I feel like I went on a trip to a madhouse, where they show the most mentally ill patients Smiley
Not surprised you feel like that. After all that amount of lies and propaganda around you.

Quote from: DrBeer
PS I have an assumption that the author still deliberately behaves this way to show himself incompetent and to avoid Putin's collection of expendables all over Russia. After all, Putin said that "there will be no mobilization", and based on the known history, it means one thing - there will be and necessarily  Grin Grin Grin Grin
As I have already told you many times: I'm not Russian, I don't live in Russia and I have never even visited Russia in my life. Moreover, I'm not rooting for Russia in this war. I'm just being realistic: Ukraine can't win this war. As to you, being retarded won't help you to avoid the frontline as AFU are now recruiting retarded people so chances are, you will soon receive a one-way ticket to Donbas. Btw, why are not there yet? You are not patriotic enough?

Quote from: DrBeer
How is the "Big Airborne Ship Novocherkassk" doing? ? I understand everything is fine there - after all it is located in "the most protected region of Russia", as Putin did not lie again ?! And it is protected by "unparalleled, advanced, unavailable to the West, Russian weapons"  Grin
What in the world is "big airborne ship"? Can it fly? Tell me more about this magic ship...  Grin

As to the rest of your comment, no anti-missile defence system is 100% secure. AFU used the tactics Hamas employed against Israel - they shoot as many missiles, drones and shells as they can, overloading the anti-aircraft systems and then they shoot guided rockets which hit the target while the anti-missiles systems are reloading. But no surprise the person with a room temperature IQ is not aware of this tactics.  Grin

Quote from: DrBeer
PS and on the topic - what’s the situation with eggs? Is Putin holding his balls until the elections? Is Kazakhstan feeding “Great Russia”? Smiley
I have no idea, just can tell you that Russians are going to win this war with or without eggs. Btw, I'm not sure why are you so worried about Putin's balls?

Putin cannot stop the war in Ukraine and withdraw his troops from there
Why would he want to stop this war if he's winning it?

Quote from: Argoo
Therefore, already fighting for his life, he will send more and more thousands of mobilized people into the furnace of war. But the mobilized citizens of Russia are not mindless cattle that can be sent to slaughter for a long time.
I think we have already come to a conclusion that there are no or very few mobilized troops in Ukraine. Mostly volunteers and professional army.

Quote from: Argoo
Now, during active assaults on Ukrainian positions, over a thousand Russian occupiers die every day.
According to whom? AFU sources? You really expect them to report correct numbers? You must be out of your mind then, colonel. I remember you wrote here on this forum that Russia has lost more than a million already. And AFU losses? Still 0, right? That's why Ukraine has signed that new recruitment law?  Grin

Quote from: Argoo
After the invasion in February 2022, Russia, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has already lost more than 356,000 of its soldiers and officers, 5,940 tanks, 11,025 armored vehicles, 329 aircraft, 324 helicopters, 8,391 artillery systems, 945 MLRS, 617 air defense systems, 23 ships and boats , as well as other military equipment.
Again, according to whom? What are the sources? Ukrainian military? I'm sure that Russians have that many armaments in total, let alone in Ukraine. Grin

Quote from: Argoo
Russia has a lot of resources, but they also tend to run out. Instead of improving the quality of life in its country, Russia now produces weapons in three shifts, which are destroyed in the war, and the citizens of the country only become poorer, a significant part of them die at the front in Ukraine.
To run out of what? A significant part of 150million is how many people?  Grin

Quote from: Argoo
Putin can be stopped by food and bloody riots or mass unrest in the regions with the aim of separating from the central government of the Kremlin and creating independent republics. We will be able to see all this already next year, 2024.
I'm sure any victim of western propaganda dreams of it. Not gonna happen. In 2024 we are going to see: Trump getting elected as the US president, Ukraine runs out of cannon fodder and NATO help and surrenders (or gets destroyed completely).  Cool

Please Ordinals should be totally scraped out of Bitcoin network, they said with time Mempool will be less congested but as time goes by its becoming more annoying and now what we use as free accelerator (ViaBTC) as been taken by bots, there is no such thing as equity here all they care about is either spamming or making money, there are no decentralisation here, just annoying folks who only cares about themselves

They are still accelerating 100 transactions per hour freely.
The problem is that ordinal scammers are abusing ViaBTC free accelerator with their bots and don't allow humans to submit their transactions.

If you check the last blocks mined by ViaBTC, you will see that they have included many low fee transactions.

Read the post I made in another thread.

but I'm starting to think Viabtc is no longer truly offering 100 tx per hour
I think they do.

