OP list has been updated.
Hey DW, I think that you need to update the list (again). At least for my service... No problem, please help understand all that's change. Does this look right: Well, I think it's fine thank you. Also collateral is not required but only for trusted and reputable members like yourself (among others ofc). Okay, I updated the OP with your new rates, and I changed your collateral column policy indicator to "Optional" which more closely describes your policies I think.

I also recommend the Ledger for a new user, either Nano model would be good. I think the Ledger is a bit safer for newbies to use even with the basic set-up. It doesn't require any additional steps or knowledge to secure it from physical attacks, like some of the other wallets you listed. If you're friend is only storing a few coins on her wallet, the Nano S is all she needs. The Nano X is definitely a cool upgrade, but I don't find any of the added features to be necessities.
I've owned and used the Ledger Nano S, Nano X, Trezor One, Trezer T, as well as the KeepKey. I personally prefer the open-source nature of the Trezor wallets, and consider the Trezor T my favorite. They do require some knowledge and additional setup to mitigate physical attacks, which isn't difficult, but it's worth acknowledging if you are recommending it to a newbie.

I have some token worth 30000$ so i need 0.07 bitcoin for 3 week repay What coin do you hold mate? Can you upload screenshot? HTX TRX XDAC USDT Two of those tokens are completely worthless, there's no trade volume for either HTX or XDAC. TRX and USDT would be acceptable as collateral, if you can send 120% of the requested amount to the lender or escrow. If you have $800 worth of USDT and TRX, and you can sign a message from the address containing the tokens, I'll accept your loan request. If you prefer to use a third party for escrow, the fees are your responsibility. Don't bother contacting me and wasting my time if you can't sign a message or you don't have $800 worth of those two tokens. If you want my opinion: Don't take out a loan; trade all those shitcoins for bitcoin and be done with it.

P.s. If you bought the wallet.dat, you got scammed.
I must admit, I usually suspect this is the case whenever I see one of these threads. Most of these threads are full of weird excuses as to why the password or the wallet file were lost. The stories often don't make sense, and come off as lies. I'm not saying this is the case in this particular scenario, but it fits the trend. Anecdotally, there seems to be a lot of evidence to support this theory. How many early adopters lost their wallet files, or their passwords, and how many are technically incapable of resolving those issues themselves? And why haven't they tried to access those files sooner? I don't know, maybe I'm being overly skeptical, but something doesn't add up considering the quantity of these types of threads.

There are some other methods you can use other than a virtual machine. If you are running Windows 10 you can use WSL instead of a VM. You can then pick your favorite Linux distro. If you're goal is to run the most recent version of the alpha/beta releases of Electrum, there is a simpler way. Now that you have a VM you can just download the latest source and run it in the Linux VM. You can also install Python on your Windows machine and run Electrum from source by entering the commands in either Powershell or the Python console. I recently taught myself how to compile the binaries to install Electrum, but now I mostly run the new versions right from source. Setting up your Windows system with the ability to run from source will save a lot of time. Once it's done all you have to do is download the latest source code, no more compiling binaries. Check out these threads for some more help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221146.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222986.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224252.0

You can say what you want when our coin in one exchange Then you have to apologize
I know I can say what I want, that's why I often say what I want. Like this, for example: Having a live wallet doesn't make a coin real, trust makes a coin real. There are still legitimate questions about your request that you continue to ignore. You've given us nothing but reasons to distrust you, so that makes your coin FAKE!

I said fake coin. Prove me wrong?

Don't fall for this, the OP isn't going to give anyone a loan. This is nothing more than an attempt to obtain identification documents for identity theft.
@bicryptor2, If you want people to take you seriously sign a message using a wallet that contains 5BTC.

The 1,000,000 BTCSH it’s not as collateral it’s just to be sure that we give the money back... That's what collateral is for, to make sure you give the money back. Do you mean to say that you will only show the lender that you have 1 million bitcoin scheisse, but not send them to the lender (or an escrow) to hold? How is that supposed to make anyone "be sure" of anything? Somehow the fact that you have a large number of worthless shitcoins is supposed make me feel confident enough to send you $1800? A large number of worthless coins is still worth nothing, and it certainly doesn't mean you'll return the money. we can offer our personal ID if you are ready to help then it’s ok when not then thx
You created a fake coin, but I should trust that your ID is real. I think I'll pass.

I would like to request a 0.2BTC loan I will pay in full, July 8, 2020 with funds that are tied up in transfer. We can send 1,000,000 BTCSH as You be sure that the money will be back in the time . Bitcoin schwarz Team So, you developed your own altcoin, bitcoin scheisse, and you want to use 1 million bitcoin scheisse as collateral for an $1800 loan? Apparently the website was created (with wordpress templates) this past November. So obviously the project hasn't been around long. What makes you think that 1 million bitcoin scheisse is worth even one satoshi?

This is an interesting turn of events. I haven't had a chance to update the firmware on my Trezors, so I haven't had this issue. Apparently pull request #6198 is closed and has been merged. Does that mean that the current Electrum source code is able to function with the Trezor? Like I said, I haven't updated my firmware, or I would try it.

I thought the whole point of a air gapped system was to make my funds much safer.
That is still true. You can leave your seed on the air-gapped PC and still use the master public key on your watch only wallet. Any addresses created by the watch only wallet are automatically backed up by your seed phrase.
