2661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting payment unanonymously on: January 01, 2017, 09:14:46 AM
bitcoin is decentralized which means you don't need a website owner to make a bitcoin address for you and give it to you!

you download a bitcoin wallet https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and make a bitcoin address and give that address (public key) to the sender to pay you bitcoin.

and if the only thing the sender sees is your bitcoin address that you just made, he can not know who you are.

but if you announce to the world who you are and if you sell those coins, your identity becomes known.

2662  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to Be a Millionaire? Two Main Rules of Bitcoin Investing on: January 01, 2017, 09:08:23 AM
Wow what a load of crap! 2 main rules of Bitcoin investing - given examples of an early adopter, the guy who bought the 10k coins pizza and a couple of bullshit long-shot speculators giving 'estimations'. Wow  Grin

I want to shake the hand of the person who wrote this.

i am not even going to click on that link because i will never read anything from cointelegraph, it is all crap click baits with poorly written articles and sometimes even they hype and altcoin to get pumped and they get paid.

and it is interesting when i see these news sites only talk about moon and becoming rich, etc when price has already risen and they are sure it is not going to go down.

this article would have been worthy of reading if it was posted in the beginning of 2016 or even in 2015 when price was low and everywhere was full of FUD.
2663  Economy / Speculation / Re: In many parts of the world it is still 2016 on: January 01, 2017, 09:04:33 AM
Hardly

No one is willing to make moves in the last day of the year, or in the first, not even the manipulators, so no sub 900 or above 1000 in 2016 anywhere in the world

bitcoin is not restricted to one country and it is not traded in only one country, so there is not much effect based on the date (being end of the year or whatever) because in many other countries there is still a couple of months till their end of the year.

for example Chinese new year is in 28th of January and similar thing with different dates is true about other countries.
2664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the news on: January 01, 2017, 08:58:57 AM
Bitcoins is also in news in India because of the decision taken by their government and hence people are now moving towards saving money in the form of bitcoins and gold. Smarter people prefer BTC and stubborn people choose gold.

smart people invest in both and only uninformed or those with very little amount of money invest in one of these.

the experienced investors always suggest that when you are investing your money you should diversify. but if you have a very small amount, then choose one and stick with that one. and that is what most people are doing.
2665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need an incentive to make first world population use Bitcoin on: December 31, 2016, 11:58:41 AM
just start swarming the big services with email requests asking them to add bitcoin payment. for example starting asking Amazon and ebay to accept bitcoin, or any other big examples like these two.
then when they start receiving requests like this every day, they will add it eventually. how do you think steam finally gave in and accepted bitcoin after 5-6 years?
then the adoption will also follow.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash is closer and closer to 20$! on: December 31, 2016, 11:50:58 AM
Zcash is already overpriced so that I will suggest to avoid dive into this. Price will go more down and down so hopefully soon it will be around $10 range.
Absolutely correct.Everyone is waiting for price to fall more and this has created stagnation in buying.
Price are going to down further. I do not think one should buy it above $5

in coins like this, nobody is ever waiting to buy them because they are bad coins that will fall more and more everyday. if you check the charts and see the market history you can see how many coins are being dumped on the market every day and those who buy at this price become bag holders until they get lucky and there is pump so they can get out.
2667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why does Chinese exchange only offer BTC and LTC? on: December 31, 2016, 11:33:03 AM
The three main exchanges - OKCoin, Huobi and BTCC only offers two cryptocurrencies.

Why is that?

they get 2 billion dollars daily traded volume on each of these exchanges what else do you want. even if we say a big part of it is fake volume then it is still a very huge volume to make profit from Smiley

besides the rest of the altcoins are either shit with no volume or they have a big volume but that volume is controlled by the preminers.
2668  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2016, 11:27:41 AM
Children of Bitcoins can be told only in the form of a game. But they will not be interested in the details of Bitcoin. They just need to know that there is a form of money

you may be right based on what age you are calling children!
but generally speaking the children these days are so much into things like bitcoin, and anything that is new and technology related and they will learn more about the technical aspect of it than anybody else can.
and it is the older people who are only caring about bitcoin being money and a way to make money for them.
2669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy new year 2017 if Bitcoin price reaches 2000 dollars on: December 31, 2016, 11:21:59 AM
Do you think that this year Bitcoin will finally hit the 2000 dollars mark and beat the previous high?

in 2017 price will continue rising, there is no reason for not rising. everything looks good and there are more good news to come. and price has not risen crazy so i don't see any reason why it should fall either.

Quote
We have recently seen the price just falling short of 1000 dollars for first time in a long while.

better say we recently saw a nice rise to wrap up this year with a very good experience and maximize the profit of 2016.

Quote
Does 1000 dollars act as a tipping point for buying or selling for the majority of Bag Holders?

bag-holders? seriously
i think you have mistaken bitcoin with one of those random things you see on the altcoin board.

Quote
Will you buy less if the price increases further or see this as a sign that the investment is a sound one for cashing out in 2020?

it is always a good investment to buy bitcoin as long as price is not 5 digits.
2670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2016, 11:12:43 AM
bitcoin?  Trump couldn't give two fucks about bitcoin, His only interest is a new arms race with russia and where is the big red button and how to find Russia on a map...

I doubt we will see 2018!!

