2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: July 30, 2017, 06:36:31 AM
There are ICOs that are worth investing. The crucial point is the team and that is the place where one should be looking at, if the dev teams have a good track record.
The developers are critical when it comes to the success of a coin but at the same time the developers are not important if the project is not going to work at the end, the code does not matter if the idea and the coin itself is not going to work because it does not solve anything or because it does not have a market that can grow, so it is important to read the whitepaper and see if the coin has a future, then you can focus in the execution.
2142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: July 29, 2017, 02:24:01 AM
According to reports 2/3 of bitcoins have been mined and 1/3 lost. If that is accurate information I could see Altcoins becoming more popular. Most people don't realize that you can buy part of a share of a bitcoin. After seeing the $3,000 price tag most don't look further in to it. I believe bitcoin is in too deep to fail. It's already to far along to not work. Now this could take decades to really take off but I think eventually everyone on this forum will be sitting pretty. It might take 10-20 years but if you stick with it the payoff will be worth it.
Bitcoin is too big to fail, but I’m not using this phrase the way it is used by governments, bitcoin is too big to fail because people are not going to let it fail, if bitcoin needs an upgrade, business, users, miners and the devs are going to make a push for it, there may be differences about the way to do this, but everyone wants the same, we want bitcoin to succeed.
2143  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: July 29, 2017, 02:18:31 AM
I think that's idea good is but better is that you slowly in on
investments go.Not because, I think it is in those jahr such decisions rishikant is. I think that's better that young people of beginning learn, how neads better and safer invest.
in fact young people have mostly less experience and they mostly do not know proper ways of trading, therefore they should join trading but should invest money with extreme care and should only invest such amount of money they he can bare to lose, because in very beginning he will face to lose money for some time and after getting experience he will become able to make more money.
Investing and trading are not the same thing, a young person without too much knowledge can make a lot of money with bitcoin by simply buying bitcoin and holding, that does not require any kind of great knowledge you just need to have money and the will to hold your bitcoins even when the price is going down, the problem with the young is not inexperience is the lack of patience.
2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens when ETH is the #1 coin? on: July 29, 2017, 02:15:23 AM
Mark My word ETH will be Next King IF if if .... Bitcoin Split then for sure ETH will take over position of Bitcoin
No one ever knew when but i can say one thing this could be happened soon !!! Just Chilled  Grin
I disagree, if bitcoin split and supposing that made a lot of damage to the image of bitcoin and it never recovered, the next in line is not Ethereum, the next in line is Litecoin, which is basically bitcoin with segwit activated already so we will continue as usual except that the name of the coin most people support will change slightly, Ethereum is a good technology but it is not a currency.
Why next subjects is Litecoin? I know Litecoin is version 2.0 of Bitcoin and it just have mission PR, support or testing SegWit helps Bitcoin. Ethereum really best choice after Bitcoin SegWit2x and get some error
There are several reasons.
1 Litecoin is an old coin so people trust it because of it.
2 Litecoin is basically bitcoin with segwit activated so we can avoid all the drama of the activation and a split.
3 If I remember correctly some devs of bitcoin core have stated that they will move to litecoin if segwit was not activated on bitcoin.

Don’t get me wrong ETH is a good crypto but it is not a currency in my mind and as such it cannot perform the same functions as bitcoin did.
2145  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: July 29, 2017, 02:10:08 AM
I was not worries regarding declining price of bitcoin in the market because I know that it was a strategy of bitcoin to increase the number of members with bitcoin account and also I believe that bitcoin price were increase after decreasing.
We should know this, any issues that crypto can face it can always get solve especially in btc since it can really be the future of cryptocurrency it does influence a lot of users and bussinesman.

