281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on side bet worth it? on: February 27, 2024, 11:18:18 PM
I’m pertaining to the side bet offered on the table games such as baccarat and blackjack that gives you a chance to win a certain multiplier by just meeting the certain requirements. I often avoid this kind of bet because it’s very rare to win on this and I’m only burning money that was supposed to be added to my profit whenever my main bet won while my sides always loss.

But recently I become lucky on side bet since I win x100 multiple time and x50 with 1$ profit. I realize that sometimes this side bet is the one that can give us the bigger profit once we get lucky compared when betting in fix amount while the result is just breakeven.

Most side bets only have a small chance of winning and cannot be applied to traditional Blackjack strategy, which means they give the dealer and the house a much greater advantage than in the standard game.

So, in my opinion they should only be seen as a way to increase fun, because when you consider the risks you will see that they are not a viable method of increasing your earnings over a long period of time. Any side bets you may want to place should be carefully considered and you should assess your chances of winning to the best of your ability.

But as I just said, it is undeniable that side bets are much more exciting and faster, and they are great for those who play Blackjack and don't like limiting themselves to one bet at a time and having to wait for the end of the round to find out if they have won. .
Furthermore....if successful, side bets substantially increase your winnings from much smaller bets than you would receive in the standard game, but be careful not to deceive yourself and end up losing more than you should.

People are starting to speculate about De Bruyne future because until now the negotiation about contract extension between him and Manchester City is still not reach an agreement so some of Saudi Arabia teams want to utilized this situations with attempts to bought him this summer and at least 4 teams who showing their interest to De Bruyne such as Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Ittihad and Al Hilal but reported De Bruyne has open the opportunity to stayed at Manchester City and in the near future he hope will gets new contract even so with Guardiola because Guardiola know De Bruyne is important player and he doesn't want De Bruyne to leave but the situations might be change that if negotiations for a new contract are deadlocked then not impossible for Manchester City to sell him this summer

From what I've read, Manchester City is willing to sell Kevin De Bruyne who may be living his last months as a player in this team.

Kevin De Bruyne, in fact, has been heavily harassed in recent weeks and not even Pep Guardiola knows if he can count on the player, but he still hopes that everything will be resolved as soon as possible.

As you said, one of the main interested parties in the athlete is Al Nassr, who, as we all know.... want to transform their team into a selection with the best in the world.

Values.... aware of the Arab club's interest in their athlete, the Manchester City board decided to set a price for their player of no less than €100 million!
Do you think this value is "acceptable"? What is the possibility of Al Nassr paying this without trying to negotiate a discount?

1. Estar vivo para presenciar isso;
2. Poder pagar em Bitcoin para ver, e;

285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 25, 2024, 09:54:24 PM
I haven't replied to him and I am not answering his call as I feel I would be doing injustice if I say yes. I am confused and do not know what to do, what do you guys suggest?

Asking money from loan sharks is dangerous! If you really are his friend, lend your money so he can pay the loan shark and sleep easy saying he can pay you back within a year!

I'm kidding, don't do that.

In fact, this is not an easy situation to deal with and trying to use gambling to solve this problem is a big mistake.
The best way is to look for a reasonable "agreement" to pay the debt and get this money in a dignified way, if possible even selling assets such as cars.
But it's not enough to just get rid of debt, you need to be more responsible in the game to avoid getting into debt again.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: February 25, 2024, 09:46:27 PM
I just noticed here in our city, that two brothers own different gambling platforms people have different impressions of each one of them, the first one owns a lottery outlet and he is getting respect from people from all walks of life, people look upon him as a giver of luck because many people hit consolations from his Lotto outlet

The other one is the owner of Cockpit Arena and many people despise him because many of their husbands and fathers lose a lot of money and go home empty-handed

I wonder why these two brothers receive different impressions when both are running a gambling platform, honestly, I prefer my friends and relatives to bet on the lotto but I advise them to be careful when playing in a cockpit, because in a cockpit arena, you can wipe out all your money and you end up empty-handed because the games are continuous you have no control and you are tempted to continue playing or lose everything whereas in Lotto you can allocate your bets.

Do you have the same situation like this in your country where gambling operators are not getting the same treatment?

