261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do? on: April 26, 2018, 06:19:58 PM

Please be more specific about the tokens you hodling.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 26, 2018, 04:09:17 PM
Invest in projects, not coins!

If you are looking for making decent profit out of newly listed coins which likely have ended their ICO recently, then look for their project and its future potential. I have got lucky in WAN, POWR, ICX. Try to analyze their reach and the hype. But do research if the hype is justified. Hype can help in short term gains, but can get you rekt in long term.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Cryptocurrency on: April 26, 2018, 04:02:24 PM
Have you heard that telegram created an internal cryptocurrency ? Imo this is the next big trend, I believe that amazon, google and facebook will follow that in the future, and Bitcoin will be dethroned
Cryptocurrencies are actually the future of monetary landscape.

Many companies, governments and banks are working on developing their own blockchain that will likely to be supported by some cryptocurrency. We will definitely gonna see many currencies from big names in future. But they might not be as decentralised as Bitcoin. Bitcoin being pseudonymous and decentralized store of value can be face changing currency. It gives financial independence to the people. As happened Zimbabwe and Venezuela where people due to high inflationary state currency, went into cryptocurrencies.
264  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [24-04-2018] Iran’s Central Bank Has Banned Banks From Dealing In Cryptocurrency on: April 26, 2018, 03:53:01 PM
I don't understand what these Asian countries are getting by banning the payment gateways. First, India and now Iran. This instead of helping in countering the money laundering will help in increasing it. People will try to find under the table ways to trade cryptocurrencies. Since, there isn't any ban on the cryptocurrencies itself, people can go for P2P trades which will be more anonymous and hence, can lead to illegal activities. Atleast through banks, they had access to the details of the traders.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is totally red, everywhere. on: April 25, 2018, 08:28:37 PM
Due to ERC 20 tokens, hacked in one or more exchangers market turned to be negative
The recent phishing attempt due to server compromise and the BatchOverFlow smart contract bug due to which excganges have suspended erc20 trades has lead to a negative sentiment. Moreover, the massive upward rally has to undergo a correction before touching another ATH. Alao, Futures are being shorted which has created a sell off pressure. All this have combined to give a negative sentiment. But the downtrend won't be a deep one and is expected to change.
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin before April 27 on: April 25, 2018, 08:13:01 PM
I did not understand what should happen on April 27, so that the price of bitcoin rose sharply and we increased our capital by hundreds of times? Or is it just such a motivational text to make people invest in bitcoin faster?
The only thing that i can think of with regards to 27th April is the expiration of futures.

Investors have started shorting BTC and alts alike at the moment and this will continue till coming Friday. Price will suffer for this time. We might not see a major correction. But this shorting will restrict Bitcoin from breaking higher support levels. After Friday, I think market will gain back the momentum and will ride up. I don't know about the bullish phase, but we are definitely in bullish sentiment.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) on the rise on: April 25, 2018, 08:09:03 PM
There is a huge update coming for TRX in June that was announced by Justin on his Twitter handle that TRX will be moving away from being an erc20 token which is quite a big news for the Tron. Also, Tron has significant marketcap of $4.68 Billion and thus, is a stable coin. People show trist in it. Also, Justin is quite active and gives weekly report of the development. Investors usually prefer such tokens for investment.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: a turn or a trap? on: April 25, 2018, 07:02:57 PM
We still need to see whether Bitcoin closes above $9k or below. $9k was a tough resistance and it has been broken.
Actually, this is the FUTURES shorting and will continue till friday when futures expire. If Bitcoin somehow  amnages to stay above $9k even under shorting pressure,  then we are definitely in bull zone. Else, price might suffer a major correction soon.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet hack on: April 25, 2018, 06:58:21 PM
The DND server has been compromised. This isn't the problem for only MEW, but many other websites as well. Actually, the havker was able to shift traffic to the malicious website. He was also able to hijacks amazon traffic for 2 hrs.

