SEC examining us under a microscope Sad

Shit's about to get real.

A scammer tag wouldn't hurt them, you have to go after their cash and for this you would need to involve a legal entity. I'm really curious if their business practice are conform with US law. Selling products under wrong promises (ROI prediction), sending out products as samples even they aren't. Import products without needed certifications, let customers abroad pay in foreign currency to private bank accounts (chinese customers could pay in RMB to an chinese account). Using customer products for own profit before delivery,.... Is all that really legal in US? The list could be even more extended, could be worth to let an attorney look into this case, all this points looking suspicious to me.

I agree a scammer tag won't do much.

I guarantee if they keep delaying and not delivering more batch 1/2/3 machines and chip orders, there will definitely be some people filing lawsuits against them (me included if they keep delaying or just ignore me and never ship my equipment.) There are several lawsuits forming for BFL customers that I've heard of, Avalon's day is coming too if they don't get their stuff straightened out. I believe Avalon is a USA registered company by Bitsyncom, so it is certainly under the jurisdiction of US courts.

Scammer tag? Get real. Now that batch 3 rape is inescapable your bitching. Countless warnings were ignored.

I'm not even going to waste time to respond to you, going through your post count you have some type of personal vendetta against me (I'm not sure why). 1/3 of your posts are directed towards me in a negative manner.

Get lost kid, let the adults get back to business..
2664  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 22, 2013, 10:42:44 PM
the same shit happens again and again. Why doesnt yifu update us? Shipping should be finished this week and it appears that there are only like 10 units shipped so far!

Avalon gives us 2 days to get a refund & say they'll ship next week, and as of now there's only a handful of machines that have shipped in Batch 3 even a week later...

There's still a lot of batch 1s and 2s that still haven't shipped either, and they just get ignored by Bitsyncom like they are not his problem...

He took in millions of dollars in Bitcoins and now can care less about the people whom enriched him- it is quite scummy/scammy/disgusting. Take a few thousand dollars out of the millions you made and hire someone for support, it's not that hard. They're either too cheap or they just don't care, and as time goes on and they make more and more money from chip sales, I'm leaning towards the latter.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's about time for a scammer tag, eh? I think someone started a scammer thread the other day in the scam subforum for Batch 1s and 2s that still haven't arrived.
2665  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 22, 2013, 10:00:10 PM
So ... any reports of 4 module batch 3's yet?

No, there aren't.

It seems they are not shipping yet for some reason. All of my orders were 4 modules, if I would have known this would be a problem I would have ordered 3 module versions in a second...
2666  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [CLOSED] Avalon ASIC chip distribution on: July 21, 2013, 05:00:49 PM
What happens in the - hopefully unlikely - event that Avalon can’t deliver the chips or they get delayed indefinitely?

$1100 is pretty pricey for 48 ports.  I spent $360 getting enough ports for 61 miners and I've got plenty of ports to spare.  But I guess your setup is a bit cleaner.

He said in another thread he got it used for pretty cheap.

Seriously, that is sexy!
2669  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 19, 2013, 08:06:04 PM
I received a tracking number this morning for order 84XX.

You guys with 8xxx+ order numbers...

Are these trade ins or batch 3 units?

I'm wondering because I have 3 orders with order numbers lower than 8xxx that have not shipped.

I have heard from other batches that Avalon ships seemingly randomly, not inline with order numbers. I guess this is still true... slightly frustrating to say the least.

OH geez.

Can't take you anywhere can we?  Tongue
2671  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 19, 2013, 06:26:26 PM
To those that know their order has shipped:

What does the order status show in the Avalon store? Is it still processing, or does it say shipping?

The answer is:

"Completed"

Thank you sir  Smiley

This is what ROI looks like for Avalon batch 3 if we get it in one month:  Cry
Estimated Mining Results
Initial Coins per Day:  1.73001919
Initial Income per Day:  154.96 USD
Reduction per Week:  9.02%
Break-even (at todays difficulty):  60.9 Days
... considering reduction:  NEVER
Yearly Income (at todays difficulty):  46537.95 USD
... considering reduction:  -897.83 USD

If Avalon delays about 24 days more, an Avalon batch 3 will not break even:
Initial Coins per Day:  1.73001919
Initial Income per Day: 154.96 USD
Reduction per Week:   9.02%
Break-even (at todays difficulty):  60.9 Days
... considering reduction:  NEVER
Yearly Income (at todays difficulty): 46537.95 USD
... considering reduction:   USD

So.. Avalon has about a month to get us our orders until they are unprofitable. By the way these numbers are calculated for a 4 module avalon with PSU (90Gh @ 850w @ 104 BTC).  Cry
2674  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open on: July 18, 2013, 12:41:38 PM
I don't understand the pricing on the 25Gh unit delevered in October. It is the same price as the 25Gh delivered in August, that doesn't make since to me.

