1781  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 19, 2021, 06:34:29 AM
Canelo my man, whoever he will face I'll always back him to win.

Last time I won my bet because I trust him, so although he move up in weight, I still think he could win against a bigger fighter as he has the power and is an accurate puncher. Slowly he will destroy his opponent so I'm not worried about him facing a knockout artist.
1782  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: November 18, 2021, 08:40:10 PM
Financial stability to me is being at that level where you can afford more than your basic needs, a position where you will be able to enjoy some good things in life without having to worry about your account balance, that includes having a steady income stream or having some valuable investment that generates a reasonable amount of income,  it also means you work less and still very financially sound.

Afford on something which you would really like to buy on without minding that you would be having no funds left at all on which i do really consider to be financially stabled.

Not only on buying capacity but also with investing capability because we do know that this one still requires some funds which everybody doesnt really have always the chance.
Reaching out this state on which you are capable enough on doing things in terms of financial isnt something a state that could be acquired so easily.
It would require lots of hard work and effort of course.
Of course. Financial stability has its own process and will not be realized overnight. We should still endure lot of hard works and sacrifices before we can achieve financial stability. It may mean saving most of the time so you will have something to spend for in the near future.

Financial stability is a state where you can say money is not a problem to you anymore. And considering that your money keeps coming all the time from your different revenues, so definitely you can afford all the luxuries around you because you have a good source of income. And being financially stable does not even require you to work anymore because you know your stable enough to cover all your expenses and pay your bills anytime and anywhere.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 18, 2021, 06:22:22 PM
I'm not at all worried about what's going on with bitcoin's current movement, because things like that happen a lot and I'm used to it, so just take it easy and don't worry and all I do is hold it in.
because I am a long term holder so if there is a correction and so on I do not feel worried because the bitcoin price will rise again and even exceed the previous high price, although I have to wait a long time but it is real and will happen the most important thing is to be patient.
That should be the attitude of a long term holder, to remain strong and patient all the time even when you see your investments are falling due to price decline. The fact that bitcoin will always recover from all forms of dumps, then we should not let ourselves be stressful because if that happens, we may resort into panic selling which is a very bad idea and should be avoided. The best thing to do right now is to stay focus on your goal and you can't achieve that if you stop holding your bitcoin and start selling it.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 18, 2021, 05:23:35 AM
Shiba is in its hype period. Now it has been getting slowed down. Anything could happen in the cryptocurrency network, what we saw with the Shiba Inu is the example. The price grew to the top in no time, and dropped down. In no time the market supporters turned to be a big community. As the community got widened the support for Shiba from firms started to increase.

At some point Shiba Inu traded more in volume against bitcoin. These are all temporary, all the way if some other coin makes similar market the community concentrates over there.
Shiba Inu will only be good and profitable if its hyped. But how about if the hype is over. I would not think that it will still be profitable as today, and at the end of the day both dogecoin and Shiba Inu will be out in the market because their value might be totally gone. My prediction may be different from others but i believe meme coins will never stay long in the market as they have no real use case like bitcoin and ethereum do. So let others enjoy their profits on these meme coins while they are still irresistible for now.
1785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making profit with a bubble on: November 17, 2021, 09:15:00 PM
We all know that this upward move won't last forever, even if a real spot ETF is gonna be approved (that would cause another big rise, in my opinion), one day we will reach an unsustainable point of extreme overvaluation and a single fundamental event will trigger a huge dump.

I'm not trying to predict the future, I'm just trying to be honest myself considering that this cycle will come to an end (as always did before), but that could represent an opportunity too, for instance, with a short position opened at the right time (I know that I could appear like a complete fool who is trying to imitate Michael Burry in 2008).

What's your idea about that?

