2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best solution to handle gambling addition, in a country. on: August 04, 2019, 09:33:07 PM
Increasing the tax rates for the rewards we are making from gambling can make the people to stay away from it at some extent because most of the gamblers are doing to for money so when they need to give half the rewards to the government in the form of tax if there is a win but when we lose its completely on our head.

I think this will have no effect.  People will still play in gambling casinos.  Remember it is an easy money if they win, so they won't mind paying high taxes for it.  I believe it is best for the government to tightly monitor the gambling activity in their country.  The government must implement a daily allowable amount of money to gamble in a casino, and punish both the operator and the player if they don't follow this rule.  The allowable amount to gamble is dependent on the certain percentage of monthly earning of the player.  This way, they will at least limit a players overspending in gambling activities.
But it is impossible to implement in the reality.Government cannot monitor each and every people who are going to casino and how much they were spending for it.My suggestion hold some weigh because when the gambler win they need to give most to the government but if they lose they will lose everything so this can make the people to realize why they need to hold such amount of risk.

Most of the players are rich, as you can see in the casinos, some of them are mafias. It doesn't matter for them even the taxes goes high in gambling. I think the government will not give any attention to those people who are getting addicted because it's their life. Some of them are considering gambling as entertainment only so it's very complex if the government gets into it.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 04, 2019, 09:29:35 PM
Targeted players of bluewhale were loners. So they could convince the player to do anything as they want which caused lot of people end up being suicidal at the final task. But now that game is not available on any platform and also the one who created were arrested by the respective government.

It's kinda scary.

Why did the platform accept an agreement with bluewhale without checking if it's good for the audience or not?
If you know the movie Nerve, it's a similar thing where they command the other players to do anything what they want for money.
2503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: August 04, 2019, 09:21:34 PM
Some of the gamblers are being practical and they just wanted the profit. On the other side, it's just entertainment for them so it's not a big deal whether they learn or not. What we should study or learn is the flow chart of the bitcoin, It's good to make a strategy when to invest or not.

That is true ignore those who don’t want to share there strategies but it is good share with other people it helps to bring positivity in market so we should not get back from telling other about our strategies and taking their opinions as well. Some people remain reserved so they find share but not all people are like this.

The only strategy that is working for my experiences and should be intellectual on every decision you'll make.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Fortune Jack a Scam or are they Legit? on: August 04, 2019, 09:18:18 PM
Seriously?

This issue was from 2017 and no one didn't report the thread to be locked or something.  Shocked
The question of the OP was already answered and we can see it through the spreadsheet of FortuneJack if they really pay.
2505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 04, 2019, 07:38:30 PM
One main reason I can think of is probably low stakes, high rewards. We all know that greediness is, by default embedded within a human's psyche, ergo rendering us hungry for a high roll without risking a lot in the process. This has been pretty evident to the nature of gamblers, though there are still people who are willing to go nuts to chase losses etc. There also goes the factor of "feeling lucky" that some people carry on with them. It's a flawed belief, but given the low stakes of a lottery, why not go for it and hope to hit the jackpot, aye?

Low stakes, and yet the probability of getting a win is almost 0%. It's kinda hard to tell if you will win or not because there's a lot of people that is risking also their money for the huge jackpot. There are also many digits so the difficulty is very high so I won't play lottery.
2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 04, 2019, 07:32:16 PM
What about a game called GTA?  Could it be that a psycho designed it too?
I don't know Bluewhale but if it's banned by governments why not GTA?  It seems what the game rewards is, theft, lawlessness, destruction, violence, murder.
The game could even transform someone into psycho if he/she is not a strong willed person.
On games like GTA you are doing everything on mobile or system but on bluewhale you need to do the tasks in real life, something serious right?
Actually, GTA is a situation-based game that is all about a G life. If you know that it's not a good game especially for kids, why would you play that? I already played a lot of killing and action games but it didn't turn me out to be a psycho. It's just only a game, you should not be serious with that. I don't know bluewhale but if it's real-life game and it has more disadvantages, I think the government had some reasons to do that action.
I dont know why you guys trying to compare Bluewhale challenge and a typical pc game GTA V? If you try to search it up you would definitely see the different.
Video games do have different genre but most likely this do involved violence or related things which is really prohibited on young minds.
Like you,ive been playing games since elementary but it didnt turn myself to be a psycho. This do only matter on how you do treat the game and real-life situations.

