2561  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is it possible to guess my seed phrase if I get multiple Master Keys with it? on: September 13, 2022, 08:48:14 PM
Any public key like a master public key can not be able to use to guess the right seed phrase of your wallet. What you need to protect is the master private key and seed phrase(Both of them must be saved in a safe place) because these keys and phrases are your backup key for recovering your wallet.
So if your purpose is to guess the seed phrase of someone's wallet then you have 0.01% to guess a seed phrase wallet.

2562  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: We made software for bitcoin users to keep track of their transactions for taxes on: September 12, 2022, 11:57:56 PM
The link of the software that you said we can try out is not accessible it needs an account before you can able to use them.

Do you have any Demo accounts? So that we can test the sheet?

Honestly, we have a free Crypto tax report if you want to track all your crypto transaction for tax purposes, I just want to check your own sheet if it is better than the tool that I use from this https://cointracking.info/tax/
2563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is bitwemix real on: September 12, 2022, 11:44:22 PM
Never heard of this website before and it was just created this year and registered on Namecheap which we know that we can add any details we want if you deposit bitcoin to buy a domain and hosting on Namecheap.

Code:
Domain:bitwemix.com
Registrar:NameCheap, Inc.
Registered On:2022-01-09
Expires On:2023-01-09
Updated On:2022-06-07

So it's risky to deal with new website with no reputation yet that you can hear here on the forum review sites is not enough to say that this website is legit always make sure to ask them here so that we can give you some insight if the site you are trying to access is safe or not.
Also reported as "phishing" on by Kapersky AV via VirusTotal: virustotal - results

I tried to access the site but Kaspersky does not allow me to access the website this is the result below after trying to enter the site.

Data leakage threat which I think like you said Phishing.
2564  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Recycle uses of the heat from mining equipment. on: September 12, 2022, 10:11:49 PM
I think if you have a garden and you love plants and lovers then you can also use the heat from ASIC miner to heat the room to keep the room of your garden warmer. we know cold places like Canada the plants can not survive in cold places so having an ASIC miner can help heat the garden and it can also cut your Electricity than having a normal heater which consumed the same as a miner.

And I saw more from this link below that you can recycle the heat and use it for other things like wood drying and also for water heating.

2565  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Is there a way to disable one hashboard on Whatsminer M30s? on: September 12, 2022, 09:47:35 PM
Hi, I have the same problem (Error Code 542). I took it out the SM2 Hashboard, and now the miner is mining (66%), but I notice the fan-in and fan-out speed are faster than before. Do you have the same problem? Can you repair the hashboard?. Thank you in advance.

On that error code, I think it's related to an ASIC Chip and maybe one of the Chip is broken. Did you get this error after you remove the hashboard? Or did you get this error with or without the SM2 hashboard as you said?

If you get the error after the hashboard is removed then try to replug the other hashboard and check the cable if it was plugged properly then test it again.

But if you receive the error with or without the hashboard then find the broken hashboard that cause that issue and remove it and then you can look for a repair center near you from this link below.

2566  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining Machines and ASICs (Hardware) on: September 12, 2022, 04:05:55 PM
Why not just use a tool like this one https://www.asicminervalue.com/efficiency/sha-256
And then you can compare all ASIC miners and one click and you can also see what is more profitable than the other units.

The other thing is that units from Bitmain are a bit expensive compared to Canaan units I don't know about Whatsminer or MicroBT it seems I can't access their website anymore and I think it is more expensive than Bitmain and Canaan units.

Why not add the price from your Comparison so that it would be more useful to newbies who found this thread?
2567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Crypto safe on: September 12, 2022, 02:43:41 PM
Actually, no one mentioned here about what wallet and where you can hold that Crypto in a safe place. If you are planning to hold a big amount of Crypto or tokens for the long term the only safest way to hold them is to buy a hardware wallet like ledger nano.

And take note like others said be careful if you buy a Crypto not all Crypto can be the same as Bitcoin most of the new Crypto are dying quickly only buy a Crypto which is already been here for a very long time and the top 20 coins on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko. That's a good start for a newbie until you learn more about analyzing a coin/token.

If the full money you talking about is all of your savings then I suggest don't risk them if you don't know well how Crypto works. Better do some research first before you going to invest little by little except by buying bitcoin holding them for the long term gives you a chance to make a profit in the future.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to save USDT and BUSD on binance for long term? on: September 11, 2022, 11:56:10 PM
A Binance wallet is not good for holding coins in the long term if you want long-term holdings then transferring and having a hardware wallet is the safest way to hold USDT or any coins.

Should I send all of my usdt and busd into my desktop electrum wallet for long term savings?

Like the above said Electrum only support Bitcoin so you need to trade them into Bitcoin and transfer them out to Electrum just make sure that you write the seed backup on the piece of paper physically or save it digitally on an offline machine and never expose the backup to the online machine for safety.
2569  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining alogorithm on: September 11, 2022, 11:36:43 PM
I'm sure gamers will hate Bitcoin because if Bitcoin becomes mineable again with CPU then the price of CPUs on the market will skyrocket, so no gamers or builders can able to buy it that is they evolve to ASIC which is a very unique chip that can only be used for mining Bitcoin and remove CPU or old tech to balance the world.

2570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: cheapest and safest way to buy bitcoin on: September 11, 2022, 11:20:16 PM
Does it seem it is not allowed to use Payoneer to crypto according to the response from Payoneer? According to a previous comment from the source link below the Payoneer card is generally permitted but I don't understand this response below.