Personally, I also believe that the crypto market is cyclical and in order to see an even greater rise in the price of cryptocurrencies in the future, you need to gain strength, and for this you need a dump of prices for crypto assets. You are also right that this has happened more than once, which means there is a high probability that it will happen again. Right now we are in a very interesting situation, since we are on the verge of a new flight to the moon, but the main thing is not to deceive ourselves and draw unreal profits. Already now, you should clearly understand what you expect from the future rise in prices, as well as from the subsequent fall. This is what will allow you to save and increase your funds.
Well, the market won't certainly remain to be bullish all the time. There will really come a time that bearish season will take over the bullish season but at least, we are already aware of that and there's nothing to worry. What is important is that we can maximize making profits while the market still allows us, seeing most of the crypto coins are experiencing bullish prices. And when the market turns bearish, at least we have huge funds already to take advantage of the market. By simply buying and holding in times of bearish, it will open bigger chances again to end up gaining huge profits in the future, so just relax and make the most of it from every market's situation that comes.
1786  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the Deep (Bitcoin). on: November 17, 2021, 01:14:24 PM
It was a great opportunity to those customers waiting for the price of bitcoin to drop from $60 before they can buy to hold for future. Now that the price of bitcoin just decreased to $59k ,it will help many buyers to buy more to enable them achieve good profit before the end of the year.
Since bitcoin price is decreasing and ethereum price is decreasing in the market which is attracting their customers to buy because the price will soon increase to $60. Those customers waiting for the price of bitcoin to rise to $68k before they can see their coins to make a suitable profit.
Bitcoin is starting to recover now at its present price at $60,507 so good job for all those who have bought bitcoin when it was below $60k. Once positive updates will eventually come in the market, then we can expect for bitcoin to continue increasing its price. Actually, $59k is not really its dip price, we can still witness lower than that but maybe not this time. However, the price correction might end so soon and bitcoin and those good altcoins will now have more chances to grow their prices even more. That's the good thing about price corrections, they create opportunities for new entries and they can push the price of cryptos into their new ATH.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 17, 2021, 08:31:59 AM
If you plan to buy a house for your comfort, and it is within your means, seek out a way to get it done quickly.

If you plan to get a car, as you feel you are ripe enough for it, and there's a means to get it, don't hesitate, get it quickly off your list.

if you plan to buy a home equipment, electronics or furniture,  and it is super important to you and your comfort, buy it and get it off your list.

The longer you wait at times, the more prices increase, things are not getting cheaper, the longer you wait the more the thought of this need bugs your mind.
That’s true, but sometimes before you take such a step you should calculate between your needs and wants, because some of these things are not your needs, and that’s why you would probably be having a second thought about them. And judging from how much is in your pocket, if you feel that buying any of the things you have on your list would affect your financial stability at the moment, then it is best to leave it for and plan for it later. You can even decide to start locking a bit of money aside for that particular thing and when it is complete, you can then go ahead to pay for it.
If you dont know on how to balance in between your wants and needs then you would be fucked up in near future on the time that you do realize that you had already some problem with your finances thats why you should really be that wise on handling out your money
so that you wouldnt really experience any hardship or unfortunate events which would cause up on wrecking your life.
There are really some instances that even if you have all the means, but knowing it will not be very necessary for you, then you should know how to balance weigh things well. Its not that once you have the funds, you'll eventually buy it before your money disappears. There are other things that we still need to consider like preparing for those unpredictable things that may happen anytime. I think its really basic for those people who are anticipating for the future's unexpected events, but for those who are used to lived thinking only at the present times, they will surely do things without thinking its future consequences.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook invests on Crypto on: November 16, 2021, 09:57:58 PM
Apple CEO Tim Cook have invested on cryptocurrency. He has disclosed it in a recorded interview. He mentioned it as part of his diversified portfolio. His investment was from his personal point, and Apple doesn't have any plans of investing/accepting cryptocurrency. This is a big news, and were into discussion around the social media platforms. Majority of the huge company CEO's own crypto. This is a big thing and an indication of growth of cryptocurrency network.

Well, of course these rich people would be glad to disclose there investment for the people to follow them and send the value to the moon. I know why they have mentioned that the company has no plans in accepting crypto, but they will soon and will probably send the value to even higher again.

This is just a classic example of rich getting even more richer and poor not necessarily became poorer but struggles a lot only to get a few profit.
Rich people will tend to become richer because they know where to put their money, and crypto is certainly a right investment for them. While poor people tend to struggle more because they are driven more on fear rather than take the risk and gain huge profits.

