Read this quote from David explaining the situation to someone else: "Unfortunately BTER owner is a thief. In addition to the problems we had with them, they also stole millions of btc in a "hack" later, dumped their bay and delisted it. If you want it back you will have to talk to the owner Lin or try filing a ticket or complaint with them. To be honest, i'm shocked the exchange still exists after everything they have done." Lin from BTER screwed us all back then, no doubt about that but, through his tireless efforts and hard work, David has brought BAY back and is taking it into the future with one the most comprehensive feature sets in crypto. I doubt very much you will get anything from Lin, the thief who owns BTER but, you could buy BAY now and reap the rewards in the near future as this project is taking off... Thanks for the quick reply. Real shame that my BAY was basically stolen. Has David any facility to reissue lost funds or did the whole community basically get robbed? Is this a new coin/blockchain or the same one? |

Hey CK, liking the new stats layout, definitely easier to read. I noticed you said some of the bestshare stats are broken, for me it's my bestever stat. It used to be 870,000,000ish and now it's 38,000,000. The problem is that at work we have a bet that if I ever break 1,000,000,000 then we'll order in Domino's pizzas for lunch (and for every 1 bill after that), but with the stat broken I cannot track this  Will my old share come back at a restart? Regarding noise, it's definitely important but I like the previous recommendations you gave for the compac. If it's under X frequency probably no fan, if over X then probably need a fan. I'll be using a fan so noise is not important to me.

Just got shipping notification for the revised Terminus PCBs, only a few days after I expected to already have them in hand. So not too bad. Hopefully they're delivered by week's end and, double hopefully, the new regulator design works as expected.

Anyone have recent stats of people mining here?
Took the dive recently on some S9s. Two purchases 1 , then 2 more. And low-and-behold hit a block on the 1st S9 last week after having it plugged in for ~10 days!!! Kicking myself because I was going back and forth on solo-mining while building a box for the 3 units. Ended up mining on slush... MONGOLIANS!!!!
For the long-time miners here, what are the odds of hitting blocks solo-mining since the halving???

ChangelogVer 1.311/03/17 - The 1.2 changes now display when you enter your CK address.
So for the next update I've been thinking about adding other coins. To keep it simple I was thinking Litecoin and Ethereum? They have to be popular coins as I need certain data feeds and hashrate info. If this isn't wanted I'll just move forward with other ideas I have.