No, because in my country gambling is prohibited, so all we have are official lotteries and some small unregulated bets that are generally not widely known to the public.
But, the perception of these two people is highly linked to the amount of money that people put into each game.. take a look: In the lottery it is not common for people to put in a lot of money, generally they bet lower amounts but with a regularity/frequency and this hardly causes them to lose all their money.
On the other hand, the second brother promotes a bet that deals with great emotions in a practically "online" way, that is... depending on how the duels occur, a small bet can turn into an "all-in" when the adrenaline rushes. is high and this will certainly result in disappointment for many people at the end of the day.

But I ask you: Which of the brothers makes more money? I don't think he's the owner of the lottery, right!? Cheesy
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: February 25, 2024, 09:39:26 PM
To be on a safer side, don't expect much from the system, rather expects less so you'll not be surprised when your budgets doesn't go as plan. It's no new thing to experience losses, however we become stronger to deal with problems when we're independent. Regrets happen on daily basis in the space. We're often lucky and when it hits harder, we lay down and cry out, that's for those of us that don't have the balance control of our emotions, but some of us stand strong enough to take in anything in the system. Gamblers are always ready to embraced any results generated on their end.

I always say that in games of chance we have to have the following perspective: Worry about not losing more money than we can, if we don't win anything then it's okay, and the fact that you get rich with a big asset is a gift, or be it... we must dream of this possibility but it can never be our goal.

With this in mind, we would never need to worry about gambling, about spending money on something that could ruin our lives, and who knows, when we least expect it, we could be surprised by something really good.

However, if we always play risking losing more money than we should and with the aim of achieving something that is "unlikely", then we will always play in a depressed way and the chance of dying of heartbreak is great.
288  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: E-mails inéditos de Satoshi Nakamoto on: February 24, 2024, 12:06:38 AM

1. Uma oportunidade de ver esse can@lha enfrentando um Juiz que não lida para o tanto de dinheiro e "poder" que Craig tem (já tá ocorrendo);

290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 23, 2024, 11:53:22 PM
Mega threads kept open for long time, in this gambling discussion and the main gambling section I do see a thread that from the first to ten pages all the discussion answers has been given but that thread continues moving whereas all the questions been asked in the thread majority has answered it, why mega thread in gambling section, when you calm down and read some of the trading style or method you can see that some points made us is not longer in line with the aim of the thread.

Moderators rarely close threads unless someone asks for it, so it's the OP's responsibility to manage it.

However, there is another problem: The number of repeated topics!
Even if a topic is closed, as soon as it disappears from the first page (TOP 20) someone opens a new topic with the same subject. In other words... perhaps it would have been better to have left the first topic open?

Some topics like Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions New
they remain open forever, and this is correct because it is a topic where the discussion never ends.

On the other hand, for example, I tend to create topics about the main Brazilian championship every year... as one championship ends I close it and open the next one.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 23, 2024, 11:47:17 PM
Have you ever tried something like this situation before?
So what is your thoughts on this, 50/50 good for you or nah?
Will you insist to have an ego battle if you are on the same situation?
If your answer is yes then Why?
And if no then why not?
What are the things you would do to resolve the issue?
How do you think you can handle this kind of situation?

Certainly the best thing to do is to split the money, but I will give you both answers:

It's better to divide: When half of 1.9 million is more than enough for you to pay all your debts, make a good investment that provides you with passive income and even buy something you've always needed like a house or car. It's not worth creating more problems in your life because of a fight like that.

It is better to fight to get all the money: When you are really in debt and half of that amount is not enough. This can happen to those who, for example, have a company that went through a difficult sales year and accumulated a lot of debt with suppliers, employees and banking institutions.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: February 23, 2024, 11:41:20 PM
Perhaps you have seen other videos as well and maybe share it here.

Here in Brazil there is a series in documentary format called "Compulsion". It addresses different cases of compulsion with food, sex, alcohol, cocaine, crack, sports, electronic games and shopping. In each episode, compulsive people tell their story since their first contact with addiction.

In the fifth episode, there is the story of a compulsive Bingo player for 20 years and also a man who played for 12 years and lost a lot of money too, in addition to making his personal life a nightmare. Both have a happy ending, and share how they managed to overcome addiction.

