I think it's a miner with GPU

There are inevitably others that will have 'the advantage' in one way or another, this is the nature of everything.

Do not let this discourage you. I'm sure someone in the community will release something or another that will help you out. Just as it was in Bitcoin. Why do you think that BITMAIN still uses the miners they sell for the most profitable period of their lives before selling them? They're looking to gain the advantage.

Just as the people who find a new coin that lasts, first... win an advantage.

That's fine! It breeds friendly miner rivalries and fun advancements.

What the devs attempted, with this project, is to watch the advancement of Bitcoin for themselves, at an accelerated rate, and see how the fun unfolds.

There is no mal-intent within any of it. Nor any 'influencing' of one thing or another.

We hope you all have a fun time with us.

What is likely to happen is someone who made a GPU miner will want some gawdawful amount like 3-5 BTC to release it. Can anyone point me to a guide to start learning how to program miners?  Cheesy

Because there is so much difference
62,867,672
It is nicehash
Does that raise the difficulty
https://ibb.co/bF25cm

Can't rent hash at nicehash. This is a new algo and Nicehash doesn't offer it. The person either has a GPU miner, a server, or running VPS. Could be a botnet.
Most likely the person has their own Gpu miner.

So does the POS not begin until block 800000? That would be 4 1/2 years from now.

LETS KILL BITCOIN !!!>.>  Shocked  FORKCOIN CASH EDA ALGO IS DISRUPTIVE BY DESIGN ===>

https://themerkle.com/bch-eda-was-designed-to-cause-bitcoin-network-congestion-former-dev-claims/
^^^^^^
Opinionated allegations unsupported by any evidence whatsoever. If the allegation is that Bitcoin Cash's Chief Scientist admitted that the EDA was designed specifically to cause congestion on the Bitcoin Segwit chain, it should at least be supported by a quote of him saying so. But no. If I had the interest to pursue it, I believe it likely that I would discover that the allegation is a simple lie.

It doesn't matter what the intentions of the EDA were. The effect that it had on both networks were far from ideal. However, now that they implemented DAA, I'm beginning to warm up to BCH. It definitely will be useful for spending. Hopefully Ver can persuade most of his customers to start accepting BCH too.

Maybe Jihan will stop spamming the BTC network. Those high fees are causing most chain hopping miners to mine BTC rather than BCH most of the time.
2626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 15, 2017, 04:15:46 AM
Why can't my account go from newbie to legendary. lol

can someone pls quote this for the image to appear.

100,000 BCC order
10,000BTC

Money.
Insane.

Hmm.. Jihan or Roger?
Anyone have some spare BCH to flash dump through that wall?  Grin

If he proved that he was Satoshi, this would be 10000000 BTC for 1 BCH.  (With no liquidity.)Cheesy

i'm waiting for ANYONE behind this to contact me personally otherwise i call bullshit :-D haa

I give the chances of this actually happening to be about the same as me walking through a wall due to quantum tunneling.
2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 15, 2017, 03:40:52 AM
Be nice to see someone dump 10K BTC for BCH that would create the flippening. especially if it was Satashi Nakamoto. What would he lose? BTC would dump to sub 5000K and BCH would jump to~4000 plus then you get the panic sellers and buyers jumping in.

10K come on Greg Wright I dare you!

obviously he's not satoshi otherwise this would already be 1-1 Wink lol

If he proved that he was Satoshi, this would be 10000000 BTC for 1 BCH.  (With no liquidity.)Cheesy

Circulating Supply 16,801,163 BCH and  BTC 16,678,300, hold bitcoincash or buy or sell?

Sell in small increments when it is going up. Buy in small increments when it is going down. Or dump them all, so someone who wants them can have them.

BCC price is dropping too much  Shocked
i was lucky to sell all my bitcoin cash when it was ~0.12 btc

try this step by step tutorial for how to claim and sell your bitcoin cash on bittrex :

See, a prime example of all the weak hands. Rather than view Bitcoin Cash as a gift, they treat it like they would a cheap whore.  Grin Unfortunately, I still think there is probably still too much Bitcoin Cash in the hands of ingrates. Probably just a little bit longer until the accumulation phase can properly begin.

What are you talking about dude.. bch will only pump if there is more reward for the miners to mine it.

So all I'm seeing is miners jumping around from btc to bch and who knows what else comes in the future..this has a big effect on the price of bch.

New DAA retarget algorithm should keep the chain hopping to a minimum. In fact, I suspect it is designed to attract chain hoppers and keep them around. We will see how this plays out in the next few days, weeks and months.

WTF is this. I'm confused

Just another fork off Bitcoin. Nothing to see there. Has nothing to do with Bitcoin Cash.
2632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2017, 07:37:33 AM

It was declared the wrong chain because it was different than the dev pool chain. https://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools/status/929958628584493056
Nice way to move towards "decentralization."  Cheesy What a waste of most of my Sunday. At least it appears the Honey Badger prevailed today.

Now Suprnova chain is correct chain?? https://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools/status/929965392742756353
Still not pointing my hash to BTG. Need to be certain that they have their shit together. Looks more like shit hitting the fan to me.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 13, 2017, 07:10:28 AM
Finally, Bitcoin Gold has been really de-centralized. It has been launched for miners. Happy mining, everyone.

Whatever!

I just have a personal computer with a GTX 1070. Not going to get rich. But what the hell.

hope you're not on suprnova, sounds like the BTG devs fucked that whole chain

Marvelous!  Roll Eyes Oh well. At least I don't have a farm.

Yep here we go: statement on Suprnova:

Be aware that there's currently a chain-split happening and suprnova's chain could be "declared" as the wrong chain by the dev-team. However, it's the longest chain so usually it should be okay, it's advisable to not invest in mining until the devs give out an official statement. (Watch Twitter)

BitcoinGold mainnet is live. Check your addresses here: https://bitcoingold.org/#features

It took a while. Us miners had to wait for the dev team to gorge themselves 8000 blocks for over 6 hours from launch. I thought a premine was supposed to be done before the launch.  Roll Eyes

You're mining it? Do you have rigs? or renting hash?

The thing just launched and is worth 5% of a Bitcoin. It's insane.
But what isn't?

It won't last long once the exchanges open up the deposits. Everyone and their mom will be dumping this. It is probably more prudent for me just to point my hash at Nicehash. It's paying pretty good at the moment for Equihash.

Didn't BTG mine a bunch of blocks before launching?  Why do they conveniently leave that out of the website?

I wish it was before launching.  Tongue
