The hashrate on the site fluctuates. I cant remember the reason why but its basically an average. Since ive been with bitminter the shift hashrate has always matched the hashrate of whatever miners I have been using.

While a shift is happening you may see considerably more Ghps than you have, then other times less. But it is always correct when the shift completes Wink

Well finally managed to get a rack today. Had to go to the kitchen section of the supermarket  Cheesy 3 tier stackable wire rack. Heres the set up:-

Base level under he first rack is open.
First rack up has a 120mm fan on.
Second rack has two U3's on.
Third rack has the rm1000 (fan facing up) with the a gecko stick as the cherry on top keep cooling thanks to the rm1000 fan.

The u3's and psu are staggered so the 120mm fan blows onto the u3's and half the hot side of the psu, plus the u3's draw air down from the other side of the psu.

Sound ok or should I have the fan facing down on the psu?

I thought hot air rises to more chance of the heat being forced out the back of the psu if the fan is facing up  Huh

Mines running 2 S3 oc'd to 243m, 2x u3 and a rbox 110 running 200m for now.

Phil is bang on there's one spot that gets warm. I'm going to find a rack and mount the u3s and PSU on there with a couple of fans underneath to cool it all. Just got to find the time to get the rack and change the set up

No need to be sorry. I'm just voicing my thoughts  Wink At the end of the day it's down to ammi/minibit as they take care of the site.

I would've thought something of that power would have some sort of facility to see the stats you want. I don't understand why you'd need to put it on the Antrun site  Undecided

As you've probably guessed from my other posts and queries you've helped on, I'm miles behind everyone else with the mining things. I'm just doing it for something to play with and to say I was part of it once Smiley

Is there any way to change the window size of cgminer? so I can see more of the shares in one go? Im running it on win7 if that's any help.
2756  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: いい antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share いい on: April 24, 2016, 07:17:59 PM
Block at ckpool!!!

Did our little runners win? <<positive thinking>>

The stats now should refresh!

Fastest out of the gate is elokk (for now)  Grin

*in a commentators voice*

But GT-R1 (as its now going to be called) is making its way through the pack with its sights set firmly on elokk and the top spot! The plucky little runt has worked his way from 16th to 12th and now 9th. It was a shakey start but he's found his stride.

  Grin Cheesy
2757  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Brand new to bitcoin mining please help on: April 24, 2016, 04:35:40 PM
You're a bit late to the party really the U1/U2/U3 are massively outdated. You will never earn any money with them. Even the S3/4/5 are outdated too. You'd need an S7 or equilateral to make any money and that's if you have free electricity aswell. If you are doing this as a hobby and understand that you won't make any money then fair enough.

What version of cgminer do you have? When I was using the U2's as a stepping stone I just used the desktop client from www.bitminter.com which will run them easy and you can overclock them through it aswell. You will need a powered hub for them as they will draw more than a standard USB port can cope with. You wouldn't want to burn out the USB card on your laptop.
2758  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: いい antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share いい on: April 24, 2016, 02:49:06 PM
Well so far my R1 has been 42minutes on 200m and avg is 10.78ghs. Changed the cron job from 3 to 2 to see if that makes any diference. I started noticing my 1 day hashrate on the site start dropping but seems to have picked up now. Will see how she goes.

Ammi/minibit, I cant change my freq. Still getting the same root/password NO" error come up. Its the same if I try and change it with the worker extension or without.
2759  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: External heatsink on Psu on: April 24, 2016, 02:14:56 PM
Oh I do keep an eye on it. Don't want any fires lol. Its running 2xS3's at 243m so not like its massively taxed and my room is only abour 18-20c ambient so not hot in here either. Just wanted to try and prevent any issues while I can.
2760  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: External heatsink on Psu on: April 24, 2016, 01:57:27 PM
Nice one cheers Phil. Wouldn't be able to get the grill as I'm in the U.K but I'll have a looks at similar shops when I get a chance and see what I can find.

Would the heatsink work so you think or should I not bother?
