2701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 27, 2016, 03:15:26 AM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar
My answer is no, but I'm relatively new to this bitcoin world so I hope that changes in the next months as I familiarize myself with the forum and try to raise some bitcoin.
2702  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 27, 2016, 03:07:33 AM
Some day I sure bitcoin can replace fiat, we know fiat is is not relevant to the economy and free trade.
But it is a basic true that bitcoin cannot replace fiat, fiat has been and will forever be the way to exchange money between people directly, bitcoin appeared first to make exchanging money over the internet much easier so it has always been related to the internet but if the internet goes down so is the bitcoin and then what is the thing that is goanna run the economy for sure it is the fiat money.
i agree. physical money is still the way most transactions are normally done every single day. it's government ran. it's accessible to most people. it doesn't need online connection. bitcoin is good for transferring money and doing online transactions but it still is dependent on whether there is online access. compared to fiat, which as you've said is how most transactions were done, bitcoin would require a lot more to be fully accepted and i think with how things are going now, fiat would still be the major form of currency that we will all have even in the future
Not really cash is being displaced very fast in the developed countries like Sweden where most of the transactions are electronic and not with cash, cash is still prevalent in places where you may not have a strong banking sector.
2703  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: December 21, 2016, 05:53:44 AM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum
Very unlikely since we will need a huge amount of coins and a unified way of putting pressure in the price since bitcoin in itself is all about decentralization and to avoid central authority I don't think forming a cartel is going to sit well with most of the members of the forum.
2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 21, 2016, 05:51:26 AM
if bitcoin died tomorrow then people will come up with something more advance and better and maybe that can even solve some of our upcomming problems
Not necessarily, since there is the possibility people will lose their faith in crypto currencies as a whole and with that investors will leave too and without money to fuel the development, everything could collapse.
2705  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: December 21, 2016, 05:48:29 AM
Imagine you had a daily income of 40$ each day in bitcoin, what would do with them and where would you invest them ?
If will get daily $40 then I will use this collection of money to make a casino site where everyone can make gambling .
And my online casino will have all the facility to all gambling game with 0% house edge .
I thinking about such ideas because in the Current the only gambling sites are active . After gambling it is trading which is more active .
You will need a lot more than 40 dollars daily to create your own casino, most casinos will probably need more than  tens of thousands of dollars just to begin operations and that is without taking in account, marketing and the bankroll.
2706  Economy / Gambling / Re: To all gambling sites. Please make play money games on: December 21, 2016, 05:45:58 AM
One thing I have not seen in many bitcoin gambling sites is the use of play money to let users try out their games first. Play money is a must if you want to attract users because most of us do not have the disposable income available at all times. Sometimes we only want to play for fun without the risk of losing anything.

Please consider this because it will also be good for you because your site will be discussed more in the forum.
Fortunejack offers play money for users to try out their games, when i get busted i use play money lol. it would be nice if you could make a list and update op.

Yes fortune jack does give you the option to play using play money. They also allow you to refill that play money. But I tried using it, and the chances of winning in play money is a lot higher than real money. I'm not sure if it's because it is play money or just because I was luckier in play money. But I prefer to play using faucet money instead. When I do get lucky, I can withdraw that money.
I don't know about that, but since you are not using real money then I don't think they are obligated to be  provably fair unlike the games where you play for money.
2707  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 21, 2016, 05:43:27 AM
Bitcoin as an asset today is very beneficial, especially against the background of expectations of price cryptocurrency. But the question is, whether bitcoin will continue to attract investors when the price reaches the ceiling?
We don't know were the ceiling is but investors will keep coming to bitcoin because you can also earn profits by trading and hoping for the price of bitcoin to go down so as long the price keeps moving traders are fine with that.
2708  Economy / Gambling / Re: To all gambling sites. Please make play money games on: December 18, 2016, 12:38:16 AM
Play money games make sense for regular casinos but for bitcoin casinos, that offer faucets and allow us to bet very low amounts of money I don’t think it is necessary to create the option of allowing us to play with play money, but that is just my opinion.
2709  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 18, 2016, 12:34:04 AM
Personally I don't think bitcoin was ever devised to replace fiat at all, it is going to become a currency that despite not being backed by any government it is going be valuable and useful for a significant amount of the world population, but fiat will continue to exist.
I think anyone can be against the government would lose. bitcoin is not backed by the government would bitcoin will not be able to beat the government. The law certainly
but I hope that bitcoin will equal the future fiat
Bitcoin will never come to close the level of fiat, ever. I really think we should be happy with the fact that Bitcoin is just an alternative currency.

Because as it stands now, Bitcoin isn't subject to all kinds of ridiculous laws and policies as is the case with fiat, precious metals, and the list goes on.

