2701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 23, 2020, 08:09:24 AM
Reading comments that Abueva might be the key for Phoenix FuelMaster to become a team to beat, it was like he was treated being overrated. For his debut, I'm expecting a non-aggressive Abueva. I think we will only see a better Phoenix as a contender next conference when Abueva is now fully part of the team instead of the current conference.

Still no reports for Abueva's return. Maybe in the half period of the bubble conference? What do you guys think?

I don't think so, Phoenix chance is now that Fajardo are still not playing, once he is back, all the attention is on him as SMB will again be dominant again.
And this is an ALL FILIPINO CUP, no import ,so teams with great Filipino players has a chance.

Perkins and Calvin are a good duo, they can dominate the paint if they will remain aggressive and I believe they can compete with the Ginebra pretty well even if Japeth is quite dominant in the inside, but you know things could be different with Calvin on the floor as he is known to guarding big players even imports.

The time has come, we will see if he will play today in the 2nd game, as of now, I'm still not seeing any signs that he will play, like a news or something, I hope this will be surprise, so it will bring significant excitement to his fans.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Casinos to Avoid on: October 23, 2020, 07:45:40 AM
I'm sure there's still a lot to add in that list OP if the basis is only he scam accusation threads in the forum. I think plenty of casinos here have scam accusation and yet there are still plenty of people trusting their website. Anyway, good job, at least they'll know when the thread will add more.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 22, 2020, 11:55:03 PM
This is what we called balancing the sats value in the market. I never seen to my entire trading history that when bitcoin increases, altcoins have the same direction. The thing is, altcoins does not moving down, it is just the sats value that rise. Therefore, we have to increase our bitcoin when we are trading altcoins as well. Because whenever there is a pump in bitcoin, our alts value will remain. Actually, after the run of btc right now. Altcoins will follow.
This is not surprising to see bitcoin is pumping while altcoins are continue dumping. We have seen this trend in the market so many times. I think right now people are trading more bitcoins compared to altcoins that makes bitcoin keeps on being dominant in the market. But we should not worry because altcoins will sure to recover after some time.
2704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 22, 2020, 11:37:37 PM
~it is time for bounty managers to take action and be responsible for the reward token distribution~
Do you think the bounty managers not responsible previously? And they don't do big efforts for the token distribution?
FYI, you won't know in detail what the bounty managers do behind the bounties. I know some bounty managers, the did very hard efforts to pay the bounty hunters. They worked hard since offering the team projects to have bounties, then share the bounties to hunters. Then, they struggle to give proper payments to the bounty hunters. But yes, most bounty hunters don't care about this, they only think about their payments to get as quick as possible.

~it will greatly benefit them too as their reputation will increase~
I'm pretty sure all bounty managers know it very well.
Once the bounty managers can bring good bounties paying hunters with a good amount of money, then surely increases their reputation.
Moreover, if the bounty managers can manage the bounties well such as finish the spreadsheet fast and distribute the payment on time. You don't need to remind them, it directly gives big impacts.

I think bounty managers are already responsible enought about their own obligations towards those bounty hunters who made efforts for the promotion of the project. Reputable managers should not be asked anymore about escrowing because they knew already what's the best thing to do. But if you fall on a bounty manager that does not pay rewards, might as well question him about escrowing.
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 22, 2020, 11:23:14 PM
Scammers never get tired of attempting or doing fraud activities. This is one of the sad part in cryptocurrency where we let scammers do their business and not getting caught and are free to do things such. They get even motivated when many people do like to invest and are getting into their trap. So what do we expect that people or investors are leaving in cryptocurrency investments because of this scammers that are good for nothing stealing money of other people in a legit manner.
Scammers are becoming even more rampant nowadays with this hype defi projects. Yes they are even more motivated when investors keep on investing on those hype projects that will only die on the latter part and definitely lost their money. I guess this is what makes cryptocurrency leaves a negative impact to some people particularly investors who cannot live the risks in crypto market.
2706  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 22, 2020, 03:40:29 PM

