2021  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: August 26, 2017, 02:35:51 AM
THIS CASINO IS SCAM

BE CAREFUL DO NOT PLAY HERE

i got scammed here at bitdice. i shuld have know better. they are not license like all other safe casino. they have phoney costa rica licence. which is bullshit becuz no one should trust a costa rica with gaming. they cheat.

i fell for all dumb shill sig carrior of bitdice and if you look thread is only who post the shill. no real user.

good luck to all that got ripped in ico of phony casino that only out to steal fund

New account, first post. Seems legit.

Also, first show some proof.

That's my initial reaction as well.  This is a trend I've noticed here in the Bitcoin gambling space, the minute a particular BTC casino is on its way to grow and become more successful there come these new accounts claiming that they've been scammed or something.

C'mon guys.  Stop it.
Since the newbie that delivered those wild accusations has no given any proof of it, as expected, then my only conclusion is that is a paid account trying to damage the reputation of the BitDice casino, this is critical since at the moment as we know, the casino is running its own ICO to raise funds, so I will not be surprised if a rival is doing this to pollute the good name of the BitDice casino with baseless accusations.
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 26, 2017, 02:25:15 AM
Bitcoin offline wallet is very safe but bitcoin online wallet is not so safe. We know that now a lot of web fishing that can deceive you. So your password and email can be hacked. Some of my friends have experienced the loss of bitcoin caused by hackers.
Correct, even if you have some knowledge about computers and are aware of some of the risk lurking on the internet, you must always remember there is always someone smarter than you and that knows more about it, that is why it is better to not let any significant amount of money in an online wallet or an exchange or you could be a victim of a hacker that found a new way to steal bitcoins.
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 26, 2017, 02:21:13 AM
Lol conspiracy theories.  Roll Eyes

If they did have many many bitcoins let's hope the burn them all and bring the value of Bitcoin up for the rest of us. Or would they try to manipulate the market ?

I don't think so. Why would be FBI hold Bitcoin and how will they got those Bitcoin? The criminals they caught does not all have Bitcoin and once caught, they might not tell their password and wallet account to the FBI agents. They can still deny having their Bitcoin.

I guess they think it's probably from confiscated Bitcoin from criminals on scam exchanges and the likes. For example the siezure on mtgox.
The only reason for security agencies to hold bitcoin will be to manipulate the price or to try to make some sting operations, they are not going to burn bitcoin since that will help the holders of bitcoin, at best I think they will be forced to sell it if they are not allowed to hold bitcoin for some reason, after all bitcoin is valuable and they could use the money for something else instead of just throwing it away.
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every ICO can F*ck off, especially SONM. on: August 26, 2017, 02:17:16 AM
SONM really caused a huge loss for me too. I joined the ICO and the biggest regret for me. They sold 30 or 40 million dollar euqivalent SNM tokens, but they couldn't manage to be on reputable exchangers. This is also interesting, we still have liqui with zero volume. After this experience, I learnt not to join every ICO randomly.
Right I agree with you, SONM is a good project and everyone trusts it. After the ICO ended I thought Dev would work with a big exchanger like Bittrex. I am still disappointed with SONM because the price is so cheap from ICO prices.
If you like SONM and you think it has a future and that it can go up in price then this is the perfect opportunity to buy SONM since it is so cheap, you are going to get even more earnings than all of those that bought at ICO prices, personally I will not invest on it, but if you want to take a shot this seems like the perfect moment to do so, since you do not have too much to lose.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: August 26, 2017, 02:14:13 AM
For me two alt coins have very likely potential to see 100x. They are Neo and ofc our favorite Waves. These two will eventually see something like 100x but as for 1k I'm not sure about it and i highly doubt anyone can predict a 1000x.
The problem is the time frame, how long it is going take for those coins to pump as hard as you are predicting, because I could see waves pumping 10 or even 20 times its current value but to think it could go up to 100 times that value then we need to consider how long are you willing to wait for a pump of that size to happen, since I do not see that happening in this decade.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: August 25, 2017, 05:04:44 AM
I think there is no need to advertise on TV because it has been advertised in Japan and in the end, who is the most profitable? Let it develop bitcoin community I think it's the best way for bitcoin to survive and grow. Also because it was not recognized by many countries, I think now advertising is unnecessary

