261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: July 11, 2020, 07:01:23 AM
If you look at coinmarketcap, you will notice that almost all old coins lose their value and are replaced by new "promising" shitcoins!
So I see no point in holding coins for a long time...
The only project that I have more than two years is Komodo! True, sometimes I trade it on the exchange and try to maximize the number of coins!
Yeah it is true, there are many promising coins before that doesn't have value anymore. Remember when the bull market happen last 2017? Most of the altcoins are making all time high but look at its price now, most of them doesn't have volume and value anymore. I still have a lot of shitcoins in my old wallet but it doesn't matter anymore to me because I accepted it already. I make a mistake by not selling those altcoins when its price is still in the peak.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 11, 2020, 05:48:52 AM
India is not the only country that has plans to ban Chinese apps, other countries like the U.S might as well be banning Chinese social media apps. I have been seeing it on the news and the particular app they have been advising people to stop making use of is the TikTok app.The reason being that there is the possibility of them using the app to harvest data from people. I really don’t see anything wrong with that. If a country feels like they shouldn’t allow some applications to be running in their country, then they should ban it. And I have heard that these Chinese apps requests and access information that they are not meant to, so they might be really bad.

Trump is now often saying to his speech that China will be responsible for what happened all over the world. The U.S is not only the country who suffered because of the virus but major economies all over the world collapsed. There is currently recession in world economy and ot results to the increase of job unemployment rates.  The tensions between China and other country is rising and there are now a lot of foreign companies based on China are now leaving and transferring to other countries because of what happened.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those reliable exchanges on the market on: July 11, 2020, 04:44:47 AM
Binance gets the vote for me, CZ is really doing a good job making this the best platform for crypto users. Of course, someone will argue that this is debatable, but personal experience tells me that they are just above the rest of the exchanges today.

Those next in the list will do a lot of effort to even get even with Binance as far as activity and platform evolution. Binance is all over the Asian market and their next target will be Africa, one of the biggest if not the biggest market. So Just imagine if they can get a piece of that huge pie, another billion profits for CZ.
There are a lot of reliable and trusted exchanges out there so it is really depends on what kind of trader are you where what you really after and what are you seeking. Binance is really a good exchange and I also managing portfolio there. Their CEO is doing a great job and many traders are using that platform because of its high market capitalization and also because of its good liquidity. I also using OKEX but my fund there is only small and I only using it in swing setups in trading.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Revolution or Evolution ? on: July 11, 2020, 03:42:01 AM
In my opinion Bitcoin revolution because it managed to make a breakthrough in the world of finance and economy, and make people change
their perspective. And this surprised many parties, especially the government and banks who were not ready to accept the presence of Bitcoin.
Why so many people began to support Bitcoin and the popularity of Bitcoin is also increasing, because of the decentralized Bitcoin that gives
freedom to control their own finances without third party interference. That is what most people want.
The unique features of the bitcoin is the reason why it became so popular, a lot of major institutions and influencer are now starting to adopt it because of it decentralized characteristics.
As time passing by, people around the world began to understand and accept bitcoin as currency. The current payment system is starting to improve because of the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 02:34:48 AM
New cryptocurrencies have different risks so it is not good to conclue that all of them have high risks. Anyway in order for you to identify a specific coin if it is risky or not, is simply by being aware on your intellectual capacity. If you do not have enough knowledge on it then it is risky investment but if you know it then you can minimize the risks and you can able to protect and grow your capital. If you want to invest in new cryptocurrency, make sure that it had high market capitalization and high liquidity in order for you to get in and out in the market easily.
266  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: July 11, 2020, 01:31:14 AM

Pababain ang rate ng mahhirap ng ma afford lahat or mostly ng smartphones to have their wallet inside their phones or any device na pwede magamit as  e-wallet.
For sure na experience niyo na rin mawalan o magloko yung internet niyo then kapag tinawag niyo sa customer support nila, i eentertain naman nila pero it will take a lots of days or even months para maayos yung connection.

267  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you feel safe going outside? on: July 10, 2020, 12:04:54 PM
It is sad to say that the virus is keep spreading and there are now a lot of people who are affected all over the world. Of course there are fear among us whenever we go outside because our enemy which is the virus is invisible and we cannot identify if there are people outside who are asymptomatic wherein they are infected with the virus even though there is still no clear symptoms. There are some people who thinks it is just some kind of joke and it is really sad because this kind of topic should be treat as serious matter because our lives are on the line.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what you getting into on: July 10, 2020, 09:31:09 AM
Just because someone here say a particular coin is useless before doesn't mean that it won't progress and is not worthy to invest. You  can see dogecoin for example, it was laughed by many investors because it just came from a joke and meme but look at that coin now. Many are still holding and investing into it that makes that coin still surviving until now.

While other coins seems to be shitcoin until now, but there are plenty of crypto coins out there that was misjudged but still has potential.

This is why it's important to make your own research! You can decide to trust some project now, where team members are
working hard, and that project can be great in the future. There're people who give advantage to well-established coins, and I
understand that, but there are small projects with great ideas, they need more development, they need more supporters, but
it's why their price is low, but with time more people will join, the project will be better and the price will rise. The same happened
to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all others, in the beginning all of them were small at first.
That is the reason why we should invest in our knowledge first before we put our money in some investments out there. I'm sure that you heard that many people lose their money in some investments or in trading not just because of the risks but because they do not have enough knowledge about what they are doing. They are just putting their money and praying that it will go up easily.