However, Tim Cook is certain with his investment in crypto and its all for diversification of his portfolio. Apple has not plans yet to accept or adopt crypto for now, but maybe in the future when all big companies are already into crypto, Apple will soon to accept crypto too.
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has Shiba Inu a bright future? on: November 16, 2021, 07:51:06 PM
There is no guarantee that you can make profit instantly if you convert your ethereum to Shiba, it depends to the price if it can pump again just like the other days.. You know meme coins are very risky investment it's not advisable to invest all your money in this meme coin just invest only what you can afford to lose.
When it comes to meme coin, there is no such security that its price will always be moving upward like bitcoin or ethereum. So if you invest in meme coin, invest only on the amount you can afford to lose even if you see how profitable it is right now. Yes, definitely its community is growing but once the hype is over, i don't think that its demand will always be there. Shiba Inu is very promising these days because its price is totally hyped. But it will be a bad idea if you think of converting it into ethereum. Ethereum might be slow in its price progress but knowing its next to bitcoin, it will always follow the path of bitcoin. Unlike Shiba Inu which is more on pump and dump scheme, and once bearish season hits the market, its price might never recover again.
1790  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 16, 2021, 04:54:16 AM
Elon's mindset is good and it is indeed a good deed to be made, but in reality that $6 Billion isn't gonna solve the problem.
I agree with you. I think Elon Musk's desire to help reduce world hunger is not in the amount of money he gives, but in his caring attitude towards people who need help because in reality not all rich people in the world want to do or have the same mindset as him in term of humanitarian assistance, it is much more valuable in my eyes because he has a sense of caring for others.

Personally, I am amazed by Elon Musk's concern for his fellow human beings regardless of how many of his tweet have affected the crypto market both positively and negatively. This is a different case in my eyes.
For me, Elon might be selfish in pursuing his own personal financial desires but he has still a selfless heart for the poor people. $6 billion is already a big amount of money but still, it cannot cater all the people who are suffering from world hunger. People will more appreciate it if he can extend another help too in providing jobs for the poor people who can't hardly survive from their daily lives. With all the riches and big influence he is enjoying right now, i know giving jobs for those jobless people will be very possible if he really wants to help.
1791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: November 15, 2021, 07:37:04 PM
Many people have benefited by trading and many have lost so I want to tell you one thing. Understand trading and consider which token market value will increase in the future and which will decrease.  You do not want to be frustrated if you cannot get the right pitch so invest in a good capo.
You can make a lot of profit by trading. I have got good benefits from this, so you also understand it well and learn it well from your elder brothers or someone you know. I hope you can make a lot of profit. Trade thing is a very good initiative.
Trading is only good if you are constantly making profits from it, but if you are often committing losses, then i would say learn more in trading so you can start minimizing your losses. Honestly, not all trading are good and profitable. There will be these days that you are bound to lose while others are making profits. And its a very normal scenario in trading because even skilled traders do lose in trading too. I would rather advice OP to stay focus on the coins that have high potentials and prioritize bitcoin because there is more secured profits on it. And in times that you face losses, just be patient and still make consistent learning because that will be the best way to combat losses and attract more profits the next time you trade.
1792  Economy / Speculation / Re: JP Morgan: bitcoin could hit $146,000 on: November 15, 2021, 10:15:59 AM
I will not have short term prediction about this, if long term, 'could' included makes it an understatement because bitcoin price will surely hit over $150000. It can be long but a time is coming bitcoin will even never retrace (fall below) to $150000 ever again. But this is long term prediction which will be accurate based on total wealth in the world and fiat-depreciation-price-control by the government. In short term, the price of bitcoin can be difficult to predict, but all-time-high is certain in long term.
Can you please give number of years for your long time speculation. To me it seems unrealistic because there are no data evidence or any good reason why would Bitcoin price reach $150k in time to come. Why is it difficult for you to make prediction for the short time period because the former is out of anxiety and no real evidence on why it should happen the way you predict it.
Dont beleive about those precise numbers or on when it would happen because those are just speculations which arent really that ideal for you to follow on and we know that this is a speculative market so its just normal that people would be claiming off things.