It is better to not access MyEtherWallet.com for the time being. If anyone still wants to access his funds, you can try Metamask, Exodus or idex for coin transfers. Never ignore the certificate warning that google gives.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: April 25, 2018, 06:50:56 PM
By looking at the market, ETH and the erc20 tokens are looking to have suffered the most. Most of the exchanges have suspended the withdrawal and deposits of erc20 tokens because of the BatchOverFlow smart contract bug which can be exploited by the attacker to cretae an unlimited supply of erc20 tokens as stated by Qryptos exchange. ETH has almost dropped to $600 from yesterday's ATH of $700 which accounts for 14% drop. Maybe the price take the reverse trajectory onec the issue resolves.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I NEO going to be coin of the year? on: April 25, 2018, 05:00:21 PM
NEON wallet updated, some extra functionality on the chain and very promising ICOs choosing NEO as platform because it incorporates compliance and is very fast and cheap. Do you think that this is NEO-YEAR?
There are no second thoughts on the potential of NEO since it is China's biggest cryptocurrency and had surpassed the 12bn$ threshold in past. I am pretty optimistic about it this year and have myself invested more than 2000$ in it. It was quite popular in 2017 as well and is currently ranked as 10th most valued coins. What tells us more about its potential is that it comes from a country where there has been a complete crackdown on cryptocurrencies and it has still somehow managed to keep its name intact amongst the top 10 coins. With more collaborations with the Big Firms, I can only see a positive future ahead.
272  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-23] - India Divided on Whether to Ban Crypto Use on: April 24, 2018, 07:40:13 AM
RBI thinks that they have taken a shrewdest move by not clearing any stance on cryptocurrency and just banning the payment gateways. But most of the big crypto trades are P2P and also by not making crypto legal or regulating it and banning the banks from supporting transactions,  they have given people the option to go the cash way and hence people can hide their incomes easily and this gonna boost the money laundering more. At least, before they were able to keep a tab over bank transactions. Thus, I think goverment is likely to come with regulations.

Yes, looking at current status India it seems government will not promote Crypto Currency as legal tender.
Bitcoin is hardly a legal tender in any country in the world. Most of the countries are regulating it as a property and asset is not being used a as a currency except Japan. So Bitcoin becoming a legal tender in India is out of the scope.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market recovering or just a big joke? on: April 24, 2018, 07:30:39 AM
I thought of it to be the whale's play or bull trap. But this is an euphoria stage. After months of market depression, there's finally a relief and positive movement. People FOMOed. If this is the organic growth, it can easily continue for a month. But if it turns out to be a bull trap, bitcoin will drop badly this time and will again touch $6k. $10k if broken, would be able to attract new investors. Right now, distribution gas increased but not the inflow of dollars in the market.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 advantage is that cryptocurrency continuously increases on: April 24, 2018, 07:25:54 AM
1. Safe: Cryptocurrency uses blockchain technology managed by computers in its network, not any server. Blockchain-based computers will be involved in managing and storing transactions in this network. So, to get the money will have to hack a large number of computers scattered all over the world. This is almost a "mission impossible". In addition, blockchain technology itself uses very sophisticated coding techniques.
Agreed!
Blockchain technology is quite disruptive due to its transparency and safety and hence, has many potential uses.
Quote
2. Full control: Your bank deposits will be controlled by the bank. Even your money at Paypal is also subject to PayPal's control. Both bank and Paypal can "freeze" your account for some reason. However, towards cryptocurrency, you will have full control and management of your account. You can do anything with it. And only you have this right.