I don't think also that advertising in television is needed. First who will fund it? It could be better to discover by ourselves or with known person guidance that knowledgeable on btc. Advertising it may cause for government to put taxes.
Advertising cannot generate taxes since you are not earning from selling advertising but rather buying ads on the other hand I think that is too inefficient, you are going to pay for an ad whether people watch it or not, and we do not have an assurance we are going to reach our target audience since younger generations are watching less and less television and are using the internet a lot more.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: August 25, 2017, 05:00:43 AM
Currently I only share my knowledge of Bitcoin with my closest relatives, and many are doubting me, because in my environment there are still many who understand about Bitcoin.
But I will continue to share despite a lot of rejection.
I think it is better that you give them some space, if they ask you about bitcoin share the information but let them get interested in bitcoin all by themselves if they do not get an interest from a coin that can change their lives then that is their problem not yours since you are already doing fine by being part of the most important forum regarding bitcoin in the whole internet.
2028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: August 25, 2017, 04:58:15 AM
I dont really think that bitcoin is gonna die soon, but nobody knows what can happen in a few years... As far as everybody knows here, bitcoin is the main cryptocurrencie, so it will continue growing in the next years, because this is the new era of money people, and everybody must know it.

There's a possibility that bitcoin die in the future, but in my opinion I think before it happen it will takes a hundred years. Because these coming past few days bitcoin shown of a good performance in the market and  I think it was enough to catch up the eye of many investors to support bitcoin. In additional bitcoin is the famous digital currency in the world now so I never think now the dying day of bitcoin.
It is very difficult to make predictions for such an extended periods of time, just look at the pace in which people replace cell phones even if the cell phones are still in prefect working condition, bitcoin is great but to think that nothing better is going to come along in the hundreds of years is in my opinion to be too naive and too optimistic.

Well I agree with you that there could be technology advancements etc. but Bitcoin could also be improved to meet the technological demands of the time either through a hard or soft fork.

That is correct but imagine that something similar to what happened with bitcoin happened in the future, a genius develops a new coin with completely incredible characteristics all by himself and then he releases the code, bitcoin will not have too much time to adapt the same way the world did not have too much time to adapt to bitcoin and if the coin has the same level of innovation that bitcoin had back in the day then things could get really difficult.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoincash / BCC price be equal to bitcoin / BTC price? on: August 25, 2017, 04:54:59 AM
I do not think that the prices will be equalized, because bitcoin has a lot of usage areas, Bch does not have usage areas, many companies work with bitcoin, and if this has become a tradition, I paid a a cafe via litecoin in italy at once, usage areas are always valued.
Right now, there is nothing you can do with your bitcoin cash except speculate with it, it is going to be interesting what happens from now on, if people begin to try to use their bitcoin cash then we could see business starting to adopt bitcoin cash and that is where the real danger is, I do not care about the price of bitcoin cash but about its adoption.
2030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins needed for martingale on: August 25, 2017, 04:43:12 AM
Well.. we need unlimited of bitcoins to play gambling using strategy martiangle because every time we are lost in gambling,
we must make doubles betting from the first lost and keeps continuous every time losing.
The bad thing from this strategy is no one people around the who have unlimited money, this strategy is never work in gambling
many people have tried this strategy and they just got losing large of money.
Not only you are going to need an unlimited amount of money, no casino allows you to bet an unlimited amount of money, there are limits to how much you can bet in a single roll of a dice so when you come to the point where the amount you need to bet in your martingale system is bigger than the allowed bet then you know that you are going to lose a lot of money.
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC upto 5000$!! on: August 25, 2017, 04:35:03 AM
I think rarely people who buy bitcoin in 2009 still keep it until now surely they are tempted when Bitcoin rises at a price of 2000$ or 3000$

