Soo, guys, i read about this BTC-Diamond thingy.
In theory, it does what B-Cash AND B-Gold does, together. AND "balance encryption", which i think was about time too. I think, thats a very good idea, we all have been waiting for that, no ? I mean, itīs a joke, when i pay, i have to show how much i have ! Itīs like paying at 7/11, and opening my wallet there, for everybody to see, whats in it. Who wants that ?
Itīs to good, to be true, right ?
Well, let's hope this development team takes more precautions than the Bitcoin Gold team did to thwart phishing scams and malware. So far, the Bitcoin Gold team had a link to a phishing site on their web page and had their official link to their wallet download on Github get redirected. I'm sure the hackers and scammers will be out in force to try and get some easy money from people wanting to claim their Bitcoin Diamond too. This idea of splitting off the Bitcoin chain and requiring people to use their private keys to claim free coins is really awful.

A self moderated forum need to be created for Bitcoin Cash ,
as this bunch of core trolls pussies have no intention of stopping.
╥Aztek
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from creating your own self-moderated thread. If what you desire is an echo chamber for Bitcoin Cash lovers, then go for it. There is no point to me creating one, as they have already banned me for weeks at a time when I have done nothing against their TOS. They just permaban me and I would be unable to delete the trolls posts and we are right back where we started. No, the current OP should create a new moderated thread , and point to it from here and then lock this one forever. As he is a member of DT, they won't permaban him. ╥Aztek The current OP is a staff member. If he creates a self moderated thread, that would be very controversial. Many of the trolls would be bitching to Theymos, I'm sure.

Why is there so much acrimony between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Core?
If Bitcoin Cash actually flips BTC and takes share / market cap it will set the space back for 5 years.
Isn't it the theory supposed to be that BTC is antifragile? What's the harm in having a competitor test the theory? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VopgyAc-F9U

Let's just call it Bitcoin Trash instead. Right back at you Ver. With a smile.

It was second boring week for BCH supporters because at least I was sure last week's missed pump will be managed this time. Weekend is already over now we should think again to have similar hopes for next one. Bitcoin's price are soaring up and will heal the wounds of those who bought BCH at $2400 range very soon.
Time for Ver to begin a more vigorous campaign to get his Bitpay clients to accept BCH. Wu already is doing his part by only accepting BCH for new miner batches.

So basically you lost money with Sigt like a lot of people including me, now you upset and blaming all around about made only your own decisions? Cause it looking like that. What about your previous posts? Will remind you about this one - "Add POLYtimos coin to this list. Same people. Same behavior. Same price drop after getting at exchange." that taking from Straks thread, so in fact, beside Poly project, you called Straks scam project. So wherever it calls, shit talking or scam accusation, you need to give people proofs of your words. How Poly related with Sigt developers? How Poly related with Straks project? Or this "same people" can be regarded like somewhere here is Doc around or what? So will appreciate to hear some proofs of word.
If you read my next post there, I corrected my position about STRAKS a few minutes later. I can give you the proofs, but will do it later because it requires a lot of time putting all information together. I'm not the only one who noticed same behavior and core supporters around. I missed some last pages here, are there answer were given regarding fairness of the launch when someone mined this coin with GPUs when all others tried to do this with CPU? Actually, the GPU miner was released with a few hours of launch. Perhaps a little unfair. However, I have seen situations where someone comes up with a GPU miner, mines tons of coins themselves and puts it up for sale, never releasing the GPU miner to the public for free.

Lots of people called Bitcoin Gold is a scam one. Why? Are there another Bitcoin Gold? It's not really a scam. However, there appears to be a good deal of actual scams that are exploiting this coin. The latest example is someone redirecting the download links so people can download a very special wallet. Thank god this was caught after only a couple of days.

And what exactly is wrong with me bitching about centralization wherever it rears its ugly head?
::sigh:: nothing. Though I believe you are confusing the position enjoyed by a superior competitor in the free market with centralization. A 70% market share in SHA256 ASICS and also have an interest in pools contributing to almost 50% of the hash rate for BTC and 90% for BCH? Oh no, that's not centralized at all. I suppose by your definition, De Beers was only a "superior competitor" in the free market of diamonds, until recently. Oh and as a side note: This DragonMint project does look promising. However, if it really appears as though it's going to cut in on Jihan Wu's turf, do you really think that Jihan is just going to sit idly by and let it happen? I'm sure Jihan will make every attempt to get his tentacles wrapped around that project. jbear hasn't got back to our point yet? it was so good tho Thanks for the compliment. My argument does use an analogy though, so I am sure it is fallacious in some way. (After all, in the 80s, De Beers controlled 90% of the diamond market. So they are an extreme example.) But hey, can't be perfect.

Coinbase seem to be off doing their own thing, Finex and Stamp aren't there yet, but just coz... Over 9000!Coinbase usually trades for a little higher. Probably because the process of getting verified and actually buying BTC with them is easier than on other exchanges.

Thank goodness that I own a Trezor. I wasn't interested in running my own full node and didn't need to find ways to claim my BTG that could compromise my seed or private keys. At least I am hoping there isn't some other vulnerability with Trezor that I am unaware of.

For now, are there technical solutions for fighting with Replay Attacks?
Yes, they coded in two way replay protection. Seemed to pass muster with Slush since that was one of the conditions SatoshiLabs had before integrating BTG support for Trezor. Also, I haven't heard any complaints about people's transactions getting replayed. However, with the way things have been going, who knows.

What happened with the Windows installer? I see the warning on the website. Is the one currently displayed safe to use? Was the website or GitHub hacked? The link to the windows installer in the OP points to a download with the wrong checksum: This is the link: http://1ink.cc/g9Ia beware. The checksum returned is: 4e4249f68730a2f7a7210a730de21a79b646c8895622dda4e18d6a4b6f50d992 However the one currently on GitHub at https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/releases/tag/0.15.0.1Returns the correct one: 53e01dd7366e87fb920645b29541f8487f6f9eec233cbb43032c60c0398fc9fa So should we assume the OP has also been hacked? BEWARE GUYS, MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK WHAT YOU DOWNLOAD BEFORE YOU RUN ANY SOFTWARE!!!<Sigh> I was really trying to start to root for this project. Are we even certain the OP is directly linked with the dev team? The posts seemed to indicate that he was. How many of these incidents is the community willing to bear?

So is this my Black Friday discount? Over a day late? Raise price by 10% and then put on sale at 5% discount. Aren't there laws against that?

What's up with Finex?
BFX and Tether are owned by the same people. Don't trust them. More than the 10 stated minutes in that tweet have passed since phoenix started the maintenance. So if BfX is down for 2 hours is that enough to crash the market? Edit: Bitfinex is back up. No, Craig Wright would have to sign a message with one of the Coinbase addresses of the 1st 10 blocks. That for sure would bring about a pretty abrupt crash. (Thank goodness that will most probably never happen. About the same chance as hacking a BTC private key with a Commodore 64.)