 Roll Eyes

haha, i hope not.
but actually Trump has been giving so much fuck about bitcoin. have you looked at who he picked for his team? they are all supporters of bitcoin.
2671  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: what happens if on: December 30, 2016, 10:40:34 AM
what blockchain.info does is that they encrypt the wallet file (that plain text that you said) with a pretty good encryption technique called AES-256-CBC and does the encryption inside your browser and then saves the encrypted file on their cloud. so even if the hacker hacks blockchain.info he will get the encrypted version and has to decypher it first. and if your password was decent enough he can not do anything.

2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pushing ETC to $2.00 on: December 30, 2016, 10:32:17 AM
I have heard that ETC will be grow even more.
I dont do much forum talk or that stuff. I just mine for fun.

Now my friend is swapping thousands of euros every time and telling me to swap to ETC.
Yesterday he said i should swap to ETH, which I did and it did nicely, but do people think ETC will also keep growing?

there are two major problems with ETC:
1) it is an altcoin that is being pump and dumped, which means like any other coin it is going to die after it exhausts its pump cycles.

2) it is ETC! we all know that it is the fork, and we also know and have witnessed manipulators dump massive amounts whenever ETC wants to make a upward movement, killing the pump in its infancy.
2673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: December 30, 2016, 10:25:10 AM
Actually fall and down and change in any coin ( wether is fiat or cryptocurrency ) is a natural things .
Well I found 2 days ago that ETH is at very low price for one month Down record , After see this I made buy and it was just magic to increase price slowly but good .

ethereum's pumps have always been good to all of us, you just have to find that bottom which is very hard sometimes, and then buy and wait for the pump to come and sell on top.
i have done it so many times that i lost count, i owe many of my bitcoins to eth profits.

Quote
I Also found that after Bitcoin Bitcoiner are using ETH as cryptocurrency  & find it successful Coin  in online market .

who? what?, can you elaborate?
2674  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: December 30, 2016, 10:20:38 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
Losing is part of successful trading if ini trading amount of lose less than amount of profit, actually losing on trading is part of risk in trading, it is not about fear or not but it is more about how we manage losing on trading.
That is why on trading we must doing cut lost, it is way for managing losing money.

i do not agree.
it is obvious that losing is a part of trading since we can neither control nor predict the price. but how you lose money is important and what you do about it.

some people are making random trades and some are profitable and some are not, then they consider themselves traders.

but a real trader makes each trade count and out of many successful trades one of them turns out bad and then in that one bad trade they pull out and then even turn that one into a profitable trade too by buying at the bottom again.
2675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future looks fantastic, kids love Bitcoin on: December 30, 2016, 10:15:56 AM
younger generation have always been more interested in newer technologies than the oldies. they have always been the ones adopting them the first and then they become popular and it is the same with bitcoin.
these kids are loving bitcoin now and with proper education and guidance they can grow up to be pioneers in crypto currency world.
2676  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 30, 2016, 10:10:33 AM
I think their is no secret of earning, one you can earn through signature campaign if your rank is full member or higher , other you can give your skill for bitcoin, do some trading , so their are so many ways to earn it is upto you which is good for you to earn

You can't earn 0.1BTC in signature campaigns nowadays. But indeed, you can combine all the methods you have to earn bitcoins then you would most likely get 0.1BTC per week. It's not an impossible task, it just takes patience, hard work, working intelligently, and a little bit of luck. I think there are plenty of people earning more than 0.1BTC a week in the forum. If they can do it, why can't we?

many people think earning bitcoin should be different than earning money just because bitcoin has a different name than money (USD and so on).

but in fact it is all the same, with absolutely no difference. you can earn bitcoin the same way you can earn money. and the fact that some people can not earn any bitcoin is either the first thing i said or they are incapable of earning money in real life too. otherwise anybody who can earn money can earn bitcoin too.
they just have to use the same methods but ask for bitcoin in return.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY!!! on: December 30, 2016, 10:05:23 AM
This rally is looking weak now, cant crack $1000 and keeps sliding down. I think New years even is gonna suck because I was hoping for over $1000 and now im expecting the $920 range.

the "rally" is strong still. and what you see now is called correction. and correction is a part and parcel of any rise. whenever there is a rise like from $770 to $970 there must be some correction meaning price coming down due to traders selling their coins for profit.

nothing is sucking either Cheesy price has already gone up enough to be happy with a big profit.
2678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: December 30, 2016, 09:59:20 AM
in the future bitcoin will be used more as a currency but it will never replace "money" or fiat as we know it. because that would mean replacing the centralized, government controlled fiat which is not possible at all.
2679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin up 25% today! on: December 28, 2016, 08:35:37 AM
Litecoin seems to be gathering momentum recently even with the BTC rise today the price increase steadily with BTC, it is good is coming back to life

it was never dead to come back to life. a dead coin has its value dropped but if you look at the price history Litecoin has been in the $3 range for a very long time with little fluctuations.

and also it will continue rising, because so far each time bitcoin rises, litecoin follows in its footsteps with a short timeframe window.
2680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: December 28, 2016, 08:27:15 AM
in the past few weeks each time i open my favorite exchange i see ETH has dropped about 5 to 10% and it happens almost everyday!

most of it is because of bitcoin price rise and investors pulling out their money but also it is only a small percentage drop because the manipulators are putting up huge buy walls which sometimes go as big as 700BTC but even they can not stop the drop!