I think there are only a few people still holding their <2010 coins. If you take into consideration that the price back then was just a few cents, and then later when the price reached $10, a whole lot of these early birds would definitely use that opportunity to cash out their massive profits. After that the price increased to $100>$200>$500>$1000, etc. It requires steel balls and dedication to keep holding the coins bought for a few cents a piece till now. I think at least 99% of the <2010 coins have been cashed out below the $1000 level.
This, I’m sure that back in the day the idea of bitcoin reaching 10, 20 or 50 dollars per coin seemed as crazy as those that now predict 50000 per coin, most of those that got their coins mostly for free sold them, only a handful of people still have their early coins, many not only cash them out but gave them away or spend them in things they needed at the time.
2032  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 24, 2017, 08:26:00 PM
In my country, you only need around five bitcoins to become a millionaire. Just over a year ago, I still could afford buying five bitcoins all at once but did not do so because I did not anticipate or expect that the price is going to rise to where it is now. Now, all I can do is buy in small fractions and add that to what I earn from my signature campaign, but I hope I am able to get to at least five bitcoins before the price reaches $10K.
You don't have to regret it because the bitcoin is fluctuating where nobody knows what the price of bitcoin will be in the future. at least you already thought that it would be profitable to have bitcoin because of the increasing daily demand that makes bitcoin prices soar in the future.
Yes be glad that we had this revelation when bitcoin is still 4000 dollars and that we are not going to be like the average person that is probably going to begin to buy bitcoin when it is worth 5 figures, this is why I’m doing my best as well to get more bitcoin, I have a target of 20 bitcoins, that is a lot of money but if I get them and hold for a long time, it is very likely that I will retire very early in my life.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: August 24, 2017, 08:21:30 PM

yesss and it will continue to rise until no one knows how much

maybe $10k or even $100k  ? just enjoy the ride or buy if you haven't got any btc

I think we are getting to the point in which it is getting late to get in, what I mean is that the price keeps climbing and it becomes more and more difficult for normal people to get a bitcoin, at the moment the price is so high that many in the third world cannot afford a single bitcoin, and if things keep going in this direction the average people in the first world will be unable to get a full coin too.

You are forgetting one thing, bitcoin can be bought in little chunks and over the time you can own full bitcoin too. There is simple calculation, if the price of bitcoin is increasing then so as to your current investment is increasing. You will have your investments equally increased over the time and there is no loss out of it.

It all about money, whether you have 4000 USD or 10,000 USD is what matters a lot and not the bitcoin full or half!

But the issue is that if you buy 0.1 BTC and then the price goes up to 10000 you still got 0.1 BTC, yes, now is more valuable than when you bought it but now is even harder to get that same 0.1 BTC, for many people including myself, buying 1 BTC at the moment is very difficult because that is a lot of money and not many people have that cash in hand and the longer you wait the harder it gets.
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The most undervalued crypto? on: August 24, 2017, 08:13:18 PM
We are in bubble mode right now and most of coins are over-pumped.
In your opinion, which crypto-asset on the market today is less overpriced compared to real long-term opportunity? Is there any project with strong technical development and low level of PR / promotion?

There are several altcoins in a bubble, but there are also some altcoins devalued!

As the Bitcoin price is rising there will be a correction!

This creates the perfect opportunity for those that had some altcoins in their sights not only an altcoin may be devalued you can buy it with an overvalued coin that you hold and get a lot more bang for your buck, this way you can easily accumulate many new promising altcoins and get rid of your altcoins that are about to drop in price, the market is giving to us a great opportunity do not waste it.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: August 24, 2017, 08:09:17 PM
Some ICOs were total bust, they scammed people including me for good, however there are still some good ICOs running currently which are somewhat promising, I would never trust and invest on ICOs claiming to be a crypto currency, we have Bitcoin to be just that, tokens should be worth something only on a platform related to the project. Iconomi was one successful ICO and now Social is another one however the price is a bit high at least for me that's why I just bought a few for now to see what happens in coming days.

You shouldn't just judge ICOs by the way the price has moved in the few months past the ICO. I would say the ICO is successful when the project is fully developed and the tokens are used for the purpose they were intended for (as opposed to being traded around).
Correct an ICO that delivers the promised product is a successful ICO, most of the time as it is to be expected those are the projects that become successful long term, a useless coin may pump once in a while but if it does not deliver the goods at some point the coin is going to be worth nothing, so even if a good project dumps at the beginning of its life that is not a sign the project cannot become a success in the future.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥 BITCOlN CASH JUST MINED FIRST EVER 8MB BLOCK!!!! 🔥 on: August 24, 2017, 08:06:13 PM
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/block/479469
Number of transactions of this block: 37,814

Now there is no doubt that BCH is the real Bitcoin!