They could say all they want basing on whats inside of their minds neither going up or going down and with those sentiments then you should be keen whether you do skip or believe basing into those.

We would surely comes to a point where we do able to reach out new ATH's but we dont know on when it would happen.
Bitcoin will create more possibilities to reach new ATH this year since the market is so bullish which only means that it has bigger chances to land another all time highs. But it seems the prediction of JP Morgan is not possible this year, we can have new ATH before this year ends but maybe it will only touch $80k-$90k price duration. But knowing bitcoin which is highly volatile, sometimes its moves is so surprising and we may wake up one day seeing its value is already above $100k. Who knows? If that will happen this year, many investors will definitely become millionaires in less than a year.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 15, 2021, 03:29:59 AM
What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

I'm sure there are many people here who still hold memecoins just because of the hype and when they buy it, the price is very cheap, they try their luck who knows one day they will be like Doge. indeed the risk of holding memecoin is very large, but even if they lose they will not lose large amounts of their money, which is why many are attracted just for fun of memecoin.
With how profitable meme coins are particularly Shiba Inu, i know lot of investors plan to hold them thinking that they could be more profitable in the near future. But meme coins will only be good for short term profits, and once the hype will be gone, i don't think if their value will still be rising up. Yes, some meme coins are worth holding but only for short term because if you wish to hold it for long term, i think it will not be profitable anymore and worst is they might suddenly lose their value which i think is very possible for coins who don't have real life usage so there's no reason that the demand will still increase.
1794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 14, 2021, 11:29:38 PM
Anyone still ignoring Bitcoin at a time like this is probably still living in a stone age. Bitcoin has come to stay, and the earlier it is accepted the better for us all. However, regrettably, some persons still doubt it authenticity.
That they need to change their minds and are able to hear and see the benefits of crypto in today's life. We have to let go of those things that don't help us but rather to adopt the new opportunities that could really help us if we can manage this. We are moving into the new generation, new technology gives us a very comfortable life than before.
We have to encourage these people to try so they can tell the real story, not just because of the hearsays and rumors.
And for people to believe and be encourage about crypto, they should gain proper education too about crypto and how it will be beneficial for a human's life. No one's gonna believe from just a single hearsay or humor without proofs. There should be living testimonies that crypto can definitely change a man's economy, that will also lead to a positive change for country's economy.

However, i believe if all people will see the fame of bitcoin and how it can change man's life and live comfortably, then i think no single individual will be ignoring bitcoin. With its high value that is always moving upward, it will not be surprising that people will choose bitcoin in the future rather than stick with fiat and continue missing opportunities.
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: November 14, 2021, 09:42:28 PM
Actually I don't think that cryptocurrencies will replace fiat money in the nearest future. There are still too many people who don't believe in crypto and don't know how to use them. What is more, government can't control crypto and that's why they don't really want it to develop as this way they will lose control over people finances.
even for a longer time it will be very difficult even though crypto is increasingly known to people but on the other hand fiat is still very strong and is still used by most people.
In my country, fiat is still very vital and still dominates compared to crypto.
and i never thought that crypto would replace fiat one day but to coexist it is very possible.
Exactly. The use of fiat will never be extinct as majority of the people would still prefer to use a currency that is backed by government. Crypto may gain lot of users in the years to come as its adoption has been massive too but in the long run, it cannot replace the role of fiat. Crypto has a big chance to be a currency in the future, but never to replace fiat, but to coexist with it. And when that happens, banks too will start to accept crypto transactions so they can address the needs of bitcoin users, and not just on fiat users alone.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 12, 2021, 09:46:59 PM
The lower the PPV price the more people can afford to buy, hopefully, they'll be able to sell a good number of PPV so they'll be profitable in this fight. Porter vs Crawford is such a great fight, it will never be boring so it's good if we book a subscription and watch it together with our friends and family.

As to betting, that is always depending on what we think and on how this find will end up, of course with the fighter of your choice.

