261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Auto-Trader Feature for Crypto Purchases on: November 06, 2019, 11:47:33 AM
Recently, I read an article where an Australian crypto exchange Independent Reserve has introduced the "AutoTrader" feature for its clients to purchase their crypocurrencies automatically. This feature will allow customers to set automated rules and strategies for trading cryptocurrency. Also, it includes scheduled bank transfers, which would allow customers to dollar cost average (DCA) their cryptocurrency purchases.

Quote from: CEO of Independent Reserve
“Autotrader allows users to buy smaller parcels of cryptocurrency at regular intervals, for example daily or weekly or monthly. This limits their exposure to price fluctuations, especially compared to customers that may enter the market in a large way, and then see the market move against them,” the CEO stated.

My question: If we use AutoTrading feature, will it really benefit us? Anyone who is using that feature can share your experience here?

By using autotrade feature this mean we're not monitoring our trades and just same as investing. So rather than using this autotrade which the profits is not sure yet, why just holding a coin for long time investment and we don't have to worry about the result of our trades. Or we can invest in stocks or other clear investment that can give passive income rather than using this feature. But it's up to the people, maybe if the bots can make a big profits in everytrades it could be worth to buy
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huobi forcing out US traders out on: November 06, 2019, 10:52:50 AM
It seems like Huobi has finally had enough and wants to push every US trader out of their exchange because of the strict regulations Americas have with crypto. Although they have a US based exchange that US citizens could use, having these different exchanges could be quote confusing don't you think?

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-global-to-freeze-us-customer-accounts-by-mid-november/amp

Yeah just like binance they seperated the traders from US into different exchange and they created Binance US. I think they made this kind of decision is beside america's regulation for crypto is also because from teh statistic american is the biggest country crypto ownership that beats china. So, i think it's okay if they only have to trade with their fellow americans because they will still have decent volume
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: November 06, 2019, 09:41:09 AM
This is nice on the part of bitcoin that it is cleaning market and making it possible for investors to get rid of useless projects. I am relaxed that now there would be only useful and decent projects available for investments which can reduce stress for investors. I am in the favor of bitcoin dominance because it is ruling altcoins very well.
Domination will still not go down, and alt will still face a dramatic ratio of low-scale movements with a downward trend very often. if the investor you are referring to is a trader, that makes sense. But for investors who still care about the new shitcoin will continue to exist. I highlight the pressure on altcoin and this still applies to everything because of bitcoin, but it hasn't had a big influence to make many altcoins knocked out, they just go down because of market sentiment.

Investors are just trusting BTC right now due to many scam projects from altcoins and may old altcoins is experienced a failure and fall down from top 100 ranking in CMC.
Investors need more guarantee to invest in altcoins because right now they're still not believing them even the top altcoins are having a slow growth.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bakkt’s Bitcoin Futures Volume Explodes 260% to Trade $11M in 24 Hours on: November 06, 2019, 08:41:12 AM
I think by announcing that Bakkt is collaborating with Starbuck to receive bitcoin payments, this is the reason why Bakkt volume has increased easy. on the other hand XI the Chinese president also announced that China would adopt a blockchain.

Yeah partnership with 2 biggest company in the world microsoft and starbucks made the investors are not doubt to invest in this future alts. It has many upcoming events in the future and i think this is gonna be the biggest rival for ethereum in the future. People are starting to see cryptocurrency world since cryptocurrency hook a lot of big companies to their projects.
It's a great start for the world of full cryptocurrency in the future
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Application (Dapp) on: November 06, 2019, 06:59:29 AM
I'm curious about storing our assets online, mostly online wallets. Do you think there's possibility the developer collect our address, especially our private key?
I usually store my coins on a paper wallet and we all know storing in a cold wallet is the safer way to secure all assets.
Do you think it's secure to import our address to an app? Is there any identification of a real decentralized application to trust our keys.

It depends on how trustable the app. If the app is secure enough, they will save our private keys in their database encrypted and they won't do anything with instead of just save it.
But don't ever import our our privatekeys into news apps that haven't tested the security yet, our wallet might be stolen then. And also any wallet websites and wallet providers never recommend us to login with private key because it's really sensitive to upload.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: November 06, 2019, 06:22:29 AM
for example: prize allocation for a campaign (signature) is around 2,000,000 tokens and if the project only has 1 participant in the campaign (signature) and when the project has been completed or not scammed, is it true that the participant will get the sum of all tokens (signatures)?
or maybe not at all,  for other reasons?

