Didn't BTG mine a bunch of blocks before launching? Why do they conveniently leave that out of the website? According to the post above, I see now that they mined 8,000 blocks. "FAIR DISTRIBUTION" Hard forking Bitcoin’s blockchain fairly and efficiently distributes a new digital asset immediately to people all over the world who have interest in cryptocoins. Other methods, such as creating coins with a new genesis block, concentrate ownership within a small group.I guess mining 8,000 blocks for yourself is fair.... |
