This thread is also a MONTH OLD since the OP. Pointless reviving it as he probably wont be back on anyway.

You're using it on 205v or more I assume?

They are the same efficiency level as the S9 as they contain the same chips. Just a different amount of them, hence the Hashrate and power difference to the S9.

As I've said a few times, I run luck reports daily or more often regarding all sorts of info on the pool ... That's part of my job to protect the miners Yes my apologies ive read before you keep reports So does it actually say which version of BMminer it uses somewhere on the info you get or do you work it out based on some sort of code you receive from the network? I could tell you, but then I'd have to send a hitman over to keep the secret ok ill stop asking

I'm seeing: Chip 1: 101/77 Chip 2: 80/103 Room temp is 78 deg. F.
Wow that is far hotter than my batch 1 which is overclocked to 9.3T at similar room temperatures. (61/88) (66/89) How did you overclock? If its a Batch 1 then you overclock it like any other antminer, change the freq in the advanced setting page of the GUI.

Emm, what? What kind of spam are you talking about? I asked a question, and got a good answer. mr.bitcoinerf11 is trying to get his post count up so he can join a signature campaign. Check out this thread for shorena's very accurate analysis:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1730576.0

Hi All,
After some advice... I have a Gridseed coming to me 2moro but have never set one up. I believe I need software to run it, so I am thinking cgminer, however, the software will be running on an apple mac but not sure if cgminer will run on a mac.
Has anyone setup any gridseeds to work on the pool, if so, what software are you using.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
This is the wrong section. You need the "Mining Software" section. There you will find threads on cgminer, Minera, BFGMiner. The answers you seek lies within those threads

Can someone give a lamens terms on how the activity number is calculated please? I get most of the explanation here:- time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is updated ever hour.
I just don't understand the "posts" bit in the brackets and if the activity is updated every hour how come ive had 378 as my activity for the past 3 days? Or does it only change according to the table of two week increments already posted? Thanks. There are 3 variables in the above formula. activity, time and post. 1 "time" is given to each account that posts at least once in one of the 14 day long periods for this variable. Posts is the number of posts you have made, regardless of the 14 day period. Your activity is the smaller number of 14 * time and your posts. For the majority of users here the number posts is larger than time*14, thus their activity is limited by time. As your activity is updated hourly, your time is only increased every 14 days (for exact days and times, see the table you mentioned). Since time is what changes your activity, it will only change every 14 days as every recalculation in between results in the same number. That is exactly the explanation I was after. I couldn't for the life of me figure out the "time*14,posts" part but now I understand, its either posts or number of 14 weeks periods ive made a post. Makes sense why my activity hasn't changed in days. Thanks for explaining that, its helped a great deal

GT addict seems trusted if you want we ask him if he can act as escrow
Thanks for the compliment. But I will not be acting as escrow for a paypal transaction. Not unless the person sending the paypal waits 180 days for the btc as that's the cut off period for a chargeback.

Can you accept $ 7.2 for your paypal? Good luck with this trade. As with all newbies asking for btc for their paypal, this probably wont end well. The newbie account is asking to trade for his btc and the one with the paypal is the member account. Why would it end bad do you say? The one sending the non reversible funds is the newbie. Either case an exchange should be done with someone with previous trade history dealing in this way. Personally I don't consider someone with 112 activity and 0 trust to be a proper member just yet. But its entirely upto whoever wants to take the risk. Just seems like such a small amount (which is typical of some scammers, but im not saying they are one). Just giving a word of caution

Jeez these scammers are so dumb its unreal. Well that's another scamming thread for this section of the forum. Cant tag him with neg trust though as theres no proof of anything.....yet.

Everyone here was a newbie once i sighnup to exchange cause this forums all about btc. Im serous if anyone interested pm cause i really need this.
With all due respect, every scammer has a story and everyone here has heard them a thousand times. The best way to earn so trust is to SELL btc to trusted members and adhere to any rules they put in place. I simply ask someone to send the btc first and I send my paypal after 1 confirmation. Other than that you are going to be contacted by other newbies and most likely scammers who will take your paypal close their account and never send you the btc. Good luck. Hope it works out for you.
