261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another major DeFi attack on: October 26, 2020, 11:20:11 PM
An exploit in DeFi protocol Harvest Finance has caused over $25 million in funds to be stolen. Most of these funds have been traded for renBTC and mixed through Tornado Cash.
The protocols native token FARM has fallen 65% in value.
It's possible that this could be an exit scam since Harvest Finance's anonymous devs supposedly have an admin key that can drain the protocol's contract.
The scams are popping up in the hype market of DeFi every week and scammers are taking advantage of the hype and the lesson here is that do not invest in anything that have anonymous developers, if people did not learn that basic from the ICO shit days then they have to be blamed.

Heading should be, another shitty scam in DeFi Tongue.

Kieron Pollard had 15 consecutive wins as the captain, and he may have to deal with a loss today. Pathetic bowling by the Mumbai Indians. After setting up such a good score in Abu Dhabi, they are unable to defend it. RR just need another 52 runs from 6 overs. Almost all the Mumbai bowlers have gone for more than 10 runs per over. Bumrah is having two overs remaining. Only he can do any miracle for MI.
So it will be some kind of record for Kieron Pollard to win 15 consecutive matches as a captain and they should have won the match if not for the performance by Ben Stokes and this is the first time he scored something meaningful for the team and the series is getting tougher and the every team is battling out to get a spot in the semifinals.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: October 22, 2020, 01:57:17 PM
Even the summer Olympics have been targeted by cyber actors as well.
Tokyo Olympics: Russian hackers targeted Games, UK says.
We don't know what incentives these hackers will get from breaching, except disrupting it, what a kill joy.
It is kind of funny to see the blame put on Russian Hackers all the time, what happened here i bet there is no damage nor the article is specifically telling that they hacked something, these are just speculations and nothing else and with the US elections coming up i am sure there will be another propaganda telling that the elections were manipulated by the Russian Hackers just like last time  Cheesy.

Dinesh Karthik's captaincy has been unimpressive so far. Not only he is sticking with failed players, he is also sidelining performing players such as Lockie Ferguson. And the less talked about his batting, that much better. Today he made 4 runs from 14 balls. Earlier I was thinking that Kedar Jadhav was the slowest batsman in this IPL. Karthik is giving him tough competition.
Dinesh Karthik handed over the captaincy to Eoin Morgan when they lost to RCB on Oct 12, the team picks are done by the management if i am not wrong and they have some injury concerns in their camp as well. When it comes to form Dinesh Karthik is struggling but we could give him a pass today as everyone struggled.

In middle, I have enjoyed some matches of KKR. and the performance also enough good. But today's match is ridiculous. And some are blaming Dinesh Kartik only. But I will not blame on Kartik. Most of KKR players are playing bad. None can give the performances like previous years. what the reason actually? Maybe they were not mentally prepared to play IPL in this year due to Covid 19?
The Covid bubble can be a reason for their performance but the main reason i see is that their big players have not delivered, they still are not settled with the proper team combination and they only included Lockie Ferguson in the last match and he showed his class and helped the team win the match. If they can pick the best combination then they will perform as a team as they have the talents.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 21, 2020, 03:30:45 PM
What is happening in the KKR match, how come all of a sudden the pitch started aiding fast bowlers and spinners, did they change the wicket for this match as the ball is seaming and bouncing and if they really did change the pitch it is a foolish decision by the KKR captain to select batting and now they are struggling to put runs on the board as they are 68 for the loss of 7 wickets and with a win here RCB will be moving to second position.
266  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bank account freeze by cyber crime after trade in localbitcoins on: October 21, 2020, 02:08:59 PM
I read that Cryptocurrency trading is ban in India maybe they are having a crackdown or some sort so you should present your arguments with the help of a lawyer.
There is no trading ban in India and all the exchanges are running smoothy despite the occasional fake news coming out about a complete ban. Here is this situation what he has to do is to if the bank authorities are delaying in sorting out his issue with the account he can approach the ombudsman and they will investigate the issue and sort them.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: October 21, 2020, 12:44:53 PM
Thanks for the update, I was wondering if a 2 minute game would make a huge difference for both fighters? but anyway as long as I've seen them on the ring again that's fine. Let's just hope this would not result to any serious damage to both fighters since they will not use a protective gear.
This is an exhibition fight and i really do not think that they will go head hunting as their main aim is to raise money and not to prove that they are the baddest fighters as they are well passed their prime, the intriguing factor is that these fighters were supposed to fight during their fighting career and it never happened and the rules for an exhibition is always flexible according to both these fighters.

