281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED] Staisybit - Universal Online Staking Wallet on: July 29, 2016, 02:02:45 PM
Oh, well... I have just tried a second time to withdraw ERC from Staisybit (after more than 3 days waiting for the first attempted withdrawal to complete and after more than 22 hours of sending an e-mail to support@staisybit.com regarding the first - failed - withdrawal attempt).
I can not comment on Alberto's personal life and/or problems as I don't know anything about that. All I can say is that this service is terrible.
It seems that Matthias (a.k.a. szenekonzept) and Steve (a.k.a. metamorphin) have no real administrative or operational power over Staisybit and (in the best case scenario) they might be as screwed as the rest of the users with funds blocked in that "service", if not more screwed because they endorsed it enthusiastically.
Please refrain from posting positive reactions about Staisybit! The track record of that operation is at least shady and littered with deceit.
In case of a court action I will be very happy to provide sufficient proofs for my claims.
As of this moment, I'll wait no longer than 1 (one) week to retrieve my coins (swapped or otherwise). If that doesn't happen, I'll consider this operation a scam and I will treat it accordingly.

I have been trying to withdraw my ERC for months and will never happen. I tried to make a withdrawal days ago, but nothing.....I will try again to withdraw my ERC but I don't have high hopes.

If you are looking for an online web staking wallet have a look at:

POSWallet they are new but they have a clear interface and deposits and withdrawals work and they seem as transparent as anyone else in this business. If you want to stake online, go check it out and leave Staisybit alone.

Just to make it clear, I have no involvement with this service but they have added Mojocoin amongst others and I have staked there and made withdrawals; and it worked!!!
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Hybrid X11 minable / PoS | MANDATORY UPGRADE TO 2.1 NOW on: July 29, 2016, 09:18:51 AM
Thank you for the guide. If I want to run a masternode and have > 200,000 coins, is it possible to stake my other coins normally on the same daemon? Or would I need to run a separate NON-masternode daemon to stake my additional coins? Thanks

There is an option - I will setup another MN today and test if this works.

The idea is to use the reservebalance=200000 statement in the .conf file for the daemon. This should keep your balance from being used by stake.

I will post results after 24h :-)

I am also trying with reservebalance=200000 and will report if I get any problem too. If this does not allow the masternode to stake then I suggest adding something to the staking code such that it will not use the masternode collateral for staking. I'm surprised that wasn't already the case but I am new to the concept of masternodes. Cheers.

The masternode collateral is NOT staking, the masternode gets 50% of the generated coins in a PoS block.

Can the people who voted to object against the MOJO 'burn' address please post a little reply and let me know why?
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Hybrid X11 minable / PoS | MANDATORY UPGRADE TO 2.1 NOW on: July 29, 2016, 08:30:26 AM

please let me know if there's any bounty action available for a mac Qt Smiley

There is a problem with the PoS system that we are sorting out. I don't see the point of releasing a Mac before the fix is done. After the fix is done (hopefully just a few days) then we can talk again.

I am preparing to burn off 5 mill. MOJO to take the total down to allow for the PoW phase. I will 'burn' MOJO to: MBurnMojoWithNoPrivateKeyXMMHXyKXz
Do you have any objections? If you object to this address as a 'burn' address then please explain why in the thread.
I just want to be transparent and give people a heads up and a chance to have their say. Nobody has a private key to this address. I have sent 1 MOJO to prove that it works:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mojo/address.dws?MBurnMojoWithNoPrivateKeyXMMHXyKXz.htm

Any comments?

Masternode Update

So, I have set up and I am running a MN according to the specs. in my previous post. I started the MN at around 1000 hours (GMT) on 27/07/2016. Here it is in the block explorer:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mojo/address.dws?MFtJpsiDm4oEmYTi75Ddq4YapRnioX97HV.htm

I got my first stake reward at 1540 (all the times in GMT) and continued to get stake rewards through the day and today. My MN has now been running for a good few hours past 24 hours and it is seemingly running fault free and I am still getting stakes. Nothing happened after 24 hours and no errors in the log and strange behaviour. I have traced all the stake rewards coming into my MN and they are all 50% of the generated MOJO from PoS blocks found by other stakers that are not running MNs. So, the MNs are getting 50% of every PoS block found and the 200k collateral itself is not staking and is still safely shown as a single 200k UTXO. I would therefore suggest that the MN network is operating as it should harvesting 50% of all the PoS generated coins. The reason the rewards are low is the fact that there are little stake rewards and PoW blocks.

Here are the last entries in my MN debug.log way past 24 hours and the word "error" does not feature anywhere in the logs.

So, My MN has been running for 24 hours plus and it still seems to be operating as expected with no errors.

We are still investigating the PoS rewards and why it seems that some are getting PoS rewards and others not so much. We are are aware of some GUI issues.

