its the validators that will make it centralize because its them who will decide what happens in the network. the validators includes exchanges who also stake huge amount of tokens (e.g. ETH)  such as binance and there are institutions as well like Blackrock.

while we see nothing is wrong about it because they are also part of the network, the SEC considers POS tokens as security which SEC can grab the necks of the validators to do something stupid like choosing which transactions to validate or worse freeze wallets making the network Centralized.

we are hearing those warning from reputable people like chamath palihapitiya and his cohorts. i don't think those guys are lying to us. some of them are prediction recession is coming in the next 6-12 months but some already said we are in recession already.

the prices of commodities and supplies getting low because of lock downs. its likely that we are already in recession giving that there are already protests happening in European countries.

its true that USD is the most used currency today. they news that's coming out everywhere however is not good for USD especially when Saudi Arabia is trying to move away from USD. which explicitly express they are ready to use digital Yuan.

sooner we'd all be worrying not to use Yuan also because fiat system is broken which we all know the rise of BTC is what is preferred not just to fight inflation but as precaution so banks and government can't seize the people's money.

what i think he meant is that he wants to invest in BTC and earn thru it that he can withdraw money to spend for his daily needs. it would make sense for someone with low capital and needs to provide for himself to survive. this can be done in leverage trading. but him being a newbie, it will be very difficult to achieve without much trading experience. his best way of getting more profit is to hold for long term. as for his daily spending, he needs a job.

we invest in BTC where regulators can't control though. if crypto industry is just too little and not popular today, the authorities wouldn't really care about it as they will just see BTC as internet money meant for gambling. we're just find without regulations.

its only the institutions that needs the regulations which they can ask to be bailed out like what happened to Celsius and the likes.

its easier to roll out an online casino and can massively advertised to all without having to worry since owners can be unknown. a land case casino will likely be want to have their own digital casino too, this is way easier to promote online for they can build trust easy. but its unlikely to see online casino planing to have their own physical casino, that's too much of a work for nerds who just want to sit and work smart online.
