2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: July 16, 2022, 08:20:59 AM
I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work.
Many of them are, if you observe with those hundreds of bounties running. You'll only see a few of them become successful to pay their participants. That's why they're giving a rule that's favorable to them and it's like if they become successful, you'll be paid.

But if the project fails and marketing, you don't get paid.

Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?
There are too many factors that you can set but even having that, you'll still like floating in the air choosing what's good and bad.
2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 15, 2022, 11:49:52 PM
33 won't play with Tundra Esports on the Riyadh Masters 2022. From the reason that I've read from someone is that it's because Israelites are banned in Saudi Arabia. Please correct that if someone more knowledgeable to that issue.

As I was searching on the news, Saudi has lifted the ban from Israel flights and maybe that could change the stand in of Daxak for 33. If not, then there must be some other important reasons.

I was just curious when I've read someone said that about 33, Israel and Saudi.
2723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD Has Finally Taken Its Toll on Me on: July 15, 2022, 11:03:49 PM
Even they'll ban PoW, will they stop people do bitcoin mining at their home's underground or basements?

But if that's your concern and it is making you worry that much, it's better for you to just follow what you think will put you at peace. Putting such pressure on yourself should be avoided.

Anyway, just a tip to reduce the doubts, avoid reading too much conspiracies about bitcoin and negative news about it. Although, it's okay to read those negative news so you still understand and see what are those that impacts the market.
2724  Economy / Economics / Re: The current crypto bear could end the market. on: July 15, 2022, 10:12:51 PM
Many experts believe that the bear market trend is still continuing,
It doesn't need an "experts" opinion to tell that we're still in a bear market.

maybe an increase will occur in August or September, but I never worry about the future of bitcoin because the number of communities continues to increase significantly and more and more countries are actively opening tenders to legalize bitcoin.
We don't know when the reversal will. But that's the good approach that everyone must have, there is no need to worry if you're one of those people that's very enthusiastic with bitcoin.

We all know where it's going and that's why we're just trusting and holding it.
2725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency market is currently a hot spot for whales. on: July 15, 2022, 05:58:57 PM
Whales are the ones benefiting from the bear market presently. Because they always take good advantage of the bear market since they have enough USDT, BNB and BUSD to bagged coins, so it's not their problem if the market crashes. They buy enough coins during this bear period like the recent dump of Bitcoin which is currently at $19000, they even buy plenty pieces of it and wait for it's bull run up before selling. Let's say they are the ones that's incharge of the bear market because it's their thing and they fully know how to deal with it unlike investors who don't want to lose a penny in the bear market.
They really do.

But we need to learn from them and it shouldn't only be them that take that opportunity when it knocks. We can copy what they do despite that we're not par with their budget and capital.

Whatever you have as resource, just use it and do what also they do which is productive and profitable to them. That doesn't mean that you need to copy the whole thing they do but do what makes you also comfortable and productive during this bear market.
2726  Economy / Economics / Re: Your coins on CEX may be at risk this bear season on: July 15, 2022, 04:16:53 PM
Not only during the bear markets but all of the time.

That's why it's spreading on the forum that if you don't hold the keys, then you're not holding your funds in any exchange because it will never be.

Everyone not just the newbies but also those that have been long in the market to become vigilant. From the hacks, to the shutting down of exchanges due to several reasons and most of it are the same about can't tackle the bear market with their responsibilities, obligations and liabilities.
2727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet demand increases in 2022 bear market as exchange scramble on: July 15, 2022, 02:28:18 PM
I find this a very good news.

This only shows that many are starting to be well educated on how risky it is to keep their funds into exchanges. Many of us have been voicing that for years until the majority of hacks had come and now it's worse, exchanges disabling the withdrawals of users money.

I think that the demand for hardware wallets will continue to increase even for the next years.
2728  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank runs make u use crypto on: July 14, 2022, 11:22:16 PM
Speaking of China and bank.

--> https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-07-11/china-bank-protests-security-crackdown-demand-money-frozen/101225856

This is the one problem that the customers are demanding and dealing with it. For individuals like you and me, crypto is the solution to these problems and we're handling it on our own.

Just as said, "we're our own bank" but for the banks? There's only a little possibility that they'll adopt crypto.

Yes and you are right in saying that, it's just like at this time not all banks have accepted the concept of cryptocurrency, only a few in this generation were some banks that enjoy crypto. And we also know that even if we don't use a bank, we can still save money for our future with our own income that comes from crypto, which is where we hold our money as if it were the crypto is also like a bank for us.
I think that in relation to the banks, they're not going to wholly adopt crypto. But they're going to adopt the technology, blockchain.

That's more interesting to them and if ever they go adopt crypto, that will be nothing to us because we don't need them in managing our portfolios because we can do it on our own.
2729  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalizing on the strong US dollar? on: July 14, 2022, 10:32:00 PM
I've heard it from someone who's focused in forex trading. He said that in times like this, the best currency to put money to and is like a safe haven for them is JPY.