The young people should be guided by their parents because at their state they're prone on being violent. If I would become a parent someday, I'll differentiate and explain it carefully that a game is a game only and they're aren't similar in reality.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the best gambling games originally from Asia? on: August 04, 2019, 07:25:41 PM

Cockfighting did not originate in Philippines so I don't think this is in the list.

Despite the fact that cockfighting is so popular in our country, as far as I know it did not originate here. I guess we can include the gamble of kids or sometimes adults with the spiders they caught on mountainsides since I did not heard it in other countries. Another thing is the Kara, or the other gambling games that includes coins in the streets of the Philippines.

it may not originated in the philipines but philipines is still an asian country and they love to gamble using cocks/chicken  .  the game also popular on other asian country as well as spider games like you mention or shall i say insect fights in general because there were also other insects that being used to gamble . card games also is verry popular on the asia . there are many kind of games inside the card game category  but any of these are being played every single day on our place  .

Well most of the old people here in Philippines loves cockfighting. The only thing they care about is their chicken, thinking about it all day. There's a lot of street gambling games here in our country, go to peryahan and you'll see a lot of gambling games. I used to play that spider game, buying some strong at devouring other spiders on the stick.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 04, 2019, 07:21:28 PM
Betting on eSports are already existed. Actually there's a lot of platform that accepts BTC to do betting on eSports like LoL, CSGO, DOTA2 and many more.

Steam is already accepting BTC also, this is not new,  eSports gaming already accepted and adopted cryptocurrency. Try herosphere, that's a platform that I've been using last year.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 04, 2019, 06:54:47 PM
If he computed the possible result by himself then why government arrested him?

lottery is about predictions right,if we predict the things rightly we are not allowed to play?
Are you serious?

Why would the government arrest him if he doesn't do anything wrong?
It's a pure knowledge and skill that he applies to the game, he didn't cheat.
Lottery requires predictions but it's just optional, it depends on you if you will use some different strategy.

I don't like smart-shaming, he just use his brain.

2511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit to a newbie, Like me on: August 04, 2019, 04:24:30 PM
Good day, I just created this new account a few minutes ago. Anyone can suggest how to get merit. And what is the purpose of getting merit?

Just being intellectual is enough on every post you'll create.

More on point ideas on every discussion, I know merits will come to you. Just make it sure that it's well constructed and definitely not a shitpost.

The only thing I want to advise for you is, don't focus on merits because if you're really targeting the knowledge where you can learn it through discussion, merit is not a big deal. If you're truly a great person and dedicated on what you're doing, it will bring you in the top automatically, just go with the process.
2512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending and receiving coins and tokens for newbies on: August 04, 2019, 04:19:17 PM
Why not check all characters/ digits of address? I think it is safer than only check first and last ones? Or are there some technical reasons for this?
Checking all characters/digits of address requires less than a minute, so I think people should check them all after adopting and pasting.

It is impossible for a hacker to generate a private key which only  changes a few digits of your public address.

Even vanity generators are able only to match a few characters together.

So you only need to check some characters, not all of them.

Even if it takes only a minute, it is not necessary imo.

When I'm checking the address, I only check the first letter and the last letter since our address is very unique. It's quite obvious if there's a change of letters/numbers in your address. There's a little probability of having a similar BTC address in here, at least 10 or more digits are different from each other.

If you always using your BTC address for having a daily transaction, you can memorize it and by checking you can notice anything if it's wrong in just a second.  Cheesy
2513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Careful !! Don't share your problem in Telegram on: August 04, 2019, 04:08:55 PM
In my case, I will contact them through email. Messenger platforms are very risky because of multiple people might send you a message and will try to scam you. Sending an email when there's an error is the best way to approach them than sending a concern thru telegram. People around you will try to take advantage of you since you lack the knowledge of having a transaction.

2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: August 04, 2019, 03:53:56 PM
I totally agree with you, it's been used by scammers and fraudsters for quite a long time now and it's not stopping because of it's anonymous transactions that cannot be identified by the authority that's why it's been abused for illegal acts. Some governments are afraid to adopt bitcoin because of that facts and i hope this issues will be solved in the future in order for bitcoin to be fully be adopted.

