Just a quick note to say we had a good chat on IRC last night. Reorder, myself and Brokkir were the only ones able to make it.  I'm sure Brokkir will post in due course.   Amongst the things we discussed and decided on were:

1) Android wallet - currently being worked on

2) We will be polling the community on going to full POS.

3) A MNR multipool which mines the most profitable currency in exchange for MNR (in combination with POS if the community agrees).

4) Alternatives to POS only, hybrid systems, variable block rewards (inc. price based rewards), multi-algorithm mining, limiting hashrates per miner etc.

5) The ongoing search for more team members particularly to handle PR/social media

Excellent, thank you for your feedback. The 2 testers I'm referring to, were reporting application load times of more than a minute (which is obviously much longer than it should be), whereas all other testers reported load times of mere seconds. We just want to make sure that this is not application related, so any feedback on this matter is appreciated.

I have a fully specced 2013 Imac with 32 GB of RAM and have as many as 20 apps running simultaneously, am also mining on it and it takes about 10 seconds to load despite all that.

It means my 70000 coins are dead now? I worked hard for them doing so many tasks.

Oh God why? WHY? Why can't they just read?

Sorry but you missed the boat, although quite how, I don't understand.

ehh right? I guess coinwarz missed the boat along with that 896.49 MH/s of people still hashing SAT out, as of today. They haven't even flagged it yet. It was ok addition to the multipools, but who follows just one altcoin?  I would have tried to convert over if provided more options. However, as a result of circumstances, I think I'm done with SAT. Goodluck with the second release. FYI, to those that haven't exchanged your coins yet. I found you can still convert your coins over on https://comkort.com/ to BTC/LTC/DOGE. Of course, they aren't worth anything now Sad

Really.  I would be embarrassed to own up to that if I were you.  So people are mining something that no longer exists? Well good luck to them.  Serves them right for sticking their heads in the sand.

Hello dudes!

Did you know BitcoinPoster.com?

You could put a logo of their coin there..   Smiley

Thankss

Thanks but that site is rubbish.  Why would anyone want to stick anything there?
2546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: July 01, 2014, 11:00:50 PM
Nautiluscoin has moved up from #6 to #5 on coinwarz :-)

By the time it gets to 1, POW will be over, so they won't be able to add it.

Thinkin outside the box here...would it be too crazy to have people come to the site, see a "get your Naut-y now" button.  They click it and it takes them to a page where they purchase a Nautilus t-shirt.  With the Nautilus shirt purchase they get, say, 50 "free" NAUT coins.  Now, I know you techy guys are thinking I'm a G-D moron.  Patience.  Im new to this shite!
Wouldn't this eliminate the rule/law/infrastructure limiting people from buying NAUT direct with money?  If so, would a voucher for said "free" coins upon tshirt purchase make sense or be allowed?  Maybe, upon purchase of the tshirt the buyer has to register an account with MintPal, etc.  So the steps would be...
They buy their shirt and get a voucher.  Then, register an account at an exchange and type in their voucher (basically the voucher is a public wallet receive address) which "pings" Nautilus who then sends them the coins.
Too crazy?  Too complicated?  I like that it's scalable, provides additional exposure to the brand/product with t-shirt sales, and gets some "average-joes" (like my boy mjh712) easy access to the coin and alt-coin universe.

That's a brilliant idea:)

Liking it does not have nothing to do with it. I trade alt coins for awile. Minerals is selling promises and doing pure marketing like many other pnd coins done before it. They just tweek abit here and there the way to promote the coin and we start seeing the sheep running into the slaughterhouse. While good coins with real development are looked over by this pnd coins.

Even if that weren't pure BS, why are you still here?
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: July 01, 2014, 05:37:21 PM
Actually Coinler some sensible people who hold Minerals are against anon because it makes real world adoption more difficult.  At least think about it.  Also Mintpal is the centre of price suppression, market manipulation of all kinds, so instead of labelling people who actually support the coin as being against it, use your brain and ask why some people might not favour these things.
2551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: July 01, 2014, 05:27:27 PM
Lot of talk about fair distribution. What do you say about the rich list?  Roll Eyes

That cant be helped... people can buy what they want... the fair distribution was about the way the coin was mined furing POW Wink

You know that anyone could rent like 50 rigs of 10mhs = 500mhs and mined this to death. So much for fair distribution. That is all marketing for tourists  Tongue

You clearly don't like this coin so why the hell are you wasting your time on this forum?  Go and support whatever you believe in.  Nobody is forcing you to buy Minerals but your trolling is just plain annoying.

Exactly you can't stop people from selling their coins for peanuts.

So what happened to the IRC meeting?  This is the kind of thing that needs to be taken seriously or else nobody will take this coin seriously.

Nothing. There was no confirmation

Confirmation from?

They have said the same about Cinni which in fact does have less coins and offers more innovatiton. Cinni was only pumped to 35k and is at 7k now. Why should Minerals be worth more?

That's a matter of opinion.  CINNI started as a scam/P&D coin.  It had none of the fair distribution/mining features of MIN.  Whilst it may have real developers now MIN has started out with real developers, an ethos of fairness, and incorporation of utility via betting.  MIN has the momentum behind it at such an early stage, whilst CINNI has been around for ages and not really delivered on anything.  Put all this together and assuming MIN continues to deliver it should easily surpass CINNI.
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: July 01, 2014, 04:46:46 PM
I mean now we need betting, we gonna need anon in 1-2 weeks so no need to rush with this.

I agree I wasn't referring to you specifically.  I just meant that full anonymity is a mistake (makes widespread adoption by retailers etc. harder) and is a distraction from more important developments.  Privacy is easier to implement and less problematic.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GB Coin: Real Team & Workshops & Financial Goals on: July 01, 2014, 04:34:50 PM
Bittrex exchange might be willing to add GBC if it can get more volume than it did on CryptoAltex (less than 0.5 BTC per day).  I have an idea that might help.  I don't have the skills to do this myself otherwise I would do it.  I'm thinking of a multipool that mines the most profitable coin and exchanges it for GBC - or direct mine GBC if that gives more GBC coins.  This would create volume and demand as well as increasing the profile of the coin but would need to be done with assistance from an exchange.  Bittrex are definitely interested but we need someone who is able to do this.  Adrian could also offer a bounty say 20K GBC (if not I can provide a bounty).  Does anybody know of anyone that might be able to do this?

Also at no. 1 spot on Comkort Exchange now: https://comkort.com/vote
2557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: July 01, 2014, 04:17:41 PM
Better to split betting and anon with little time like week or something.

Forget anon it is a waste of time.  Look at privacy that can be turned on and off but it is not urgent.  Focus on utility first i.e. the betting.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: July 01, 2014, 04:15:42 PM
the coin will be listed in upcoming monthly report of what to mine or invesnt in on http://fuk.io if you are not subscribed yet - good time to be!

Might want to consider a different URL "fuk.io" is a bit too similar to "F*ck You" - or maybe it's intentional.

There was only 1 day to convert over to SAT2? Is there no other way to convert my old SAT?

Sorry but you missed the boat, although quite how, I don't understand.  There was like one date that you had to remember or you could have just left your SAT on one of the exchanges and you wouldn't have to do anything.  Ask the devs if they can help but I think it's too late now.
