2721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle CEO on BTC: Nobody Will Be Using Bitcoin in 5 to 10 Years on: December 09, 2016, 04:48:33 AM
The guy is just trying to get some free publicity that is all, besides the statement is too broad even if a new coin emerged I’m sure some people will keep using bitcoin even if just to prove him wrong.
2722  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: December 09, 2016, 04:35:19 AM
Business wills adopt bitcoin on their own when they see an opportunity to make lots of money, currently this is not the case for most business for the lack of people using bitcoin but this is bound to change.
2723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 09, 2016, 04:29:15 AM
if bitcoin died i will start trade with other coin but sometime i do not think that bitcoin will be died because bitcoin is too much stronger currency and get more power and more popularity and adoption of bitcoin is increasing too much faster day by day so bitcoin will be never died.
If bitcoin died then it is doubtful if the other coins could even survive, after all bitcoin is the one with the biggest user base and money and if bitcoin fail the first thing many people will think is, if bitcoin fail then this other coin is going to fail as well.
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: December 04, 2016, 06:52:35 PM
Well you are asking for our idea about bitcoin and from the title we can assume that you are pointing towards its success to be worldwide. In that case I am totally at the side of bitcoin that it will definitely be a worldwide currency after 5 years after looking at the support avail to it and everyone can see that the speed of its promotion is much high that none of the currency will be able to stop it.
Bitcoin is a already a worldwide currency the current problem is there is not enough people using bitcoin and in my opinion unless we see a major crisis in the economic world then we must not expect a huge raise in adoption.
2725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Attraction on: December 04, 2016, 06:49:20 PM
One reason why btc attracts me is Im just earning it from my phone. Though its a bit hard. You can earn from nothing to huge without going outside. And I can gamble without knowing my true identity.

How do you earn using your phone? Through signature campaigns or faucets? The money you earn through faucets probably won't be enough to pay for the data charges on your phone.  Grin
A possibility is that he is using his phone for signature campaign but instead of writing by hand he is using the speech recognition software that comes with most smart phones today, if you have a clear voice then it is possible to get over 95% accuracy.
2726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 04, 2016, 06:46:08 PM
It's pretty much like a domino game. If it died tomorrow, would you trust any altcoin? You wouldn't, many people would not do that either.  Bitcoin's fall = cryptocurrencies' fall because Bitcoin's like their mother. If US would fail, wouldn't pretty much the whole world fail too? If Euro/USD would fail, wouldn't all the others fail too? Same goes with Bitcoin too.
You have a point and you are correct it will really affect all altcoin if bitcoin will die tomorrow and people will surely lost its trust on all cryptocurrencies because on what happen to bitcoin but for now i dont think so that it will die easily as long people will use it then it will become stronger day by day and adoption cant be stopped .
It depends on why bitcoin dies in this scenario and the speed of the death if it was a knock out blow that destroyed bitcoin then we can be sure most other altcoins will probably dies as well, but if it was that easy to do then bitcoin will not be here like many other payment systems on the Internet, like liberty reserve or egold.
2727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: December 04, 2016, 06:41:48 PM
Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin.
No one will offer services for Bitcoin.
Spend Your Bitcoins.
LOL One of the characteristics any successful currency must have is to function as a way to store value so you can spend that value today or tomorrow, if that was not the case the currency will be useless since you will need to spend it as soon as you got it.
2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: December 04, 2016, 06:37:15 PM
For the country i think it is very hard but individual people it can because not all people in the countries can access bitcoin since poor people can not afford to but gadgets and they will prefer to buy foods to live longer.

Yes that's the main problem for those poor countries they don't even know how to use some gadgets such as computer, laptops and other things with is associated with technology. Because their education system is not even reaching those people who are really in need for many of them are living in depressed area.
i do not know how you define poor people or a poor country, but you have some misconceptions about that. you do not need to be educated to use those technical gadgets and you do not need much money to buy them. i think you are thinking of the super extremely poor, but they are just a minority.

