2541  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: July 26, 2021, 01:27:31 PM
there was no covid back in 2018 so the only way to see bullrun to come back is due to halving but now that there is many companies and institutions having BTC in their balance sheets, it may not go how it goes that time. the holders didnt even sell prices below 30k.

so much to profit when you think about BTC price breaking out to its ATH price.
2542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: July 26, 2021, 01:16:52 PM
there was a movie i've watched probably two years ago i think it was the actor kurt russell related to hacking and kidnapping so its picturing cryptocurrency as a tool for criminals instead to collect ransom.  this is what the governments message for all.

but gradually now its waking up people from what they dont want them to know. its now making governments crawling fof answers because they actually dont have but to adopt.

if there is a movie for BTC, its best to have famous actors too but sort of a docu.
One of the stories depicted from film related to bitcoin is that bitcoin is used as a medium of exchange for criminal act such as kidnapping with a ransom of bitcoin. I really don't think it's good for bitcoin while we hope that bitcoin's portrayed as a useful asset not only used in criminal case. I don't know if there are other element that lead to the message to the public that bitcoin is an asset that has a much greater potential for criminal activity. Obviously I don't like it because fiat is the currency criminals used before.

a documentary type of movie where some popular BTC investors will be part of it like Max Keiser or Pompiliano and then Bukele down to freedom fighters and whistleblowers because it will create a narrative that Bitcoin will be the answer for history not to keep repeating. its about breaking the chain.

2543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 26, 2021, 01:08:56 PM
We were always in a bull market. But if we talk in short terms it's too early to say. Today is a good day but we need to see what's gonna happen next to understand the situation.

the spike of price is really very sudden, i dont wanna put all my usdt at once so i was just picking the altcoins i once been holding like the VET and will just sit back.

BTC price hasnt touched the peak yet basing to the chart indicators. i'm gonna hope it will dip back again for a moment.
if they say this is due to the amazon news, it must be true. Jeff Bezos is buying kickstarted a bullrun. 😁
2544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: July 26, 2021, 12:52:46 PM
Hollywood is still very hesitant about making a movie about it because clearly most of them don't understand the technology

2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: July 25, 2021, 07:43:05 AM
~
With Robson Conceicao a gold medalist in the Olympics, this may be enough to sell some tickets though but pro boxing and Olympic boxing is very different from each other so we can expect Oscar to demolish Robson come fight night.

Agreed, the amateur boxing is different from pro one, and definitely, Robson is underdog in the coming bout. IMO,  Robson should  extensively train a chin protection otherwise he will  fall early.  The trick  that might work for him is  steadily  backward movement, face down, facing opponent to avoid punching attack into the head. I'm waiting TKO from Oscar in the second half of the fight.

history says both of them are gold medalists in Olympics. both must be trained hard already before going to the proboxing. Conceicao, however, seems to have fewer fights but has a shot to fight against Valdez for the super featherweight title. great opportunity really.

these boxers are very achievers you can tell by their records. Conceicao 8 win fights all by way of KO. Valdez has 29 fights and 23 by KO!

2546  Economy / Economics / Re: On Cuba and economy on: July 25, 2021, 07:01:26 AM
In Cuba the protests are due to a cry for freedom.

That's what I've said before. You live in Venezuela, right?

Those I see praising the Cuban regime I would send to spend a little time there, but not with the politicians there, who live very well, but with the common people. They were going to get a taste of the good life there.

Above I was asking something else, too. Cnut237 was saying that the US has not intervened in Cuba because it has no oil. And this is something I find hard to believe because if oil were the reason they would have intervened in Venezuela many years ago.

The question was for Cnut237 but I am interested in the opinion of anyone else as well.

Well, the US has had a lot of interventions in Venezuela, just not always militarily.  The US continues to put sanctions on the country and also was recognized an opposition politician as the rightful leader of the country after the last election.  Both of these are interventions aimed to regime change, just not a military intervention.  The US has had repeated interventions in Cuba of the same nature, the sanctions are aimed at forcing Cuba to open up the government and become more democratic.  In that case, it's obviously not about oil because there is none.

those sanctions jeopardized their freedom.

authoritarian leaders in Latin American countries don't sound authoritarian when they are sanctioned. if they really have the guts, they should trade elsewhere, they are already sanctioned, nothing to lose already. they should be trading and open their country to all businesses more often and the vast region is full of resources, literally untouched.
2547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is this a good divide? thanks on: July 25, 2021, 06:32:24 AM
then what do you suggest?