Bitcoin is freedom, and people slowly start to realize that. It offers people a great opportunity to fairly easily escape from the governmental system that is only working against people.
I like too the fact bitcoin is still not that big, first because it allows us to try to get more bitcoin when bitcoin finally skyrockets and two the regulation in my country regarding bitcoin is still very lax so I can get my hands in bitcoin without too much problem.
You are lucky to live in a country that being is not regulated but in the future it can be regulated so as much as possible you save as many as you can. Mostly in less developed countries that's the nature and you are luckier since we are earning fair online but the value your are getting is bigger when converted to fiat.
Yes I know I’m lucky, while I like the recent price increase for bitcoin I’m worried that if the price gets too high it could attract the attention of authorities and then they will regulate bitcoin with more strict laws.
2710  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: December 18, 2016, 12:31:52 AM
Imagine you had a daily income of 40$ each day in bitcoin, what would do with them and where would you invest them ?

I will make it to the point that I can reached $100 a day. To achieved that, I will save first the earnings I will got which is $40 a day. After reaching at least $500 or more I will start a small business preferrably a small store with variety of all items. In my area there is only few stores so building it today will result for a good profit in a long term. Actually even there is lot of stores here in my area, business like that is really promising. The demand of products is always present.

Actually investing in real life is more profitable for me than online investment but I can consider my current online investment income as decent one.
Personally I will prefer an online business over one where I need to be there, to me that is not a business but a job, I want my business to grow without me having to be there taking care of it and for that the best option is an online business
2711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 18, 2016, 12:28:22 AM
If I know that bitcoin will be gone(price become $0) I will exchange it to other cheap altcoins. And Maybe I will do mining also . But I think your thoughts will not gonna happen. Bitcoin is a part of our lives now. More and more people is in the process of discovering bitcoins everyday.

That will be a sensitive choice after all how wants to lose their money if they can avoid it? No one, so that will be the right thing to do, although the possibility of bitcoin dying overnight are practically zero.

2713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do Bitcoins really circulate into users? on: December 14, 2016, 04:03:55 AM
Bitcoin only circulates through transfers from one address to another. The recipient has to have a Bitcoin address in order to receive them. Miners also gain Bitcoins through the mining process.
In fact that is not the only way, if you have an usb with a wallet with 50 dollars and what you wanted to buy has a price of 50 dollars you could in theory just hand out the usb to the seller, that way a trade took place but there is no record of it in the blockchain.
2714  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: December 14, 2016, 04:00:50 AM
Only trading is the best to invest if you have knowledge of starting a business online or website or blog that you can monetize your blog to earn passively  invest your earnings in blog for promoting and and to hire people to make an article that can help your website to rank fast.. but if you knowledge with that you can try trading which is common source of earnings here that almost many members are investing in trading but it needs knowledge in order to gain profit..
I don think it is such a good idea to invest your money in a blog, yes you can make money like some people do, but the truth is that to become a successful blogger takes a significant amount of time and effort.
2715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 14, 2016, 03:57:49 AM
If tomorrow bitcoin is no longer on this earth I will cry and contemplate for the moment my income just from bitcoin. I worry about is someone who has a lot of bitcoin. maybe he'll setres weight
You do not worry sir because Bitcoin not die this year even in the next next year. Bitcoin become more powerful as of now and look the price of Bitcoin now its $750++ and increasing everyday and every month. And many people love Bitcoin and many company accept Bitcoin payment so the Bitcoin will become globally . but there is no forever theres a time Bitcoin will die and I don't think what will happen to the big investor of Bitcoin like the investor have 1000btc or more I think will die also .!
We must look in the user base and not the price for the signals of a currency dying because it is when people stop accepting the currency when the currency becomes useless.

Yes, i agree with you. Bitcoin will died if people not trust bitcoin and not using bitcoin anymore. If bitcoin died tomorrow i'm sure it will be a chaos for all bitcoin user, especially gambling sites and trading sites that using bitcoin as the payment. It will be big for them.
Thats right bitcoi  will die if no one will use bitcoi  and no one buy it. But it is impossible for now  that bitcoin will die , Unless bitcoin was banned in every country in the world that is the only reason on if bitcoin will die. No one will buy bitcioin and use it if illegal
And even if every country banned bitcoin it is still not a sure thing bitcoin were to die since it is likely that an important part of the user base is not going to drop bitcoin just because it was made illegal in their countries.

Bitcoins are really becoming known due to its price and demand. But how do really Bitcoins circulate into users? Does it circulate like a real money that circulate as a tax. Can someone explain it sir?

Thank you.
The question is a not very clear, but bitcoin circulates with an adequate speed, if it didn't the value of bitcoin will be zero since that is not the case then bitcoin is circulating freely among its user base, and about the tax bitcoin is not currently taxed.
2718  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: December 12, 2016, 11:23:59 PM
Investing today doesnt really give you profit. You can switch to trading instead of investing. But $40 is a little bit too low. Try to increase it atleast $100. Then buy some altcoin and dump it when it pumps. It is better than investing your money into unknown site. You will be scammed if youre not careful.
That is better but without knowledge about it you can easily lose everything in an instant since trading is not an easy job especially if you are newbie in the altcoins markets.

2720  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: December 09, 2016, 04:59:02 AM
2022 is too soon to reach that level of adoption, something gigantic will need to happen for bitcoin to reach those levels of adoption while some level of economic turmoil is to be expected nothing that big seems to be close to happening.