I'm not having some misconceptions with that, I'm just pointing out the real actions and that's happening for those poor countries. Education is needed to use gadgets because it is now being used by many schools all over the world and what I'm pointing out is those people living in poor countries aren't able to touch gadgets and they need to spend their money just to be able to survive by buying foods also because they are living far from the city, I'm talking about the depressed area, where there is no electricity, no light, no power, no internet.
there are not many places left where people live with no electricity, no light, no power and no internet. and in the most cases they live in such places by there own choice. only the absolute porest of the poor live in such conditions and there are relatively few of them. you would be surprised about the technology poor people are using.
There are different levels of poverty, sometime ago I read that about 2 billion people in the world live with less than 2 dollars a day do you think someone can afford Internet or electricity with that amount of money? Poverty is a lot more widespread than you may think.
2729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: November 30, 2016, 03:42:34 AM
Poker is my best game, but it is not I’m really good at it, but the fact you cannot get better at playing dice since it does not matter what you do.
2730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed to Deliver ? on: November 30, 2016, 03:39:36 AM
Bitcoin has often been compared to the Internet itself. A project that will change the very world that we live in. The Internet has come to define the age that we currently live in, but can the same be said of Bitcoin? Has Bitcoin been an empty promise? Well, the truth is that we need to dig deeper into that question, and more importantly, we need to ask that question.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/has-bitcoin-failed-to-deliver

So in your opinion , Bitcoin has indeed failed to deliver or It's too soon to say?
Bitcoin runs over the Internet, so the Internet is a lot more flexible and with a lot more uses than bitcoin itself, so its no wonder that the Internet got adopted so fast but one thing we must understand is the Internet is a lot older than many people think since the 50 there were ideas about developing and at the end of the 60 and beginning of the 70 the first steps were made.
2731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: November 30, 2016, 03:35:11 AM
Bitcoin has very strong security the biggest weakness in bitcoin is the user, since you can be deceived and download a wallet infected by malicious code, or a key logger could be used to get your passwords or you could get scammed very easily.
2732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 30, 2016, 03:31:39 AM
Bitcoin can and is being used for good. We should definitely get rid of the tainted image of bitcoin being associated with the deep web and drug dealers on the deep web, because that is not what bitcoin really is. Bitcoin is an innovation that can bring about goodness to hundreds of thousands, or even millions of people worldwide that doesn't have a reliable banking system in their country.

Sean's outpost accepts donations in bitcoin and that is probably the biggest charity i know of that accepts BTC.
Bitcoin can be used for all of those good things but we cannot hide the fact that bitcoin is used in the dark marketplaces, but this is not unique to bitcoin, since it happens to every single currency of the world.
2733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 30, 2016, 03:28:27 AM

Impossible. Every year there is (supposedly) billions of dollar in form of donations going to countries in need of help, but in all the years nothing has happened. In fact, things have become worse. Put that against a few individuals making $10-$20 per week, how on earth will this get an entire country out of its misery? If the incentive for improvement isn't coming from the governments there, then it will never happen.
The problem with those donations is that is given to corrupt governments and they steal most of it and keep it to themselves, so it does not matter the amount of money we trow at them since most of it never reaches the people that really needs it.
2734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 26, 2016, 02:47:40 AM
You can give Bitcoin to homeless people now.
It looks like even they started using it.:-)
Look at below
https://imgur.com/gallery/Y2eRs
I wouldn't use "they" as that is just one guy and he's not a representative of all the homeless people in the world. Look at the sign, it's not the original sign that he's using. Someone must've put it there to put the photo on the internet and get some attention. Probably put it there just for the sake of fun. Personally, I haven't seen a homeless person have a phone, let alone a smartphone. They don't have the money to buy one and even if someone gives them a phone, they don't know how to use it and they don't have a place to charge it. It would just be a waste.
Most homeless people actually do have a phone and they also have access to the internet occasionally.
I know this because I've lived in Brussels for quite some time and talked to a lot of homeless people there, I know it's just one city and it may not be like this everywhere, but a phone is not that expensive, even a mid-tier smartphone.
But that is a first world country, in third world countries homeless people have problems to even get enough food for their survival, so it is very likely that in the third world homeless people don't have phones.
2735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: November 26, 2016, 02:40:10 AM
With forex trading, I earn a lot of money, and certainly after the elections.
With a good trategy make good profits.
Forex trading is for me my daily work.
wow that's good mate do you have any certain rules that you followed or just instinct you use before buying your trade? i really like to have this type of daily investment but im not familiar and still trying to understand i can't afford paying broker that can guide me i'm still reading and watching videos about how to gain good profits inside forex.
I really don't think someone just say, I'm going do this trade just because it feels right, there must be some kind of analysis behind the decision, we cannot just use our instinct and the trade to me that will be like gambling.
2736  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: November 26, 2016, 02:36:10 AM
The most people that does use this forum, as well try get an income online hasnt several skills, those which has they sell their services, but the regular earner doesnt have those option, for us we can try and there is no easy way to achieve or get near those, for we be able to make such income we need to put our bitcoins at risk, can be trading, sports bets or forex, gambling inst a way atleast not for me, dice and slots games.