5To blockchain incoming within a year ! Enjoy more centralization due to less nodes operating.
Are there Bitcoin cash nodes running? What I mean is, what is the point? Even if you run a node now the increase in the size of the blockchain is going to be so big that at some point the person running the node will have to invest more and more money to keep running the node or stop doing it, so what is the point of running a node of bitcoin cash when in a few months or years you are not going to be able to keep it running.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: August 22, 2017, 01:44:40 AM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1  :)million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

Wow! I wonder How do they get it? is it from trading they got? Or what? the amount of bitcoin they have was not a joke, its equivalent of millions in my country's currency. I wish someday I could have at least 100BTC.
You can earn that amount of bitcoin that you wish for if you will work hard in trading because trading is one of the best source of bitcoin and also to grow your bitcoin but it will take a lot of time before you able to make 100 bitcoins because trading will not become easy especially for those newbies who want to try it.
I agree with you in this regard that we can only increase our bitcoins by trading.
Trading is the only solution for increasing your coins and enjoying profit from them. Holding onto coins does produce profit but that demands too much of patience.
While you are correct in your assessment that holding requires a lot of patience the truth is that is the only thing that it requires, trading in the other hand needs a big capital, knowledge guts and wait for it, patience, that is why I prefer to hold it is very easy to do, anyone can do it and the only thing I need to do is to avoid touching my bitcoin for a very long time.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every ICO can F*ck off, especially SONM. on: August 22, 2017, 01:37:58 AM
ICOs should be either regulated and bounded to follow some rules to protect investors or should be forbidden.
There is no way that you can invest into something which offers no investor protection.
Greedy investors are unable to comprehend what risk they've agreed to by trusting their money to ICO managers.
There is rarely any innovation these days and certainly no decentralization.
There are going to be some attempts like what the SEC is doing at the moment but that is not going to stop ICOs, there is simply too much money to be made for the developers and they are not going to stop creating new projects as long as people are willing to invest in those projects without any kind of protection, if people required all of those protections we are talking they will not invest in ICOs on the first place.

I hope, that after SONM, EOS and BNT, some participants will have learnt their lessons: Looking at the price x nb tokens and get the MCap of the project beofre investing.
Imho, the recipe for an ICO, based on the amount of cash needed for development and the expected returns is:

- raising between $2M and $10M maximum, CAPPED amount.
- ensuring a fair token distribution, with multiple rounds (avoid the IGNIS drama), over couple weeks.
- making sure that it brings your Market cap not more than $20M to $50M. (that leaves a x2 potential with some announcements, community drive, and product releases before arriving on exchanges, and leaves room for a x10 to x100 if the company becomes a global hit)

This is something that I think as well, and I think the cap is the most important, I do not see why a project needs to get tens of millions of dollars or even hundreds of millions as some ICOs have raised, after that kind of public support there is nothing for the coin but to go down, the developers need t understand that even if it is understandable they want to raise as much money as possible they need to put the needs of their investors as a top priority as well.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 22, 2017, 01:34:30 AM
Every day there is a new thread here about someone getting their wallet hacked, so obviously the answer to this is yes.
It is not as simple most of the time the wallet does not get hacked, the victim downloaded from a fake site a wallet that was infected with a virus, or they downloaded a piece of software that included a virus, or they were simply careless about the security of their seed word or the private key and then a hacker takes advantage of the opportunity and steals all the money.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: August 22, 2017, 01:31:23 AM
What are your thoughts? Which coin to buy cheap?
Do not get me wrong but if anyone was 100% sure that a coin will go 100x or 1000x then we will invest all the money we have and invest in that coin and become rich overnight, there are good coins out there, but do not look for a coin that can give such earnings because only a few are going to be able to predict the full potential of a coin the rest of the investors are just going to get lucky.