Here are the latest two blocks mined by ViaBTC. Transactions are sorted by their fee rate in ascending order.
(Times are in UTC.)

Just visit the above links and see how many low fee transactions they have included.

According to above times, ViaBTC should have accelerated 300 transactions freely in block number 823066.
Let's check if they did so.

The minimum required fee rate for getting confirmation in block number 823066 was around 100 satoshi. ViaBTC included 312 transactions with the fee rate of less than 90 sat/vbyte. Click here to see all those transactions.
10 out of those 312 transactions were confirmed with CPFP and that means that 302 transactions were accelerated by ViaBTC. All those 302 transactions meet ViaBTC free accelerator requirements.

The problem is how ViaBTC free accelerator is being abused by bots. 294 out of 302 transactions are related to ordinals. They are all 1 input - 1 output transactions paying 23 sat/vbyte.

Yes, I can confirm ViaBTC is plagued by bots. They're offering to accelerate 100 transaction per hour but even if I refresh the page at 10:00, at 10:01 there are no free spots left. Due to ordinals/brc20 spam ddosing the sh*t out of the blockchain my transactions are sitting there 10-20mb from tip for days, even though the fees are quite ok (~100sat/byte).
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin HODL: what happens to Bitcoin holders during impressive price increase? on: December 27, 2023, 10:41:57 PM
Good day, distinguished crypto enthusiasts on this forum, and a Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.

Recently, HODL has been running through my mind, and I definitely understand that most people consider it to be the way forward when planning on investing in Bitcoin. It is a method that can amount to good profit, especially when the period of holding is lengthy.

As 2024 approaches, two major events awaits us: The Bitcoin spot ETF approval and Bitcoin halving, respectively. with the occurrence of these two events, there is certainty that the market would be affected in positive ways, thereby seeing impressive pumps. The situation might also go the other way where the unexpected might happen.

Question: With the coming of these two major events, assuming the price of Bitcoin turns out to be very impressive and massively different from today's current price, will the majority of Bitcoin holders keep(continue) holding?, or might price temptation just result in them selling to make a profit?.

Thanks for your time.

I think the pump will be enormous! I share the opinion with those people who think that the previous 4 year Bitcoin cycle was ruined. There was a premature pump, then dump and later second top. So, to compensate for that poor performance this cycle is going to be super powerful and will go parabolic. ETF is just one of the factors which will propel Bitcoin to new highs. Not sure about long-term but shirt-term definitely!

Everyone is probably looking forward to the comeback of the year 2024 when Rafael Nadal steps onto the Australien Open court. I was trying to find out which tournament he will play in preparation of the Australian Open. Does anyone know what his first games will be? I think people around the world will watch those games with a little bit of skepticism, hoping that he doesn't have to give up or something. That fear that he has to step back during the tournament even when he wins his games until the quarterfinals or something is also there. But it would be great to see a fully healthy Nadal in 2024 and have him compete with Djokovic like in good old times.

I think his first tournament will be the ATP tournament in Brisbane end December- beginning January. It will be good to have him back on the tenniscourts, but I don't think he will get back to his old level. He is already 37 years and we saw the same with Federer when he tried to come back from his injury. Would be great if he could win another grandslam but will be very difficult.

Ok yes, you are right, here it is: "Nadal Announces He Will Return In Brisbane"

I am sure he has done everything possible to be fit enough to endure an entire tournament. Because this is what I am most afraid of, he wins his games but has to quit because of again another injury.

I was trying to see if there was any announcement as regards the order of play
and there doesnt seem to be anything of a draw made at this stage. Qualifying is
on 2 days already!

Nadal will be as ready as he can be but will not be "match fit" if he can manage to get
some wins under his belt and build his fitness and stay uninjured it will be great to see.

Djokovic is now smelling the opportunity as there is only Alcaraz who can stop him from time to time, but other than that there is hardly anyone with a realistic chance to beat Djokovic. If he stays in shape, who knows how many Grand Slam titles he can still add.
Well, Medvedev on fast hard court surface (like US Open) can be a menace for Nole. Hard courts are relatively slow in Australia but let's not underestimate the Russian. Last year he started really well by winning several titles in a row.

Meanwhile, we can expect another impressive return in WTA: Naomi Osaka will be back after giving birth to her child. Japanese star will be playing for the first time since 2021.

One of my favourite female players, its massive to see that Naomi will be back
playing and will be playing in Brisbane. If she can get her mentality together she
can definitely do great things.
Yeah, Naomi is always a pleasure to watch. It's incredible that she has already won 4 GS titles early in her career! If not for her mental health issues, she could have won many more Grand Slams I'm sure of it.  But she is still young (she's 26) and she can still win at least some 5-6 titles if lucky.

