0.001 is 355.5 php based on http://preev.com/btc/php.
Kung may magbibigay sayo ng rate na yan, sobrang bait na, tapos laki pa ng hinahanap mo .

Good luck, sana may magbigay.

Sa ngayon, mahirap maghanap na papayag sa ganyang rate...lahat ata ng tao ngayon ay mga holders meaning ayaw nila pakawalan ang kanilang Bitcoin ng basta basta na lang. Bitcoin is expected to start its bull run that is meaning hoarding and hodling can be becoming normal these days. Pero malay natin sa mga kakilala o kaibagan maaari pa rin naman sigurong makiusap.

So there is still interest when what there is to be done in several countries concerning tokens. Yet the states have not and have strictly outright banned them when it comes to having them viewed under one law calling them securities.

I am seeing that Germany is more open-minded when it comes to cryptocurrency and tokenization. I am happy to note that projects can now offer tokens to the public or the investors without the fear of being accused as selling securities which is contrary to the current stand of the USA SEC on the same matter. What we really need is a comprehensive law governing this new platform so that companies can have the opportunity to do crowdsale for their projects while at the same time token buyers are protected. This is in fact the best way to deal with scams as there will be vetting process open to the public. With regulations, we should be expecting some restrictions but this can be opening many new opportunities. And Germany is seeing this as a good opportunity.
2523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin conceptualization in the context of globalization on: May 11, 2019, 01:33:40 PM
For me globalization and everything to do with it sounds like a new way of controlling minds, kindda when all the globe thinks the same it's easier to rule. and btc is another drop to that ocean of "uniting" tools lol.
It's not a way of controlling minds but there are definitely detractors when it comes to globalization. While there are economic benefits, the impacts it has on the cultures around the world don't really provide a net benefit when you consider all the aspects. Globalization makes it easier to make everyone think the same and it just units labor in a way that makes wages far cheaper than they would be otherwise. It's a net gain for corporations however it's a net loss for anyone who actually works for a living. Regardless of whether Bitcoin is a uniting tool or not (and I doubt it is considering the massive market that surrounds currency exchange), it's only a small segment in an increasingly strange world. I don't think anyone was imagining tech and commerce to advance this fast, and now it's exponentially growing.

Globalization is not a very simple thing to discuss much more implemented across many economies which varies in scale, challenges and threats as well as opportunities. I am for limited globalization and not for unbridled where we don't care what the system can bring to local people. Globalization should be benefiting the people in the first place, otherwise it can just a tool for the powerful to trump on weaker economies. In other words, economies and governments together with the people should be talking and not ignoring each other to sidestep possible blunders that can be hurting the people themselves.

As to what is the role of Bitcoin with globalization and whether it can be positive or negative, this question can be difficult to answer for now maybe we should wait for some years before the full picture can emerge. As of now, Bitcoin is borderless so it can facilitate global eCommerce and this is an important aspect in globalization the seamless flow of money from one country to another faster and with lesser fees. And this is where many people are actually excited.

2524  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - $6700 on: May 11, 2019, 10:58:04 AM
I did not hear good news about Bitcoin but in the last few days bitcoin has been pumped, I think everyone is trying their luck by buying bitcoin and make the value of bitcoin move up, hopefully bitcoin will continue to move up and altcoin will experience growth.

Bitcoin is on the rise and many are expecting that this can be the start of the bull run though there is a possibility of a retracement soon. The thing is that there have no clear triggers for this upward movement and in fact there were some bad news on the horizon but Bitcoin just ignored them all. This can invite many to come on board and speculate on Bitcoin which in turn makes it go green. Now, this is happening to Bitcoin but the rest of the cryptocurrency market is not reacting that profusely. We are all wishing that the same movement can also push top alts to do the same.

but to be sincere, ive come to discover that most or should i say some people without any tangible reason hate bitcoin and cryptocurrency and cant wait for it to fail so they can watch the investors cry while they laugh on the other side and probably say "i warned them, but they refused to listen"

