You speak a lot of truth, brother. People need a cheap, easy to utilize option like USB's, etc.. Power consumption is low enough that you can run it forever without noticing a hit on the power bill, the only problem is nobody is offering a competitive option. The 5gh sticks are overpriced, other "fury" units as well, we can only hope the USB here is priced more competitively than the larger unit. AM made a killing selling sticks at just over what most of us would consider the ROI point, now we need the next gen of usb devices so that people who don't want to sink $1000+ into hardware have a reasonable, ready-to-ship option that is also convenient for folks like phil here who loves the eBay.  And don't even mention the cube, it's like AM took the original Jala cases and made it their own with overpriced, power-hungry hardware. It is really annoying to me. I have dozens of buyers begging for more sticks. I do not need a cube, a jally, a blade yada yada yada. I need sticks. I sold 3 red furies at 222.22 each all sold in under 2 hours . I have a price point issue I need a piece of gear to be sold on under 250 and small. Why is that ebay does not require a signature for gear under 250. And the post office has lots of small box low cost shipping with tracking. Also buyers in the under 250 range really are a bit afraid of dropping a lot in the BTC game but have a healthy curiosity .. So buying a red fury or a few am sticks to get in the game appeal to them. These buyers are the future of BTC. If I got 50 guys into this on ebay from the beginning which I did do at least that many. Most of them are now a bit wiser and they liked that the first seller did not bend them over and take advantage of them. Like BFL did to me still waiting on my Jan 2013 money.+1000 I've been selling ASICminer BE's in AU and have been inundated with hundreds of request for more, and I haven't used eBay for while, just a few at beginning (fees are a killer) Please, need to know prices and how to order. |

I have the 24pin version of that, plugged right into the end of the 24 pin cable for my KnCs. works very very well, no problems yet. Here's an interesting tidbit for you: Jumping right at the power supply works on some PSUs, however not all. It worked fine on the terrible Corsair RM850, however on the AX860 and the Seasonic 860 (same psu) it absolutely will not work, however jumping it at the end of the 24pin cable works fine. I notice there are multiple wires coming from teh PSU side that then double up on the 24Pin end, I didn't bother looking into it further or tracking the ones that needed bridging, I just deal with the ATX cable and jump it at the end. Jumping right at the power supply also doesn't work with Cooler Master PSU's. I use method below with single poll two way switch. Small cable ties hold it in place but not required as they push in nice and snug.     the 2 end pins I bend outwards just slightly to meet holes in the plug. EDIT. Well, the auction absolutely should have been shared with the general shareholder community.
While not quite a certain thing, the auction does offer strong circumstantial evidence that Alberto never had working Labcoin chips. That's crucial information to shareholders.
Some have been holding out hope that Alberto was making a genuine effort and may return with hashing later. The auction indicates that's very, very unlikely.
Everyone has a right to know that, while shares are still able to be traded.
You're right. I was talking to anyone who contacted the seller on Ebay, which caused the de-listing, which screwed our effort to capitalize on the opportunity to see justice within our lifetime. This could have been a slam dunk 100% guaranteed fraud arrest within the week. In what universe would this have been a slam dunk fraud arrest? An italian dude selling from italy, and you would have who exactly arrest him, on what grounds? Your amazing trail of evidence is where? Some of you nimwits have been watching way too much american TV. I would have bought them on COD arrangement and busted him selling property which wasn't authorized by share holders. I'm sure police would be interested and bring him in for questioning and at least they have something on him. But the ship has sailed now. and realistically it would never have work if we keep discussing these findings here. Shit it's like some here are watching his back. |

I can't officially recommend that as I've seen the Nov Jupiter pushed higher than 1000w (~1050w), but KnC are still using the Coolermaster v850 to do that, and your PSU is rated at 1000w for 80% load so... I would just get a 1050w or higher- why mess around with 20-30 bucks for the PSU when the miner costs 5k+. Seems silly. I bought it just two days before KnC informed the new feature of the Nov. Jupiter and it is difficult to change and find a good PSU >= 1200W in Vietnam. keep what you've got to power 3 modules and add another lower wattage (eg. 500W) to power last one. problem solved  |

@ anyone w/jupiter - what are you using for the 4th module with your V850s?
mine came with 3 'twin' connectors, so im using one connector 'twice' and it is HOT!
Twin molex to PCI-E is one solution. Or I read that you can use one of the CPU slots to plug an additional PCI-E cable there (if you have any), but do your own research for that as I cannot be held responsible for any damages. Btw if you send an email to Cooler Master to request additional PCI-E cables they will be happy to send you some. I'm currently waiting 7 to arrive:  Bless you, I'll email them immediately. i saw the 2 molex - pci-e option in 2011 but not comfortable trying it on the jupiter was curious what others are using - the twin method works but less than ideal, especially with an empty pci-e slot right thurr what are you using to power ur extras, a second psu? I would not use PCI-E to molex adaptors for a jupiter. those were designed with the 75W PCI-E limit in mind, and a single jupiter ASIC draws far more than 75w Agreed, just use the 8-pin CPU connector, just upside down  I'm using using the CPU connector this way also and works fine for me. running 26 days without a problem |
