I was wondering though: when you send your information to them, verify your identity and obtain your higher limits, do your KYC data "travel" beside every payment you do? Or are those info only stored in the company where you required the card from?
As far as I know, there are approved procedures that financial firms have to follow in gathering and storing data from their customers and there are penalties that can be imposed when those procedures are not followed and if data is leaked to other parties. This is very important so that there will be trust between parties. In the face of the risks associated with data leakage (like what happened with Facebook recently and the many hacks affecting many online companies), we are expecting tighter regulations and stricter implementation to protect data privacy. |

At this juncture, it seems to me that GlobalCoin is enjoying the financial support of big names in different indsutries and I am sure that these big names will be integrating GlobalCoin into their own respective platforms...which basically means that the potential market of this new cryptocurrency (though many are raising eyebrows for the category) aside from the given social media platforms controlled by Mark Zuckerberg. The team behind the project know what they are doing and as early as now they know the value of forging strong and valuable partnerships. Many people are excited of what will be for this coin and equally there are those who are preferring to doubt and even don't like it...so let's just see what can happen when the door is finally open for GlobalCoin.

I am one of the many disturbed by these not-so-positive developments in my favorite cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex which is one of the first sites I got into when I started to get involved in this industry way back in 2016-2017. Let's hope for the best that these disturbances are just temporary and soon things can be smoothen out and that Bittrex will eventually fly with exploding colors again. Cryptocurrency exchanges are playing a very pivotal role in the whole industry and thus we should be wishing them the best.

Bitcoin did it again! And I am sure that people are now wondering and asking if $10,000 is now easily on sight and can be on the bag soon. Will bitcoin eventually pole-vault itself towards that psychological barrier soon or will it again do the retracement dance for the benefit of people who love to buy while there is a dip? I am very excited to see bitcoin show its resiliency again and again proving many predictions of gloom and doom into smithereens. People who are wondering why bitcoin is a solid and strong digital asset should just look at its history of how many times it had been proclaimed to be dead...yet here it is enjoying the big resurgence it is experiencing now.

We should be cautious though because accepting the possible use of the blockchain technology does not automatically mean that bitcoin can also be given the same pass...but we are hoping that this is so. Bangladesh can be a good addition to many countries whose people are already enjoying the option of buying, using and trading bitcoin. With a growing economy and number of people, the potential for this country to contribute something for the industry can be a big and happy news.

It is said that the best way to catch a fish is through its mouth. Indeed, using the video as the evidence, one can easily surmise that indeed Craig Wright later on just read the bitcoin whitepaper therefore he did not write it. This is getting to be funny and I am this is not going to be the last blunder created by the man...there will be more and I am sure they are worthy to dissect and see how he is a true liar. Maybe the man should stop saying anything for the time being...anyway I am sure he already has the millions of dollars hoarded under his name.

As of now, there is no school that is officially offering a degree on the blockchain and bitcoin so most likely the so-called experts are based on their experience and skills. This is all about coding so if one can code well then the person can work with open-source programs being utilized with many cryptocurrency-related projects. I have seen some profiles in the LinkedIn site and many of them use reference of the projects where they were involved with. I am not a bitcoin technical expert though so this must be just one of my many opinions.

Kevin O'Leary must be belonging to the old-school club led by Warren Buffet. These men are not interested with bitcoin and they are open to say whatever they wanted to say against this new digital asset revolution. Sure, bitcoin is not perfect but it is evolving and though some famous names predicted in the past that it will just go away silently, we now know that bitcoin is here to stay. It is quite hard to determine the future of cryptocurrency but using the resiliency of bitcoin as the gauge, in my mind, there is no question that its future can be bright especially that we are seeing a steady rise of its adoption in many industries and the general masses.
I guess we just have to respect the man and his disdain on bitcoin...because eventually it is going to be time that will prove him to be false. Bitcoin died many times and yet it is still standing strong up to this day. There will always be critics especially with a successful platform like bitcoin...the more critics the more we know that bitcoin successfully ruffled their feathers.

