I think that majority of the members have agreed that excluding lower ranks from a thread is a bad idea and the problem you are having is solvable with a creation of a self-moderated thread although it has a bad reputation you can somehow lessen the damage by explaining it in your OP like a form of Note where you explain that "off-topic posts will be deleted", and if you cannot really stomach having a self-moderated thread you can take your chances by simply reporting the post to a moderator.
2642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM Philippines Helps Universities Provide Blockchain Electives on: February 21, 2019, 03:19:14 PM
NEM is pretty big in the country specially with their recent launch of the Loyalcoin token they have heavily partnered up with a lot of local businesses to make the token more stronger. I wonder if it is somehow connected but I do think its the reason why NEM is making a big move in the country because one of their tokens is doing great in terms of usage and in trading. If this becomes successful maybe top universities will be the one asking first instead of them. Philippines is really attracting a lot of attention from the blockchain industry.
2643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ★ Please read carefully before Install any coin wallet on your device ★ on: February 21, 2019, 02:42:05 PM
3rd party apps containing malware are notorious that even wallets apps from Google Playstore, Apple App store, and even Microsoft's app store contains malware. The only way to really avoid this is installing the official apps from the website and from the direct link given by this wallets directing you to their app in the app store.

Another thing you should know is that even if you downloaded a clean up but you are still downloading different apps from 3rd party sources you make your mobile phone still vulnerable to spyware, so I suggest that you keep your device clean and download apps from their original source instead.
2644  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shop directly on Amazon.com with Bitcoin on: February 20, 2019, 06:09:16 PM
You haven't mentioned any fees using your service which obviously you have as you will be the one paying Amazon with the appropriate payment method.

There are no fees. You pay what the exchange rate dictates at the moment you hit the pay button.

You also haven't provided any kind of information with regards of you not being a scam, such as a legal certification that you are a real business legally operating. By now a lot of members think the same way as I do as we know something is up when we see one.

That is great feedback. This is our business information:
We are Moon Technologies, Inc. a Delaware C Corporation. We are participating in the Entrepreneur's Roundtable Accelerator program in NYC. https://www.eranyc.com/companies/

You can see who I am personally at my Linkedin account: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kennethkruger/

I want to be totally transparent with who we are. We'll be redoing our website soon, so any feedback to make it seem less scammy is helpful. Thank you!

That's strange how can you call yourself a business if you won't be earning something from your product? Is this just a form of goodwill for Bitcoin users or am I missing something on how you will benefit from this kind of service you are offering? On paper it looks good and you seem to have a stacked Linkedin profile but something is still missing for you to be trusted with your service.
2645  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-20] Google Introduces Bitcoin Symbol on iOS Keyboards on: February 20, 2019, 03:50:15 PM
So wait, this is the Google keyboard, but on an Apple machine (yes, I actually am almost Apple illiterate), so you could never do that on Apple before?
I have read the reddit page on where it was talked about and it seems like not all people who are using Gboards (Google Keyboard) on their iPhones have one. Redditors from Europe and Asian countries said that they don't see it on their keyboards.

Suppose the next step will be a Bitcoin Google Doodle perhaps paying tribute to Satoshi Nakamoto. But something tells me I'm too far behind on pop culture to understand why this is a big thing.
It might not be a big thing as this might just be a social experiment for Google if users would really use the next Bitcoin character they have introduced, making my point stronger is the fact that all users have received the BTC sign on their Gboard isn't even a popular app in the app store so I don't even get why they updated the apple version instead of the Android ones.
2646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guide to Crypto Trading Strategy and Risk Management on: February 20, 2019, 02:33:57 PM
Tried this kinds of "free" ebooks several times already where you required to provide your email as they will send it via email, luckily I didn't use my regular email for these kinds of stuff as it will be flooded by email marketing from them, some will send daily some will send in intervals of just hours. Some of the "free" ebooks website I even provided my email didn't even send any ebook at all just some marketing shit for their other products. The worst part is of course the worthless ebooks they have which also contains promotions for their products.

