Need the tx hashes.
282  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info wallet sends disabled? on: March 12, 2013, 05:40:44 PM
Please try again now.

It looks like the block with contained the first funds I sent to that address is missing at blockchain.info.

http://blockchain.info/block-index/355421/0000000000000103673aad34c8073127549c27ccb9e98460d1598c5bdefaa37e

I think that's the source of my missing 0.43277283 BTC. This was <24 hours before the BlockChain database crash.

That block is at http://blockchain.info/block/0000000000000103673aad34c8073127549c27ccb9e98460d1598c5bdefaa37e.

That link has an invalid block-index where did you get it from?

Please copy and paste the bitcoin address.
284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: During the fork, what version was blockchain.info on? on: March 12, 2013, 05:29:55 PM

Hey Ben

Is there an issue with transactions not confirming? They were confirmed prior to the fork, but after the recent transactions are showing unconfirmed? Anyone else?

If the transaction was confirmed in the now orphaned 0.8 chain it should go back into the memory pool and be included in the 0.7 chain again eventually. If you let me know the tx hash I can take a closer look.
285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: During the fork, what version was blockchain.info on? on: March 12, 2013, 04:18:45 PM
Blockchain uses a 0.7 based client so it was on "stuck" on 0.7 chain to begin with. But I altered bitcoind to accept the 0.8 blocks about an hour after so it switched to the 0.8 chain for a while, then back to 0.7 when it caught up.
286  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info wallet sends disabled? on: March 12, 2013, 04:16:07 PM
Worked fine for me a second ago.

Still not working for me...  Guess I'll have to try a different client...   Sad

What is your bitcoin address? (Address with a balance greater than 0 BTc)
287  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: March 12, 2013, 04:44:29 AM
Just a quick note to say all shared transactions are currently on hold. It looks like this fork is going to take at least another few hours to resolve so they will be resumed again in the morning.
288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: blockchain - lost 2 factor authentification on: March 11, 2013, 06:58:58 PM
I think the blockchain support is extremely slow. I find it strange why they decline, why have this function then?

Likely because of either you did not click confirm link in the two factor reset request email or a the correct secret phrase was not provided.

Please PM me your wallet details and I will check.
289  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info coin mixer TOTAL RIPOFF on: March 10, 2013, 11:56:57 AM
The fee was lowered to 0.5% a few days ago which is 3-4x cheaper than most similar services.
290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain is Back down for any one??? on: March 09, 2013, 03:13:05 PM
The RAM in each server was upgraded today. I wasn't expecting any downtime but the rolling restarts did not go as planned.
291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info Colluding with SatoshiDICE to spam the network? on: March 09, 2013, 03:11:43 PM
Blockchain hosts the SatoshiDICE bet form for free

I do not agree with the spam argument myself since the amount of transactions made today will be insignificant compared to the amount needed in future if bitcoin continues to grow. As long as transactions all include the correct fee why should some be deemed "more useful" than others.
292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Something very wrong with blockchain.info on: March 09, 2013, 02:55:33 PM
It adhoc accepts my password then does not

this is a copy and pasted pass word from a file

also cut and paste identifier

so no typing errors

wow!

what is happening

it seemed to occur more after i used google authenticator.

If the problem is not solved please PM me.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Double-spends, Double-spends everywhere! on: March 05, 2013, 02:37:28 PM
Have i just lost 20 btc or is there any way to solve this?

Wait for one of the transactions to confirm and depending on what client you are using the problem will resolve itself. Nothing is lost just a bit of time is needed to resolve the conflict.
294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to make blockchain.info wallet rebroadcast a transaction? on: March 04, 2013, 10:29:57 PM
Is there a way to have blockchain.info rebroadcast a transaction?

I rebroadcasted it manually. It is really much too large for the fee though.

Edit: I can remove it if you would like to push out a new transaction.
295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is blockchain.info receive payments API broken? on: March 04, 2013, 07:37:40 PM
Hi.

Is the blockchain.info API working for you?

I'm developing with it and the test goes OK (my callback gets hit in test mode).

I'm generating addresses correctly but:

- They've  disabled the anonymous feature. In the examples, the request to generate a new address is of the form.
   https://blockchain.info/api/receive?method=create&address=$receiving_address&callback=$callback_url

but that returns error if you don't include the old "anonymous" parameter.

- Money sent to the generated address doesn't gets to the other side, no matter if
the "anonymous" parameter is set to "true" or "false"
(maybe the amounts were too tiny - order of millibitcoin?)

Thanks

The first issue should be fixed now. What amount are you trying to send through? For anonymous payments the recomended minimum is 0.1 BTC.

And poor Ben's being unresponsive currently.

Thank you for notifying me.
296  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Uk - vat on: March 04, 2013, 07:06:40 PM
TQ at the start go on... oh wait its not valid.. lol its not a VAT number for any country.

Oops made a mistake with the VAT number. The correct one is up now.

The HRMC has not indicated to us that they consider bitcoin to be outside the scope of VAT. You should be able to get your accountant to negotiate a fixed rate.

In addition to AML watch out for stolen bank accounts, If UK banks receive a complaint they will reverse the transaction.
297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: importing private key from a blockchain wallet on: March 04, 2013, 05:17:26 PM
Hi, its my first topic in this forum and im wondering if someone can help me out.
i a new bitcoin user, so i created a blockchain.info wallet ..and funded it with some btc but when i try to send them it tells that the private key doesnt match the adress. i ve googled to how to import privkey and i tryed different methodes (bitcoind, pywallet) but im still stuck. may be its not the right section but i cant post anywhere else for now

Please explain the steps you went through when you signed up for a wallet.

Did you open an account at blockchain.info first? Or did you use another desktop wallet first. Where did you send the coins from into the wallet? Did you add the address as watch only?
298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitpay site down? on: March 03, 2013, 10:23:25 AM
Likely due to cloudfare outage https://twitter.com/CloudFlare lots of sites use it.
299  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: March 03, 2013, 10:16:57 AM
For the moment it is down indefinitely, sorry for any inconvenience. Its nothing too exciting but I won't be able to provide any updates until mid week at the earliest.

Site is down currently because the site relies on cloudflare for dns (https://www.cloudflare.com) which is also is down.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain support tells me to come here? on: March 02, 2013, 05:22:41 PM
That would be a nice one liner for Blockchain to post on their buy/sell page then. Making their users aware of this. I guess they expect every to know everything about everything. Doesn't matter now, I stopped using their service and went back to old reliable.  My local wallet.

https://blockchain.info/wallet/bitcoin-faq explains transaction fees somewhat. If trying to send more than your available balance an error will be displayed "Insufficient funds X Required X available", X Required is the transaction value calculated including fees and X available is the amount available to spend now. So in order for the transaction to be sent successfully the value needs lowering to be less than X available.