We are monitoring the blockchain and we are researching the issues that we see. There won't be too many updated for 2-3 days as we want to gather some data. If you have specific problems send an e-mail to team-AT-mojocoin.org with a debug.log file attached and describe in as much detail as possible what is happening.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Hybrid X11 minable / PoS | MANDATORY UPGRADE TO 2.1 NOW on: July 27, 2016, 08:30:24 PM
I have written a quick guide to how I set up a MOJO masternode. This worked for me but may not be the only method:

MN local controller wallet w/ 200k collateral / remote MN daemon method

I am using a Vultr 768MB Ram 1 CPU VPS with Ubuntu 14.04 for the MOJO Linux daemon

Log onto your VPS / remote server running Linux

I installed the dependencies for the MOJO Linux daemon as follows:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade -y
sudo apt-get install -y libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libgmp-dev libevent-dev libminiupnpc-dev libssl-dev
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
That is 6 different commands.

I uploaded the MOJO Linux daemon 'mojocoind' to /root/ at my VPS using FTP

Run the following command to make 'mojocoind' executable:
Code:
chmod +x ./mojocoind

Then start a “fresh” MOJO v.2.1 wallet locally in Windows with a “clean” wallet.dat not used before.
You can run several MOJO wallets with different data directories using the -datadir= switch.
Sync the wallet and name the default deposit address whatever you want.
Exit your wallet.

have the following in your local mojocoin.conf file:
Code:
server=1
rpcuser=dshdkhasldhalskhdlkajhdljslkdhjlsajwhatever
rpcpassword=sldhakjhdakjshdfka5d6a6d6as7dfjajswhatevernotthesame
rpcport=22255
listen=0
staking=0
logtimestamps=1
mnconflock=0
addnode=mojonode01.mojocoin.org
addnode=mojonode02.mojocoin.org

IT IS VITAL IT SEEMS TO SET THE staking=0 in the local mojocoin.conf

Send EXACTLY 200,000 MOJO to the local controller wallets address that you named as above. Wait for 10 confirmations.
Go to the console in your local controller wallet and run the command:
Code:
masternode genkey
This will give you your masternode private key which a long string (copy and keep it safe)

Then run the command:
Code:
masternode outputs
This should give you a transaction hash for your 200k MOJO and an index number 0 or 1 (copy and keep safe)

exit your local controller wallet and make / edit the local masternode.conf file like this:
Code:
alias<space>IP:port<space>masternodeprivkey<space>transaction-hash<space>index
The IP is the IP of your remote VPS and port is 22255
save and exit

on your remote VPS create or edit your remote mojocoin.conf file in /root/.Mojocoin.conf
It should contain the following only:
Code:
rpcuser=slkafhjlasfjmojojsrandom
rpcpassword=randomasdkd123344589dhfjf7jfdkdkkslkd7
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=6xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxc
(your masternode private key)

Go back to /root and start the 'mojocoind' with the command:
Code:
./mojocoind -daemon
It should say that the daemon is starting (you may have to hit enter if you don’t see the prompt again)
Check that the daemon is running with the command:
Code:
ps -ef
and look for something like:
Code:
root     16578     1  0 10:43 ?        00:03:30 ./mojocoind -daemon
This means the daemon is running and has loaded your masternode private key from the conf file

Then start the local MOJO wallet and let it sync (as long as you have update both the local mojocoin.conf and masternode.conf as above)
Go to console and issue the command:
Code:
masternode start-many
this should hopefully give you this:

Code:
masternode start-many

{
    "overall" : "Successfully started 1 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 1",
    "detail" : {
        "status" : {
            "alias" : "alias",
            "result" : "succesful"
        }
    }
}

This means that you have sent a start command to your remote server.

On your remote server you can issue the command:
Code:
./mojocoind masternode debug
and you should get:

root@mojomn01:~# ./mojocoind masternode debug
masternode started remotely
root@mojomn01:~#

This means that your remote masternode is now running.

Following this method I have managed to start a MN that is still running after more than 9 hours and has given 4 stake rewards. There may be other methods. Download the daemon from the OP.

I'm doing a simple test stake with a Windows 2.1 wallet (run inside a VM, but this should not make a difference)

at 1600 hours (GMT, London) I made a deposit to a "clean" install wallet with only one address: MEzoqNwXYhSZyWroRrFe5rDiCkRXXcNNts
I sent 10,000 MOJO to this address and this is part of block number: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mojo/block.dws?30583.htm

The mojocoin.conf file looks like this:
Code:
server=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=mojo167fieuyoiv
rpcpassword=gfdtyuhbvfrt56yhbghjkiuytgfcvbn
listen=0
staking=1
addnode=mojonode01.mojocoin.org
addnode=mojonode02.mojocoin.org

So, I will follow this wallet for 24-48 hours and see how the stake reward works.