There will always be people who just hate something based on nothing but his/her own myopic view of things. And the fact is that we can not never please everybody. Some people have their own strong negative opinions on Bitcoin but the thing is that eventually no one can stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin do not need people who are not open-minded and who are not for innovations and change. I am aware that we have some famous people who are expressing their dislikes of Bitcoin from time to time and we have to let them say whatever they want to say. Time will come when they will realize they are wrong and that they could never stop this powerful change right before our very eyes.
2526  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-11] Six Months Later, Bitcoin Makes A Daring Comeback on: May 11, 2019, 10:27:11 AM

About 6 months ago in November 2018, Bitcoin took a nosedive. Things got so bad that a lot of people called crypto winter. Since then, the crypto market has been largely on ice until something happened barely 3 weeks ago. The bulls stirred to wake and the bears went off.

And now we realized that a little bit too late that the crypto winter was the best time to get into Bitcoin, hoard as much as you can then just hold it no matter what. Those people who believe that the dip is the best opportunity to get in are now smiling as they can realize big profits out of their investment. I think this is just a cycle repeating again and again with Bitcoin though we sometimes get impatient and throw the white towel when in fact the fight had just started. The bull is now taking the market and it is now roaring with a big smile.

So there you go, there's a lot of things going on behind the scene and it looks like they will revamp their security measures. So as early as next week maybe we can see deposit and withdrawals resume and back to normal operations again.

I am expecting that this time Binance can be stricter in many areas of the exchange. Hopefully, they can be able to fix the vulnerable areas so as to make sure that the unfortunate hack will not happen again. Binance is a strong platform and the whole cryptocurrency community as well as users are standing firm and  supporting it now. I am expecting that other exchanges small and big are now also looking at ways they can strengthen their own defenses as hackers are working 24/7 to steal millions and millions of coins and tokens.
2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 11, 2019, 10:10:53 AM

With the continuing trend of an upward Bitcoin price, we should be expecting more and more incentives for scammers, hackers, phishers and similar people to be trying their best luring people out of their hard-earned money by promising them returns of investment with sky-is-the-limit proportions. And with new people coming in to the world of cryptocurrency, there can be many who can easily fall victims to different schemes leaving participants with empty bags later and some blaming Bitcoin for their predicaments. Newbies and even veterans alike should be careful at all times and always remember that if something is too good to be true then most probably it is...

It is sad that for people in the media any scam that uses Bitcoin as the medium of exchange or currency is labeled as Bitcoin scam but when a scam is using the fiat money it is not in anyway called as the Dollar scam.

Have you been a victim of an elaborate cryptocurrency-related scam that cost you some money? Please share some details here so we can all learn from each other's mistakes...

2529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even former bears are switching sides on: May 11, 2019, 08:55:05 AM
Apparently Vinny Lingham and Tone Vays are bullish, Vays for the short term, and Lingham thinks the bull is knocking on the door.

https://chainbulletin.com/vinny-lingham-announces-that-the-next-48-hours-will-decide-if-the-bull-market-is-back/

Vinny failed at calling the top, Vays failed with his prediction of a longer crypto winter. Do you think they are correct this time?

The majority is wrong in a majority of time.

I guess we have to understand that they are all humans and even the best and the most intelligent men in this industry can all go wrong. They were just sharing their own opinions and since I am sure that these men are also open-minded then they are in fact happy to be proven wrong by Bitcoin's recent upsurge.

I am not actually against prediction because prophets of gloom and prosperity are adding more dynamic and excitement to the marketplace...we should just take whatever they are saying with some grain of salt most especially with Bitcoin one of the most unpredictable beast in town.
2530  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-05-11] Analysts Roar As Bitcoin Tops $6,700 on: May 11, 2019, 08:25:21 AM

Bitcoin Blips Above $6,700, Crypto In Disbelief

No. Way. Bitcoin (BTC) just hours ago moved above $6,700 and even flirted with $6,800 on some crypto exchanges. Although many have been absolutely enamored with this move, some have been left asking: Is the cryptocurrency moving too far too fast?

