We can't tell because nobody/no one would say how many bitcoins he/she has on his/her hands  There is not proof either way, besides satoshi should be the one that has the most bitcoin of all since he mined most of the first blocks, besides if any government agency has bitcoins that should be the CIA and not the FBI however it is difficult to believe that any government is holding large quantities of bitcoin, in a way that will be like admitting that at the end bitcoin is going to win. |

Although bitcoin is the mother of all altcoins, but altcoins can still evolve well, has been rumored that eth may replace bitcoin positions. If bitcoin dies, maybe eth will replace bitcoin position. But I'm sure if bitcoin will not die easily. Anyone from any financial background has the ability to use bitcoin. Because of the prices now it obviously will take a large stake to purchase a large position, but you can still invest $100 and probably still get better returns over the year than you would on any other investment that is available on the market.
Correct people look at bitcoin and think they can only buy full bitcoins but you can invest any amount that you feel like it, but it is obvious that the more money you put in an investment then the greater the returns, this is nothing new it is a very well known principle in investing, if the amount of money you invest is too low then your profits are going to be low too but if you invest a big amount of money then your earnings are going to be big as well. |

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?
I have seen so many coins or token that is under their ICO price but I still think that it could still be promising . It really depends on the project I think even if some of the coin is undervalue for a couple of weeks or month it could be pump if the project is great. Correct, the most important aspect are the developers of the project, it does not matter if the the token goes below ICO price if I believe in the project that could be a good opportunity to buy even more of the token for a discount that way when it skyrockets you can get even better profits or if you like you could sell at an earlier moment now that you have reduced the average price of each token you own. If the project is funded and there are people behind the project that makes it legit, I think its worth investing. It only needs time to make the price go up. I saw a lot of project since the time I have been here in the bitcoin community and witness projects looks scam because of fudsters but after the development, investors started to buy by bulk. I know that when it comes to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies there are almost no rules but what you are describing should be forbidden, the developers of a project should not buy their own tokens, they have insider information about the coin, they could send a message that the development is going to take an additional 6 months and that makes the price tank then they buy cheap and then they deliver the results in just two months and the coin skyrockets and they make a fortune. |

I just watched the video and the one guy speaking in it said the banks are frauds and we have to rely on them for trust etc.
Well we do have to rely on miners, BUT in our case the miners are more on our side because for BTC to continue to do well we have to continue to use it. If they abuse it people won't use it. That = huge price drop. That = miners lose.
Banks are useful but the problem is they have abused their power for too long that is why no one trust in them, bitcoin may have its own shares of problems but it is way better than what any bank can offer, I have full ownership of my money, the only one that has control over my money is me, it cannot be frozen at will and even more importantly I do not have to pay big fees just because I have a wallet. |

Was expecting a dump after the segwit lock down in Bitcoin, but nothing happened. II think Litecoin will rise again this year, maybe to 100 bucks
I think it may be a good time to invest in litecoin, with the upcoming fork in November I think there is a big chance the price of bitcoin goes lower and Litecoin goes up for the single reason none of this drama is happening at the moment in the litecoin community also if the worst case scenario happened and bitcoin did not survive the fork, something very unlikely, then a lot of that money will go to litecoin. |

I agree with you, maximize wallet security features and I sure it can hamper hacking or you can use wallet offline the security is more secure than the online wallet. Another good security measure is to have your coins in several wallets, that way if a hacker gets access to the seed words or your private keys then he cannot steal your whole funds and instead is going to steal only a small fraction, this is why storing your coins in cold storage is a must for those that have big quantities of bitcoin or for those that want to make sure their coins are safe. |

I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!
I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500
Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?
Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

Television has been very effective in advertising something so I believe that bitcoin become more popular to people if bitcoin will be watched from T.V. People are always watched TV for them to be able to become aware with their environment so bitcoin is suitable to advertise on TV. Television is slowly becoming obsolete now more people spend more and more time online in front of their computers than watching televisions and it is not difficult to understand why, when you watch television that is the only thing you can do but when you are online you can watch something on youtube or you can read your favorite news site, or you can access bitcointalk, so there is nothing the television can do that compares to a computer with internet. |

Lol this is insane bitcoin price has the a great future and potential to become that price but not in the year of 2018 maybe it will took many years before it will become more that we cna oredict it but its really impossible if bitcoin price will become in demand and company will accept bitcoin as there business then maybe demand will be increase. Yes, based on the increasing demand will be the price increase. On the whole I believe the price will be reaching high all of a sudden when few countries officially regulate bitcoin as it that happened when Japan, Australia and few countries consecutively started accepting bitcoin. There's a possibility that bitcoin value was increase up to $5000 but in my opinion it is not happen in this year. More probably $5000 was happen on the first quarter of 2018 but it is only speculation because only my basis is the good fluctuation of bitcoin in the market. However, I was bother on the continuous increasing of bitcoin, hopefully that it will continue until next year. I do not know about that, bitcoin is above 4000 dollars at the moment and while it is obvious a correction is coming I think we all know that bitcoin has a tendency to go up at the end of the year so it is not crazy to think that bitcoin can reach the price of 5000 dollars before the end of the year, but your guesses are as good as mine. |

I think only ICOs with great ideas mean profit, not all makes money to token holders. But I really love current stage, lots of devs bring whole new ideas into crypto.
We are in a place very similar to the dot com bubble, many ideas are being tested out and we are seeing which ones work and which ones do not, there are going to be many projects that are not worth your time, there are going to be some projects that are scams and there are a small number of projects that are worth your time and money but those are difficult to find. |

The purpose of a design of a logo is not to be impressive is to be recognizable and to be original, for example you cannot create a currency that looks too much like the US dollar or you could get in trouble, luckily for us the symbol and the colors of bitcoin make it very recognizable, it is a clean and clear design that anyone that can recognize. |