Bitcoin can not replace oil and gold, because those three characters (bitcoin, gold, oil) are unique in different ways. Eg, oil is used in vehicles, and there's no way bitcoin can replace that, gold is obtained from the earth, people work hard for it. Gold and oil are very essential to mankind, so they can not be replaced by bitcoin.
Bitcoin is an alternative payment system and even a good store of value but it won't definitely replace oil and gold because they have different usage of course. Oil and gold have been existing already for long long years and people were already using it in its advantage so bitcoin which is still in its 10 years from discovery is still not capable to replace them both.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 22, 2020, 02:58:32 PM
Bitcoin has a lot of benefits, and the privacy of your wallet is already on your bitcoin wallet and how you can handle your security. Bitcoin transfer online or payments online is more likely popular when it comes to cryptocurrencies and it is used nowadays especially pandemic. People are more likely to used online payments and online transfer for them to give some help to their relatives.
Bitcoin has been very advantageous in this time of pandemic because with just one click online, your transaction will be successfully send safely and secured as long as internet connection is stable. Aside from having a convenient online transaction, bitcoin is also known as a good store of value and a good investment for our retirement. But bitcoin has also its own risks so make sure to study it first before using it.
2708  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 22, 2020, 02:30:44 PM
That's correct, a lot of new member that doesn't fit the minimum requirements sometimes steal high rank profile link member to get join the bounty. Hope that there's better structure to prevent spam without POA, but so far POA is the best way to avoid it
Having POA is really a good thing to minimize those spammers around and prevent those tagging of red trust to an honest bounty participant without his awareness. I think POA posts are not yet compulsory by this time but hopefully this will be given consideration this time by those bounty managers even if it means additional work for them because this is really a life saver for all of us bounty participants.
2709  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 21, 2020, 11:59:04 PM
But does it make any sense investing more money in military and other things like that? Don’t you think that by doing that they are encouraging the crisis to keep moving?

I know that our government and those elites are interested in crisis that benefits them in one way or the other, since they are all evil. How about they start investing those money in places where it matters, like creating job opportunities enough so that people will have jobs to be able to afford for their feeding, and also help the poor people in the community? How about them trying to make peace and maintain it, instead of fighting wars all the time? Crisis will only lead us to destruction and nothing more.
Different crisis will be properly managed if the leaders of the country won't apply strong force like wars because it will definitely affect humans particularly those innocent ones. Yes destruction will be expected to happen in such country that will allow wars to happen using the military and police force just to combat the ongoing crisis.
2710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My speculation regarding Bitcoin will hit... on: October 21, 2020, 11:42:50 PM
Don't pray that bitcoin will reach that bottom  because it is really good if the value continously rising for us to earn money .
I hope your speculation is wrong because Im not ready for the bitcoin to reach that value $1800 because that is very low value for the bitcoin and maybe that's the time bitcoin is danger to down more because people will panic selling their bitcoin rhat they hage if that happen and I don't want happen that.

Instead of going down, we are experiencing positive movement in the market. I don't think 1800 will be in the scenario in the future. We had passed that level a long time ago. Maybe the OP is hoping to hit that level so he can buy more bitcoin. But seems that we are on the rise and the adoption is going mainstream. Does anybody here read about PayPal accepting crypto in their system?
Maybe the OP is quite desperate thinking of its very low price so he can buy more bitcoin while  its very affordable. But what is happening today is totally opposite because bitcoin is even more rising in value even if there is a worldwide pandemic that is currently happening. I think bitcoin will not drop again with the price OP is saying because bitcoin has high chances that it will break another ATH in the years to come.
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 21, 2020, 11:21:37 PM
No, signature campaign is just part of the marketing strategy. Signature campaign is being used to promote and increase the reach of the project, but it does not increase the credibility. It always depends on how promising the project is, over all including the idea and so on.
Credibility of the ICO is definitely based on the project itself but sometimes having a sucessful signature campaign can also create good impression on the project particularly if the bounty manager has carried the bounty project well. The credibility of ICO nowadays is not that high anymore compared to its previous years but still some good projects still managed to survive because of its legitimacy.
2712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 21, 2020, 11:00:14 PM
No, as we can all see, bitcoin continue to increase its value even after that. The reason is that, the value of bitcoin is only paired to USD but it is not necessarily mean that the value of bitcoin will always depend on the value of USD itself.
I think that almost anything that can be exchanged is tied to USD. The USD is a big and prestigious currency, while America is still at the top of the world, we still see USD everywhere.
At the moment everyone is seeing a very good price rise in bitcoin, many eyes on bitcoin and the crypto market. That bodes well for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I think bitcoin will continue to increase in price in the near term.
Yes. Even in times of pandemic, bitcoin is not even greatly affected its value compared to usd because we have seen it even more increasing in value and people get even more interested knowing it. I don't think bitcoin will ever lose its value and it has been proven already in its ten years of existence.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to move on if you've failed to meet the due date of a bounty campaign on: October 20, 2020, 11:40:27 PM
Participating in bounty or any signature campaign is just an opportunity. If you got accepted that is because the CM/BM thinking that you can make your job but if you got excluded from the list because you miss performing the task given, that is our fault and OP is right, we don't need to complain of them. That is our fault and that ourselves to be blamed as well, sending a message to the BM/CM is a way to make them informed and ask for another chance rather than whining to them because of your own mistake.
Yes. We can ask for another chance but if the bounty manager won't allow us to be part of the campaign anymore, then we should learn to respect his decision. After all, we should be responsible for our own shortcomings and blaming others won't give any solution. So we should always give our best while we are still luckily part of the campaign.
2714  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 20, 2020, 11:23:41 PM

The question is that are we really going to improve the economy?