Over the past five weeks, Bitcoin has been in a decidedly bullish trend. Ever since the asset broke past the key $4,200 resistance level and its 200-day moving average, some, like Fundstrat’s Tom Lee, have proclaimed that BTC was in a “bull market”.

But few, very few, expected the digital asset class to move as fast it has in the past weeks. In the past month alone, BTC is up by over 50% — gains reminiscent of 2017’s rally. Yet here we are. And interestingly, a move even higher might just be in Bitcoin’s cards.

As industry researcher Willy Woo remarks, if a short squeeze comes to life, BTC would see a “blow-off”, whereas prices explode within a short period of time, before a retracement. This is because such squeezes require short-sellers to “buy back at market price,” creating instant buying pressure.

Source: https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/05/11/analysts-roar-bitcoin-tops-6700-crypto-rally-sustained/

This can be truly an exciting time for Bitcoin so much so that even people who are thriving in the cryptocurrency market are expressing some disbelief of its continuing upward trajectory. Well, it is good to be surprised for good, anyway. And Bitcoin is just showing its well-known unpredictability side here...something that is really making it more pulsating and just beautiful...that is if you are a holder or a trader.

Will this be the signal that days from now more and more people will be joining the Bitcoin bandwagon...which in turn can fuel more speculations on the market? Or have we already learned of the mistakes of the past?

2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN THE ONLY KING, NO DISPUTE on: May 11, 2019, 07:55:41 AM
As the cryptocurrency general market cap attains $200B+, bitcoin maintains a lead of market dominance with 59.4% percentage, making the rest altcoins to either be stagnant or bleeding profusely. This has further show the confidence investors have on the bitcoin as a coin despite all the falsehood coming from the Bitcoincash(BCH) and bitcoinSatoshiVision (BSV) community, both of which have failed to prove their claim in the market. I really feel sorry for BCH and BSV investors, kindly accept my unreserved sympathy for been misled to buying what is not the original bitcoin. BTC to $7k in a moment and what next? Lambo is all I see, Viva bitcoin, let's party on.

I am seeing Bitcoin to be the reigning King of all cryptos for many years to come despite the fact that it is never perfect (but nothing is) and even if it can be attacked from time to time by people who are only promoting their own self-vested interests and desires. I am sure there are spaces available for selected Bitcoin attackers in the crypto-cemetery. There is only real Bitcoin and that is of course Bitcoin! Let no one deceive us otherwise.

10. Thou shall smile

I think I would take the number 10 and have it adopted by people everywhere regardless if the Church of Bitcoin can be accepted by the society or not. The idea of making our adherence to Bitcoin a religion so that no laws can be passed to abridged our inherent rights to use Bitcoin can be a good idea but of course no government may take it that seriously. But I am sure many would love this idea...making it come true can even be more difficult than making Bitcoin accepted by many governments though.
2533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index on: May 11, 2019, 07:36:20 AM
The Fear and Greed Index for Bitcoin is a good indication of the current market sentiment towards the King of Cryptos and as of May 11, 2019 it is standing at 76 which an improvement of 5 points than the previous update and a great leap from last month's 51. Now, this analysis is quite reflective of the current upward movement of Bitcoin as it is releasing the energy, excitement and enthusiasm in the marketplace.

Here is a plot of the Fear & Greed Index over time, where a value of 0 means "Extreme Fear" while a value of 100 represents "Extreme Greed".

Interesting, isn't it? By the way, this is not my own analysis, and I am not the one making it up.
2534  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 11, 2019, 06:37:37 AM
This is a clear sign of the upcoming victory of when blockchain technology and cryptocurrency would be accepted. Payment with digital currencies are surely the future y'all, stick around for a while and you would see the vision of Satoshi been materialized.