Not all to be exact. For example bitcoin, bitcoin still lacks fast confirmation, the reason it needs to be developed. Also it has an unstable price which is not good because if we want bitcoin to be used by many, it must have an unstable price. Also, we know that the influence of somehing is not always positive.
Bitcoin cannot achieve a stable price like the one gold has until its market cap grows to the point that it cannot be longer manipulated by huge whales, and the only way to do that is for people to take the risk in bitcoin and to adopt it, I know it is risky but if those people want to benefit from bitcoin then they also need to risk a little and stop being on the sidelines and join the game.
2146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 29, 2017, 02:05:52 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
There are a lot of people asking me today about bitcoin due to the money I am obtaining each and every day because of bitcoin. They are asking me so often about how do they make an account or how specifically I earn from bitcoin. Many of my friends now are busy with bitcoin and they are also earning like me. I'm currently guiding my newbie classmates with bitcoin and I am happy to help.
Good for you that you have so many willing students, despite the difficult situation in my country and the fact that I keep talking about bitcoin in every chance I get no one ask me about bitcoin so I have decided to stay silent about it for some time to see if they are interested to get into bitcoin, this can be the last chance for my friends to adopt bitcoin.
2147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: July 29, 2017, 02:01:24 AM
can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?
In fact, they can’t hack any online wallet because of the high security and it has private that you’re the only one who knows it. And, I think even professional hacker cant hack any online wallet. I think there are no chances that they can hack online wallet. Lastly, you can a sure that your bitcoin is totally safe in online wallet.
It seems you are new here, hacks are very common in the world of crypto, that is why for those that have big holdings of any cryptocurrency is suggested they keep those funds in cold storage, if a computer is not connected to the internet then the chances a hacker can hack your computer remotely are zero, now the hacker needs physical access to your machine and that is something harder to achieve.
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2017, 12:48:57 AM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
In the drop of bitcoin a lot of holders just sell there bitcoin but other dont want to be like that they can sell there bitcoin in a dump price in the market because they will not earn any profit in that situation so they will just hold and wait until the second time pump.
If a holder sell his bitcoin he is not a holder, especially if he sells for a loss, it is very easy to hold when things are right but it is when your investments are underwater where the real determination of the holder is put at test, that is when we must hold if you don’t and sell then you are going to get losses and I do not know about you but I’m in bitcoin to get earnings and not losses so the only thing to do at that point is to hold.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: July 28, 2017, 12:45:26 AM
Very good question! It seems like Bitcoin is going down a bad path, with fees always increasing... I hope they can find a way to fix this, but maybe SafeCoin is the only way forward, so it can have zero transaction fees (MaidSafe "project safer")
Bitcoin is going in a good direction the problem is there are many visions for bitcoin, the developers have a vision, the miners have a vision, the users, have a vision and it seems we are unable to come to an agreement about what it is what we should do, even now the scaling wars are not over, with some miners deciding to release a hard fork called bitcoin cash and the fork the miners are planing after segwit gets activated.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Investing 101 - How to Win on: July 28, 2017, 12:41:18 AM
as a real world ft trader for many years (and many years before i got into crypto) 100% agree on your views on TA (as i've often stated "i've meet many extremely wealthy traders, i'm yet to meet a wealthy chartist"), and yes counter culture is basically 101 howto trade.

trading is kinda opposite world, people seem to be afraid to go against the crowd, i've been able to become a ft trader because i'm scared to follow the crowd....i think its nuts to follow the crowd in trading  Shocked

(though tbh don't care too much for the crypto picks).
I think this too but many never learn the lesson when the price goes down everyone is like, bitcoin is dying, the world is ending, when I see that the first thing that I think is cool, I can get cheap bitcoin, when it goes high many are predicting that bitcoin is going to reach some impossible  and ridiculous price that is when I decide to sell dome of it and cash out only to wait for the next opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin again.
2151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: July 28, 2017, 12:35:23 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Bitcoin doesn't need any advertisement on media like tv and radio. Most of the people have been used the internet so they are allowed to see this. Bitcoin can see in advertisement via the internet. Companies should advertise their products and the one payment method is through Bitcoin. Bitcoin popularity is on its own.
Also bitcoin offers so many advantages that people will begin to adopt it organically, it is the same process we are seeing in japan with so many businesses accepting bitcoin on their own, no one is forcing them they are accepting bitcoin because it makes sense for them to do so and when more people begin to understand that fact then the growth of adoption is going to raise exponentially.
2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy new altcoins in ICO stage = profit? on: July 28, 2017, 12:30:31 AM
Title.

Basically is this how its done to receive a profit on Cryptocurrency?

or just invest when research and news is done.

Thank you
That is one thing you could do, if you believe a project is worth your time and effort then you could invest in the ICO of the project and then wait until the project is completed, if you do that then the coins is going to raise in price naturally and at some point investors are going to go crazy over the coin and the price will rise very high, then you sell your coins and enjoy your profits, but it is easier said than done.
2153  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: July 28, 2017, 12:27:35 AM
When will go up again bitcoin
I think after august 1, bitcoin will rise up again who knows, for now bitcoin is falling down slowly because of this news about bitcoin is going segwit. I'm losing my bitcoin now but i'm going to hold it let see what will happen after august 1.

No one can tell when will bitcoin rise again but this rise will be certain. As bitcoin is a digtital currency and like real currency it always have fluctuations and its all usual, nothing to worry and to panic. For now hold our coins and let's all wait what's gonna happen next. Maybe a win or lose decision to all of us here.
This is why one of the most recommended strategies in the forum is to hold since we do not know how high the price of bitcoin is going to go or when so the best thing to do is to have your coins ready that way when bitcoin gains in value the only thing you need to do is to sell a part of it and then when the price goes down to buy again, this is a foolproof method to raise your bitcoin.
2154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Block Reward will be after 1 Aug? on: July 27, 2017, 01:33:38 AM
Hi Guys,

just a simple question, After 1 Aug, mining BTC will bring me more coins than before 1 Aug? if my daily earnings is currently 0.5 BTC then after 1 Aug my daily mining will bring me 1 BTC regardless of the price.

Thanks,
The block reward will be the same but since there is going to be a fork in the form of bitcoin cash then it is possible some miners decide to switch and the difficulty diminishes you will get more bitcoin that way, remember that the the block reward only diminishes about every four years and that is going to happen approximately on June 2020.
2155  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: July 27, 2017, 01:22:09 AM
I really want to thanks to the bitcoin because the opportunity that the bitcoin gave to us.