I think yes because it's allocated as they promised, and it's divided for how many participants.
But i think if only 1 signature participants the project won't be famous to many people and the project maybe will not funded well, so the tokens would be worthless at the and of the campaign.
And oftenly projects with many bounty participants is more worth to join because the token price will be more valuable because it's promoted by many people
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: November 06, 2019, 01:39:37 AM
One thing to be careful of is in crypto there are TONS of traders who have never traded anything before and got introduced to the concept with crypto. That means there are lots of beginners, and a good number of them are trying to push out educational content on YouTube and Twitter even though they really don't know what they're talking about. Trading concepts are essentially the same as stocks or other asset classes (particularly forex), so you can easily learn with a resource like BabyPips, a very popular resource forex traders. https://www.babypips.com/

One good blog post that is focused on crypto and that goes over chart basics, a few indicators, and concepts like arbitrage is this one https://medium.com/coygo-blog/how-to-read-cryptocurrency-charts-analyze-order-books-and-trade-confidently-d4f9b7a2df4f

Also shout out to the CrackingCrypto guys, they do a solid job of education around trading with daily live streams and chat groups https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFb4w6SIGke1YMRoFwsdWCA

Maybe the technique is similiar thing with anytrade kind of trades like stocks or forex, but i think cryptocurrency price movement is differen with others.
It's decentralized and the movement is so agile, it can go up and down in a really short time with many factors that's why many pro traders cannot conquer the crypto price movement.
I think there's no professional traders with pure cryptocurrency portofolio because it has no pattern and it's hard to make a certain income
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 05, 2019, 11:47:21 PM
I just rememberen back in middle 2017 when i was started trading. I always trade without any knowledge of basic trading more over the technical knowledge. But i've made thousand dollars. My capital was 200USD and at the early of 2018 i've made around 2k USD. Which means like 6 months of trading i've tenfold my capital. I feel like i have a pure talent and doesn't even need any learning of trading. But disaster happened when i was have trade on NXT for getting ignis airdrop and also i'm buying XRP at 4$, i was trapped there and i've lost like 80% of my assets in a short time.
Since then, i've learned a lot trading mechanic from many reference and right now i could do day trading with 2-3% profits eachday
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: November 05, 2019, 07:51:39 PM
The market will recover, but unfortunately, nobody knows when it is going to happen. Nobody can predict crypto prices and the only thing we can do right now is to buy great altcoins and wait for a miracle to push the market up.

Market on recovering progress right now, but it goes slowly. For long term investment buying btc right now is quite promising no one predict btc price will under 15k after halving, at least we can get 100% ROI in one year and the chance is almost mote than 80%. And for alts, right now is still up and down, worth for daytrading
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: November 05, 2019, 03:23:12 PM
I would say majority of the market value of cryptos are bleeding right now, not only altcoins. Despite of the expectations of the majority that the market will soon recover, the situation still frustrates most of the investors right now and we just cannot blame them for doing so. We should encourage them to be somewhat positive still, and to be patient in order to avoid regrets once recovery occur. Just wait and avoid making risky decisions at this moment.

Yeah we have to encourage the market and not blaming the market and if you have experienced loss please don't spread the hate about cryptocurrency. Because people outside will see cryptocurrency is a bad investment and a bad currency because many people that experienced a loss or a scam always blaming cryptocurrency is a bad thing, this will cause many investors are afraid to invest on bitcoin even though cryptocurrency is really futuristic
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: November 05, 2019, 02:14:14 PM
It's a good idea because you don't need to invest in mining and trading. But we don't know if everyone here can produce good quality content,

Maybe let's try it first and pay attention, I'm sure we all have the ability to do it. Just give it a value and you take it seriously I'm sure you can overcome it and we will be successful here.

In addition to creating content, we can get free tokens from the referral program. Referral program is one of the popular ways to get tokens because it can help new projects get funds from the sale of tokens

Referral programs are often abused by many people, they created many emails and create many wallets then created many accounts for receiving multiple rewards.
I think referral programs need more strict for their programs, such as doing KYC or something like that to prevent reward abusing from many people
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: list top 10 exchange in the market on: November 05, 2019, 01:17:17 PM
so far they provide a good platform because the top exchangers have strong security, and the coins listed in them usually have a good volume in the rankings. so I think the top 10 exchanges are good, what distinguishes maybe the volume and some features available
to choose an exchange I think is not just a matter of ranking and volume. try some and judge them. because for daily trading I usually choose not only because of large trading but the convenience of using features that are simple and not difficult will be the main choice.

Yeah volume exchanges sometimes are manipulated by bots, to determined good exchanges we have to try it by ourself. Do research with their performance, transaction speed, fees, and other things and compare it with another exchanges. Eventhough the best and the most famous exchange right now is binance, but i think there are also many good exchange with the same quality as binance but not famous yet
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto volatile again, Whats stopping you from trying Options Trading? on: November 05, 2019, 12:14:00 PM
You can hedge your trades to protect them from incurring losses.
Remember, shorting is a dangerous game, why not try options and limit your risks peacefully?  Cool
Thank you for giving an insight to options trading, i have never tried that till now but after seeing your post i have to study how to trade in the options market, i usually monitor the market in future market understand how the trend is going when i am planning to trade but never entered the market till now, will be spending some time to study the market throughout and i will update it here, if i can have your telegram ID it would be great so that i can clear some doubts regarding options trading.