To get one Bitcoin a month wont actually be a problem for someone who already has like 30btc because I have seen someone wager as much as that in a gambling site so dont let us see 1 Btc as a mountain that cannot be achieved. I agree that it will be difficult to gather for some just coming into Bitcoin and want to earn it including me myself too. But its achievable with the right combinations as suggested by OP  above...
If you have an important amount of capital then making 1 or 2 BTC a month is not really that hard if you also have skills in trading, but I think is a mistake to try to get that amount by gambling since your chances of winning are very low.
2737  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: November 26, 2016, 02:31:15 AM
Bitcoin absolutely worth to me. I have bought many bitcoins and used them since 2015 and i find it very effective and useful in many ways. Thanks to bitcoin, i can send money abroad in only a blink of an eye.
The convenience of using it, and the security of a payment system backed by Blockchain Technology, are some of the reasons why Bitcoin is worth to me as well.
Another interesting aspect is that Bitcoin allows the user to make profits, that means, btc is more than a way to send money and store value.
Bitcoin is a currency so it is going to offer lots of opportunities to earn some like most fiat money does already but the difference is bitcoin is completely online so our ability to make money over the Internet are multiplied.

And not just you can earn bitcoin online, what you need to do is if you want to have some bitcoins. You can just easily buy it on a trusted exchange website. That will make you accept that bitcoin is really worth for you have invested your own money and trusted into it. It is not just all about investments but also the convenience of services that it can give to us.
I agree with your because bitcoin was created not for the purpose of investment, it's just a means where we will be able to spend our bitcoins online without paying bigger transaction fee, and this smart people sees the potential of this coin in the near future that's why they are investing to benefits of the demands.

This is a good point mate.. we're not just investing in bitcoins but also transacting online and that's why some business owners are also trying to offer services in bitcoin community because they see a lot of potential and that's good for their business. Who knows in the future, world businesses will be able to adopt and use bitcoins also.
While bitcoin was created as a currency, all the currencies of the world are now traded in forex and used as  investment vehicles themselves so there is nothing wrong with using bitcoin like that.
2738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 26, 2016, 02:25:18 AM
Bitcoin is not some kind of magic pill that can solve all the problems of the world but it can help individuals to protect their financial freedom.

When Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin, the real intention was for Bitcoin to become this "magic pill". He hoped that Bitcoin will end the exploitation by the banking cartels. Still a long way to go, but if Bitcoin becomes popular, then it is going to be very bad for the banksters.
Even if bitcoin can help solve a lot of problems it cannot possibly solve all the problems and since bitcoin is such a new technology there is the possibility that new problems arise which are unexpected to everyone.

Bitcoin can only solve some monetary problems of people living in poor countries by providing them a chance to earn an extra income from internet if they can get to know it or if they have access to internet and computers, otherwise bitcoin can be of no use for them unless it becomes useful in physical world.
You're right Aamir and it seems like Omega weapon did not understand the situation cos in the real world money can not solve all problem and so is bitcoin. But, bitcoin will only give the poor countries something like a new link or means of earn money, collecting to the world etc.
But that is exactly what I said, check the very first of the post in this chain of comments and you will see that I said bitcoin cannot possibly solve all the problems.
2739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 23, 2016, 01:54:25 AM
Yes I have lost money in trading but it was far good experience rather than losing money in gambling. I think the main reason for my loss was to place orders by depending upon shot from troll box, it was really bad thing I ever did. Another thing is being impatient, I was very impatient and use to revert my trade orders even if there was any -1% downfall on the price chart. I have learned that patience is the key, risk taking is must.
For an highly unpredictable job, you are depending on others predictions. We must understand one thing no one will spend time for helping other when they can make use of those help for themselves to make big fortunes.

We must have our own technical analysis in order to make trading profitable. Or at least we may depend upon some highly reputed paid services for trading predictions.
I think before looking for any signals service you must try to exhaust ways to improve you own way of getting results that way you will learn a lot and you will be able to tell if the signals service you eventually hire is in fact giving you a quality service or they are giving you signals that everyone with some knowledge could have saw.

2740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: November 23, 2016, 01:49:43 AM
In Forex you can have leverages up to 1000x.
so you can make even the 1 minute graph a profitable one. So Forex moves much faster if you know how to. But I understand the dificulty of trading Forex when coming from cryptos. In cryptos you can simply ride the euforia and panic.
You forgot to add that you can lose your money as fast too, leveraging that much is a mistake I think unless you are really sure your analysis is spot on and you are going to make money no matter what.
