1181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price hits $100 000 in 2017 on: November 18, 2016, 11:35:27 PM
Let's say something happens in 2017 and Bitcoin's price per bitcoin reach $100 000 per bitcoin, what would you do first? I know most people

would sell at that price, but who would do the buying? Security will have to be your first concern, because at that price... Bitcoin will garner a

lot of attention from hackers and scammers.

Would Bitcoin reach a price, where it is simply not economically viable to buy it... { even if you buy only a few Satoshi's }

A lot of people {those who did not do their research} seem to think, bitcoins can only be bought as a whole unit.. 1 bitcoin at a time. I think,

as the price rise, we should emphasize the fact that you can buy fractions of a bitcoin. Some of my friends thought you can only buy whole

bitcoins, and they only started buying, when I explained it to them. We have our work cut out for us, when Bitcoin reach higher price

brackets.  Grin

It's just impossible, a pump like this Smiley . I think there is 1 possibility around billions of chance!
And a lot of people will become really rich in just some months!

Probably we need 100 years to see a big pump like this !

1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stops you from opening a local bitcoin exchange business? on: November 06, 2016, 03:42:20 PM
Besides the security issue of handling lots of money in public what's stopping people who are familiar with bitcoin from opening a 'local bitcoin guy' business charging 10-15% for changing cash into btc?  This would be the same service people list on Mycelium Local Trader and localbitcoin.com.

I think the most issues is related to money laundering. Because for some fiat money you can risk a sue, or bigger problem with justice.
more over it's also risky make an exchange with stranger, you can't know who is your client (maybe a terrorist, criminal)...
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 06, 2016, 03:37:49 PM
People find gambling so funny, because they hope to get rich with it!
but talking seriously only bookmakers and casinos are the only people that get a real advantage from gamble.
Some times a lucky one get a super jackpot.. but how many people lose before?

1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, which is better? Monero or Dash? on: October 09, 2016, 07:14:02 PM
I don't use Monero. I have only used some years ago Dash, and I have a good impression for the good balance between anonymous transaction and fast confirmation with DashCoin.
1188  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: October 09, 2016, 07:10:41 PM
I use bitcoin as currency and for investment when I found some profitable idea in crypto-world.
But using bitcoin as currency or for signing smart contract or using blockchain technology is the best use we can do with it Wink
1189  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you earn from bitcointalk? on: September 26, 2016, 07:07:43 AM
if calculated against the dollar then I at least get 5 USD per day. I do a variety of ways such as the signature campaign, trading and faucet. I will continue to improve my ability.
5 dollar a day here is a pretty decent amount you are earning in the bitcointalk and i see you are in the same signature campaign as i am in but i am earning about 10usd only per week so i think i could do much better here like you.

Yes but how many time you need to make this activity on forum? because if you need every day at least a couple of hours, I think it's more easy get a local job, because you can earn more (and in Curriculum vitae you can't put as experiences "signature campaign" Wink )

1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 13, 2016, 10:45:37 AM
one of the best way is "work". offer a service, make some work. no more than this to create an income (if you start from 0)
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 13, 2016, 10:00:26 AM
What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none gambling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  Roll Eyes

the worst? playing in a scam site that doesn't issue payouts or get seized by police Sad
1195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Make a Living Sports Betting? on: August 13, 2016, 09:54:33 AM
Hi!

I would like to know if it's possible to make a living betting in a sports e.g: a sports I manage and have knowledge about.

I have around 100k fiat in BTC to get as my bankroll.

What ROI can i expect yearly?
Any bankroll management tips?

Thanks

Yearly 7-21% of profit I think is a good ROI.
If you win more probably you risk more, and you are betting with an high bankroll, so you risk to loss all and be unemployed Cheesy again.
1196  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 19, 2016, 08:56:17 AM
Of course UFO as dictionary description are real!

UFO: any unexplained moving object observed in the sky

ALIENS are real in the movie, in the books, and probably somewhere in the universe Tongue or probably they are on the earth but to smart to be identified.
1197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket Online 5 x $1000000 Golden Tickets on: July 19, 2016, 08:53:33 AM
I have seen the main page before it is down and I see 19999999 available tickets. So how much the ticket has been sold so far?
Thats one ticket down 4,999,999 to go(maybe the total tickets were 20m mentioned by op above) before they draw the 5th winning ticket. This kind of lottery is still hard to believe $1 to $1000000.
Yep and you will probably find that the 1 ticket that has already been sold was bought by the OP and will turn out to be the winning ticket, fancy that coincidences can happen  Tongue

if you buy a ticket there is 50% of chance against OP Smiley
now it's a 100% sure OP win! Buy another 4 tickets pcme and you win 5 millions of dollars.
I am pretty confident this is a rigged lottery Tongue

1199  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of 0.04 BTC required on: July 18, 2016, 11:57:45 PM
I thinked you were requesting 0,01btc ,that should be something near those, the ammount you are asking nowadays only hero or some senior with some green trust may get from some lender here, you know that your account isnt worthing those soo try to readjust the ammount soo maybe someone can fund your loan.

originally i was looking for 0.1 BTC using my steam account as collateral but i later learned that steam accounts are not good collateral. now im looking for 0.04 or as close to that as i can get using this full member account as collateral. bctalkaccountpricer.info says its worth 0.04021875. im not to familiar with account sales or loans so maybe that site is not accurate but thats what im hoping to get.
bctalkaccountpricer.info overvalues accounts due to the fact that it only has an arbitrary algorithm that does simple math depending on your activity and "post quality" which is only accounted for in terms of characters, not real post quality. Usually people don't use their own pricings for accounts.
so what would my full member account be worth in your opinion?

I hope this is a real lend request and not masked sell.
your account has no value or great value. depends on you because you are the owner or who create it.
so for this loan you can ask between 0,008-0,012 no more I guess but it's not your account value only the money people could trust to you using your acc. as collateral
1200  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: July 18, 2016, 11:47:38 PM
I hope soon, because we need an electroshock on market caps, plus new users, new services, new way to spend the coins.
