263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not sure that I get what is happening on the 30th on: January 22, 2014, 06:40:21 PM
I think there's cause to panic about how close to the wind China's biggest exchange is sailing. They've had some pretty unorthodox methods to deposit and some seem to think they're faking their volume.

Having said that it seems virtually impossible to get a straightforward view of what is actually happening there. In this case the information superhighway has failed miserably.

So do Bter and Mtgox also have to abide by these rules since they are run from China?

these are not run or based in China
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Overlooked Technologies That Could Transform The World on: January 22, 2014, 05:58:40 PM

If the masses/people have any sense Bitcoin/cryptos should transform the world and be revolutionary, but unfortunately they don't.

give it time.
look how long it took the Internet to be understood and adopted by the masses and still it hasn't reached its full potential after 20 years.
actually not everyone understands what you can do with the internet still today.

I think it will take much longer for bitcoin to the norm as payment system.  Not to mention many other things bitcoin protocol can do.
265  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: For Sale: KnC Neptune 3 TH, 1st Batch, Pre-order on: January 22, 2014, 05:47:07 PM
Are you willing to escrow and guarantee a delivery date?

I can guarantee that I can ship out the unit the day after it arrives at the very latest.  I can't guarantee KnC's delivery date, because they have not provided me with a guarantee.

Also, if KnC allows me, I will simply change the shipping address, to your address.

I bought a Neptune off some here in the forum and KNC wouldn't entertain change of address, even if you're changing to an existing customer.

don't know why not now, because I did the same thing when I bought a Jupiter last year and they did change it without a problem.

go figure Huh

What is a real exchange? Coinbase is great for getting cash into bitcoin and back again. I use exchanges to trade between currencies, but there really isn't another choice to get $$ out of it.

coinbase was about half-good and now about a quarter-good mainly since only a few options exist for users statewide (as phoenix mentioned)...  OKpay was a nice way to get money into btc-e but they are on hold last I checked..

interesting to see what Circle does when they launch and if kraken ever gets approvals to allow USD from stateside sources

I think OKpay has changed it's mind, well for GBP if you're in the UK.

other good news...

Does anyone else find it strange that the past 3-4 posters support sending in your very personal information and only have >10 posts...

I'm still weighing the consequences over here...
yeah,I also wonder about that, can somebody in Italy have a check out about the lawer, though I really appreciate for the work of visualspade.

jimmy3dita from Italy said he'd volunteer to visit lawyer.

Maybe he could submit his Labcoin information personally and give us an update

I have 2 neptune in february batch pre-order and i'm so nervous!!
I hope price will rise..

what february batch..?  No such thing.

I have Neptune first customer batch 1 and this will not have started production even in february let alone delivered by may or june.. that's 6 months before you see very first Neptunes.

Wow, I just noticed the troll posts. Majorly impaired perception on his end. HYIP or Ponzi schemes and bitcoin pools are as comparable as water and sulphur. There is simply no logic behind the thought, as there are no new 'investments' to be redistributed to older investors on a mining pool and hence no reason to get out when the flow of new investors comes to a halt. I need to go short on bitcoins if we are already at a stage where elementary school kids are hoarding 0.1 btc and consider that an investment.

Ok, sutiation right now - statistics don't work, payouts don't work, pool still use your gh/s... Yes it's not Ponzi (looks closer and closer to death like Ponzi/HYIP) but only stupid continue mining here ! Pool not pay !!!

get lost already you and you ASICminer or what ever USB miner you have, you're polluting this thread.
you are only a 10 day old rookie (and probaly mining for less time than this) who's got no fuckin idea.
If you think this pool is stealing from you (which is the best pool) then you going to have bigger problems at other pools.

Bitcoins and mining isn't for you.  enough already and go to another pool now... NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE... GET IT?

better yet link us to your stats, or is that to embarrassing

KNC should also get into other great bitcoin tech for when miner sales start to decline.

have a look at this from BFL
http://www.butterflylabs.com/bitcoin-hardware-wallet/  I like it... and want one of course, but from BFL Undecided I'll have to wait and see

or what about KNC bitcoin vending machines or ATM's

Some Neptune's are available again !

Do you know how many are available?

EDIT. apparently 170 available

How can you tell?

add 1 to cart and then go into shopping cart and raise amount to over 200 Neptunes and recalculate.  It then shows only 170 available in red below the quantity entered.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 18, 2014, 08:47:14 AM

Now they are no longer available 225 to 0.
No ! I missed the Neptune's  Cry
I got the BTC I needed this morning ...

does anyone know what upgrade modules they are referring to, October modules or November modules?  or both types?

KNC seemed more helpful and informative when they needed us to start up their multi-million dollar business, but now it seems the table has turned and they are playing mind games with us so called loyal customers.  Not very cool KNC

one customer that's bought under my reseller ID is trying to communicate with KNC and he's saying that they are not very friendly or helpful at all.

PS. of course I'll give more time to remember who made them, but if they don't come to the party and continue acting like they are, then 2 can play at that game.