Thanks to whomever is Satoshi Nakamoto because of bitcoin we are able to have some decent opportunities in our lives. We need to be thankful also to God because if it is not for Him, creations will not be invented and people will not have the intelligence that we have now. For sure there are now a lot of people that became rich in bitcoin.

This is absolutely true. Many of us made lot with it and many will in future. For this as opportunity is really something that no one has hoped to be. When all started no one believed in bitcoin many were off the grid about it but look at it now. We are in technological era and bitcoin is worth more then gold.
In modern era people should go for bitcoin instead going for gold. Because for Gold if you are going then it is useless if you are going for bitcoin then it is meaningful and it can help you a lot so Yes I would like that suggest for everyone that use bitcoin now a days because it has more benefits as compare to gold.
Bitcoin is great but to be honest you will make a mistake if you discard gold, gold is still way more popular than bitcoin so If I were you I will keep some gold at hand just in case, because if the economy collapses then people are going to try to get hard assets and one of the assets people are going to run is gold and the price will skyrocket in a matter of days.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: July 27, 2017, 01:18:50 AM
Now is not the best time to invest, but whether you have been harmed by ICO itself, if you have ever been harmed by ICO, then you no longer need to invest ICO. If I myself still believe in ico
You need to do your job by studying your investment before doing it, ICOs offer great price as "ICO price" and it's cheaper usually
than the amount you will see when it's out to the market.
As long as the ICO is good then I do not see anything wrong with investing in it, there are many things we need to look for in an ICO before investing in it, read the white paper does it makes sense? Do you think it has a future? It solves something? Is there a market to it? If most or all answers are yes then you can make money if the answers are a bunch of don’t, then most likely the project it is not going to be a success.

There are ICO that are really helpful and investing on it is indeed a great opportunity for us to earn, read their whitepaper, see their escrows, know their goals and roadmap. If everything seems right especially teams were coordinating then it will surely not a scam just hope for many investors to take it then it guarantees also your success in investing.
Yeah the only problem, is that people do not do their due diligence and for them a coin is a scam if they do not make money and it is a good coin if they make money, which is a terrible mistake when evaluating a coin, we must evaluate a coin in terms of what it can do for the community and what problems it solves that way by investing in such a project the possibility of getting scammed can go down significantly.
2157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitrrex to handle the chain split on: July 25, 2017, 03:29:45 AM
I did not wanted to make  new thread for  this and posted it on other thread but from the look of it no one bother reading the posts . So  maybe this will work .. New thread ^^

Bitrrex stated that they will credit both chains with coins if split happen . That what they claim they will do . So i guess there is no reason to worry if you have your BTC there they will do the job for you !

You do not understand, the exchanges may say they will do it and they may honor that promise, but at the end of the day you are relying on a third party to do your job, bitcoin is a way to have complete control over our funds, if you are letting someone else do this then you don’t have total and absolute control over your bitcoin that is the point and the reason why you must do this yourself.
2158  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 25, 2017, 03:25:35 AM
Well, in my opinion, Gold is Gold, Having more Golds means the higher the price of fiat money
Bitcoin is internet dependent, but holding it means investing it and waiting for the rise of the value of bitcoin.
Which is better? I think Gold is still better than Bitcoin when it comes to holding it and Gold is "physical".
The fact that gold is a physical asset is also a disadvantage, gold can be stolen very easily and it is very difficult to track also there are many counterfeits of gold, unlike bitcoin, no one can counterfeit a bitcoin, and there are some substances that are very similar to gold in the appearance that can fool people, gold is also very difficult to transport without bringing attention to yourself, so as you can see bitcoin has advantages over gold as well.

Bitcoin also has it's own disadvantage, Bitcoin price is very volatile right now and you don't want to lose your savings in bitcoin by 20% in a day. But Bitcoin is super easy to carry (paper wallet, or perhaps brain wallet) and you can spend bitcoin easily, but you don't want to reveal your BTC stash (this could be a threat to your safety) when you're selling some of Bitcoins into fiat.
It was not my intention to imply that bitcoin does not have any weak points all my point is that there are differences between gold and bitcoin and we must learn to choose the best tool for the job, if you want to store the value of your money there is not a better option than gold, but if you want to earn money by investing or trading there is nothing that can surpass bitcoin.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 25, 2017, 03:22:35 AM
Some of my co-workers are curious about it. They've asked me about what am I doing while we are on a lunch break. So I explained them the nature of bitcoins *on my own pointview* and How could they earn in extra money somehow. Though some did engage here but some thought it was a scam. I can't blame them for that.
Good for you, you are trying to help them and then they reject you, at least you gave them the chance to get into bitcoin and they refused when they begin to see how well you are doing they will beg you to help them to get into bitcoin as well, at that time it will depend on you personally I will refuse to help them but if you have a better heart then by all means help them.
