I think that taxes for traders are hard to stress because they do not have a name on the state tax board.
Slightly different from the Exchange who set up the company in a country where the Exchange is registered to be imposed on its income tax.
its simple like this: Trader = tax free Exchange = taxable
Trader will be tax free only if the country of residence does not require the person to pay the tax or if he manages to escape from tax authority by legal of illegal means Traders are "legal persons" and are usually liable on income tax in country of residence.

Also, it would be far better to have just a few exchanges combined with services like changelly so people don't need to buy bitcoin before buying LIF. That's still one of the biggest reasons why some projects don't get adopted
Actually you don't need buy bitcoin to get LIF but ethereum.

I made a small comparison table between Slimcoin Web2Web and other "decentralized web" services. There may be errors, so please review. Most "competing" services are based on similar technologies - IPFS being the base of several projects, as it offers some key advantages like versioning, but as it is still in alpha state and not supported by mainstream browsers, it has usability limitations. Slimweb can support it later, too. Some of the most hyped services are pretty centralized. Above all, Substratum seems to use a single, "official" DNS gateway. Shift at least gives the option to use the "official" gateway (Jenga) or not, but publishers not using it have disadvantages. Tron, until now, seems to be a simple IPFS clone and far away from complete implementation (they're starting their blockchain at the end of June, but for now it seems a standard cryprocurrency still without "decentralized web" features). MaidSafe seems to be, by far, the most ambitious project - but it's also complex and still not very easy to use as it's an alpha. So I think "Slimweb" can fill an interesting niche ... more so if we implement social networking using Solid standards. Hello. Thanks for the list. I see you maybe missed this one which is also an old project but also not really known: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1358722.0;topicseen

The ICO accounts are not valid anymore as those were used for the ICO only. You need to create a new account on goalbonanza.com.
Thanks for the fast reply.

Hello.
I'm looking to diversify my portfolio is there anyone willing to exchange some ARK with me? I'm asking here because i do not like exchanges and all bullshit KYC that comes with using them.
Thanks.
Are you crazy ? You can easily get scam around here, just go and create an account on Binance you don't need to do any KYC to buy or sell Ark tokens. I know but would be requesting the counterpart to send first or to agree to use a reliable escrow from the forum or ark community. Thanks for the tip i will check into Binance.

I don't think Cryptopia uses KYC though. However it's been a long time since I had created an account on them, I might be mistaken. Bittrex requires your ID, that I remember since I helped a friend create an account a few days ago. Cryptopia has a KYC for withdrawals greater than 5000 NZD. Also for some coins they have a big withdraw fee and their wallets are sometimes stuck so you have to wait for days until deposit or withdraw gets cleared.

Winding Tree is based off the Ethereum blockchain, currently there are some scaling issues for high volumes of transactions however they are addressing this with the sharding solution. It's in hand...
Maybe if they looked further for other existing blockchain technologies on which to develop and haven't choose to develop on this one then they maybe would't have this problem in 1st place.

Hello.
I have a question regarding the usernames (accounts) on the web page. Are the accounts registered and used in ICO still valid?
I ask this because I can not log in by using my account name. It says [qoute] Please use only letter and numbers for you username [/quote]
My username had a "-" sign in it.

I think NEM had many progressive intiatives, but it nevertheless lacks security, hence hacks and other problems
I think you misunderstood something.

Hello! Do you plan to use KYC procedure at your ICO or it will be fully anonymised?
KYC is currently managed through Coinbase. We are almost done implementing it for XEM and non-coinbase payments. We are working hard to be an established, legal, United States company and must comply with laws dictated by FinCEN as we are serving as a Money Services Business (MSB). Information that will be asked for if you don't use Coinbase: - Full Name
- Address
- Utility bill with name and address or ID with name and address
- Picture of your photo ID or passport
- Cannot be a resident of the People's Republic of China
Man, thats really evil! Why would you ask KYC data from users that do no use FIAT?!!! Is XEM money under US federal law?!

thumbs up for tradetheodds developers! It would be awesome if you finish by the time the FIFA 2018 World Cup will start. It looks very professional at a first glance. Byteball never annoys us
Thanks! Up and running in time for the FIFA world cup is the goal but it will be close. We tweeted the announcement this morning. Tony retweeted from the official Byteball account, which we are grateful for. We'll start putting out blog posts this weekend. https://twitter.com/Trade_The_Odds/status/994201564276457473Hello. Can you give more info about how it works? I 'm referring to this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.msg36830509#msg36830509Can you explain more about the oracle(s). How does it work? Who owns the oracle? From where does it take the results? Will the oracle be posting results on real time during the game so that live betting will be possible or not? When a result is confirmed as final (valid)? Are you aware that sometimes the games (soccer.., tennis.. etc.) get voided later due to irregularities? How will this situations get handled?! Thanks.

Yes, KYC information has a disadvantage where our information is spreaded around the internet. But, I think it is a good idea as it generally protects the customer, in a case if someone does a fraud transaction. They can trace it back to the person and save the victims.
And how about the case when your personal info that you willingly gave to a "known" 3rd parties for accessing ICO or any other service gets used to do the fraud transaction or any other financial or legal transaction without your knowledge. Who will be traced at the end?! Don't tell you never thought of that possibility or never heard of identity theft?!