Your website lacks needed information for you to be trusted. You made the website's content as minimal as possible making me think you are hiding something from us. You haven't mentioned any fees using your service which obviously you have as you will be the one paying Amazon with the appropriate payment method. You also haven't provided any kind of information with regards of you not being a scam, such as a legal certification that you are a real business legally operating. 2648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question About Golden Visa - Invest with BTC on: February 19, 2019, 07:10:45 PM
Why make the mode of payment your problem when you can easily convert your BTC to Fiat in that county? You see your main problem here is really not a problem, if you are having second thoughts on how your BTC payments for real estate properts will reflect on your records as investment then go on the safer and proven method which is paying in their local fiat currency. If you are looking to buy lands from people who accept BTC payments then I'm sure you can negotiate them on accepting their own fiat currency.

And also I don't think you need to worry about what you need to pay at all because Golden Visas are only handed out to certain individuals who will reach the minimum amount of investment capital to their country and it doesn't go cheap especially to developed countries like England.
2649  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Blockchain.io domain owner fights back against Blockchain.com on: February 19, 2019, 05:28:10 PM
They do have legal grounds on their claim, blockchain.io is nowhere far from the industry blochchain.com is involved. In trademark battles they tend to always go to who is the oldest who used the name and they also need to prove that the usage of the word "blockchain" will purposedly mislead potential customers of the usage of their business but if blockchain.io has proven that the word itself cannot be owned then the courts will obviously favor them.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 19, 2019, 04:49:37 PM
Fresh news are about Naymar who will not play in coming games because of injury

PSG announced today he'll be out for 10 weeks. He won't get surgery to his foot.

That's a bad news for them, and Manchester United will fancy their chances of qualifying, PSG still do have players than can cause Man Utd big problems if they are fit for the fixtures.
It might increase their chances but not as much as you think, I don't think they can catch up with the two goals PSG have in their first match. The next game will be held at PSG's home so the advantage is on them playing on their match. Neymar didn't even play on their first match so I don't it would make any difference at all, right now Mbappe is their main man and as long as he is on the team they can still repeat what they have done on the first match.
2651  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Send Bitcoin Tips Over Lightning on Twitter on: February 19, 2019, 03:10:23 PM
Is there any official statement coming from Jack Dorsey about this service? I haven't seen any news that they officially allowed such app to monetize Twitter. If this gets popular all the Influencers in Twitter would take advantage of this and they would easily earn money just by literally posting Tweets or pics, if that happens I don't think Twitter would be happy that they won't be getting any piece of the pie. I know Dorsey is a big supporter for Bitcoin but I don't see him agreeing on this kind of monetization program in his website.
2652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not all crypto apps in App stores are safe on: February 19, 2019, 11:34:29 AM
When it comes to downloadable apps may it be exchanges or wallet apps I always look for the announcements in their actual website itself. This way I know that they do have an official downloadable app in the app store, other than that I always prefer on clicking the redirect links being given by these websites so that it leads me right straight to their download page without the hassle for searching it on my own. I have this issue before where a newly launched wallet have several "official" apps in the app store, that got me curious and after some research work I found out that they still have no apps being develop as of the moment.
2653  Other / Meta / Re: Asking to ban of harzard advertisement on this forum on: February 18, 2019, 06:28:47 PM
~snip~
Next nonsense
The operator is running legal since he is operating from that island.
However gamblers are not allowed by law to use that website.Of course they are not being hunted much when breaking that law but still it is against the law.
The main issue here is the advertisment of that gambling website which is clearly done by people from outside of the jurisdiction of Curacao which means they can be hold responsibile for their actions by their local laws.
People are mainly from Europe,North America and Australia where advertsing non legalised gambling websites is a criminal offense.
So what you are saying is only Curacao citizens can play on these gambling websites? Then what can you tell about the Philippine law when it comes to playing in these websites? Keep in mind that this is also the similar situation for most of the countries when play foreign based gambling sites.
Filipino players can legally participate in online casino entertainment as long as the destination at which they are playing is located and regulated outside of the Philippines.
You can read the whole article if you want to but I don't think you will find something clever that you can use against me. Like I said this is a loophole for being a licensed gambling casino and their government can't do nothing if their citizens wants to play with these sites.
2654  Other / Meta / Re: Asking to ban of harzard advertisement on this forum on: February 18, 2019, 04:34:49 PM
All advertised signature campaigns gambling website have only licenses for small islands.
I guess thats enough info to say all are against major jurisdictions.
Dude, if they are a licensed entity on just that "small island" (Curacao) you are referring to it doesn't mean it cannot be played internationally, this gambling sites have found a legal loophole on how they can operate internationally without being licensed in each country it can be played, that is how e-gaming laws works and they allow it. And if there are strict laws in countries these gambling sites you are referring to are blocking their IP addresses so they can't access the website, another measure is they also block and ban accounts if they detect you using a VPN service. So it is really the user's discretion on how they will play in the gambling sites being advertised here in the forum.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction created, but txid not found on blockchain explorers on: February 17, 2019, 05:13:13 PM
Looking at the wallet address itself it only shows up some transactions none of which is what you are referring to so I don't think that the transaction you are looking has push through. It may have been cancelled and it won't ever be sent to the recipient, so I think you should just send another one without worrying for double spending.
2656  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Portfolio apps on: February 17, 2019, 02:38:28 PM
One thing missing about portfolio apps is its own community backing it up. Yes you can see the essentials like the portfolio management and wallet address management as well but they seem to have little to none social interaction with other users of the app. Look at tradingview for instance all of their popular crypto page have social pages where its fellow users shows up their technical or price analysis at the same time other users can comment their opinion on what you have done (look at Tradingview's BTC page for example). So maybe having a good way to interact with other people using the app is a nice feature to lookout for.
2657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 17, 2019, 09:03:10 AM
~snip~

