what i really dont like is that the volume bar on clark moody can go red, even if there is a 4000 btc buy, only when the last sell in the bar-time-period goes down
btccharts.com to have a buy/sell differenciation
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100k+ New Startup attempts in bitcoin ? (coursera.org) on: June 18, 2013, 11:53:49 AM

It's time to convert your fiat guys.
2765  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [PREORDER] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 14, 2013, 03:28:27 PM
Congrats Trezor !

You did a impressive work on the prototyping, designing, and aswell on the communication (website, vidcast). You managed this project very well. So I directly ordered the metallic version to support your great work and the time you spend on that.
I hope you have other projects in your mind. I'm sure it's only the beginning of a gamechanger (this or future projects) in Bitcoin.

To the ones who are bitching on the price, seriously, this is rude.

For two things:
- The work they do
- We are talking about 1 BTC right?

Is that all they deserve?
2766  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 13, 2013, 11:46:28 AM
2 lines in assets sheet could also explain clearly:

Code:
Private loan: -6100
Funds raised by IPO tier 1: +35,000

FYP
2767  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 12, 2013, 07:43:26 PM
Erik,

if you still have a loan of 6K BTC to Sdice, I really really don't get the purpose of the IPO where SDice raised approx 35K btc.

The dividends are not your asset, it belongs to all stakeholders now.
2768  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: June 12, 2013, 04:26:16 PM
but then, do you want to attract the attention of the EU?
What do you mean?
2769  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the next big dump be? on: June 12, 2013, 02:00:20 PM
As soon as there is enough support in the 110's to dump around 4k coins.

For days now, a lot of your posts are related to "that 4k dump bla bla"... that's ok now I think we got it.
2770  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 3 * 1 BTC Physical Casascius Coin 2011 (3btc) on: June 12, 2013, 10:54:55 AM
@#10 I can't accept this offer.
@#11 that's your thought, interesting.
2771  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 3 * 1 BTC Physical Casascius Coin 2011 (3btc) on: June 11, 2013, 09:11:14 PM
this look really cool, are they they only coins you are selling?

Nop, are you interested to more than 3 of them?

LOL thanks for the reminder, fiat holder isn't it ?
2776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 11, 2013, 06:32:42 PM
I've seen all the $500, $1000 and even $300k coin statements.  I truly hope that happens for people but if that's the case, who are these people paying $500-$300k per coin?  Because I know who it's not going to be.   Roll Eyes

As far as I understood this, your problem is the psychological barrier of "one unit for over 100 dollar", right? But does it really matter? I don't care if I get 1 BTC for 100 $ or only 1 for 1000 $, all that matters for me is the relative value and it's change: 20 % value gain is 20 % value gain, even if I pay 300k $ for "one unit", isn't it?

But I feel with you. I support that mBTC "movement".

Sweet Jesus it brings a tear to my eye to see weak bears leave.

That's like saying, “I used to invest $5,000 in BTC when it got me 65 coins, but now it only buys me 40 coins, that sucks!”. If you’re investing in BTC, that’s a good thing. It means they’re worth more. Lets say you take $10,000 to invest on NASDAQ. Hmm, Google, $880? Fuck that. Groupon, $6? Much better.  But wait, you could buy penny stocks and own 50,000 shares! Holy shit ballz!

BTC has been over $100 most of the last 2 months. People didn’t have a problem when we had plenty of volatility. People don’t like it now, because woops, the volatility didn’t bail you out. So you’re faced with buying back at a higher price point and having fewer coins. Then you’d have to deal with the realization you shouldn’t have sold. Instead of facing that fact, you’d rather go trade another Cryptocoin. I could use $5000 to buy 44 BTC, or I could buy 1,500 Litecoins! FUCK YAH IMMA MAKE IT RAIN LITECOINS!

If that 44 vs 1,500 makes it look like a better deal, heading to litecoins is probably a good idea. However I’d suggest instead of $5,000, drop your investment pool down to like $5. Emotionally that’s a much easier number to deal with when trading.

This is how I imagine weak bears moving to other markets to trade because triple digit BTC rocks their world.

Haha. This. Definitely.

It don't get it also when people are emotionally influenced by the price of a whole 10^8 satoshi bulk. So weak mind indeed Smiley
2777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chrome Browser extension: MtGox trading bot on: May 11, 2013, 04:52:19 PM
by the way, has anyone been able to profit with the bot in the last couple of days? Not me.

Strong fluctuations like this morning (from 116 to 118.5 at 11:00 UTC) make the bot insta-buy  @118, than it sold btc after 5 hours of slow price decline (16:00 UTC) @116.4.

My conf is 10 min; 1 tick; 10/21 emas, thr 0.23buy -0.13sell

Anyone?
I lost a bit aswell so I disabled the bot during this low volume period.

2779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 10, 2013, 02:51:09 PM
If BTC wants to reach out to the average middle class out there it needs to value itself at $30-50

Yeah, it's a real shame that bitcoins can not be divided.

I lol'd IRL
2780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 10, 2013, 11:00:13 AM
Now the important question is whether America will back up this break out with some real volume when they wake up in 1-2hrs from now. Either we rally on, or people start taking their small profits and we go back down to 110-115.

I will say it again: I feel bullish. Too many good things are happening.

And no, I'm not all-in yet, so a bearapocalypse is welcome any time.

+1, time will tell, but the momentum is really interesting and exiting to follow.