I am also not understanding straitgy of CSK management why they are stick with players not performing good constantly and bringing themself down very badly because they have very good players in back and they can do much better with them but going again and again players those are not doing good is wired because this is worst happening with them.
Actually it was surprising to see them struggle to pick a winning combination even though the team they pick are not giving the desired results. The team management and the captain should be blamed for this lackluster season.

~
The problem is CSK does not have the team members to replace any of these players, loosing Suresh Raina is a big factor and they do not have any players that could replace Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson that could boost their batting line up and then there is a limit to play only four international players and Sam Curran is playing well and then the only option is Bravo and now he is injured and hence they picked Hazlewood who bowled really well and it is unfortunate that Imran Tahir is not able to play.
Loosing Suresh Raina is a factor but they have young talents like Narayan Jagadeesan and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the team and they are not even giving them the opportunity to play, instead they are continuing with Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake Costs User $1.1 Million in AAVE on: October 20, 2020, 10:48:58 AM
This keeps happening over and over again. A user of the decentralized finance platform AAVE mistakenly sent 28,050 AAVE tokens, worth approximately $1.1 million, to the token's contract address. There are now discussions about possibly restoring the user's funds.
This is not the first time i am hearing about these silly mistakes and since these are centralized platforms they can return the funds, so it is not a big deal, these centralized platform can always return these coins if the developers are pressurize, it is a good thing for anyone making these silly mistakes but what i do not understand is that why would anyone make these kind of silly mistakes which would cost them millions.
270  Local / India / Re: INDIAN ECONOMY, POLITICS & SOCIETY on: October 19, 2020, 10:56:54 PM
There, thats a weight off my heart for now. I hope things don't really go that bad as we simply cannot afford that as a society considering our demographics.
The fact is that we have stooped to a level of no return, the economy was sinking well before the corona pandemic and now the government will blame everything on the pandemic and the media channels blindly supporting everything the BJP government will run with that propaganda. If you look at all the media channels they really do not talk about the problems India is facing all they do is to add flavor with SSR and the drugs people are taking and for the past 3 months these channels were spreading the false narrative while ignoring the failures of the government.

Chennai Super Kings once again played a wonderful game like they did in the past in this years IPL and the player of the day is once again Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav. I am confused why they are not able to pick the best team while sticking to players that are not performing and ignoring Imran Tahir who is one of the best spinners in T20 and performed well in different franchise cricket but he is not getting a place in this team.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 19, 2020, 01:06:45 PM
Anything is possible in cricket and after Chris Gayle coming back KXIP are a different team now. It is tough for them to win all the five matches but it is not impossible. They will give a tough fight to DC in the next match that I am sure.