Ok, to clarify <thought it was clear enough> I am looking for countries where you can pay for lottery tickets with your bitcoins. A national lottery is normally a government backed lottery and not some small private endeavor. This is just another tax source for the government to get people to give money towards something that would benefit a few. <That being said, 1000s of people have been made millionaires in my country.>  Grin

I know for a fact that no national lottery are giving prizes in Bitcoin at the moment. I also know a site like Freebitco.in have a lottery that gives bitcoins as prize money.  Tongue
That is also what I know, so far I haven't seen any news about countries accepting Bitcoin as payment for national lotteries. The only news I have seen is some states in the U.S.A. have started to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment for their taxes. So I think this is a good start for the government to open up other avenues on where they will accept BTC as payment in their system such as a government operated lottery.

As much as I want to use Freebitco.in it's not the same as the normal lottery being played locally where your winning numbers are picked by bouncing balls, its not as much thrilling as the real one. The point is you can buy/earn as many tickets you like but you can't pick the numbers you want to play in their lottery, the thing is Freebitco.in is not the same experience as what you want to see in a real lottery.
2658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 16, 2019, 07:12:37 PM
I bought some lottery tickets online and I was only presented with the old traditional payment options and I figured it is time for us to approach these Lottery operators, to ask for a Bitcoin payment option.  Wink
Just for clarifications, are you just asking for these kinds of lottery business to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment? Or are you also including the thought of them having a lottery that has BTC as its prize? If you are just asking for a Bitcoin as a payment option I don't think businesses will be willing to risk their businesses for it, lottery tickets are priced cheaply and just a little 1-3% price movement could affect their income drastically.

So the best option for them is to also have a Bitcoin lottery where their jackpot is Bitcoin as well, in this category of course businesses won't worry about the price of Bitcoin as the prize pot is also BTC.
2659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: being professional client for ICO on: February 14, 2019, 07:02:27 PM
Well it is not as strict as what the United States is doing that most of their STOs or even regular ICOs are only allowed to be sold in a private sale. In Europe crypto regulation is almost non-existent which means if its not yet illegal its legal. So participating in any ICO sales done locally in your European country won't put you under any radar. But just to make sure look for any specific regulation happening in your country as from what I know countries like Italy and Germany are moving faster when it comes to their own regulation for crypto.
2660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to upload image on: February 14, 2019, 06:20:45 PM

I quoted your message to see what link you have but upon checking it seems like you didn't link any image to the proper area. Inserting the image should be like this (try quoting my post to see what I have done as an example).
Code:
[img]<insert the direct image link here>[/img]

example: [img]https://i.imgur.com/QO3QyvP.jpg[/img]
Also if the problem still persists mainly the problems goes to either the image hosting site or there is something wrong with your link. Try re-uploading it to the host or on a different host to see if it is solved, I am using imgur right now.
