281  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 01, 2020, 02:45:01 AM
This is what I am talking about that a certain centralized decentalized combination of system will going to emerge. As expected from the government that will take action to adapt the current blockchain system.

If this will going to continue high chances that bitcoin will be adapted as well or could be replace by these crypto issued by the government.

In my opinion it is better to adapt bitcoin to unify all currencies that inlcude fiats.

But if bitcoin remains decentralized it will still work like a gold for investment purposes only.
282  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin dominance collapse ?! on: October 31, 2020, 02:50:38 PM
Yeah something did happen to bitcoin market as shown in the graph. This must be something about glitch to that certain platform you check. I check also other site like coinmarketcap.com and shows nothing.

It really hard to understand in the world of cryptocurrency  for sometimes it is magical.

Anyway, the best part is that bitcoin market price increase and this is a good sign that we are heading towards a brighter future for bitcoin. Probably more wanted to own bitcoin now because they see its worth already.

That is how it should be a member should encourage other members to learn more about bitcoin by motivating in any ways. I think @OP had a good start here in the forum and hopefully it will continue throughout the journey of his cryptocurrency endeavors.

Well, good luck to OP but I guess not only to OP but to all who wishes stay more for good about cryptocurrency.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: October 31, 2020, 07:57:17 AM
I believe Mike Tyson still have the power pucnhes but hes getting older now so I doubt about it. Besides, he had too made some losses like seen in the figures between the two boxers. I mat may be a fan of Mike Tyson but this time maybe I will go for Jones Junior. Both had experience in boxing and both do good in records of winning by knockouts. Anyway, my bet could change depending on a sneak peak of Mike Tyson training to see how could he had change or maybe even improve after a while that he has stop boxing.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 31, 2020, 07:38:40 AM
Gambling is not about how much btc could be if sold or paired to $. There is no relevance but a gambler could only spend the right amount of money that will not compromise other needs or priorities.

Anyway, in gambling with btc aside from playing it because of fun, excitement and at the same to earn if lucky means that bitcoin is a way for you to become more comfortable for from its features being anonymous and all transaction could be made in bitcoin network without having the need of third party service to provide the transaction.

Why CP3? There are other playera too tha are good and can play roles like the rookie of Miami heat players did. I say they should train hard their players instead of spending or trading to something that is valuable player but expensive. In my own point of view if I can handle a team I'd rather let the staff and players work in the training and pay them with incentives rather than spending too much in a trade. They can motivate everyone because success never comes easy and that will take if either they work hard in training and also train them to play smartly.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie thoughts about altcoin investments. on: October 31, 2020, 05:03:59 AM
A crypto fan or knowledgeable in crytpo will never get to invest directly into something which there is no assurance for earning profit. Most likely investors will not invest in altcoins instead they go always on bitcoin. However, there are instances especially if being ask to become part of the investing team that will earn profit after the token sale. Meaning they can just use the money for the project to work but after that they will get the money. This is my theory why altcoins price after listed will either pump up or fall down because of these kind of investors.

<snip>
No one from the Philippines had translated bitcoin whitepaper sad😔.

Anyway, Filipino people can read, write and even speak fluently in English langauge but not like me(not really good in english).

However, I wish someone from PH will going to translate it and then post it in the forum. It could be probably rewarding especially with merits.
289  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: UPDATED - Plot your transaction in the mempool on: October 31, 2020, 12:44:14 AM
Nice work OP, I hope to get use in that tool every time that I waited for confirmation by setting bitcoin transactions a smaller fee. I got bored sometimes not doing anything while doing the transactio so this could be a good way to find out the transaction and the same time to wait or to estimate time to be consume during the transaction. You guys are really something genius.
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question regarding buying and storing Crypto on: October 31, 2020, 12:36:20 AM
You should have both wallets cold wallet for storing btc and online wallets for spending btc.

If you have a plan in spending you btc then it might be a good idea to use wallets that are custodial so that anytime you can sell it that if you will not hold more btc just only enough and sound like you can afford to lose it. And then you can store btc too in electrum as what others had mention of about cold storage. This means that in storing bitcoin in cold storage means to transfer only btc when it is needed and of course that is keep safely.
291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Fake KeepKey firmware update app on: October 31, 2020, 12:27:31 AM
What else could we expect from these scammers. They are doing due dilegently in their work to scam.

Anyway, good catch OP, alll those scam sites or fake apps could be busted if only to be shared and reported here. This help us keep aware on the things that we should avoid like this one. The cryptocurrency is already one of the best target in scamming and hopefully we can protect each other by keeping always an update in regard to their activity.
292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Plastic barriers next to supermarket queues. on: October 30, 2020, 11:33:39 AM
Maybe you were just a little paranoid with how the virus can be transmitted. There are many things to consider if an individual had the virus.
1st, we are wearing facemask and probably face shields. Study shows that proper wearing of facemask can get 99% chance you will not get the virus.
2nd, if he/she wears facemask too contamination stop already in his/her face mask trapping all the virus in their from his/her respiratory system.
3rd, observing social distancing could not reach the virus that if were going to base these from wha experts has says.
4th, you will not get the virus if you do not have business to go outside or if it is not really important then stay at home and save lives.