This is what they said:

Quote
However, receiving funds to your Payoneer account relating to crypto is not permitted.
Source: https://community.payoneer.com/en/discussion/comment/209209/#Comment_209209

That's why I think no exchanges accept this Payoneer payment unless you find someone who accepts Payoneer payments privately.
2571  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Split: How to create an Electrum wallet on Android on: September 11, 2022, 02:30:31 PM
I think OP should get rid of the save your backup phrase altogether and only mention that the seed should be backed up physically on paper or metal. When you say save it, it sounds like you are making a digital copy of it on your computer or mobile phone. Recovery phrases should not be backed up in that way ever.
Agree but you can save it digitally just make sure you generated the seed phrase offline and never expose your backup to any devices that connected to the internet.
Actually, there is no 100% safe both of them have a risk it always depends on us on how we protect our backup.
2572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Binance giving more Apr in fixable staking (saving) than locked staking? on: September 10, 2022, 11:58:41 PM
Actually, it's not staking its savings both flexible and locked are saving if you trying to understand these better go to Binance FAQ here below
- https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/c-140?navId=140

They have flexible and locked savings and they also have locked staking and Defi staking.
Savings gives you less APY compared to staking but take note of those staking coins most of the coins there are new so there is a big chance it will die early even if the reward is big you will still sell the token/coins at a very cheap price due to the price drop of that coin/token.
2573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Corrupt wallet.dat recovery options on: September 10, 2022, 11:37:35 PM
Would you mind to try to salvage the wallet.dat let's see if you can still recover some private keys from the corrupted wallet.dat.

-salvage is now in Bitcoin-wallet.exe you can find this tool under Bitcoin/daemon and you must run the command prompt as administrator and make sure you are in the same folder to run salvage.
2574  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Is firmware worth it for small timers? on: September 10, 2022, 10:56:48 PM
i recommend hiveon asic firmware which have high efficient and only give 2$ per month which is acceptable if you see the advantages of customization like you can adjust the clocks of asic chips individually and have highest efficiency at this time when the market is struggling .

That's pretty expensive compared to the other OS above. If you earn $38 for an s9 miner with OS like Braiins the 2% is around $0.76 or even other OS mentioned above are not so expensive except Hiveos which is $2 per month.

But according to hiveos if you use HiveOn ASIC firmware than their HiveOS client it's free the $2/month is only for people who don't want to use their OS.
2575  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is the volume of mixers from this site is accurate? on: September 09, 2022, 11:23:46 PM
I write : best bitcoin mixers 2022
in google.
This is really the problem, the power of SEO.

That's the problem of Google SERP old blackhat SEO still works look I already check it on Ahrefs backlinks checker and most of the backlinks are low quality.
And you will be noticed most of the backlinks and anchor text under hyperlinks target the keyword "best bitcoin mixers" it ranks in the top 2 on the SERP if you add 2022, it also targets other keywords but those keywords are not yet rank to the top.

I'm sure it was just built for Churn and burn so later if Google/Penguin update finds out that they manipulate the Google rankings they are automatically outranked and removed from the Google SERP. It doesn't even have a cookie policy and privacy policy which is obvious it was built for scamming purposes.

I hope OP does not own the website because he put the link above it will also help to rank up on Google having backlinks here on the forum has a big impact on SEO and I'm sure the owner of the website has lots of experienced in Blackhat SEO using GSA.
2576  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Guide] Easy to build bitcoin ATM - Includes Bill Collector on: September 09, 2022, 10:51:18 PM
I like the bill acceptor it's cool I saw it on their youtube unlike the coin acceptor because the coin acceptor can be easily bypassed compared to the bill acceptor.

Having this outside in your home is too risky but if Ben can improve the design and the money storage more securely maybe without looking for Bank partners this is a good alternative to sell Bitcoin locally in your area.

Look at this one below it is more secure but the money storage is transparent which may attract thieves it could be more secure if it's a metal box.

2577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin telegram on: September 09, 2022, 10:28:55 PM
This is not what OP asked for, if she/he wanted reading, she/he would ask for specifically that. What is the purpose of your post? Is that your signature campaign requirement, to write some BS everyday?

What exactly is BS in my post? Does it seem that you own the telegram group that is why you said I'm BS? I can't even find any useful information from your telegram group related to Bitcoin mining.
And I'm not the same as you who do consecutive posts and promote links.

There is no other best source to learn about mining and Bitcoin only this forum and the links that I posted compared to the link you share. It is obvious you are trying to promote them.
2578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: September 09, 2022, 08:36:18 PM
Mostly bullish season started after block halving but right now it's hard to predict when will be the next bullish season.

The movement price today is different compared to the past.

However, you can monitor and analyze the current price movement if your purpose is to make a profit you can buy then sell later.

And actually, no one knows what will be the next price of BTC. If you don't know how to analyze the market there is a source with full of guides where you can learn about TA and FA here https://github.com/SpiralDevelopment/Awesome-Crypto-Trading
2579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Call and sync your Bitcoin Core wallet on: September 08, 2022, 11:48:59 PM
Found this library of documents.  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/API_reference_(JSON-RPC).  Is it enough that I choose the appropriate language and put it in the application?  Or are there other steps?

What exactly do you want to achieve?
You can use RPC commands if you are building software or something with c# you can check all RPC commands here https://developer.bitcoin.org/reference/rpc/

For more technical knowledge about Bitcoin or building your own software with full node then check this link below it includes c# libraries and guides.

2580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good trading software for Windows or Linux? on: September 08, 2022, 11:33:26 PM
Have you tried to check TradingView the desktop version? Check them here https://www.tradingview.com/desktop/
The only problem they only support a few exchanges.

Another old trading software that I know is Cryptowat.ch the desktop one they do support Binance and a few exchanges you can download the software here
- https://cryptowat.ch/apps/desktop
Then the guide on how to add exchange here https://guides.cryptowat.ch/connect-exchange-accounts

How about zenbot? It doesn't have a graphical interface like other software above it's a pure command-line interface but it's free.