I'm maybe wrong but Terrence Crawford is not yet a big star in boxing these days that may be the reason why Top Rank decided to make the PPV price a little bit cheaper to attract hardcore boxing fans to buy. The target market for this PPV will be the US and I don't it will reach 500K buys as Crawford is not yet a draw, hope Bob will realize that and let Terrence fight whom he feels could bring him to stardom.

This Porter fight maybe the start, hope if he wins this one he will fight Thurman next.

If based on the sales in his previous match, then we can say he is not a big star as other boxers are making more than he is making, maybe one of the reasons is because he does not have a big fight against popular boxers so the interest is low on his fights. Crawford probably demanded a big fight and he gets one now although in betting lines he is a heavy favorite Porter is a tough opponent to crack which I'm sure it will not be easy for Crawford to win.

If Crawford wins this fight, he should go for a bigger one, probably a unificication figght, maybe with Ugas.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 12, 2021, 09:10:17 PM

How Alex Caruso? this guy makes some major contributions to the team, so he definitely would find it a good challenge tonight if he will be able to guard Steph Curry, with the defense of the Bulls, I guess Poole will step up again, and let's see if Wiggins would still bring his A-game in this great matchup.

He is always a surprise but I don't think he could limit Curry's production in this game.

The Warriors now seemed to turn back the time as they are winning in the huge margin in some of their games, and the good thing is that when they are down in double digit, they know how to come back and beat their opponent in double digit. That tells us when the Warriors are hot, they'll continue shooting and will not give the opposing team a chance to close the game.

The Bulls have improved this season, no question about that, but they lose against the sixers twice in a row, maybe the Warriors could see their weakness.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 12, 2021, 07:36:04 PM
Probably the many useless alts being created on a daily basis will die off for more sound projects that truly offer a good service to exist,
It is possible the market can crash at any time and it is also equally possible the market will be strong even more judging by the number of positive news happening, these are tough questions no one has an answer to but as a member of the crypto community you should always be prepared for anything, the market can take a different turn unexpectedly.
The crypto market may be very bullish at the moment but it will not always be like that. Bearish season will certainly come as its also part of the cycle. So if you can make maximum profits with this current bullish season, then go for it so you can prepare for any price correction that will bring changes in the market value and will possibly dump the market when we least expect it. So better accept the fact that it will bound to happen anytime soon and be prepared for it because its always an edge to be prepared all the time so you won't end up in a huge loss.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin would be next gamechanger? on: November 12, 2021, 07:08:39 PM
I think there are 3 coins that have the most chance of becoming the next gamechanger, namely Shiba inu, Solana and Cardano, these 3 coins have proven to be the most active coins on the market this year, I'm sure there will be many surprises from these 3 coins so they are worth making long-term investments .
Shiba Inu is not suitable for long-term investment, because it is a meme token that is only suitable for short-term investment, but for Solana and Cardano it is always suitable for long-term investment because their network has also started to live even though it has not been widely adopted by others.
The coins you mentioned might be the next gamechanger and they really have potentials to make it possible. But knowing Shiba Inu is a meme coin, yes maybe its not a wise decision to keep it long term since its future is still uncertain and anytime, its value might probably go very low just because the one who hyped it might stop it anytime. Shiba Inu will be very profitable for now but after several months, i don't think if it will still profitable or may only end up shitcoin in the long run. With Solana and Cardano, i also have high hopes on them and will eventually invest on them.
1800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verified Information - Missed Opportunities on: November 12, 2021, 06:30:24 PM
This is exactly why you should never regret after you sell. The best strategy here is to not sell until you "need" to sell your coins.
If there arises a need for you to sell then never look back at it again. This way you never have any regrets of selling.
It also makes us hold our coins to the maximum. So far this strategy have been working very well for me.
For me, the only time you have to sell your coins is when at its peak price or there is an urgent need for cash so you have to sell your bitcoin regardless of its value. Other than that, when you sell your coins at a low price it will only make you a loser. And i think when it comes to investments, its all about winning and losing so if you made such bad decisions in the past, stop making regrets because that will never help you to move on from it. Otherwise, you'll gonna miss another great opportunities because you are so busy thinking of your regrets.