Doesn't look like "safe" heaven to me:

That's what I've heard actually from him. I've got no idea if he's on an expert level or not but he seems in forex for a long time. Anyway, I did also my research and this is the first that has popped. It's USD, Swiss Franc and JPY as safe haven based on this article.

--> https://ideas.repec.org/a/nwe/eajour/y2020i4p579-591.html

But at the moment, we all know that in short that it's USD.
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It looks like the bad guys have struck again on: July 14, 2022, 10:02:00 PM
Again?

This happens at most times and these hackers or the "bad guys" will keep doing what they've been living off when they see something to exploit.

They always see new tactics and reinvention with how they trick innocent users that don't update much of what they do. Yeah, it's important to be updated at most times.
With cryptocurrency usage users need to be more cautious than using the traditional system. With time we could see more and more forms of scam approach through which hackers breach into the wallets and take control over the funds. Initially it started with phising websites and now we don't know in what way they're attacking. So, in a each and everytime we use cryptocurrency we need to be very careful handling it.
Yeah.

They create a new style of scamming that no one has ever known but if you're going to analyze it, you'll have that clue and idea that they're scamming and they're not genuine.

It's for the sake of everyone that we need to take care of ourselves and our funds so that these bad actors won't at least get what they want to happen, and that is to victimize as much as they can.

While we're here, we also give warning and tip to the others and hopefully all of them listens.
2731  Economy / Marketplace / Re: California regulator investigating crypto interest accounts on: July 14, 2022, 11:08:35 AM
They're too late.

They should have given that warning even before the bull run. These crypto interest accounts have been there even before the most recent bull run and have been there all the time.

Now, we have started to see exchanges closing and halting withdrawals. It's good to have that warning today to warn the rest but many have been stuck already from those hugely affected exchanges by this bear.
2732  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalizing on the strong US dollar? on: July 14, 2022, 09:44:49 AM
I've heard it from someone who's focused in forex trading. He said that in times like this, the best currency to put money to and is like a safe haven for them is JPY.

That's what I've heard and not coming from me but on these times, if I'll be capitalizing myself into currencies. I'll choose two, EU and Chinese Yuan.

Because the basic rule in the market is this quote.

Quote
Everything that goes up, must come down.
2733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: July 13, 2022, 11:47:42 PM
The market is always unstable and that's how everyone is making or losing from it. As a beginner, you need to go through a lot of experience before learning where you're good and what strategy is going to work for you.

Read that guide as it contains a lot of information a beginner needs to know about the basics of trading.
2734  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Crypto Heist as of to Date, Are your Fund in peril? on: July 13, 2022, 10:52:55 PM
That Ronin hack was the highest and they've been popular since last year due to the first product they've got which is the Axie Infinity.

Sky Mavis isn't going to give up on that hack and good thing that Binance helped them recover a portion of it. Well, I guess they will still continue to move with their updates and what's on their road map.

They plan to be the Steam of games in the NFT games field.

yes there is also topic that disccused about this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406021.msg60557888#msg60557888 little bit crazy dont you think that bank can withdraw their customer money
Totally crazy.

Just like the centralized exchanges that are facing financial problems, they're not allowing their users to withdraw their money. So, that's the same problem from the banks and they can't just let go of it while facing a downturn.

Thanks for the link of that discussion.
2737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: July 13, 2022, 07:57:13 PM
First of all, when choosing an option for long-term investment, I would advise you to evaluate all the risks and possible development scenarios with the security that is chosen as an investment. It is very important.
And he knows that security and risk that you're telling about and that's why he's on that part of choosing which is the best to take that spot.

If you're focused on accumulating ETH then that's your calling and your plan which isn't bad at all. Because whenever bitcoin comes back again at the peak, ETH will come along and will also follow its chart.

2738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What update bitcoin needs to be the global stable coin? on: July 12, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
thoughts? any way to improve this mechanism to turn bitcoin in an stable coin forever?
It won't happen, never.

Know that bitcoin is volatile and is a PoW based consensus algorithm. What will make bitcoin change into a stable coin? Nothing, that's why there are stable coins already because that's what they think about it.

But if you're thinking about the stable price of bitcoin someday, who knows? When majority of the coins are gone and it's only bitcoin remaining with a few strong alts, maybe that day can finally happen.

2740  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on CBDC's and long-term effect on the cryptomarket on: July 12, 2022, 04:07:47 PM
Honestly, you don't have to think of it that much.

Upon hearing the news about CBDCs, they sounded like they're positive and good because they've including it as part of the crypto market. But, they're not really cryptos.

That's why, if you are too worried with them, you need to remove that in your mind and just ignore them and let them die or develop because in the end, it's another hype for the mainstream.