As far as regulation and acceptance especially with connection to the governments, I would say that we are moving steadily though not on a trailblazing pace but still considering that Bitcoin is not that really old this is already satisfying and inspiring. There can be more positive developments coming in the coming months and years for Bitcoin as changes are slowly trek in. Working with the government and convincing them of the many advantages of regulating cryptocurrency is the name of the game...hopefully more will be joining the bandwagon soon. I am expecting that eventually India and Russia will pass laws regulating Bitcoin...these are two big markets and can be influential on how Bitcoin moves in the market.

Very true, the existence of bitcoin as well as other altcoins is considerably young. Such achievement according to the map is already outstanding. Sooner or later, those countries treating crypto as illegal will change their stance as they can see that first world countries are accepting it wholeheartedly. So what's in them not to see the benefits of crypto?

In my opinion, the big reason that blinded many governments not to accept and make Bitcoin legal by passing regulatory framework is the fact that they feel that with Bitcoin they are losing the control. So many governments are indeed control freaks, sad to say! Remember that governments usually have their central banks wielding so much power on the financial and economic matters affecting the country. They think that Bitcoin there is nothing they can do. However, this is a very myopic viewpoint because this is precisely they should pass regulations so that they can indirectly influence the Bitcoin marketplace. They should really see Bitcoin the same way they are viewing the physical gold. Of course, Bitcoin is much more than being the digital gold as we know that Bitcoin is also representing innovations and changes that can affect a country's economy and even politics by returning the power to the people and many governments do not like that idea.
2535  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-10] Ban Bitcoin! Urges Congressman After Realizing It Can Disempower US on: May 11, 2019, 06:27:22 AM
Here's a direct link to the video if anyone wants to watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cnz2oo8MRas. It's just a shame none of the guys behind him lifted up a "Buy Bitcoin" sign like they did during Yellen's testimony back in 2017. Grin

So, as the famous Gandhi/Nicholas Klein quote goes, we've moved past the "ignoring" stage and the "laughing" stage (bitcoin is a scam, bitcoin is dead, bitcoin is Ponzi scheme, etc.) and are now at the "fighting" stage. Funny that something which is "a scam" is apparently a threat to the international standing of the US. Hopefully not long before the "we win" stage.

Well, it would have been another epic event if someone flashed the "Buy Bitcoin" sign when that balding politician was speaking introducing the bill to nip cryptocurrency on the bud. This is telling us that as of now, powerful men and women are taking recognition of the power of Bitcoin to disrupt the usual flow of things. While he has actually a point, we have to remember that as of now Bitcoin is not yet that powerful internationally as many illegal transactions are still conducted using the fiat money. In addition, this is just another one-sided view on Bitcoin as fiat money can easily be utilized to also undermine the interest of USA abroad. People and governments working for the demise of USA all have many other alternative and creative ways to make sure they get what they want and soon USA can be swarmed and be exploited with its many weaknesses. I am hoping that it will not happen though.
2536  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance case shows that crypto community is stronger than ever on: May 11, 2019, 06:17:19 AM
I've read quite interesting article on BlockChain24.co, with a very encouraging view on Binance case. After exchange hacked, many people from crypto world decided to help it, in the name of greater good. I think this is a strong message that crypto community working together is an unstoppable force. What do you think?

The case of the Binance hack is quite interesting. We know that Binance is not that affected financially because the leader of this group had the vision of securing the business no matter what via the fund set-up for such a purpose. Now, instead of people losing trust and confidence with the exchange due to security breach, instead we are sensing that people here are uniting for the cause of supporting Binance. Soon the exchange will be back into its feet stronger and definitely wiser. This is just telling us that the cryptocurrency community remains to be in love with Binance.
2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? A New Journey and Candidate [Great Read for All] on: May 11, 2019, 06:14:12 AM
It is intriguing and all of us is really curious about the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. This details and speculation about him is great. I am wondering why Satoshi had been inactive for a long time. Could it be that the creator of bitcoin is already dead? He surely did a great job hiding his identity. I guess it is really best to let him be anonymous since he doesn't really intend to reveal himself.

