261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price falls 7 percent after Twitter's announcement of crypto ban on: March 29, 2018, 08:58:11 AM
Only fools regard this as bad news.

crypto is full of scams and crap that needs weeding out before the legit projects can start to get further recognition and adoption.

we know jack is a big big supporter of BTC  so this is also evidence that facebook and google are probably not crypto haters either.

Simply they cant allow scams to advertise there any longer and it is impossible for them to weed out the good from the bad so ban them all is the only way.

Couldn't agree more with you , I always tell people about this. They ban crypto from their advertisement objectively not subjective due it's crypto, due it's Bitcoin! But how nowadays there too much scam service in the name crypto , irresponsible people take it as their personal advantage they are abusing it. Yet people run in panic trying to pull themselves from crypto business , come on guys ! This is not the first time.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin preparing for a bull run?? on: March 28, 2018, 06:05:59 PM
Legend has it that everytime bitcoin goes down, it always rises back for even much stronger push. As we can see on the crisis lately, bitcoin has made a quick spike after it recorded it's lowest market price for this year. But since the bearish pattern stays within us for so long, so i expect that long bull run is about to happen soon.
Well this time are different situation, the drop caused by the correction from the previous crazy move. People are indeed building something to push the price , unfortunately it didn't work every time they try due how strong hands always prefer to go for selling instead help buying.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 28, 2018, 04:44:49 PM
The market reversal is somewhere very close. Because when most people are in panic, which means that soon there will be up trend. This has already happened many times.
This is the logic , the market won't fall forever so do with the rise. After a skyrocketing price few months ago , here is the crazy drop , actually it's a crash from around $15k to $8k. No one can explain about this , one thing I believe , people are full of doubts and withdraw their investment once there is a dump storm , people blame about Gox hard dump, I do believe so and the situation won't recover soon , hold your usd. If you can keep holding your Bitcoin at same time.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2018, 01:40:33 PM

I didn't hear about that the Croatian players have returned back to their club until you say so then I looking for more info aand yeah it's confirmed that 6 star players like Luca modric , mandzukic who will play at champions league next week has sent back to Europe . Also considering an American teams have a good statistics beating European teams, I'll go for Mexico !

It is a very strange decision from national football federation of Croatia,it seems that the interests of the some clubs are more important than national interests, even if it's about friendly matches.Six players who will not play against Mexico : Modric, Mandzukic, Perisic, Kalinic, Subasic&Brozovic. For the powerful Mexico this should be lighter training and odds are going down on Mexico win.

I believe in the victory of Mexico in this game, although we should always be cautious with this friendly games. No one think that the Netherlands would so convincingly win over Portugal.

Well that kind situation actually could be a practice in case key players aren't available to play and guess Croatia did it , they managed to win it even underpressure for 90 minutes . Not sure if it was a luck or a working strategy. Another unexpected result Argentina got "gang banged" by Spain , it supposed be a tight game but Isco ruined it all , a nightmare for sports bettor around the world.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I make passive daily income with trading? on: March 28, 2018, 10:50:24 AM
Can I make passive daily income with trading?
I have little money of about 100$, Is it a good idea to start jump on Bittrex or Poloniex and
start buying alt coins for profit.

Trading is an active income not passive. Maybe what you mean is investing. You can do what most people do which is holding because it is a form of investment. You can choose any coin which you think has a great potential or a newly listed coin that still has a low price because it will most likely increase in the future given that the developers of it will be actively working for the project and always communicate to its supporters and investors. Usually, investors lose confidence in the project if they don't know what happen in the background. You can also buy POS coins wherein you can get passive income as long as your computer is connected to the network always. This is one kind of mining as well.
Lol yeah the title are confusing , it's clearly that trading itself requires you to work actively not passively , you can't do buy certain coin and then get a steady income with it , you need to actively buy and selling it. Otherwise it turns to an investment not trading anymore , I think op aren't completely understand about how to start trading and just imagine an easy money with less process in it.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 28, 2018, 10:27:01 AM
It was part of our culture and we also have that "perya" since I was a kid in our barangay and town yearly but sometimes there's a year that it was prohibited, sometimes there's a year that they allow it. The "perya" near us has been raided by CIDG few nights ago and destroy a bit of there things but the owner fixed it again and now they continue operating. It was kind of illegal but it's really part of our culture that can't be easily vanish.
Just digging some info about this perya , is it just an ordinary carnival held in Philippine ? And some people do gamble on various form of games there? And then it become a culture to do so every year. I see Philippine as a country that prohibit gambling and quite religious. No wonder a lot of people try to stop it. Gambling there are  A culture indeed but it should obey the policy and the norms used there.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vegascasino.io stole from me and they could STEAL from YOU on: March 27, 2018, 09:07:40 PM
Is this true? Asked for KYC just for $100? It is just so strange especially if you made it with your own deposit. As I remember they are sister site of sportsbet.io (if it is not wrong), but I have never been asked for KYC at sposrtbet.io when I withdraw more than $1000 (I did it few weeks ago).