The only one who can help us to have higher chance of success and handling the risks carefully is ourselves. In order to protect our capital and in order to grow it, we should invest on our skills and in our knowledge for us to welcome new ideas that we can use.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 10, 2020, 08:25:00 AM
I observed that most of the people who lose a lot of money in the market, are the people who are usually have a short term mindset where they think that they can easily be rich by just making investment in bitcoin or other altcoins.

We should be aware that success is something that we attract and it requires a long term view and not a poor mindset. It really takes time to have a progress but the time is not what matter because what is matter is we should grow as a trader or as an investor in order to be successful.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: How in the world we going to restart the world economy ? on: July 10, 2020, 07:13:29 AM
Inevitably the government must open quarantine and let its people have normal activities in order to make money. But still
run a health protocol, then the government provides stimulus funding assistance to entrepreneurs. So the economy will run
again, people can get back to work and can make money.
The quarantine showed that many governments cannot handle this kind of crisis, most of the health institution especially the hospital collapsed because of the patients that are continuing to rise because of the covid 19. Most of the entrepreneurs are suffering because they cannot operate due to the lockdown. The economy is reopening in most of the countries because it is important where many people will become jobless and homeless if they will not start working again.

The world economy will recover for sure but it will take a lot of time because most of the people are affected. Most of the countries are having a lot of debts due to the insufficient funds that they need in order to stop the increasing of the infected people.

272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome and Handle Your Mistakes in Trading? on: July 10, 2020, 05:01:54 AM
Learn from your mistake- Use it to step forward and don't stack to it.
I would say learn from others mistakes and that saves time and loss, for example a new trader can learn how to avoid panic selling by looking at others and how they suffered.

Focus on your mistakes- If you're worried about your mistakes, what will you do to avoid it?Focus on what you've done and you'll be taking a productive action.
If you know your mistakes in advance why would you even make them? So mistakes can only be worked upon after you have committed them and so I don't think there is a realistic way of avoiding mistakes unless you see someone else do it or you yourself do it.

The points you mentioned confuse me a little but I have a simple answer for the thread's title

"How to Overcome and Handle Your Mistakes in Trading?" I have a 3 step solution for that

1- Don't make the same mistake again, someone who does the same action and expects different outcome is anything but not a trader.

2- Avoid copying others and distance yourself from copy trading.

3- Implement what you learnt yesterday and do this vigorously until you make a habit of it.
I like what you said, there are a lot of people who are losing in trading because they are making mistakes again and again which caused them to have anxiety where they are making more bad decisions. If we want to avoid the same mistakes that we are doing over and over again, be sure that we journalizing all of our trades. What do I mean by journalizing? it is simply means recording all of your trades in order for you to have an idea what will you do in the near future whenever there is a familiar setup that will form
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 10, 2020, 03:58:45 AM
Both slots and dice this is games for lazy people which don't want to learn something harder (like poker) and don't know even a basic math. On long distance there is no difference to slots or dice - in both of them you will lose your money for sure. I talking about that for a long period of time.

Lazy people? You cant just judge out people just on what are the games theyve been dealing with.Even myself as a poker player i do still have days that i do play slots and dice and i dont consider myself

doesnt know even basic math.So you are just too underestimating up gamblers that do play out such game? You cant force them on the games that they do like since its their money after all and
its none of your business if they do like to play simple games like dice and slots but you cant judge out that they arent good on math.  Cool
It is all about habit and preferences, we cannot conclude that both dice and slots are for lazy people. I think it is a discrimination whenever we say that both of them are just for people who are bored. I doing both slots and dice and for me both are good especially because it gives me excitement and joy whenever I play it. It is also part of my earned income but I am not a super gambler who usually earn daily. There are times that I lost but I often win in both slots and dice.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is safe-haven, why mirror the price movement of the U.S stocks? on: July 10, 2020, 02:48:32 AM
It is really a big mistake if you will treat bitcoin as a safe haven asset because at the first-place bitcoin is so volatile and it already broken one of the characteristics of being a safe haven where its price is stable. There is also no correlation between the price of the bitcoin and the U.S. stocks. IF you will observe the price of the bitcoin today, it is going sideways why some of the U.S. indices are in uptrend and making all time high and 52 weeks highs.
-snip

276  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy suddenly recovering? on: July 10, 2020, 12:41:29 AM
There are a lot of people who are misunderstood the economy of US, yes they are recovering but it will take more years in order for them to recover all of the losses that they incurred. There are a lot of jobs that are been lost because of this pandemic and there are businesses that are now totally closed because they cannot cover their expenses anymore. For those who want to understand the U.S. market more, try to view the bigger picture where you consider the GDP, the Stock market and the business that are currently operating and also if they unemployment rate decrease.

279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: July 09, 2020, 06:19:22 AM
I reckon that the most entertaining fight for the fans might be Ryan Garcia versus Gervonta Davis. They are undefeated and the students of great virtuosos of boxing. Canelo and Floyd Mayweather.
Ryan Garcia is now making name all over the world, try to watch his highlights from his previous fight. Most of the boxers that he defeated are helpless where you can really see the difference of their power inside the ring.

I think it will be a good match between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis if both of the team will agree to this. Both of them are good but for me Garcia has the upper hand. He is training at crazy level and you can see that his agility and speed can easily knockout his opponent.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 08, 2020, 09:58:44 AM
I think it is all about mindset and your goal towards the investment, if you are long term investor who are willing to wait a lot of years just to make profit then it is really boring because you are just waiting the right time to sell it but for those traders, investing in bitcoin is not boring because they doing it actively where they have a short term goal in order to make profit. I do crypto trading and I am a short term trader, I do not get bored because I making money through the swings of the bitcoin using short term time frame.