Look what she herself has to say:

Quote
“I don’t know how the beginning of the year is going to go for me. Like, I don’t know the level of play. And I think I kind of have to ease into it,” the former World No. 1 said of her return. “So at the very least, I’m going to set myself up for a very good end of the year.”

Almost every gamblers notably those that make use of online Casino's for their gambling have the notion that except from a license owned casino they don't use any  casino without a license, which I think is a cautious thing to do.

But have been wondering and wanting to ask, does a license guarantees that a casino won't scam it's customer's going forward.

Definitely not. There were cases of scammers using gambling licences from countries like Curacao. I'm not an expert I'm not sure how hard is it to acquire such a license or how much it costs, but check any casino reviews website and there are horror stories of scam casinos with Curacao license so it's probably worth it.

I didn't check the draw and/or order of play but I've heard that Nadal is going to play on December 31st! I wasn't able to find the draw online so it's not clear yet whom he is going to play in R1 but it's clear that it won't be Matteo Berrettini. The Italian has withdrawn from Brisbane International due to foot injury.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: December 26, 2023, 01:03:22 PM
The Black Sea waters are gradually getting rid of the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which terrorized shipping in this sea and tried to block the export of agricultural products by Ukraine from its ports for supply to the world market.

Today, December 26, at about 02:30, tactical aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force attacked the large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet "Novocherkassk" with cruise missiles in the port of occupied Feodosia. The ship carried ammunition, as well as possibly Iranian drones, which were nicknamed "Shaheds" because the ship was detonated for several hours after the large explosions. At that time, loading and unloading operations were taking place on the ship, so the entire crew of the ship, numbering 90 people, was present. According to preliminary data, the ship and its crew sank.

In addition, over the past three days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down five Russian fighter-bombers: four of the latest SU-34 and one SU-30 in southern Ukraine. The occupiers cannot understand why Ukraine is shooting down their planes, they have strengthened reconnaissance and at the same time reduced air attacks.

Another 20th century 46 yo military transport ship destroyed? Or was it just damaged? There is no clear proof. I saw one pic on telegram but frankly I wasn't able to see the ship at all in that photo.  Grin

You forgot to mention that both SU24 AFU fighter jets carrying missiles to attack Feodosia were downed?  Grin

And finally, this "great success" is overshadowed by AFU leaving Maryinka and preparing to withdraw from almost completely encircled Avdiivka. The news from the Southern front are also quite alarming - the Russians are attacking Rabotyne and Verbove and going to recapture the villages soon. The front is crumbling, AFU are experiencing huge shortage of artillery rounds and APCs. But the main shortage is the lack of troops. Average age of an AFU soldier has reached 54 years, soldiers are tired, scared and demoralized.

So, my dear colonel Argoo (muahaha  Grin), perhaps it's time to join AFU as a volunteer? You aren't that old, should be only a bit over the recruitment age of 60? So are you still sitting at home doing nothing? What's your excuse, colonel?  Grin

P.S. I know that you are not a colonel and not over 60. I can tell it by many things, don't think I'm stupid. You are a liar and a coward that's what I'm sure about.  Cool

Yeah, the Swedish guy, he was funny. He shared his pics of fine dining at Biltema.  Grin Judging by his posts he was at least 60+ and I haven't seen him in a while. Hopefully he is alive and well. But then again, I missed a lot of action here in WO so I hope I'm wrong and I just missed his appearance.

Merry Christmas to you too serveria.com!

Yea I did see that this tournament was on, its more of an exhibition event though, its an
independent tournament and probably a bit more light hearted than a full blown ATP/WTA
event. They are certainly not doing it for the monetary reward either...

The Eagles took home AED1 million ($272,305), while the Kites bagged AED500,000.

Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Sofia Kenin and 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva claimed
season 2 title at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena

Sure, for such stars like Medvedev and Rublev a prize of $272,305/4 is peanuts but for Andreeva for example it's a great chance to take on the biggest WTA/ATP stars and a very nice experience. So, she's definitely a winner here.

273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which hosting or domain name providers does shady gambling sites use? on: December 25, 2023, 08:37:51 AM
Today, when I was browsing the service discussion board I found a thread created by a Hero member where he was asking about good hosting providers that doesn't require KYC. I didn't feel to reply there because others users have already answered the question and OP found his web host with the help of those members.

But something came in my mind after reading that thread that which hosting providers and domain name providers those shady gambling websites use. Most of us know the shady websites like 1xBit for their shady activities and we also know that they got license from countries like Curacao but does anyone knows that which hosting providers and which domain name providers such gambling sites use.