At the moment DC are on top in the point table and they are playing exceptionally well as a team in this season of IPL.
If you look at the teams that are winning consistently they have tear away fast bowlers who could bowl at over 145 kmph and yesterday it was Lockie Ferguson who took the team to victory with his sheer pace and DC have two fast bowlers that could trouble Gayle, so it is not an easy task. As a fan we will see good contest and that is what IPL is providing in the past few matches as every matches were really close.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: October 15, 2020, 11:01:52 PM
In my opinion, 1 dollar per coin seems a bit impossible to me because if Tron by any chance reaches $1 then that will mean a $100 billion market cap for the project which seems way too high for me.
This is a common prediction theme for everyone for all the coins that are below a dollar. It is easy to come up with these valuation but everyone need to take into consideration the number of coins in circulation as well and all these coins have a very upper circulation limit and that will not help the case either. So having a logic in prediction is always the smart choice and if the developers can fulfill their promise the price will increase.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 14, 2020, 08:30:57 PM
Stokes and Samson got out in quick succession and the downfall started from there. When Riyan Parag fell victim to a silly runout, their fate was sealed. Chasing even medium-sized targets have been difficult during this season. The toss is playing a very prominent role here.
DC is having a good bowling unit and so is the reason they could come back in the game by picking wickets and it is a fact that toss is a crucial aspect in this IPL as chasing is difficult as the pitch becomes slower as the match goes but i was really impressed with the pace of Nortje who bowled a 157 kmph ball and i think he is the fastest bowler in world cricket right now.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 14, 2020, 05:42:52 PM
Feeling the excitement of the match DC vs RR. RR need just 37 runs in their next 24 balls where the required rate just under 8. Strike rotation is important at that point since it's not easy to play a new batsman. Looking forward an easy win for RR.
Rajasthan Royals could have won the match easily but then Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada bowled some serious pace in the final overs and that made the difference and Nortje was clocking at over 150 kmph and his slowest delivery was around 133 kmph which is funny considering those are the stock delivery for some bowlers  Cheesy.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 14, 2020, 04:05:15 PM
Rajasthan Royals stands bottom second on the points table, while Delhi Capitals stands at the second position from the top. This is truly a pressure game for Rajasthan to stay on the league. Possibly a score between 170 - 180 will increase the winning chances, and in this league Delhi Capitals have lost the matches chasing the target. Based on the fact, this match can be a winning for Rajasthan Royals.
If you are looking at the sheets Rajasthan Royals has the team to chase down 161 runs and the bowlers that could trouble them is Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin and if they play smartly against these two class spinners then they have the batting dept to win the match as they have a deep batting line up. The case in on and Rajasthan Royals started well and it is an interesting match.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: October 14, 2020, 03:01:05 PM
~
There are two factors that should be remembered here. Back in 2017, many of the ICOs were valued in a fair manner, and some of them were even under-valued. That situation has changed now. Even projects which have not completed the first phase of development are targeting 40 million or 50 million USD as the soft-cap. And the second thing to remember here is that the success rate of the ICOs is on steep decline ever since 2018. With every passing year, the success rate goes down.
Was it really a fair valuation, everything was inflated and hence when the bubble burst there is no recovery and many project closed down because they were not able to survive the fall and the end result is that the investors lost money while the developers bails out making ton of money. Some of the promising projects are still active and they are recovering whenever the market rises.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK hospital launches rehab programme for bitcoin addiction on: October 14, 2020, 12:20:06 PM
any one knows how many patients they treat in this rehabilitation program, this is junk program no body requires bitcoin rehabilitation they are better off allocating their funds for alcohol rehabilitation, because it makes more sense.
The funny aspect is this, the rehab program will be taking care of all the junkies and addicts and they might do a survey that anyone of these junkies used bitcoin and then they can represent that as bitcoin addicts  Cheesy Cheesy. Not heard about a rehab facility that could cater for financial addicts even though there are gambling rehabilitation centers.

The catchy headline world over is what the hospital was looking after and they got it by adding bitcoin  Cheesy.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 13, 2020, 11:14:19 PM
In my opinion, bitcoin will not be replaced forever, because every altcoin price movement follows bitcoin price movements, if someone says Ripple will replace bitcoin, it's just an opinion without a clear prediction
One thing i can tell is that Ripple will not be the most used coin if you are here because of the decentralized market. Do you really think that people will be having a huge interest on a centralized coin which is highly unlikely. At the end of the day if there is any coin to replace bitcoin it will be a fork with a much better scaling solution and that is the only hypothetical theory i that regard.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 13, 2020, 09:39:47 PM
I disagree that these drops are a small thing, they are very big because none of them are like bitcoin itself, bitcoin could have a drop because it is the first ranked coin and it will come back, none of these can drop and make it back to where they used to be.
I agree that you cannot compare these coins with bitcoin and the fact remains that the hype took the market for a huge rally and the bubble will burst and hence we might be seeing a huge correction in the DeFi market and the recover depends upon the strength of the project. I am yet to dive into the hype completely but trying to understand what is going on.