294  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: MicroStrategy não faz autocustódia? on: February 22, 2024, 11:23:28 PM

295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 22, 2024, 11:19:52 PM
Arsenal would go into the transfer market for a striker this summer, there are rumors that they might try to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford. Thomas Frank has already said it would be nearly impossible to keep Toney at the team after the end of the seadom, though Arsenal might have to pay a huge amount of money if they are to get Toney.

I think it was still January when I read that Arsenal were looking to invest heavily in that transfer window, at the time they were targeting Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, Ivan Toney from Brentford, and Evan Ferguson from Brighton... none of these contracts were completed.

Now, two months later they are again in a desperate search for a good striker... certainly prices have gone up and options have dwindled.

Just so you're aware, Chelsea is also interested in Ivan Toney, so if Arsenal still want him in their team, they'll have to fight for it.

Ferrari got a good pace today, both in fast lap and race simualtion.

All the cars looks great with all the compouds, it should be a closer races this years behind RBR.

So... since Ferrari presented its new SF-24, they are guaranteeing that they will maintain their power in the classifications, but that alone is not enough... it is also necessary to win races.

I say this because since the adoption of the new aerodynamic regulations in 2022, Ferrari has always shone in the Saturday classifications, but the problem is that the various pole positions have not been converted into consistent victories. I even researched here to confirm what I was already following in the races and in fact the numbers say that in 2022 they won twelve pole positions and only four victories, in 2023 the SF-23 won seven pole positions but only won one race with Carlos Sainz in Singapore.

Anyway, expectations regarding Ferrari's performance are high, I also hope that this time it actually surprises us positively, so now we can only wait for the SF-24 to take to the track and show its true performance during the official races.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 22, 2024, 11:06:58 PM
I had a friend who use to play the gambling only when he consumed drugs,Sometimes he use yo win the money. But most of the time he loss the funds, when we have a chat on the weekend we shared our experiences. The reason of the loss in the drug consumption is the gambler will play the game without any hesitation to take risk. The gambling is the risky game, the gamblers who take huge risk some times make the huge multiple of betting dollars. But the risk doesn’t make him win, because the meaning of the risk is the possibility of losing and winning.Every month we meet each other, the odds between us is gambling.

My friend also added when he had huge winning in the night games without drugs,he had an habit of playing the gambling at the earning morning after wake up.It doesn’t mean an addiction,it was his dedication towards the game. But the sad part is he will loss sometimes if he wake up in the few hours sleep. When he had shared this I had advice him not to do the gambling in both in drugs or early morning games.Because we should not play the game at the early morning, because we are beginning the day.If the game give the loss in the early morning, the entire day will goes in a negative vibe. The new gamblers should take it as the lesson to avoid loss in gambling.

Each type of drug has a different action on the person's body, you didn't mention what he takes but almost all of them interfere with the central nervous system and can affect several neurotransmitters that play an important role in regulating mood. When the drug affects certain neurotransmitters, the person can suffer from symptoms of anxiety, such as muscle tension, sweating, rapid heartbeat and even shortness of breath, which can greatly interfere with strategic decision-making during betting.

Certainly, playing under the influence of drugs does not bring any benefit, it is preferable that people make a random bet that will certainly have the same result but without the risk of becoming dependent on drugs, in addition to gambling.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with what you can afford to lose can actually make a good investment on: February 22, 2024, 10:52:55 PM
Does this really make sense, sometimes I have to reason twice and come to think about something very important which we don't always pay heed to because we always believe that when spending about $1 to $4 is something we can afford to lose right but, it may surprised you if you Sum all this little dollars into investment and savings you (we) would probably make a good investment and savings at the process reducing our gambling rates and lost.

Let us discussed to if this can save someone from gambling addiction.

I follow the following methodology regarding the money I have: Accounts - Investment - Leisure
In other words... water, electricity, house bills, bank loans, studies, medicines, etc. must be a priority and therefore need to be paid off before anything else.
Then, with what is left over, you will save what you think is relevant for a future dream or a financial security reserve... this should be done every month.
Then, you spend the rest of the money on entertainment, whether on gambling or in restaurants, cinema, bars, etc...

Credit cards must be used consciously, and never for gambling.