I suggest digging A LOT deeper than only knowing the surface-level knowledge of these cryptocurrencies. Investing in general(at least doing it properly), takes a lot of time and work.

uhh how would i do that?

by waiting. Cheesy

you should have given more for BTC. it's all up to you though. Bitcoin still is the most lucrative coin there is. some investors only go for altcoins is because there is Defi and staking on it which the investors could multiply their tokens. you haves given so much for cardano. it hasn't had anything to this project yet. but you know an altcoin has to go up to $100 before investors wouldn't give importance to it. and it still has something to do with waiting.
2548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you'll Sale bitcoin on today? on: July 24, 2021, 01:47:13 PM
For almost a full day I pay attention to the price of bitcoin, and still survive around the price of $33000. I don't see that there will be a significant change to go up. Will you still survive the market conditions like this? Confusing.

What is so confusing, the market is on a rebound right now, almost reaching $34k from the lows that we have lows that we have last week at $29k. So there's nothing to complain about as the price is steadily climbing and it is back from the last dip.

But as far as significant changes, we have been trading sideways for more than two months now. So no surprising that if we ever reach $33k-$34k we might experience another sideways until there will be a  break out run.

probably because there are resistance along the way up, if it doesn't break out today maybe in the next few days but it doesn't look confusing after all it's not yet reached the peak on its daily time frame. its not yet a good time to sell but i'd be wary after this weekend. i'd like to believe we are retracing back uptrend once again. despite altcoins not showing lots of growth.
2549  Economy / Economics / Re: ECB starts 24 month digital euro project. on: July 24, 2021, 01:31:26 PM

5 years is too long. they'd be taken over already by the adoption of stablecoins before they could test out to one city in their country. Chinese CBDC may have already spread out in a matter of months even in Africa.

It's interesting that the general view of the UK differs so much from within Europe as opposed to from outside Europe. Certainly they seem pretty intent on building walls rather than bridges at the moment (metaphorically speaking). As the world becomes more and more interconnected, I'm not sure what they are looking to gain by isolating themselves from it. I've not been paying a huge amount of attention to it recently, but from what news does filter through to me it seems to be driven by some desire to regain the "glory" of the "empire" - Make Britain Great Again nonsense, if you will.

It is my opinion that the UK left the EU not only because the citizens wanted it, but also because the US under President Trump advocated a strong sovereignist policy that greatly influenced the end result. In other words, the US was a very strong factor influencing Brexit whether someone wanted to accept it or not - and we all know that the UK has always been closer to the US than the EU because of the very strong historical ties that may have manifested themselves best in the invasion of Iraq or Afghanistan.

If we go back for a moment in 2016 we can see how it all started.

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, has come out in support of Brexit, saying the UK would be “better off” outside of the European Union and lamenting the consequences of migration in the continent.

what influence Germany this time, because afaik they do have that Dexit plan as well?  i don't think DE are friends with US but when one had successfully cut ties i guess some of them will follow.

2550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I started investing in crypto 4 years ago but recently did I made profits on: July 24, 2021, 11:23:03 AM
...What I've learned at the End is,
1) Find & Follow Credible Experts.
...

The fact that you need to listen to the opinion of influential people is certainly correct. But at the same time, it is not necessary, without proper analysis, to follow their recommendations. You should have your own opinion on what is happening in the market and your own plan for if the market is directed in the opposite direction to your expectations.

sometimes the expectation is reached, sometimes not. i followed a reputable investor too and turnout to be a good investment for me. i regret investing in the end because i didn't buy a lot of it. i'm sure defi projects are pretty good when behind it are reputable people as well.

i'm however not fond of staking so i sold it during its ATH. if i didn't sold it i probably regret as well because right now the price dips. i couldn't say i'd buyback but SOVRYN had dip hard. it was a good project actually. still the price is better than its presale price.

2551  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: July 24, 2021, 07:20:37 AM

how are they going to prevent a wallet from sending to another wallet?  if they mean miners won't be able to verify their tx then this is getting very centralized.

there is nothing yet in the article so we'd have to wait for an update of this fud. but it is probably just within their LN channel, outside it, you still can do send how much you want. the proposal seems worse than the communist party.
2552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Data PROVES It: The Wealthy Were BUYING, As Amateurs Sold In Fear... on: July 23, 2021, 02:20:11 PM
Good thing that I am not some newbie in this business, I know how they are going to maneuver/manipulate the market so I continue to hold and accumulate because I know that what the whales are drawing is that they want to shake off the panic sellers so the prices can further go down and then they can finally buy back what they have sold in profit.