Do not get worried too much about the virus instead boost your health by eating healthy foods less sugar and other toxic ingredients that we likely to eat. Then exercise that would I think do to keep you not getting sick if you get affected by the virus.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 30, 2020, 11:08:50 AM
That is a big yes for me as to avoid the spread of the contagious disease all transaction were advised to be online or to use digital options that include the procedure of payment.

Here in our place the government had decided to open the economy to all that will enable for those jobless now to apply for a job and then earn salary in return getting into risk of getting the virus. We know that wearing of facemask, observe social distancing and wearing of face shields are just the minimum protection that can help stop the spread of virus.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 30, 2020, 06:00:02 AM
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.

A common man who doesn't have investment knowledge and surly spends their entire life with private jobs. At the same time, speculators do put resources so they can consume their time by sitting home.
In reality, an average person is consistently hesitant to lose their cash; they would prefer not to face challenges all he needs to save a monthly salary.
There's minimal distinction between the average person and a speculator. If you have embraced the measure of cash, you can contribute it

But that is the usual thing that happen in our life. If we will going to portray a number of working and number of investors may it be cryptocurrency or other forms of investment will surely get a higher percentage of people that are having jobs or earning through salary than people earning through their investments.

This is why these succeasful investors I often heard encourages anyone to invest, earn and enjoy life from its profit.
295  Other / Meta / Re: How many hours are you connected daily? on: October 30, 2020, 05:55:42 AM
Less than an hour but will visit the forum time to time. Actually average user can onl focus on reading for about an hour or could be more than an hour but less thab 2 hours. Eyes should rest not get too focused especially in PC because it can degrade one's health like in the eyes. Other than the usual or the common type of person I know are visual and they tend to learn more in what they see rather than what they read. However, reading is fun and could be motivational if it in line with our interest like cryptocurrency.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 30, 2020, 05:49:48 AM
No news yet that it would accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, but having cashless gaming in a land-based casino is a big step. And the possibility of these casinos to accept Bitcoin or other tokens may not be far from now.
There will be news soon, the fact that they go cashless, they can't skip the popularity of bitcoin and other crypto assets, they know it will increase their revenue as the adoption of crypto are increasing. With proper regulation, I don't doubt they will start adding it one day.
Cashless had already been implented in other sectors and only now that it gets rampant after the pandemic hit the world. Making online transaction is a bettee way also for a exchange because it can reduce the tasky procedure of forwarding and receicing payment plus with change and that alone can take time during the procedure of the transaction.

However, news that we are waiting are from bitcoin news that hopefully they will going to take bitcoin as part or option of digital payments or cash transfers.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 30, 2020, 05:46:27 AM
BREAKING:

In compliance with the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Technical Working Group and the Department of Health (DOH) Advisory Group of Experts and to ensure the integrity and safety of the PBA Bubble, the league is postponing the games starting TODAY, October 30 - Friday, until the new protocols proposed by the IATF and DOH are out in place.

The PBA would like to thank the IATF, DOH and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) for their continuous support and guidance.

With the series of continous postponement of some games, the PBA bubble is not success. Thoughts guys.
Well we can't get confidence enough or to relax in these teying times of pandemic. Even if the cases continues to break down still the virus is present and could be highly contagious if people will continue to break the protocol especially the wearing of facemask, face shields, and to observe social distancing. Other than that cleaning hands often will be ideally should become a routine to avoid getting the virus. This is very important and that thr postpone is important for the health of all people get invovled in the PBA bubble.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help me by giving some ideas of blackjack tournaments on: October 30, 2020, 03:55:28 AM
As other tournaments did in every competition you could chose on how to end tournament. I am not good in conducting a tournament and has only little knowledge to it but hope these can help.

1. Verify your tournament style of what type of elimination the players will going to like
A. Single Elimination
B. Double Elimination
C. Round Robin
2. Learn how to make a seeding for players to avoid getting bias in making vs. try to seed them by letting them choose a number before displaying the seed numbers that has been created after all possible players had chosen their numbers.
3. Fee also is important as sort of motivation you can ask the players a fee to reward them or you can fund it if you have some funds or get some sponsors to do the rewards.
4. Money is not the only thing that could make a tournament worth it to join but a trophy, a certificate or evidence that acknowledge the players worth winning the tournament. That piece of thing will be remembered through the rest of his life just imagine that.
5. Create rules and regulations.
6. Think of the best time to start the tournament. (Time Frame)
7. Get sponsors!
8. ask for help to someone tha wanted to get involve
9. Lastly, ask permit if it involves like if you wanted to public the tournament post in the forum as a courtesy, the admin or forum moderator should be ask for permission. I think they always will agree to it.

300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginning with Crypto on: October 30, 2020, 12:12:58 AM
Nice observation OP. Yes, I totally agree with you that earning profit in cryptocurrency is to invest in it long term. This is a high chance in earning profit because market of cryptocurrency always grows timely just like gold and tha is one wnderful thing about having bitcoin. Day trading would seem also good but like you OP I would require a demo acount and to chose a good platform for this. However, I will not recommend day trading for this is a waste of time and money from the fees that will be taken every transaction. However, short term hold will do and that help you to earn more.
