Dash is currently at $927, so i actually think it will pass $1000 this year. But anything is possible in the cryptoworld. Maybe Bitcoin gets another big rise, which puts pressure on the altcoins or maybe new money is flowing into altcoins in general. If you look at coinmarketcap a lot of cryptocurrencies show a strong rise today, while Bitcoin itself is still in the green. To me this indicates at least some new money is flowing into certain altcoins.

UNSTOPPABLE That reminded me of the old Unreal Tournament games Wow, it is absolutely mind blowing that Dash has the $1000 target within reach. That would effectively make each masternode owner a USD millionaire. What a great year it has been soar and what possibilities lay ahead for 2018! Congratulations to the entire Dash community!! Killing Spree !!

Dash is not untraceable and they dont want to be untraceable as far as i know komodo also has a good tool to make transaction untracable even better than zcash and monero monero traceable according to some FUD :p didnt see real proof
Actually Dash is untraceable if users want it to be (its an optional choice) and if they mix with enough rounds (i recommend at least 4 rounds of mixing, 8 rounds of mixing is max number of rounds and offers strongest privacy). Dash users can also choose to use totally traceable transactions, just like Bitcoin.

Is monero, zcash and dash all of them using a private blockchain? because based on my research monero is using a private blockchain to protect your privacy and make the transaction untraceable that is why monero is so popular i in the darknet world right? But zcash is jclaiming the same thing to make transaction with privacy and untraceable also but they are using a public blockchain how can that be possible? Thanks in advance Well I think Monero is the best coin out there for anonymity but I don't know about zcash. It doesn't offer that much of anonymity when compared with monero. On the other hand, Dash is good too but it ain't the best coin to use to give yourself anonymity on every transactions. As far as I know most of those cryptos offering anonymity like monero and dash does it the same but only differs in speed and traceability. There are also a lot of coins out there offering the same feature as them although they are new or is still in ICO stage. They don´t offer the same. One key difference is Monero is anonymous and private by default while the privacy in Dash and Zcash is optional. I believe this can be subtle but is a key diference making Monero superior on that end. Exactly well said. Many hollywood celebrities are already using monero so the IRS won't be able to trace there income so they won't have to pay higher taxes. Those many (or few, depending who you ask) Hollywood celebrities are not using Monero to avoid paying higher taxes, they use it as publicity stunt or to attract more users. Do not think using an anonymous cryptocurrency will fool the IRS, they have tools available to get the information they want or need : https://pocketsense.com/irs-monitor-bank-accounts-9978.html Attempts to deceive the IRS can carry heavy fines and even a potential jail sentence, depending on the severity. I am myself involved with an anonymous cryptocurrency (Dash), but i fully intend to pay the necessary taxes, the risks (severe fines, jailtime) outweigh the rewards (paying less taxes).

The King and Queen of high fees, slow transaction confirmation times and a thoroughly congested network, i agree.

Dashcoin launched on 2014 Considerable interest in this new currency arose from the start. In 2015 the DASH price hasn’t changed a lot. The project. The current value of Dashcoin in 2017 has been reduced to $ 534, and it is expected to increase in the future.
Current price of Dash : $713,99

Looks like we have a little Dash price break out ... and maybe, just maybe the start of a new longterm uptrend :
|
|

Zcash : you have to trust that their "trusted safe setup" is really as safe as they claim it is Monero : had traceability problems for the first two years, before getting an update that fixed that Dash : has optional privacy that has never been broken, but is somewhat slow in use because it relies on other participants who need to be mixing at the same time as you
In the end i think Zcash & Monero are the two cryptocurrencies that focus solely on privacy. Dash on the other hand focus on making itself a peer-to-peer digital cash system (fast, secure payments with low fees) and offers optional privacy.

Here is my advice of the day : be wary of red bulls

Although there are a lot of Bitcoin Scams, I think Ethereum probably has it beat by a narrow margin ... and as others have said, it's not Ethereum getting hacked, it fake wallets, phishing scams, and the infamous DAO contract flaws.
Their DAO got hacked, resulting in a reversal of transactions by Euthereum dev team in order to fix it. That directly undermines a core element of cryptocurrencies that should not be interferred with : the immutability of its transactions.

Dash is likely to take one of the key positions as it has programmatic advantages and a good marketing strategy and I think it has every chance of becoming the currency of the future: decentralization, anonymity and a high level of protection. It has already shown growth after the upgrade, and I think this is not the limit
I think 2018 will be as interesting for Dash, as 2017 .... specially as Dash Evolution (major Dash update) will take shape in 2018. Link : https://www.dash.org/evolution/

I have just over one DASH AND it is sitting nicely as part of my very long term portfolio. I think DASH is also set to be the cryptocurrency used in the medicinal marijuana trade as well from next year, so this could be very huge for the currency itself and for more people adopting it and using it.
Yeah i agree, i think the integration of Dash with ALT36 into the legal cannabis industry will boost Dash core function : to be used as a peer-to-peer digital cash system (what Satoshi originally envisioned for Bitcoin)

Perhaps I'm wrong but I believe that only Bitcoin will be cryptocurrency of the future. Only Bitcoin showed itself like a stable currency which could adapt to market conditions. I don't deny that Dash can also become the currency of the future but now I do not see in it such opportunities.
A currency that has high fees ($6 or higher) and long confirmation times (hour or longer) is not really a functional currency. It is not a currency you can use to buy a cup of coffee with, the high fees and long confirmation time works against that. Instead it is a value of store (digital gold). Maybe the Lightning Network will change that in the future but that is a big maybe, with a lot of centralized aspects to it....

Hello. I like that Firas Zahabi (tristar Gym and trainer of GSP) wants to use Dash for his BJJ Tournament and other things. They also have giveaways where you can win DASH. Is Dash scalable if alot of people use it?
Cheers
Dash is in the middle of a blocksize upgrade (from 1MB to 2MB) and a lowering of the fees (both should be complete after +/- 1100 blocks). Link : https://www.dash.org/2017/11/09/financialmagnet.htmlThis means Dash is well set to scale if a lot of people start using it. Dash also has a detailed roadmap towards further scaling up : https://github.com/dashpay/dash-roadmap