Thanks, I'll check it out and get back to you shortly. I am mining to your pool now so just let me try it for a little while and I'll list it and pay the bounty.
291  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [PEEP COIN] GUARANTEED VALUE - FREE ICO!!! on: July 27, 2016, 05:15:49 AM
I think the scam accusation comes from the fact that this is the second thread where you say that you have 1 billion dollars worth of assets that you will give away. I think that's a hard sell to convince people that you have assets worth a billion and you're here trying to flog it. Something isn't quite right with that, is it?

MOJOcoin version 2.1 is out

We have implemented a hard fork today and MOJOcoin is minable with X11 for 6 months.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1366963.0
There is a bounty of 300,000 MOJO for the first mining pool

BOUNTY: 300,000 MOJO for the first mining pool (equates to roughly 0.5 BTC right now)

I said I would burn 5 mill. coins to compensate for the X11 mining phase. I have found a 'burn' address which is: M7uAERuQW2AotfyLDyewFGcLUDtAYu9v5V
I have now sent 10 MOJO to this address to prove that this is a 'burn' address and that the coins can never be redeemed. This is the 'raw' transaction details:

{
         "value": 10,
         "n": 0,
         "scriptPubKey": {
            "asm": "OP_DUP OP_HASH160 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 OP_EQUALVERIFY OP_CHECKSIG",
            "hex": "76a914000000000000000000000000000000000000000088ac",
            "reqSigs": 1,
            "type": "pubkeyhash",
            "addresses": [
               "M7uAERuQW2AotfyLDyewFGcLUDtAYu9v5V"
            ]

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mojo/tx.dws?30441.htm

So, if someone with knowledge can confirm that those 10 MOJOs are now 'lost' I will go ahead with the rest of the 'burn'

26/07/2016 - hard fork to MOJOcoin v.2.1 - update

As you are all probably aware we implemented a hard-fork this morning (GMT time) to MOJOcoin v.2.1.0.0 and by this time it seems to have been a success and the forked chain is processing along as expected. We get both PoW and PoS block created and the block time is getting more stable. I will update everyone with what we did and why and what we didn’t do and why not in this hard-fork and what to expect in the next few weeks from now.

What we did do:
1. Update the protocol version to 9000 and exclude any lower protocol versions from the network
2. Activate PoW blocks for X11 mining for around 6 months w/ a block reward of 20 MOJO
3. Keep PoW activated for around 2 years past the 6 months with a zero reward as a backup measure to ensure the chain doesn’t get stuck with low stake weight / MN issues.
4. Added permanent seed nodes to the code: mojonode01.mojocoin.org and 5 more. We will have at least 4 permanent seed nodes up at any given time.
5. Disabled Tor as the total Tor integration has not been completed and tested.

The reasons for doing the above has been explained before. We had a stuck chain and insufficient stake weight to drive it and we decide that this was the best option to progress this project.

Note on Tor: The Tor integration in the source code that we want has not been completed and tested. I know we had Tor running in version 1.0.1.0 but we have decided to deactivate this feature in this update. We need to do some more thinking and testing for how to integrate Tor. This is likely to happen in around 6 months time. So just to be clear, all the wallets are running on the clearnet and NOT on Tor so your IP may be discovered. The other security features should work. Some testing will be done and any feedback is welcome as long as it is as specific as possible about any bugs.

What we didn’t do (that you might have expected us to do…)
1. We did not reduce the min. stake age but this has been kept at 24 hours. The reason for this is that we could not be certain that a lowering of the min. stake age would not have security implications and also could not guarantee that it would not cause issues with the chain and block verifications.
2. We did not deactivate / change the fact that a MN has to be running for staking to take place. The MNs get their reward from other staking nodes. Again, this may change in a future upgrade but for now we kept the MN / PoS system as it was before the hard fork as we reviewed the code and it appears to working as it should. We now need to give it some time.

We are working on a method for setting up a MN that is as clear as it can be and I will put up a link to a ready built Linux daemon in the OP.

We will also set up at least 3 MNs in the coming days to make sure that staking is happening as it should.

Both exchanges and two block explorers have been upgraded to v.2.1 as well.

A Mac wallet will be out shortly. I am a Mac user myself so we are working on that.

Good luck to everyone…

I will work on a fix for the "missing addresses" / payouts to masternodes display in a few days, and a masternode info page.. My explorer was not build with masternode core's in mind.. hehe..

I assume the addresses are also public in the chain right?

Should be, just the public ones

Thank you, we got 14 connections and get both PoS and PoW blocks now so that is promising. Let it run for a few hours let's see the block times etc.

Are you MN operators now getting your half of the PoS blocks?