We may all have different ideologies and have different political beliefs, but the only thing that everyone agrees on and the only thing that everyone likes is money, and bitcoin gives everyone the opportunity to make some, so it does not matter whether you are a communist or a librettist, plus in our current society most of the people don't care about these kind of ideologies, for the late boomers and beyond who are the people that are shaping the future don't care about these stuff.
It's not true that everyone likes money, the ideology of communism seeks to abolish money totally, because money is in the core of market economy, and they want to replace market economy with communism, where everything is free. People like money only because it can be exchanged for goods and services, without it it's just paper or bits on a computer, so when money become worthless, no one likes them anymore. So, communists wouldn't refuse if you'd offer them some free Bitcoin's, because a money is a money, but their goal is to make Bitcoin useless, and to them Bitcoin is a representation of pure capitalism, because it is essentially a digital private property, so don't expect communists to be fans of Bitcoin. I have limited knowledge on communism but I am sure that it is just another idea that failed to work when implemented in the field all because as humans we are dealing with the weaknesses of the human nature. Bitcoin is partly about returning the power to the hands of the people and minimize the role of the government in the financial system (though this has not fully happened yet). Right now, I don't know of any country that can claim to be under true communism as countries like China and Russia have already adopted many capitalistic ideas and concepts and are now playing and competing in the global market. So the question is if bitcoin can be compatible with communists? Well, to me, as long as they are still using money then maybe there will be no problem unless of course if the government they are under made a strong stand against the use and trade of bitcoin probably not because they are communists but because they are afraid to lose the supposed control on their economy and the people. |

An interesting video, but it was worth doing a shorter interview. Removing such stories from their lives. Personally, it is more pleasant for me to listen about the project itself, and not something that was long ago in youth.
That's their way to do their marketing. Some folks love the background of a CEO to be clear. They believe that if the CEO is someone who is visionary, like hoping to have a business since his youth then the company might have a bigger chance to succeed. That's just a believe though, not necessarily supported by facts. Marketing is all about presenting stories that somehow can connect with the intended audience. They are sharing their stories all because they are projecting to be real and not just another fakes hiding somewhere below the table like what many projects are doing. Swissborg is actually one of the projects I supported in 2017 and although it is still has to recover from the market dump, I think it is doing good as a platform. It is nice to hear its CEO talking many things in that YouTube video being interviewed by his own older brother no less (and they look very similar in terms of facial features). There are many things I am learning and getting inspired just watching him talk about many things. |

There is no fixed correlation in between bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins. There were times that when bitcoin is up many alts followed the same patterns and there were also times when they don't. The influence of bitcoin with the rest of the cryptocurrency market is quite obvious and proven but it does not mean that the same pattern can be seen at all times. This is making this whole market very exciting, unpredictable and hopefully for someone who is good on trading also very profitable.

Let's correct the wrong impression that this is a ban because this is not. All USA customers are to be transferred to another platform still under the management of Binance so they can be complying with US laws. Sure, there can be strict implementation of the KYC requisite but then that is the compromise they need to make in order to continue doing business in that big market. People who are afraid to submit the KYC requirements have to decide whether to stay or just go silently. In our modern and hi-tech world, no matter how complaints we can make, there is no way we can get away from the power of the government and that is the reality.

In 2017, many entered the world of cryptocurrency all because of the many hypes and wrong perceptions surrounding this industry and consequently when bitcoin entered the winter phase many got burned...just imagine when you start bitcoin ATH of almost $20,000 and then later on realized that it was down to around $4,000 that can be devastating and so many cut loss and just went away. Let's hope that this same scenario will not be repeated once bitcoin can go parabolic again.
Investing with cryptocurrency involves a lot of education, timing and maybe some luck also. There is no sure-fire or guaranteed formula here...but if one has the intent to just hold let's say for the next one, two or even five years then entering bitcoin at its dip is the best advice I can give.
