@Merv77:
When you get your Neptune refund (in $), new Jupiters will be sold out (almost 100% if Knc announces today and starts selling tomorrow).
Do you want to do that?

Cheers,

don't get me wrong... I never wanted refund, and never asked for one.  I have only one Neptune ordered and paid for in first customer only batch and I wouldn't want to lose that.
I just remember someone (or two) here actually posted just after announcement of 'Jupiters going on sale by KNC and asking us to keep coins handy' that they had put in for a refund of one or two of their multiple Neptune orders.  I think that's what caused KNC to rethink and retract new sales of Jupiters.  These guys know what I'm talking about (I'm going to mention  Wink) and even post here about keeping us posted about outcome of the refund.

I don't really care now, even thou I would of bought a Jupiter or 2 if they were to be sold again.   I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we're gonna see Jupiters any more.

Oh well easy come easy go.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 08, 2014, 08:25:26 AM
when does Neptune refund option end?
it is when they start production, no?
When is that likely to happen? This week, next week, week after?

What I am getting at is when the option for refunds stop/end, that's when we might see Jupiters for sale again.

I think that KNC are not going to sell Jupiters because of some existing customers started asking for Neptune refunds in order to buy Jupiters.

I also think that if there was no option to refund Neptunes then they would have gone ahead and sold more Jupiters.

Didn't a few guys here say they were going to refund their Neptunes to buy more or some Jupiters?  This is what I remember just after KNC announced that they were going to sell Jupiters again and for us to keep some bitcoins handy.

If I was in this business I would stop selling Jupiters also because of the fear of Neptune refunds.  They would make more profit if they just did offer them to us and sell them off privately.

This is just my opinion.

People like OP should be banned from the forum.

unfortunately that's not how this forum works, they never ever delete any scam attempts.. who knows why Huh
This is why so many people get scammed and lose their money or BTC.

but I've had a few of my posts deleted in a flash when I have gotten upset a swore my head off at some members, and again when I asked for BTC as joke in another ridiculous thread.

Huh Huh Huh

Hi Inglewood,

do you think you can also offer Sony Playstation 4.?

these don't have power supply bricks and they can take 120v to 240v auto switchable, plus they'd be heaps smaller package making easier and cheaper to ship.

I'd be first to buy one of these.  Smiley

325  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 07, 2014, 02:59:50 AM
hi i have a October jupiter knc with 0.99.1Tune firmware with 4 vrms, I would like to give OC, but i don't know how to start, could someone help me?

I'm Spanish, I forgive my English.

Have you read through the thread? It tells you exactly what you need to do..

Where exactly???

Here start with this:

DISCLAIMER: Not my fault if you blow it up! Smiley

Ok first make sure your Miner is updated with the .99 Firmware (tuning)

Then with Putty SSH into your miner

login with your root ID
and your password

type:

screen -r

You will see cgminer running.

Hit Q to stop cgminer

then type this at the command prompt:

vi /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh

Use the cursor keys on your keyboard to scroll down till you see this code:

Look for the line that says:

cmd=$(printf "0x86,0x%02X,0x01,0xF1" $c)

NOTE: some of the characters at the end (especially the F1) may be different.

The key is the line with the 0x86, when you see that you are on the right line.

change this:

cmd=$(printf "0x86,0x%02X,0x01,0xF1" $c)

to this:

cmd=$(printf "0x86,0x%02X,0x02,0x11" $c)

Hit escape when finished. Then hit the : key, then x to save and exit

relaunch cgminer with the command line:

/etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart

You should then see cgminer and you should be hashing between 150-154 per module. (Saturn should be 300-310GH)

NOTE:
If you don't know how to use VI then you can screw things up

here is a shortcut,
when you move the cursor over the 1 in "0x01" that you want to change to a 2, do this:
hit r
then hit 2

and it should Replace the 1 with a 2
then do the same with the F
hit r
then hit 1

then hit:
esc
:
q

q will not save changes

to save changes:

then hit:
esc
:
wq

PS. also works with 99.1Tune firmware
326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: January 06, 2014, 02:18:07 PM
BTC CHINA is based and hosted in the US for those who did not know, so no it will not close it may change hands as to who directs it but i very much doubt that, Bobby does a great job and is a really nice guy. do a quick search on youtube for some of his presentations which explain everything in full detail, they leave no questions unanswered Smiley
how is BTCChina based and hosted in US..?  Do you mean only the computer servers are hosted in the US..?

I'm member at BTCChina and have spoken with support and they told me that fiat can only be withdrawn into Chinese mainland banks.  Also I've heard that you can personally walk into BTCChina office in China to deposit fiat, as you know that fiat cannot be deposited into BTCChina from Chinese banks.

What happens if you plug a 110V device into a 220V system? Sorry .... I'm terrible at electronics  !!!

I wouldn't try it, but some power supply's can support 110v to 240v.  not sure what kind of power supply comes with the US version Xbox One.

you can use a step down transformer but that would add an extra brick size box next to the existing power supply which then connects to the Xbox, it will look messy.

or you could buy one of these below.

