I used the UPS quote/calculator thing today and to ship 1x unit of Mercury from Sweden to Australia would cost me $550+ USD for shipping alone... that is not with any other fees or GST (which is payable on good purchased and imported to Australia over $1000 AUD)...
Currently KnC quote $172 for shipping a Mercury/Saturn/Jupiter to Australia
Previously before the design illustration changed it was $129
It looks like the dimensions and probably weight have increased.  Not that I care.  To me it's great sign as they must be getting closer to real product dimensions and specs.

BTW. I'm in Australia and I know that GST is payable on items over $1000, but not sure how this is applied to imported items delivered to the door.
Anyone from Australia have an idea?

I will start with 10 Block Erupters, and convert AUD to BTC tomorrow.

If they are available on 10th July then when could we expect them in Australia?  Have you imported these before to Australia?

I will PM you tomorrow for your address.

Thanks.

I have to say I like IPO.

Can you be more specific ? there are various sites for doing the IPO, but we are more prone to a "private IPO" approach, if we should choose this way.
In addition, we would like to keep all the proceedings from the IPO on escrow, until we have a contract signed with the fab for the final tape-out.
We would be talking about a quite large sum of money.

Thanks for your feedback.

What would be considered a private IPO? Just private investors funding a bulk of the IPO outside of an exchange? How much money would you need to raise? How would the share structure and payout look like? If you can provide more details please share. Thanks.

+1 yes, yes, what that guy said above Cool please more detail, or if you're undecided lets discuss options here

Well both of mine can't be found, but they're in my account
copy the whole 13 digit code
# to check order status: XXX-XXXX-XXXXXX

I'm also day 1, but I wouldn't get excited until we get confirmation from KnC

this is the way it's displayed in my browsers, also notice different images for the miners.

It's possible they know how final products are going to look like.

how come I don't see the quantity amount in red text in any of my browsers? Huh  Is everyone seeing as image above?
I can only see the quantity box to select an amount to buy.

I'm planning on selling Rasp Pi prepackaged with everything needed for newbies to get started with bitcoin mining.
sounds like a good idea.
what's included in the package?
are you thinking of having sd card pre-loaded with mining software?
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 28, 2013, 01:52:46 PM
my reasoning for knowing more about queue positions is because I'd like to buy a second miner from KnC and I like to know if could be shipped in September.
I don't mean Day 1/2/3/4/5 when pre-orders are shipped, but what about the following days in September.

I emailed this question to KnC yesterday and received reply today stating all orders paid from now will be shipped in October.  For me October is to late for ROI, this is just my opinion.

836  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 28, 2013, 04:12:49 AM
I am "rest of the world" , who I contact to buy these ?  Thanks.
Also, I am curious about what the declared price for this package will be.
+1
I have sent PM to friedcat 4 days ago and no reply yet.

I just didnt think its was I needed to pay yet, maybe they just want the $115,000 or ehatever it is for the 12 Jupiter s I ordered
are they still accepting pre-orders.?
if they are in fact pre-orders and they asked you for payment that should mean they are still valid.  Yes.?

I have some orders not paid but they are not pre-orders (not in the 1-500 lot) and I didn't get email to pay.

@elasticband, could you please ask KnC if your orders are still valid and if you can still transfer ownership?

All orders are preorders, and you need not get an email to pay. They started accepting preorder monies about like 3 weeks ago... someone who is thinking about such a substantial investment might think to check the site from time too time.  If you couldn't figure that one out, maybe you should think about another investment. You could have easily used a google addon site monitor. Its not too late, just pay for it. the longer you wait, the less you will make, period.
I have already bought one, but was thing of purchasing another.
If orders that 'elasticband' placed are actually valid pre-orders that are in the (1-500) queue and will be shipped in September it would be better getting it in September than October.
One month difference in this business can amount to some extra coin, well you don't need me to tell you this.