they turned into scam some time ago, were okeyish but now it is not about KYC or sum, they just scam you
but now even askgamblers blacklisted them and I don't know how on earth you send money to a site
that literaly shouts SCAM at you,Google, badbitcoin -just enter vegascasino.io+scam and you will see
https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/vegascasino-io-review/
At least with this thread those people who plain enough and desperate looking for a good , trusted casino would avoid to play there at vegascasino.io . Better to make a quick simple research before you trust to put your money in strange online casino. Well it's clearly about your carelessness blackatinc , accept it and move on considering there's no way to get your money back.
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: March 27, 2018, 07:24:34 PM
On strong market drawdowns, you need to keep coins. So now everyone is waiting for growth. It makes sense to sell coins only at the beginning of the fall of the coin price, in order to buy more coins later. Personally, I do so.
The problem are ... How to make an accurate analysis. Whether you have done right choice to cut loss in early dos trends? Or it could be a nightmare for you to sell it on a crucial moment where Bitcoin ready to bouncing back. It's always become a dilemma for everyone , if you not sure on what are you doing , better to be quiet holding on while everyone else do panic selling.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges and costs, spreads on: March 27, 2018, 03:39:55 PM
All exchanges are charging fixed fees for withdraws. They can't charge you 10% or 1%. It's fixed. But small withdraws are always costly.

This is why I'm trying to withdraws over 10 ETH and over 1BTC at a time, to minimize transaction costs.

AFAIK bittrex charged 0.001 only for withdrawal , no matter how much . it's a good place to do arbitrage . It's just crazy when an exchange cost you percentage as a fee , I would avoid that kind exchange. And yeah altcoin fee much smaller , especially when you do dogecoin as arbitrage , you would charged super small amount as a fee.
270  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINROYALE.COM • Provably Fair • 1 BTC Bonus • 10% Casino Rebate on: March 27, 2018, 03:24:39 PM
Theoretically what you say above could happen.  Although with all the promotions we have run using this format we have yet to see anything even close to a 1000%. Most 1st place finishers generally come in around 130% range.

That is why there is minimum betting requirements of 150 rounds and 0.05 BTC wagered. So a player can not play just 1 round and have a sky high winning percentage.

Actually your requirements is not so effective, whales who are interested with the prize can easily win this because they can just made 1 bet with a bit higher multiplier (lets say bet 0.05 with 3x multipler). If they win it = 200% winning percentage (if my math is not that bad), then will only need to make the other 149 bets with the minimum bet amount. I'm sure whales wont be afraid to risk 0.05btc for 1.2btc Smiley

Yes, this is quite good reason big whale will play for it and that is why I ask for minimal bet, if there is no minimal bet then this strategy might happen and big whale will always win this eventually. But if only he is lucky and hit it on the first try then he might get the first prize

But how is this calculated victor? Accumulated from 150 games or after 150 games it counts towards the percentage?

We take into account all rounds/games played.  If you do not hit the minimum requirements you do not qualify for the prize pool.

I mean how to check if we already hit the requirements or not? Because as I can see here, there is nothing like leaderboard or may be history of our bet if we already refreshed it? All will be gone for nothing and I do not even see my personal status of games that I took before. Autobot is not there too. Are you considering to add these feature? May be this is a good way to improve your site too

The only way to check is by asking victorhing about your stats during the tournament IMO. Regarding autobet, it is obviously a must feature on a dice game and it has been suggested many times before IIRC but still no updates from him whether it will be added or not. Very unfortunate where he has autobet on the slot game but no autobet for the dice game.
Yeah he did it manually , I've joined the previous tournament and it seems there a lot of things need to improved , I suggest those people who didn't fulfill the requirement To not listed in the leaderboard , once they fulfilled everything they are good to go listed in. What about that victor?
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 27, 2018, 10:43:23 AM
I believe a lot of football fans will be watching the friendly match between Portugal vs Netherlands, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be the main highlights in his team as he scored two late goals against Egypt in their last friendly match in order to secure a victory, the defenders of Netherlands will not have an easy time facing him in this upcoming friendly match.