330  Economy / Goods / Re: New Year Promotion, PlayStation 4 and Xboxe One for BTC. on: January 04, 2014, 05:56:01 PM
I will dont change my mind.
Hard on tor.
Assuming... What if sombody recive package and tell that didnt?

use fastest over night shipping method with signature.  you'll have you fast BTC and we'll have unit fast.

problem solved

better than trying to con someone here for days on end
331  Economy / Goods / Re: New Year Promotion, PlayStation 4 and Xboxe One for BTC. on: January 04, 2014, 05:48:15 PM
we can use these escrow services below very easily

http://btcrow.com/

https://coinguard.org/

you just joined today how could anyone be stupid enough to send you bitcoins for consoles worth twice as much then what you're asking price is?

seriously, if you complete one successful trade with escrow and get 1 trust rating then you'll be trusted 100% more than now.

EDIT. I'll pay escrow fee
332  Economy / Goods / Re: New Year Promotion, PlayStation 4 and Xboxe One for BTC. on: January 04, 2014, 04:42:52 PM
Does the Playstation 4 accept 120v to 240v like the playstation 3?  (you'd see the power range on back of the unit, box may only say 120v)

how much would shipping to Australia cost?

are selling it with escrow service as you new here with no trust rating?

Thanks
333  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Xbox One - $460 + International Shipping + ESCROW on: January 03, 2014, 04:38:27 PM
Is this not region locked to north America? You guys won't be able to buy games locally?
Or did this change? I'm waiting for a halo five edition next year!

could you please answer questions above.

I'm interested but would local games from Australia work in units you're selling?
and also does power supply support 240v?

Any news for new jupiter batch from knc ? Thanks.

Yes, it sold out today for under 10 minutes.

Were you just making this up? Or did it actually happen?

He's making it up.

It was under 8 minutes.

Btw the price KNC decided to sell them for today was very good. $2500 was a good call  Roll Eyes

What the hell?  I was looking out for a newsletter for the next batch of Jups as I really wanted to buy another one.  Sad  Well done, KNC.

335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 03, 2014, 07:52:13 AM
what I thought 'network protection' meant is to protect your share (existing KNC customer share) of the network.

in other words if your share of the network is 1TH, and the network rose 20% you should add 20% to your existing 1TH which would add up to be 1.2TH.
therefore the BTC you generate stays the same.  This is my opinion of how 'network protection' should work.  And this should only apply to existing customers who actually own miners only and shouldn't be sold to the general public for it to work.  If a 'network protection' batch were to be sold to anyone that wouldn't protect your share of the network but in fact make it worse for existing customers that own miners.  I know this sounds like an expensive exercise but this is the theory behind the 'network protection' statement.

Also I think why KNC have not or are hesitant in selling Jupiters is because they don't want existing Neptune customers asking for refunds just to buy Jupiters.  If KNC did offer Jupiters again then they should remove the refund option on Neptunes.  Or if this sounds to drastic for some, then KNC should say we will not sell Jupiters to people who have asked for refunds in the past.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes ::)what these mean at eligius pool???

Signature fails!
You must use a bitcoin client which supports standard signatures, or MtGox, for your mining address to sign options!
Community contributed instructions for using Bitcoin-qt are here: http://eligius.st/~capa66/utl/my_eligius/index.html

don't know if this will work but worth a try..

try select and copy the message in the text box above text box where you paste signature on my eligius options form page,
then right click your bitcoin address (used at eligius) in bitcoin wallet and select sign message and paste and generate.
last copy and paste in signature text box on options form page and submit changes.

Happy New Year to you and all at bitcointalk.
Cheers

hot off the press...

current price $6300.00 for a sierra miner at 1.2TH/s
lets say you want 2.4TH/s that's $12,600.00

soon increase dramatically would make the price over $12,600.00 for 2 sierra's at only 2.4TH/s  (The Avenger is not gonna be a happy chap after hearing this)

this makes a KNC Neptune look like a real bargain...  grab one while they last.

quick click link below Neptune's wont last long after this news gets around.

about you i have no doubt you are.
how can you say that if i was there, i saw with my own eyes!
listen, i don't care why they did that or that, is not my business, is their problem, i don't care. i care only to receive what i payed.
i only said i was there today and bought in person that's all, everyone should do the same, GO TO THEIR OFFICE.

well you'll be famous when you'll be the very first person taking video and photos and posting it here

when are expected to get your miner?
340  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: zte-asic miners, 2TH shipping in January? on: December 30, 2013, 03:18:52 AM
ZTE is for real!!!

hi all, i'm back with some great news regarding them.
i just went in person today at their office and saw in action their Ares and Hades miners which where exposed in their small office. their top Zeus was not available for public yet. they look exactly as in those images. i couldn't do too much with them, i only saw them in a 1 min benchmark. they are kind of noisy but Hades reached 3.16TH in this benchmark!

for those who are not confident to order online, do exactly what i did. go to their office, see them live, see them in a benchmark test, is better if you see what you are buying. you can make the payment in their office, cash or btc. i hardly can't wait to get my hands on my new toys Cheesy

they are 5 mins from Lincoln Memorial, go north to Washington Circle Park, take the 1st exit onto Pennsylvania ave, left onto 20th street and then right onto K street. they are near Farragut North metro station.

aaahhh, you forgot your phone/camera..?  where's the photo of the miner, people working there, or even their office..?  even bigger RED flag

did you ask them why they haven't posted a real video or a real photo,
or if they can't afford a camera, why hasn't someone who's supposedly bought one hasn't done this...?

how stupid do you think people are  Huh