And did the government stopped the scammers using the real currency?

They did not right? I don't think we should linger in this since it is a decentralized cryptocurrency. We should educate ourselves more rather than hate these scammers. Don't get me wrong though, we should hate scammers but we should also hate ourselves from being scammed since that is our fault not educating ourselves about them.

Agree tho, we should educate ourselves first and make a move for the development of bitcoin. If they can see on us that we're using bitcoin freely and they observed that there are good advantages, it will give a good impression also.

Scammers are everywhere, even in the online platform, there's a lot of them. We can avoid those, there are people that use a thing in a bad way.
2516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do ? on: August 04, 2019, 03:16:35 PM
On this time, you can still actually use bitcoin with some various software like VPN to avoid being caught.

If the Indian Government ban the cryptocurrency then Bitcoin will still going to the sky, it doesn't affect too much. There's a lot of countries who adopt Bitcoin as a payment and I'm proud to say that my country is one of them.  Cheesy

The problem is, how will you transfer or convert your cryptocurrency into fiat in your country?
2517  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 04, 2019, 02:50:54 PM
Tanong ko lang mga sir , bakit ung account ko sa coins.ph is level 3 verified which is ung cash in at cash out nia nasa 400,000 every month , pero as i check sa limits and verification is nasa 100,000 na lang at nakalagay na is custom.
At most probably need mag renew or mag send ulit ng another valid ID for your account para bumalik yung level ng account mo.

At best suggestion is ask them/send support ticket regarding sa issue mo.

Diba Address Verification lang naman sa Level 3? I don't think qualified as document yung Police clearance at iba pang considered as valid ID sa Level 3 verification. Ang mas magandang gamit don is Barangay Certification of Residency para hindi na bumaba yung level incase magkaroon man ng expiration yung Valid ID.

Ang gamit kong valid ID ay expired na rin pero hindi pa naman ako nagkakaroon ng issue na bumaba yung Limits ng cash in and cash out ko.
2518  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: {Katotohanan} Mga Benepisyo sa pagsali sa kalidad na bayad signature campaign on: August 04, 2019, 02:38:08 PM

Mahirap ang buhay then go find a job.

Actually yung iba talaga dito is may trabaho na at umaasa lang talaga na mas makakuha ng mas malaki. They have access to internet and spending time to earn here, edi ibig sabihin may may ability sila para mag-provide ng mga needs para makapag-browse dito at makapag-post. No offend pero through signature campaigns, mas lalo lang din nasisira yung community because of shitposting and spamming, I hope you aren't one of those. Kasi if you're joining bounty campaigns, hindi ka naman sure na kikita ngayon because of multiple ICO scams. The only way you'll earn are through services and btc campaigns.

Bihira nalang din ako makakita ng mga taong purpose nila dito is pure knowledge lamang.
2519  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine's 5 million users on: August 04, 2019, 02:25:39 PM
Nakakamangha naman na 5 Million users na ang na reach ng coins.ph ang tanong dyan eh ginagamit naman kaya nila amg services ng coins.ph
That's the question! It's good to know na 5 million users na ang users ng coins.ph which is a good indication ng paglago ng crypto community sa bansa ang kaso nga lang hindi maalis sa isipan ko ang pagdududa. I'm curious kung ano pinagbasihan ng coins.ph for such statement, if they based only on the number of registrations then hindi pa rin ako masyado impressed kasi marami dyan na gumawa lang ng account after mahype saglit tapos tinamad din or kaya naman yung mga tao na nagregister for referral tapos after makuha ang pakay ay umalis din. Mas maganda kung naging mas specific sana sila, mas maganda kung hindi lang users but active users ang sinabi nila because there's a lot of difference between the two Smiley.

2520  Economy / Economics / Re: thoughts on companies becoming too powerful? on: August 04, 2019, 01:51:12 PM
Companies become so big and they have enormous power over us, do you think companies like this should be broken up by the government or be allowed to reign supreme?

As long as it gives and satisfies the needs of the people in terms of entertainment then why should it be broken up.
They are doing their purposes, so it should exist as long as we want it to exist. It doesn't really affect our lives and those employees of companies that have been bought. It's their business if they wanted to buy those companies that oppose them, it's part of being intellectual. The purpose for you that's why they're still existing is for entertainment so you should focus on that.