Yes, tomorrows game is a good one to look forward to, and I will agree with you that the Netherlands will not find it easy and its not just because of CR7, and also given the fact that the Netherlands team have under performed for the last 4 years. I still think they are in the rebuilding phase after coming third in the last world cup in Brazil, and this phase has been very slow. They have a lot of young talent, but lack maturity and experience in the side. Portugal being current Euro champions will want to keep the fire going into this years world cup.
Bookies always find a way to make money , I wouldn't surprised if Netherlands win the match then when everyone placing bet on Portugal to win over Netherlands easily. Jeez I would avoid to bet on money line, I might interested on under 2.5 goal. Netherlands are indeed sucks but when it comes to friendly match , I don't think this is predictable.

You were spot on with this. That was a shocker from Portugal yesterday - maybe its because it was a friendly they didn't take that serious? I am happy for the Netherlands tho, they needed that sort of a win. But also way much happier for Justin Kluivert's debut yesterday. The family tradition continues... Cheesy
Told ya . Even though I lost due the game ended with over 2.5 goals , I've got nice odds from first half most goal. I didn't surprised , just terrible to see cristiano didn't even make a shot to Netherlands goal , what a game for bookies , they are laughing hard now.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees are a tax on BTC on: March 26, 2018, 08:31:37 PM
There are huge difference between tax and transaction fees, such as :
1. Transaction fees is created to prevent network spam, while tax is created to sustain government and it's project
2. Transaction fees rate depends on it's TPS and network TPS capacity, while tax rate depends on law.
3. Transaction fees is extra reward for miner, while tax is required if you want to see your country grow.

If bitcoin or blockchain-based cryptocurrency don't have transaction fees, surely we'll see people spam transaction which leads to bloating blockchain size, higher network/nodes loads and could lead to centralization.
Well I think op really aware about all of those list you've made above. The point here are the fee seems a little bit high and it makes people don't want to pay it , just like when you don't want to pay tax. We used to be fine when the transaction went smooth fast and charged a little amount of Bitcoin only as a fee. Tx fee now indeed feel like a tax , we hate it but have to.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Mt. Gox dude won't let Bitcoin prices rise on: March 26, 2018, 08:15:34 PM
Everything you think you know about the MtGox sale of Bitcoin is completely wrong.
This statement was released by the MtGox trustee today :
https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20180317_qa.pdf

It was all FUD.

Nobody is going to believe that and even if they do, too few will read or bother to read that statement in the first place.
The community needs a culprit, needs somebody to blame for the price drop.
Be it Gox, G20, just find somebody and blame him.

Already we have ideas about rubbing out everybody that tries to dump coins, the whole thing will only go downhill unless BTC goes up in price again.
Seriously the situation recently are so wild and messed up due this rumor. People can't resist to follow selling Bitcoin , panic people everywhere and hard to restore the faith that Bitcoin could recover , so now it might cost a lot of time for Bitcoin to rise again , worth to wait ? Decide by yourself.
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 07:43:16 PM
Why you gonna wait to finish college? If it is possible that you can do both trading bitcoin and studying college. As a student, sometimes we want to have extra money to pay our school fees and trading of bitcoins and altcoins is just one of the ways to make money while studying.
Earning while studying, nothing can be better than this. But college degree has nothing to do with the ability of person to do something. If it was so, Mark and Bill Gates would not have been where they are today. At the end, we need to make money for fulfilling our needs. The level of knowledge can also not be demonstrated by any college degree. If I had to choose or suggest one, it would be definitely bitcoin trading. Read books whenever one’s want to.
People always think about money , go to college to make bigger money in bigger position when you've got a degree etc. there's no Idealism left these days , you go to college to change the world into a better one, it's not about how you can make money later , but you'll learn how to become an influencer , if you think you can do both without any problem , then go ahead. It's important to fill your head with knowledge not just money money and money.