I've heard a website that completely serve the lessons of trading options and i've watched the video of their website and as a beginner i feel like they explained the lessons very well and i'm understand what they mean. You can go to https://optionalpha.com/ , they serve videos to watch there are many moduls to expert and it's best thing to watch during free time
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex a good exchange for trading? [Exchange review] on: November 05, 2019, 10:22:06 AM
For me bitfinex is one of the good old exchange which still exist and still have decent volume until now , it's recommended to trade there and i've tried several times with no regret or any errors from the exchange. Even binance is dominated the exchanges right now but bitfinex is still having a big volume
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: November 05, 2019, 08:37:07 AM
I will stick in buying bitcoin and ethereum and dont have high expectations on altcoins so far, for now.bitcoin and ethereum is what i like most.
You have a good choice picking up those two, We are just the same also buying bitcoin and etherium, Actually this two is most popular in crypto.
Their are lot of altcoins also in market but we cant tell if those are trusted to buy or we can hold them for time until the price take back in a high price.
But in fact we should need time search for them as of now their some humor that have many shitcoins spreading everywhere.

If you guys can found potential coins you can make profits even in this current market condition. I think this year is the worthest year for doing a swing trade because the market movement for alts is agile and we can get around 5% each day if we know how to do it. And also exit a trade in a right time is also important to do to manage loss
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: November 05, 2019, 05:35:52 AM
Today I've decided to sell my car to invest in IEO or ICO.
Is my decision right?
Is it with a lot of investing in IEO can refund my money?

Some icos are worth to invest but it's hard to select which ico that brings profits at the end. But for IEO especially on top exchange like binance or huobi the token's price must be pumped out after the IEO but the IEO token is limited and it's not easy to get it. We have to be lucky and we have to hold many of the token's exchange like bnb to increase our chance to get the token when IEO held
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: November 05, 2019, 03:18:19 AM
free token from airdrop or bounty program.
its no need difficult rule when you join airdrop. and there are many rule when you join bounty program. and this two give you free coin after complete the task. mostly, im join on bounty because airdrop like shitcoin.

Some of airdrops are good also right now and ended with great profits. But we have to do some efforst like KYC or reffering people to get more rewards. But yeah bounty is more profitable when the project is legit. When the project is ended bad we will receive small rewards from our big effort. So, choosing the project first is the core of earning free alts
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 reasons why Bitcoin has bottomed out on: November 04, 2019, 03:27:11 PM
In my opinion bitcoin hasn't reached bottomed out, because based on the analysis bitcoin will drop to $ 7,000. So right now
it's still trying to break the price of $ 10,000 if it fails, only bitcoin will go to the lowest price. The lowest possible price of
bitcoin is $ 7,000. After that bitcoin will go up to the price of $ 15,000. Hopefully the lowest and highest target can be achieved
according to plan. So when bitcoin prices are at bottomed out we can buy again. And if you reach the highest price we can take profit.
It already break the $10,000 since the day it started to burst up in just a single day but of course, after that, the correction started to kicks in and what we saw today's price is the result of that correction.
I think bitcoin wouldn't bottomed out in this two months left and i expect a stable price within that period of time.

Bitcoin stable price won't stand still more than a month, there must be a movement from it in near future either it's gonna up or down. We have to prepare for any condition that will come.
But i'm sure next year bitcoin won't go lower than 7k and people prediction is around 14k-15k , and hoping more after halving. My prediction bitcoin's price peek will be at the end of next year because of the similiarity of the chart from 2016 to 2017
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the solution about CMC fake volume..? on: November 04, 2019, 02:34:44 PM
the exchange of fake volumes will reduce coinmarketcap's reputation, Coinmarketcap should act immediately to remove exchanges with fake volumes, exchanges with fake volumes should be reported immediately so that they no longer operate.

It won't reduce it's reputation because CMC is already did what they should did which calculating realtime the volume of the exchanges transactions. The problem is from the exchange that can't handle the bots transactions and make the volume faking a big result. And sometimes the exchange itself placing bots on their exchange so their exchange looks big
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Today's price drop on: November 04, 2019, 01:37:32 PM
I only believe if this year is a year of recovery even though sometimes the price is corrected too deep but the price can be pumped again later, with the condition throughout the year to this day I feel I know this is a year of recovery. Indeed, we cannot release the domination of the bear market, but with the current prices that are still able to struggle in the same range, then I don't think it should be a concern because the ups and downs of prices are something that is natural.
very good news that is needed by investors who invest and maybe with better conditions will make investors more interested in investing so that the development of the crypto currency will be more rapid the confidence and patience of investors will get results and profits

Yeah media plays an important role for rising of bitcoins again, they have to create a great news for over the world so investors will look at the market of cryptocurrency.
And also the community must have a strong will to create a positive environment to the world, don't spread the hate if you experienced a loss on your trade because that can make people afraid to invest in bitcoins or other cryptocurrency
