2761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the recent bitcoin crash? on: July 01, 2016, 08:18:36 PM
Bitcoin crash, we know what is the reason?

Can you really explain us where you so this crash? Yes, there was a little drop in price of bitcoin, but now we are back in yhe game. Btc is rising again and people are happy, and that is ok. But I don't why people start to cry when they see price is falling? If you didn't learn until now, probably you will never understand price fluctuations.

Also people like to trade here, but everyone like just price to go up!? Like when someone wish to win all the time in casino. When will people relax a bit, and let things go slowly and steady.

Come on, be honest! What you call a little drop is a drop from $791 to $521, a HUGE drop of $170 or more. A lot of people LOST a huge amount of money during the CRASH. It put a damper on the market, a cork screw in may people's heart. We've recovered from the shock and now we're pushing against $700 but it's not certain we will breakthrough.

Please stop pretending bitcoin goes up ALWAYS. If you've been here long enough, you will see a majority of the forum users form a giant circle jerk, blind to the obvious nature of bitcoin, only seeing and expecting $10000000000000000000 bitcoin. A HUGE disappointment is headed your way.

It was not a crash but a correction, and a chance for whales to get in at lower prices once again. Their supporters just helped them dump their coins on these buyers, and they bought in once again at lower prices due to this panic selling, which is why the market got stabilized once again near 660.
2762  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: July 01, 2016, 08:16:19 PM
To those who are thinking that the price is too much high and bitcoin is not a safe investment currently, this is my last reminder that please get into the train before it's too late. You will cry in the end.
2763  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: July 01, 2016, 08:15:08 PM
I'm hoping for $500 or below.

Why would you ever hope for btc to go down? there is no point lol just invest smaller and cash out bigger profit when btc hits the moon man you dont want the price low because then the people will be pansies.

I agree there is no reason that you'd want it to go down, you should just buy now and hold for after the halving process because most likely you will make at least double your money in the time period of around 2-3 months.
I agree Btc can/will increase but I dont think price would double in near future. But maybe it just blooms all the way up. who knows, right?

It has the potential to double in just minutes when whales get in and start pumping it towards a new ATH, then double is nothing.
We will witness what we haven't witnessed yet, once again.
2764  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: July 01, 2016, 07:58:01 PM
If the price declines, there is only one solution: Buy more coins, I guess.
More bitcoins will not hurt IMO, and any coin squeezed from the market is less available for traders and bears.
When  grandmothers are using btc it is time to sell, and probably you do not even need to sell at that moment since the infrastructure has developed enough.

Well you have to wait for the 'right' time to buy, buying to high will get you in a mess. I am watching the market closely now, I do see the price touching on 550 which will trigger my buy orders on several exchanges.

The price could touch $550 again. I think I will hold my fiat and wait for the price to be around $550 before I buy.
Well I think it's a wise decision man. Wait after halving you'll see bitcoin's price below that. Im sure a massive dump will happen after halving.
There is no time now to buy the price is gradually increasing and i thin its better to buy bitcoins right now days to go that the block halving wil be done and we will see higher price from the present to future price.. so better to buy and hold so that you can make more profit..

Absolutely. Halving is just too much nearer to us, and if we still ask each other that whether to buy or not, we are just wasting our time.
It is an incredible opportunity for us to invest and wait to get the best profits out of our investments.
2765  Economy / Speculation / Re: ~415 - Break out up, or down? on: July 01, 2016, 07:55:52 PM
But you have to know that the value of Bitcoin is going to rise slowly and that is really nice but of course it will be really hard to predict what is going to happen.
The value of Bitcoin is rising and that is perfect for people with already Bitcoin than you have to wait for the right moment to sell it.

For me, in the next 5 year, there will not be any right moment to sell as I am a believer of bitcoin and holld for the long term.

I will hold most of my coins for the long term. In the mean time, I will use some to buy goods to help the adoption.

The adoption can increase the number of users. When more people use the bitcoin, the price will rise further.

The price of the bitcoin is determined the usage and the number of users. The more users, the higher the price.

Not just users, but users who are actually investing their money to buy bitcoins. As without demand, just adoption alone won't let the price increase.
2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: July 01, 2016, 04:16:04 PM
Just don't. Forget about teaching people, they will all be forced to learn eventually, just make sure to be in before everyone else around you and you are on the right track already since you are posting here. You can't save everyone so save yourself.

Didn't get you, but are you trying to say that we should not force ourselves to teach people?
If we won't teach people, how will the learn about what is bitcoin and how it is used? Newbies commit mistakes by either sending wrong amounts in transactions or being fooled by scammers, we need to guide them in order to save them, we are already saved as we know more than them.
2767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 01, 2016, 04:13:05 PM
I think one of the major drawbacks is for the newbies, and even for the experienced, it's very easy to make a mistake and end up paying a lot of money, or not enough money, but mistakingly adding or subtracting a zero or moving a comma, and BTC has no way to get refunds so..