Satoshi Nakamoto will remain to be one of the most fascinating mysteries ever...and people especially those in the world of cryptocurrency will continue to speculate as to who can be the real Satoshi and the many mysterious surrounding his continuous absence from the scene. A lot are speculating that maybe he can already be dead but a lot are also hoping that he is just hiding somewhere and that one day he will resurface and be the figure leader of the Bitcoin movement. As of now, let's just be content and respect his own decision to stay silent (that is if nothing untoward happened to him).
2538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin the future or just a precursor on: May 11, 2019, 05:51:33 AM
sometime in 2017 I joined the crypto space . I started out with faucets and other freebies which were the rave of the moment as of 2017. My first use of bitcoin to perpetuate transaction left me amused. The ability to perpetuate operations with people from all over the world without any form of geographical legislation or censorship, at low cost and without exorbitant fees often associated with other means of remittance I.e western union really endeared me to bitcoin..
My love for the bitcoin network was short lived because as the valuation of the bitcoin currency continued to rise, so also the adoption and utilization of bitcoin. This rise in use brought about expensive transactions fee and delay in confirmation of transactions. In my opinion, at some point, it was even worse than the traditional finance and remittance system of the world... Then I tried out the Ethereum blockchain and I was immediately astonished by its durability and high transaction performance but likewise increased usage of the ethereum blockchain and its exceptional support for tokens brought about clogging and sad decline in performance as at then..
Then I had to reconsider using bitcoin for my transactions, especially with the lighting network.. Well the market has gradually began to show signs of an uptrend and it's expected that more users join the bitcoin network?Do you still see bitcoin as the future of blockchain payment and  remittance or is it just a precursor to another blockchain startup which will shake the finance and remittance system of the world?
Feel free to share your thoughts and in-depth analysis of the subject matter..

Well, there's no perfect technology. You cannot expect something to be perfect when it pops-up, the problem with bitcoin scalability is slowly being solved by developers which where they came up with lightning network. Technology is a continuous development, so if ever a problem exists, people will continue to find solution. I still see cryptocurrency as an alternative to fiat regardless if sometimes there might be high fees or problem with confirmation of transaction, it will still be more convenient than using banks.

Bitcoin just paved the way that can greatly change the current financial system we are having. I may not believe that soon fiat money can be totally replaced as that can be impossible not unless we will have one global government and that government will solely adopt Bitcoin but I know with the underlying technology it is using there will be more and more innovations that people can enjoy. The most important for now is that Bitcoin is evolving and that people have a choice. Besides, Bitcoin is still young so we can expect more and more developments with this as years go by. The Bitcoin saga is ongoing and it is a good feeling to be a part of it...
2539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New billionarie list if bitcoin exploded on: May 11, 2019, 05:40:00 AM

In my own opinion, this may not really be a verified list but nonetheless the fact is that many holders will indeed be getting rich when Bitcoin will finally do the wished bull run. I am surprised that there are three governments on the list...and this is telling us that even governments stand to benefit out of Bitcoin. I am sensing that many big and small holders of Bitcoin are right now taking notice and many are thinking of adding more on to their hoard. And this can create more excitement on the market fueling more fire to the belly of Bitcoin.

I am happy today as finally the total Marketcap is now $200 billion, what can we expect from here?

Finally, the Bitcoin market is beaming with so much energy, excitement and enthusiasm as there is definitely now a continuing upward movement for our favorite coin. Now, I am asking myself the same question: Will this continue on for weeks or will there be the possible retracement? I am sure that there are now many who are thinking of reentering Bitcoin again but are just looking for the right timing or the time when Bitcoin will slow down the pace and dip a little. I am just wishing that along with Bitcoin, leading alts will also go for green.
