when this coin is supposed to be launched exactly? i see there is some hype around it and dev is active, i also like the airdrop, but i think every announcement that is made too long before is not going to work

We all probably invest in multiple projects and let our investment run for a while in a hope of getting profit. Sooner or later the principal amount starts to generate profits. At this time it becomes critical when to let your principal roll or take out and let profit roll thereafter.
This decision is quite difficult considering some coins like NEO, STRATIS, WAVES etc out there which definitely going to increase in value in long term. If you pull out too early you might end up missing on x10 or x20 times profit and simply be left with x2 or x2.5 times profit. This is where its very crucial.
How to judge this scenario?
I am just trying to learn and improve, gather new ideas, open to new opinions. Things which each of us perceive differently. Please enlighten with your view and valuable opinion. Thank you.
when i see too many dump in a row i know that coin is not going anywhere, but it's not very easy to tell sometimes, you need to see if the dev is active too and if there is enough hype |

Active use of blockchain in everyday’s life allows us solving a lot of problems, especially in the financial sphere. One of the problems with using this technology is customer identification. It's not always possible to successfully identify a partner.
Microsoft will decide this problem with BlockStack Labs and ConsenSus. They plan to develop a solution to simplify the identification based on the blockchain. For this they will use the solutions uPort and OneName that were written for Ethereum and Bitcoin accordingly. The product will be released in three months.
Such a platform may carry some interest for future ICO.

May I know if how can you see an altcoin when it can move its price high enough? Example: if its price is 10 sat, is it possible that someday its price would be go high to 1000sat?
it's very unlikely, it's random otherwise everyone would be rich lol, there is really no way to know but you can tell that if there are many buyers always at the same value they are accumulating, this si a good sign of a pump for me |

do you mean bitcointalk account?, because there are no account on bitcoin wallet, there is only a wallet and a passphrase to protect it, if they hack your passphrase they can steal your coins yes, but they can not hack directly your address if that what you mean |

i think 5k is another mental barrier like 3k, i'm seeing a pump and dump now here in this phase, but in the future after segwit is activated is possible to have a price above 5k yes

no but it can be a good support coin, for bitcoin, bitcoin is the internet of money, and ethereum can support bitcoin, for something that can be build on the blockchain by providing a good decentralized platform, that bitcoin do not have and we can not build everything on the bitcoin blockchain |

the supply cap is really to big, to have any significant value, i guess many holders have billions of coins, which is bad for distribution, too bad because this coin was a nice project for me, but they really need to burn out some of these coins |

Ok if i buy 100 dollars on bitcoin and in the next days the bitcoin price goes way way down, will i lose my bitcoin can i just leave the bitcoin there for a year and wait till it gets the highest price and sell it?
do you ever lose your bitcoin if they go to low or you can just leave them there forever till they go high o price?
don't trade bitcoin, it's not that easy to make money with simple trading on bitcoin, it's better if i can suggest, to buy shitcoin and wait for the pump and dump and repeat with another one, the profit is much higher than trading with bitcoin if you choose the correct altcoin, because they can be pumped 100x |

I have a weird idea for blockchain tech A coin that can only be mined by a certain zipcode, CPU mineable only, a hashrate cap per miner, no pools, with an unique ID per individual to ensure only one miner per person. I have no idea if any of this feasible Im not a developer.
If any of this were possible this could give communities with lower income a great entry into blockchain tech. Some kind of coin a whole community could mine, improve, and eventually trade on the international market.
My idea is to have like a south side Chicago coin.
Just how absolutely wrong am I?

You better believe it folks  Patience is the key. i think above 10k is hard without proper adoption, we have only japan adopting bitcoin for real, if other country don't adopt it like japan we can't see 20k-30k 50k and other crazy high price, for now i think 10k is the target to achieve, what do you think? |

comparing the gpu on the worst algo for nvidia is bad, because the 1080ti and 1080 use gddrx5, which are bad on dagger, comapre it on skein or blake2s or any other algo
you are right. but there is actually no profitable blake coin to mine. if profit of blake-coin is half to equihash or ethash i have no benefit from the better handling of the faster card. compare it on skunk, it's very hot algo now, or equihash also is not that bad, the 1080 ti is 2.5 times faster than a 1060 |

Investing on bitcoin is good, but do NOT invest ALL of your money to bitcoin. Bitcoin is growing popular nowadays, we will mever know what the government or the banks will do about the increase of value of bitcoin. I do not claim perfect knowledge but just some advice, invest on tangible things too, businesses and stuff. Do not focus on bitcoin because the value changes drastically.
i think i can invest all my money now, it look very bright the future of bitcoin, after segwit will be activated, currently locked-in, the success will be very high, fee will be lower, and the confidence will make the value skyrocket |