All those gambling sites had to use some domain name registrar that registered those domain names for those shady sites and they all need some kind of hosting plains in order to make their site accessible to everyone but the question is that which domain name providers or hosting companies allow such sites to host their domains or register their domain and renew those domains even if they have been tagged for their shady activities.

Interesting question, I don't think there are some specific web hosting companies offering service exclusively to questionable gambling companies. I mean, a web hosting company doesn't have to check if their customers' businesses are not scams. As long as there are not obvious criminals (phishing, kiddy po*n and similar stuff) that is. So, in most cases, for a web hoster it's just another customer, a business opportunity.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 24, 2023, 11:00:43 PM
Been following a dramatic final of the World Tennis League today. Team Eagles defeated team Kites after Sofia Kenin surprisingly beat Aryna Sabalenka 6:4. Kenin showed probably her best tennis this year. The drama for Kites didn't end there - Paula Badosa and Sabalenka lost their doubles match against Mirra Andreeva/Kenin duo after leading 5:2 and Andreeva's second serve had been called out. Eagles challenged the call and it turned out the serve was in. Eagle girls proceeded by winning 5 games in a row and winning the match 7:5. In the final match of the day Rublev lost against Grigor Dimitrov but the writing was on the wall - team Eagles (Medvedev, Rublev, Kenin, Andreeva) won the title!  Cool

Merry Christmas to all the tennis fans!  Roll Eyes

Please open a ticket as some addresses are unmonitored or checked only once in a while. While communicating with a web hosting company, opening a ticket is your best bet. Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?

For me it's definitely more fun to watch when I bet. I only bet for fun so it brings no stress but rather only positive emotions. It sort of amplifies the fun. But yeah, I presume that if you're betting big and you're going all in then it's a different story, it would be much more stressful to watch.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy crisis? What energy crisis? Oil dips to 3 months low despite OPEC cuts! on: December 23, 2023, 02:16:15 PM
Angola turned out to be the smartest and made a logical decision - it is illogical to participate in manipulations for the sake of satisfying the morbid fantasies of some participants, to the detriment of its economy !

"Angola quits OPEC
Angola does not agree with its oil production quotas and leaves OPEC
Such a decision the authorities of the country explained the "lack of results" from participation in the organization and disagreement with the quotas for oil production.
Angola is leaving the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) starting from January 1 next year. The country's authorities have already sent a document to the organization, which formalizes its voluntary withdrawal from this economic bloc. This was reported by Angop on Friday, December 22.

It is noted that the sending of this message to OPEC took place a few hours after the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas Diamantino Azevedo publicly announced the withdrawal.

He attributed this decision to the "lack of results" from participation in the organization and disagreement with oil production quotas.

"Until now, quotas have not affected us, but if we had stayed in OPEC, we would have suffered the consequences of the decision to honor production quotas," Azevedo told TPA TV. Angola would then have been forced to cut production, he added.

"We want to participate in organizations not to enter quietly and leave silently, but to be active and contribute. When we see that our contribution does not produce any tangible results, it means we are not doing anything in that organization," the minister said.""

PS And a little negative, but as it is - given that this clearly affects Russia's desires to destabilize the oil market, terrorist attacks and other classic Kremlin staging like "military coup" are possible in Angola in the near future....

No big deal - Angola is an insignificant oil producer with around 1 million barrels. To compare, the remaining OPEC 12 members produce about 27 million barrels. For Angola, oil and other fossils revenue make up to 90% of countries entire export so yeah, after the country's economy got hit by covid consequences the only solution for them is to produce more oil. OPEC refused to assign them more quotas so they decided to leave. Move on, there's nothing to see here.  Cool

“Oil reserves in Angola reach 7 billion barrels. Angola’s oil is light and low-sulfur, considered one of the best in the world, since its processing requires minimal costs”

Are you retarded? Where did I mention oil reserves? I was talking about OIL PRODUCTION not oil reserves. Russia's oil reserves are:

Quote
Russia's proved oil reserves were 80 billion barrels as of January 1, 2023.

Source: https://www.eia.gov/international/analysis/country/RUS

So what?

Quote from: DrBeer
The main thing is to start the process - as they say, “water wears away stones” Smiley OPEC participants are simply beginning to understand that all this fuss started by Russia will give the participants NOTHING except lost profits and a sullied reputation. So we are watching the situation develop.

Read any article from reputable source like Reuters (unless you want to look like a complete clown) it has all the info you need. In short, the oil industry experts don't think any other country will leave OPEC in the nearest future. I tend to believe industry experts not some random borderline retarded troll on an internet forum.  Grin

It's a good thing you only have not more than a year to continue your trolling. Guess why?  Grin