Or make covid19 transmission worst of their decision?

No, but we can at least save the economy by opening it,
There is no other choice but to do it, or else it will be too late for the government to save the economy.

It will get worst but not as fast as how we encounter during the early encounter with covid-19. The thing is people know how and what to do right now, they also started to follow health protocols due to their fear of having the virus.
If we will not start to make things in this new normal, then it would be hard for our economy to recover again. I guess people are already responsible enough to follow those health protocols that are imposed by the government because if they won't, they are the ones who will suffer the consequences. The second wave for this pandemic might be very possible but we should not let also ourselves to starve at this moment because of the fear of transmission of corona virus.
2715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 05:37:17 AM
Bounties isn't on of the fastest way to make money, it takes time  before getting paid and sometimes you won't get anything after the long wait, if you are planning to pay for rent or bill you will end up in frustration, it's better to look for other ways
Yes. So make it as a sideline only and find other ways on how you can make a guaranteed income. I think bounty hunters are still limited today because of the rampant scam bounty campaigns that won't pay our efforts in the end. And most of thr newbies are not qualified in participating bounty campaigns since they still need to rank up first before they can be a part of the campaign.
2716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 11:57:22 PM
So, yes trading on pandemic could feel unethical because you have made a profit from human misery, I wish I never made a profit from it and it didn't happen, but since it already happen without me doing anything, I might as well profit from it as well (without actually hurting others finances like toilet paper stackers).

I would not worry about this type of moral and ethical dilemmas in trading my friend. Same as in gambling, when people were taking advantage of inside knowledge on sickness, it was the same as any other inside information,,, you are not directly doing anything. If you really feel bad about it, do something in real life that actually helps people and you can make up for it.
Trading has got even better even when pandemic is currently affecting the whole world. But we should not be affected by this since we are already trading ever since and it's even better if we keep making good profits in trading and in return, offer some financial assistance to those who have lost their source of income and are mostly affected by this pandemic.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 09:22:35 PM
The simplest way now is to limit the rank of bitcointalk forum members to join bounty, only accounts that have been active for a while on bitcointalk are eligible to join. And with PoA I think cheaters will be difficult to act.
Yes. Only full member and up should only be allowed to join the campaign and it should be an active account before they can be finally called a participant. Honestly, it's really unfair for those who are doing their best for the campaign and yet, they only get very small rewards. Cheaters will always find a way to cheat but if the campaign has high standards, it would be hard for them to act as one.
2718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does having a lot of investing money make trading for a living much easier? on: October 16, 2020, 09:05:34 PM
That is true. But I is not as easy as you think. Many factors affect in a trading life. It takes a person a huge amount of time to master this specialty.  If you cant control your emotion in trading, you can easily suffer a huge loss. Trading is like improving oneself with many mistake and weakness.
Starting trading with a huge amount is really impressive but it doesn't mean that you can expect profits right then. Trading is just like gambling whether you lose or win the game but if you start trading without much knowledge about it, you will surely end up losing your funds. Skilled traders even lose their funds as well. Trading takes more time and efforts for you to expect good profits at the end of the day.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 16, 2020, 05:40:21 AM
SMB vs TNT, this is a PBA Finals potential, I'll be watching this game and I love to see Romeo doing his thing again, he is the only one I like in the SMB and I always follow this player especially during his time with the North port, he is a true blooded Filipino but a real star, I don't know why he has not able to play for the Philippine team when Yeng coach the Gilas.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 16, 2020, 05:02:51 AM
This fight will be similar to Floyd Mayweather versus Canelo Alvarez, I reckon. A new rising star who might not be ready versus a veteran of the sport.

MMA fans would understand. We have witnessed this situation many times hehehe.

I'm hoping it's not the same, I saw the Floyd Mayweather versus Canelo Alvarez fight and it was a complete domination of Floyd in the fight, Canelo Alvarez was completely schooled by Floyd in that fight. This one is different I guess, Loma is not like Floyd, he loves to fight and knock out his opponent, Floyd just love to score and run, which is boring IMO.