It is manly because of the lack of knowledge newbies should have before starting to do transactions in bitcoins, it is better to learn before actually starting to do it. Mistakes in bitcoin transactions could cost you a lot if you accidentally send non-purposed amount to anyone.
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 01, 2016, 03:57:30 PM
block your internet  Grin Grin

Nothing is easy to drop, especially gambling. It is too hard for anyone to leave gambling if they are addicted towards it.
Blocking your internet will leave you left out of the world, as in today's world, internet is the most important thing as all works are being done online nowadays.
2769  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: July 01, 2016, 03:06:26 PM
In the last months the BTC price is increasing, how much u guys think the price gonna be in one year?

It is impossible to predict the price of the Bitcoin in the future nobody can do it and all we can do is speculate about it. I think that the Bitcoin price is going to be somewhere in the thousands, it has to happen because I have been waiting a long time for it to happen.

I don't think so that the price reaches 4 digit by the end of this year, i guess price will be in between 850$ to 950$...

That's a good prediction based upon the recent days steep increase. In my view bitcoin touch nearby values of $800 even without the effect of halving. On this basis bitcoin has highest possibility to reach 4digit value by this year or by the days after halving.

$800 is very the closest prediction of bitcoins price today. And it is better if the price of bitcoin is going to be higher than that.
Let's say that the price is going to be $1,000 before the end of the year.

It is going to go above 1000 this month only, as we are very near to halving and the price is sure to jump hard before it prepares for a big red hammer. Don't think 850 is the max price it can reach, it is actually the base that should be set after the pump.
2770  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2016, 03:04:32 PM
just told the woman that bitcoin could be money, so that women are motivated and interested in using bitcoin.

Women are the most non-understandable creatures because it is not easy to understand them.
You need to deal easy with them to convince them to start using bitcoins. You can just use the word "shopping" and then it all ends, they will at least look for what it is.
2771  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 01, 2016, 02:45:58 PM
now is the time halving year. and in the next year will be even greater bitcoin. more and more users. I hope in 2017 bitcoin will be better than 2016.

Bitcoin will be better, but not in terms of its price. It will remain stable for the next few years again until we see mass adoption, and with that said, I mean that we need a big piece of the world to follow it.
2772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was ‘Good as Gold’ in the Brexit on: June 27, 2016, 01:31:32 PM
Well I think it will effect bitcoin greatly this coming day. I think it will boost the price rise of bitcoin this coming days. I hope that it reach more than 1k$ soon.

So far I haven't seen any really influence from brexit. Sure thursday the price seem to get some traction but it was temporary and even more the price is back down again.

That had nothing to do with Brexit, as it was a different event which was meant for sharp forex and stocks moves, Bitcoin would never get influenced by any currency news and that's the power of bitcoins.
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: June 27, 2016, 01:27:16 PM
Are there countries that do not accept Bitcoin? I mean no idea regarding it. What do you think will happen to Bitcoin 5years from now? I'm not asking you to be a psychic to see the future. I'm asking about your idea about Bitcoin's future. TIA!
Governments can block Bitcoins, especially those who do not like things like this.
But even if they block the network to their citizens, they can use VPN to access.
So, I do not think to block Bitcoin can fix the problem.
For now, I know no country that has publicly blocked Bitcoin, north korea blocks all Internet.
But if the Bitcoin start to be used for illegal activities, it can be blocked in many countries.

It is already getting used by terrorists for money laundering purposes, who says it isn't?
You can trace transactions only, but what happens ahead of that, does anyone know?
2774  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 27, 2016, 01:25:57 PM
I like the volatility in the markets that I see everyday, which excites me to gamble my coins more.
I try to make a good amount each day, put them in my wallet and it feels like I am in heaven.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 27, 2016, 01:24:36 PM
People may not trust the security around bitcoin.

That's really an issue and reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin. Because there are some people that are tackling about the security of
bitcoin wallet addresses.
Thinking about that an hacker can easily penetrate to their accounts and get the balance they have.

Correct. The only thing that it lacks of, is security itself. People nowadays try to get everything through shortcuts, they don't want to work for this.
This is why hack attempts has risen to an extremely dangerous level.
2776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: June 27, 2016, 01:23:21 PM
I use it to gamble a lot. Bitcoin has even saved me from going dead, as the coins I saved, helped me pay for my surgery that was done when I had my leg broken during a tennis match. I can't say it in words that how much is bitcoin important to me, I am speechless.
2777  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2016, 01:10:22 PM
I would just go to a girl, say "Hey, Friends?" Then if she says yes, then instead of a rose, I will gift her a bitcoin, then she will ask that what is it.
After that, I will start mentioning her about the most widely used virtual currency online.
2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: June 27, 2016, 01:08:43 PM
It is not anonymous, because if it would be, then we don't need to give our KYC documents in order to get approved on exchanges to trade.
This is not anonymity, and it is actually needed at some places, because if transparency is not there, then people may abuse the system.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that bitcoin was NOT affected by the Brexit. on: June 27, 2016, 01:03:34 PM
That event was related to forex, and not bitcoin markets. Bitcoin is completely different, so why are you comparing such an event which has nothing to do with it?

Your strategy is great and profitable, unless luck factor plays its role and you somehow lose.
Else, winning makes us feel just awesome.