The difference with the beginners, they are dependent on the income from trading, while the whales are not, they have 1000 alternatives to make a profit out there. So whenever they want Bitcoin price to go down he will be ready to take part at any price. Take advantage of market conditions when beginners feel the price collapse.

even the ones who are not whales can participate in the trading though and if they see the price had reached its heights, they will sell and see if they could buy after. some of those who sold this time are out of fear believing the price will still drop.

when it somehow tried the breakout below $30K, it must have been very disappointing for them while the price bounces back up. and now they are not sure whether to buy at $32k or wait.
2553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Fibonacci Retracement on: July 23, 2021, 12:50:04 PM
Yes it's not always perfect as the price sometime breaks out of the resistance or support levels but that's what stop losses are for, aren't they?
Support and resistance areas with Fibonacci retracement give more accurate results, but all these indicators should be used together and not separately.
You must use several indicators so that they support each other.

Most technical analysis is based on price information, but price action trading is about looking at prices directly, typically as represented on candlestick charts.
Normally, prices tend to take charts and by analyzing these charts using technical analysis tools, we get a kind of prediction that helps us in making a decision. Again, they are tools that help to make decisions when there is uncertainty and do not mean a guaranteed profit.

this tool is one of my references to get the purchase price. I like it best when the price enters the 50-61.8 area. in this situation usually the price will reverse direction, but indeed not all of these plans will work, sometimes the price will break through it quickly, therefore we can anticipate it with a cutloss at the boundary of the area we draw
However, using it with support and resistance levels and trading volumes gives good results in the medium and long term.

that's just what we can do with Fibonacci, identifying the support and resistance from the lowest point to the peak. this is how i understood the indicator the basis of it is the golden ratio of 51 degrees. i personally think the indicator is not to be used in the 4hour chart but on a daily or longer.

there are tons of fibonacci indicators on tradingview though. which one do you recommend using?
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 10:54:20 AM
gamblers won't stop though even if you explain this to them. they are already fixed on beating the system and bring the house down.  the house always wins that's why it makes sense to join the house thru the bankroll if they have this feature.

wives always win when you messed up, and it's true because the government created the laws only for them under any circumstances you lose money and even the kid's custody.
2555  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: July 23, 2021, 09:42:21 AM

Obviously, the Salvador government is not ready yet.
1. Infrastructure: mobile phones, network and other equipment
2. The government should deal with people's doubts (such as how to calculate prices, how to weaken the impact of currency price fluctuations on prices, etc.)

wasn't Bitcoin just an option for them but they still could use the dollar. and their app i believe has stablecoin in it which they could immediately convert their BTC if they hate the volatility and besides they didn't completely reject the USD. BTC is just their option, they don't have to make it a problem. what do they do then if the price starts going up are they also going to blame because of volatility? the survey was conducted on 1233 people. nice representation of the country.
2556  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-07-21] Bitcoin and Ethereum take a hit after EU proposes anti-terror crypt on: July 22, 2021, 11:57:24 AM
Since the source is website for gaming (not cryptocurrency) and doesn't tell much, i have 2 question,
1. Does it affect non-custodial and open-source cryptocurrency wallet?
2. Will authority take any action against non-custodial and open-source cryptocurrency wallet (such as block their website)?

that would be troublesome if these noncustodial wallets or open-source wallets will be clampdown by authorities so they'd be obligated to ask KYC from its users.

It's always about terrorism that they could force companies to do all things as if they have really shown us proof that there really are terrorists paying BTC for whatever weapons they bought. Terrorists are not dumb to see bitcoin is leaving traces on the ledger.
2557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on: July 22, 2021, 10:38:42 AM

there aren't so many of them since they are only 26. i'm not very familiar with the project if you mean those Square, BLockFi and the likes, then it's very centralized. there are yields to earn it's the trust that you will worry about because they are going to ask KYC but its true that they are getting attention to investors.

if there is one Bitcoin DEFI i would suggest it's the Sovrign. it's not very popular despite its marketing in the forum but it's working great. it's working on RSK platform.