This is what makes the cryptocurrency,  a revolutionin in financial lanndscape by changing the traditionalform of monetary system with centralized control.
Quote
3. No inflation: Why does not cryptocurrency be inflation? That is the problem of blockchain technology. At the time of the creation of the currency, the system established the amount it would market. And can not change or increase the number. So, the phenomenon of inflation is not happening.
Not all the cryptocurrencies have inbuilt deflation. Right now, even the Bitcoin isn't technically deflationary until the last Bitcoin is mined. Regarding other crytpocurrencies, we have ripple which is inflationary.
Quote
4. Instant payments: Transactions through bitcoin or other cryptocurrency will eliminate intermediaries, so payments will be made easily and quickly.
5. Low transaction costs: Individuals can easily transfer money to each other without having to go through a bank or any intermediary credit institution. And so the transaction costs are very low.
This could come in advantage and can increase the utility. But there isn't much adoption.
Quote
6. Recognition at the global level: Since cryptocurrency not bound by the exchange rate, interest rate, transaction fee or other fees of any other country; therefore it can be used at an international level without any problems. Thus, it saves a lot of time as well as money when transferring money from one country to another. Cryptocurrency operates at the global level and thus makes the transactions take place quite easily.
Not yet!
With the amount of internet users and the total number of investors in traditional assets, crypto market has failed to attract enough people. Market is still valued at $400 Billion. Not even a 1% of the total mcap of stock market.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is still Green this month. What do you think? on: April 24, 2018, 07:13:01 AM
Surprisingly, Bitcoin is crossing all the upper supports one by one after that instant appreciation of 17%. Firstly, $8300, then, $8600 and now $9000 is successfully broken. There is an accumulation stage before every breakout. If this trend continues till $10k, we can finally confirm a bull trend. If Bitcoin continues in this parabolic traction, altcoin can suffer as the investment will go into Bitcoin and distribution will reduce.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a better payment system? on: April 20, 2018, 05:35:00 AM
Bitcoin is excessively being used for inter countries transactions because of less fees and instant trasfers. This helps in saving a lot on remittance fees. Also, Bitcoin is a major payment system in dark web. Bitcoin can actually be a good payment system but the adoption is quite low and is still dependent upon fiat currency. Bitcoin needs more acceptance by retails and merchants to increase it's utility. Also the high volatility is the major drawback that hinders its use as an effective payment system. People tend to avoid selling a deflationary currency and instead hoard it.
277  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-19] Russia: Telegram Ban Failure Shows Banning Bitcoin is Impossible on: April 20, 2018, 05:25:46 AM
Russian has always been confused when it comes to banning something. They have changed their stand over cryptocurrency banning multiple time. Now this Telegram ban over the allegation of terrorism spreading didn't make any sense. There are many anonymous and also decentralized messengers out there which can very well be used in these activities. In the times of VPN, no ban over internet can be effective. Cryptocurrencies that aren't even centralized can never be actually banned unless internet is disrupted.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) reveals the dangers of cryptocurrency on: April 20, 2018, 05:20:20 AM
I would say there concern is justified. We have some completely anonymous cryptocurrencies in the market that are being used excessively for money laundering and illegal activities. But weren't these activities taking place before cryptocurrencies? What can be more anonymous than cash. Madket is quite small and hence prone to excessive speculation that in turn cause high volatility. But it's been only 10 years since bitcoin came in existence. Market needs time to mature. Cryptocurrencies is a not like traditional financial system and give freedom from traditional monetary system. It's a revolution but yet in early stage.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Finds Support At 8k on: April 20, 2018, 05:14:16 AM
Bitcoin has the actual support at $7900 and the upper support level at $8600. Bitcoin has been hovering around $8000-$8300 for a while now. The next 5-6 days are crucial and will determine the actual price trend whether BTC breaks lower or upper support. I still believe bull hasn't entered the market and hence we will see another dump.

I just hope that the future banning of Crypto currencies advertisements will not affect this developments as it will delayed the pumping process once more.

Bitcoin remain stable at $6k levels when the news of advertising ban surfaced. Also, under the excessive selling pressure and some negative news from India, Japan and South Korea, bitcoin didn't break the strongest support of $6k. Hence, these news now don't have any bigger effect on price action. Market absorbs such news without actually panicking. I don't think we ll see any major effect of this advertising ban in future
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please suggest me a wallet.. on: April 19, 2018, 07:49:07 PM
First clear me out whether you are looking for a wallet to hold for long term or for short term investment/trading.

I am looking for a wallet for the long term. But I hope you can advise me both wallets ,, it will be very helpful to me and maybe all those who are looking for information about WACEA and BITCOIN wallet.
For long term HODL, go for hardware wallet like Trezor for Bitcoin storage. Waves isn't yet supported by Trezor. But news is that it is coming soon on Trezor. For meanwhile you can use Chrome lite client or a software wallet or app any pc or mobile which you don't use for anything else as that too act as a hardware wallet. Also, paper wallet is another option.

For short term investment and trading, you ll need BTC and WAVES for frequent transactions. So, keep some on the exchange you frequently use for trading but make sure it is some famous one. You can go also for online wallets and apps like Mycelium, BTC wallet, Electrum etc.