I think victor says it clearly the counting system are on how much bet amount and the winning percentage accumulated . Even with your scenario to do 149 bets with minimum bet amount , it would difficult to get a high winning percentage .
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2018, 06:14:24 PM
From a large number of matches in the next 2-3 days the most interesting are :

- Portugal-Netherlands
- Russia-France
- Denmark-Chile
- England-Italy
- Spain-Argentina
- Germany-Brazil
- Peru-Iceland
- Mexico-Croatia

For me the most interesting matches could be Spain-Argentina and Germany-Brazil.In both games we should see some scores,so bet on both to score would be a reasonable option.

I read that some european clubs ask national teams to rest key players for second matches, what's really strange in my opinion. In the light of that I just read that Mexico coach is very angry because top Croatian players are back to Europe,so there will play almost with B-team.This could be good info,Mexico will play with full squad and in good mood after 3-0 win against Iceland.

I didn't hear about that the Croatian players have returned back to their club until you say so then I looking for more info aand yeah it's confirmed that 6 star players like Luca modric , mandzukic who will play at champions league next week has sent back to Europe . 277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 26, 2018, 05:38:03 PM
So another big game for RMA, because they will play against Juventus on 3rd April.RMA always prove themselves great in UCL.Ronaldo is scoring goals in every match. So It is a good news for them and I think madrid have the possibility to win over Seria A champion.RMA always showed brilliant performance on UCL in last 3-4 seasons and I think they will want to win it at any cost.

Do you even watch soccer? If you do then you would know that Ronaldo's performance has been quite shitty this season, he is still decent if you compared him with alot of decent player then he is still on top but if you compare him with his past performance then it is a big deep shit he is this season. The chances to win is actually not that huge for real madrid
Do you even watch Ronaldo playing? If you do then you should know that Ronaldo is in trouble in La Liga until January, but in the Champions League, he is top scorer and played great from the beginning of the group phase. In La Liga he has also risen, he has scored 22 goals, left behind only 3 goals from Messi. So you should know that Ronaldo this season is not that shitty.

Yup, Ronaldo's new role playing at the center forward position has been paying dividends.  He kinda sucked last year, but this year, he has played really well considering his lower pace while losing some of that 'Ronaldo creativity and flair'.

I think we could see Real in the CL finals because of none other than RONALDO.  Yeah, I know.  It's sickening.  Lol.
I just wish not Real Madrid who gonna win the champions league , the odds are too low. A surprising team , an underdog like as Roma or Liverpool maybe? We know Ronaldo play so well after struggling on score goals , but now he is on top performance he looks like can't stop scoring , someone should stop him (not by break his ankle of course) .
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: How exchanges steal our money on: March 25, 2018, 06:44:20 PM
Before we come up with any conclusion, we must know how the said exchange platform works. We should also know how they make a profit.

Exchange platform usually makes a profit in the difference of spread during buying and selling. We are exchanging our currency based on what we have agreed to exchange.  I think it has no different with the real world exchange fees that vary based on the area. For Cryptocurrency, I believe they implement maximum fees on every transaction.
So not surprising if there is a lot of new exchange popping up massively. They see the clear opportunity to make money from plain stupid people and foolish naive one , well I know that's what everyone think about how you feel in disadvantage , some exchange run the business healthy and some in dirty , the point we can't prove the accusation , that's all.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: March 25, 2018, 06:25:39 PM
It's a good list, but I think almost everybody already knows this, it's pretty general info. So I'm not sure how useful it actually is for people... If you're prone to addiction, this probably doesn't do much for you.
Also, I think that most people who are aware of this, still have a chance to become addicted. It's something that creeps up on you and before you even realize it, it's too late.

In theory following these rules should be easy you'd think, but it's different in practice for some people.
Yeah it's always easy said than done , the theory , the strategy that seems should make things easier to make money steady would useless when you have to face the reality yeah the emotion and the greed always win to take control over yourself. To sum it up , gambling always the matter of luck and no such bankroll management or time management could work forever.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich people don’t gamble. on: March 25, 2018, 04:59:07 PM
indeed the lotteries are dominate by poor people because they expect hit the jackpot and being rich people but beside that i think rich people still gambling but the different is they only pick the particular games to satisfied their hobbies and possibly rich people gamble only for fun and because they already rich then they does not care if they lost and back to gamble for the next day
Poor people gamble to become rich but rich people gamble for what?? They rich already so they are looking for another excuse , usually it's for the priceless satisfaction. But there also some people who never feel enough collecting money so rich people could still gamble to become more rich which it's never ending purpose. So yeah that's my opinion.