2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 22, 2021, 09:51:27 AM
If you are constantly thinking about it then it could be a sign of addiction. Gambling addicts will find ways to gamble, even without money, I know some people who would even sell their phone, jewelry or even borrow money just to gamble. My aunt even had to sell her house to pay her gambling debts. Gambling addiction could bring you financial problem as well.
I have friends and relatives that did that. They sold things that they own and then promised to buy it back because they're just in need. They give a different reason so that people would pity them and will have no second thought of buying those goods that they sell. But the main reason is that they're selling it because they've lose in gambling and they're thinking of gambling again to recover what has been lost to them.

I don't want to judge them I guess they are too much getting addicted once they won in gambling and psychologically they want to earn back their losses the reason why they sell all of their stuff. If they sell just to pay their debt on gambling I guess this is the last option they can make but they need to sacrifice those needs on their life to survive but if those items sold just to play another gambling this is not a good idea again always the house wins the game. Too bad if they sell just to gambling again its feel sad.

some gamblers got into gambling because of winning large sums during their first time. and then they wanna do it again thinking they could earn from gambling without working anymore like it's their source of income. got addicted after trying to get back the loss.  whether you tell them the house always wins, it's not their concern anymore because in their mind they won a big sum during their first try.

the lucky ones learned the lessons early and recover from addiction by simply stopping but the ones who go deeper hit rock bottom. sometimes homeless living under the las vegas sewers.

2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 22, 2021, 08:25:26 AM
Ohhhhh, dammit, I was really drunk last night, my head was drowning in a pussy, so I made some members in this forum unable to sleep, due to my post wrongly writing 'boxer' and 'bettor'.

Now i'm sober and my memory is back to normal, and i see this reply, really, what should I do with the spelling of that word, boxers and bettors, should I contact the mod/admin, and tell them I made a typo, should I create a topic across the boards provided on this forum and write, sorry I wrote wrong, damn it.
Lol you can simply Edit your Posts and Send PM's to those who quoted you for editing also  Grin

That will save your time and effort as you already admit Being Drunk while creating the post.

I am also at some point does this action but luckily that time No one quoted my post so i only edit it in the morning.

Just a piece of Advice , Never Post when you believe being total drunk Hahaha.

I am still for Inoue on this Fight .

i'm sure both of them also bet for themselves whoever they fight with. so basically they are also bettors. Grin
there still is no date for the rematch, some articles are telling that it could be by the year-end. but with the delta variant, things may change.

there are boxers complaining about vaccine passports, Sunny Edwards made his complaint a trend for threatening to retire due to vaccine passports. this passport will also make it hard for organizing events.

2560  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Start A Cryptocurrency Exchange Step-by-Step on: July 21, 2021, 01:51:04 PM
Location is key. Binance issues with UK regulation shows how some countries are better for operating crypto exchanges than others.

"How to get your crypto coin listed on an exchange" is probably a hot topic at the moment. It is rumored some alt coins paid respectable amounts of money to exchanges, to have their coins listed and supported.

Crypto exchanges are a competitive industry. It could help to have a different format, good design, unique options and terms offered to clients. Something to give it a head start advantage against the competition.

There is also a rich history of crypto exchanges to research and learn from. MTGOX to BTC-E were around before coinbase or binance and have many interesting stories to tell.
It is not rumored, I have talked with so many exchanges for 3 different coins and I basically know the prices of many places. Hotbit and the likes all get money to list your coin but they have requirements outside of that as well. For example if you want your coin to be listed on hotbit, then you need to have a volume of 3k+ dollars per day, if you do not have that for 3 weeks then you are going to get delisted.

This is just one example, outside of Binance I have talked with many places. This is not just centralized places neither, if you have 250k+ liquidity on token-bnb pair cake also lists you, if you have 50k token-bnb pair apeswap lists you as well, all has to be on their router of course. So this spread towards that world as well. Long story short there is really nothing we can do to make it stop, it is just something that is unrealistically common at this point and won't stop.

delisting tokens will also make you lose some loyal customers. most of the coins that only have 3k volume are not listed anywhere. you wouldn't want to delist when you are just starting your exchange business.

the business has tight competition, the bigger exchange will eat the smaller ones when they can't build a good reputation which is easily ruined by a hack. despite that many are starting their own exchange. the number of exchanges today on CMC is 384, forex brokers are just 251. big difference even when this is an old market.