For instance, 2.5 months from now with a %1.2417 increase of the network per day, it makes its ROI in 248 days. Which I admit isn't horrible, however I am risking $1300 to make $56 profit in a year.

However, if you are the slightest bit late... say you ship in 3 months (which is more likely than most would like to admit)... then 25Gh for August delivery NEVER break even at the rate of the last 10 difficulty increases.

Yet, the 400Gh unit for October delivery makes bank.. much better ROI. Again, the pricing there doesn't make since to me. Shouldn't the ASIC's price be somewhat proportionate to the speed of the ASIC with a slight discount for purchasing more speed? Why do you give such a good deal to 400Gh units, but screw the little guys?

I'm sorry if this comes across as trolling, I am truly puzzled.

EDIT:
Some more numbers to make my point clear. Using 2.5 & 3.5 month shipping delay from today:

25Gh in 2.5 month breaks even in 248 days
25Gh in 3 months NEVER breaks even

Vs.

400Gh in 2.5 months breaks even in 37 days
400 Gh in 3 months breaks even in 47 days

2676  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Batch #3 & More on: July 15, 2013, 11:41:35 PM
I am in a difficult situation...

A. I can't get a refund, because all Avalon's were bought in a group buy and some people paid 2x what we originally paid to take over shares. These people would be pretty mad if I all the sudden got a refund and they lost half their money.

B. I have paid 3 months rent and bills now at the commercial space where I have planned to host the equipment.

I hope Avalon is happy with themselves, this has been one of the worst business decisions ever for me to decide to host Avalons, due to Avalon's delays. They certainly owe it to their batch 3 customers- I hope they give back somehow, but I am doubtful that they will. Otherwise, Avalon is no different from BFL, and I will never forget about this or buy an Avalon product ever again.

Avalon got greedy and decided to jack the prices up to $10k a machine due to how much money they were making. But, since we get them 3 months late this price is unacceptable now, I don't think Avalon would pay this price themselves. I hope that Avalon and company still have a heart and realize that they screwed batch 3 customers (but again, I am doubtful we will see any recourse).

2677  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 12, 2013, 11:50:31 AM
Finally caught up
Scaling up production has been problematic for us in the past, but today? No more. The speed which we finished shipping batch #2 which took about 3 weeks (aside from custom issues with Serbia and Germany), batch #3 will be no different, and will be even faster. We modified the module upgrade design so it'll fit both generation 1 and generation 2 case setups, the chips are being moved to shanghai so they may begin to deliver by mid-july, trade-in list has been acquired and cleaned up. ( I hope everyone already have an account on the store. ) The Avalon team are very excited to get these things over with so we may get back to engineering.

Hooray, I'm so happy they are going to start shipping batch 3 on Monday! That's very exciting!
2678  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: kslaughter from [VMC] Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion deleting posts! on: July 10, 2013, 10:01:53 PM
VMC will either be an epic scam, an epic fail, or a great success. I am excited to see which one (I hold no investments with them.)  Wink

On a side note, I met someone at the Bitcoin conference that said he had met Ken Slaughter earlier in the day and he was quite weird/strange.. (something along those lines). He also said he would never do business with him. I'm not sure what to make of this because I didn't personally meet him face to face, and the guy that told me this seemed a little "interesting" himself, so I'd take it with a grain of salt. But just FYI...
2679  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB - kosmo says "Buy from btcguild.com at cost"!! on: July 09, 2013, 08:24:35 PM
I'm so glad you've all been getting the hardware (fast!) and have been satisfied with my service. I'm amazed at how you guys come back here so diligently to report updates - it really means a lot to get feedback for my hard work and it's really appreciated.

I wish you are still facilitating Block Erupter sales. I sold all 84 Block Erupters in about 3 days on Ebay! I sold them much faster than I was expecting, and it provided me with some decent income as well. I am very happy that I decided to do it and with your services!  I'm about ready for round 2 as soon as I get my funds back into Bitcoins. Wink

Let me know if you start selling these again, and I will be your first customer.

Thanks,

Ch

OH jeez. I can't believe it pooped out on your so fast, sorry to hear that. I'm sure BFL will replace it, as their equipment is under warranty.

Good to know my spidey senses were dead on yesterday though.  Wink

Good luck sir and happy hashing!
