261  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BOUNTY] - Asicminer tube problem on: September 10, 2014, 05:02:39 AM
What makes you think it is a config problem rather than a hardware issue? Did it work previously?

Well, it is a demo unit from someone I trust a good deal, so I take hit word that it was functional upon shipping.

262  Bitcoin / Hardware / [BOUNTY] - Asicminer tube problem on: September 10, 2014, 04:12:44 AM

1)  Tell me what is wrong with my current configuration

25 Monarchs up and running.

This may well be the most FUBAR-ed form factor ever.  And that is saying a lot.

268  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] - Bitmain S2 & S3 on: August 18, 2014, 05:38:57 PM
Looking for up to 8x S3, and up to 6x S2.

Willing to pay a fair price, and open to negotiations.
269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: August 14, 2014, 06:21:22 PM
DHL just attempted to deliver 4 packages to me from AMT in Hong Kong (i believe).

I cancelled my orders months ago, and have not yet received a refund.

I have not received any shipping notice, or a list of whats in the packages.    DHL will attempt delivery again tomorrow and per my legal counsel i will likely decline the delivery and have it sent back to AMT.

My order #'s were #15xx for 2 x 1.2 Th/s Miners, and 2 x 3.2Th/s Miners (which they do not even produce).

I hear they make good paper-weights.   Cool

I have agreed to sell Paradigmflux 36 S1, including PSUS.

I will not disclose the terms.  I will let that be at the buyers discretion!

277  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: June 25, 2014, 09:39:03 PM
100 PH of chips wow I knew it was going to be a big number but had no Ideal. Well I was hope to outrun the difficulty jumps by 10% or so, but maybe I will just hope that I can keep up. It should be a fun ride at any rate...

Not to worry gents.  Assuming .8 w per GH (we have to be much higher than that currently......)

With the current growth rate, the network is on pace to consume 1,000 MW by December, 10,000 MW in less than a year, and 122,000 MW by the end of 2015. aaaaand for funs, 10,699,343 MW by the end of 2016....which, coincidentally, is about 10x the total generational capacity of the entire USA.

Now obviously efficiency is going to improve, but there is a lower bound that we will rapidly approach in the near future.  Also, all of the lower cost sources of power will be exhausted in the next 6-9 months, and marginal expansion will be that much more difficult.

What I am trying to say is, diff jumping by 20% every 12 days is completely unsustainable.  Unless the entire world devotes its energy generation to mining.  And subsidizes the power cost.

Just to clarify.....the June 18th date is in the United States......no the Forum June 18th.  It is still June 17th in my neck of the woods.  Sorry for the confusion, should have looked closer when I posted.
