1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BITZ] 10% Proof-of-Stake ** A Currency for your Digital Future ** on: June 22, 2015, 05:34:36 AM
This forum is too toxic. People enjoy ctitisizing and bashing others... That's partly the reason no one wants to list his identity here: even though I have nothing to hide, I don't want idiots to play with my name and post bullshit using my personal details. So I understand you very well, Bitz Dev.

For the others I would like to mention that this Dev is more legit than 98% of all the devs on BCT, even without doing POD.
I've read enough of his posts here on the thread to analyse his behaviour and come to this conclusion. Didn't read his posts on other threads (don't have enough time), but don't think he is much different there. You can see a real person, with his strengths and weaknesses, unlike some Devs who play superhero, so you never know what game they will play next... And yes I mean one specific dev whom all of recent FUD-ers of this thread seem to worship Smiley

This Dev is one of those guys that goes around and post SHIT on other threads -- i would be happy to post it here from the many other coins he bashes---

The BITZ Dev has zero class and is a troll-- if you want to have a respectable coin stop fucking with other coins

Ok, so I don't mind a factual discussion bensam12345 (if you feel the need to swear, go ahead, we are free to express ourselves here). This is a list of coins that I may have posted negative comments about (or coins that I bash as you so eloquently put it). I got nothing to hide:

Coins I believe to be a Scam (I might be proved wrong, we'll see):
BitStone [BST] - dev abandoned project before ICO ends.
CryptoCircuits [CIRC] - ICO ongoing, wait and see what happens.
Browncoin - where are they and what happened. Abandoned.
QOINTUM - Where are they now? Abandoned.
Alliance Tokens (12 week trading course) - Abandoned.
Twelve [TWLV] - Not online since 7th June - 3500 Sats. ICO - now 27 Sats. - Where are they now?
StealthCash [STX] - Not online since 30th May - 7000 Sats. ICO - now 124 Sats. - where are they now?
Browse [BRO] - Not online since 13th May - where are they now?
HazmatCoin [HZT] - Not online since 27th April. Where are they now?
256 Coin [256] - dev not online since 25th March. Where are they now?

I am critical to the following (if i am wrong then I'll admit it, I'll check again in 6 months time):
Sphere [SPHR] - I posted one question re. the value of a video. No trolling.
Arbit [ARB] - I posted one question re. the value of a video. No trolling.
ParkByte [PKB] - I posted a question around the tech. promised by the coin. No trolling.
Gambit [GAM] - I am critical to this one, although it’s still going. I question the motive of the dev. No trolling.

With XDECoin [XDE] - I posted some comments as I got tired of endless updates and forks. I never suggested that this was a scam.

On the other hand, I fully support a range of other cryptos, like BitcoinDark, Orbit, Clams, Neutron, Diamond, Opal, Florincoin, Boolberry, Dash, Unobtainium, Noblecoin, Potcoin, DNotes, Vericoin, Fibre, Kobocoin, Reddcoin and the list goes on. All of these and others are genuine cryptos as opposed to the ones in the list above. Do you see the difference?

And, maybe you are right, I should just stay on this thread, but I sometimes feel I have to make people aware, maybe yourself. Did you invest in any of the coins above from the scam list? I hope not....
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a forkless altcoin? on: June 21, 2015, 08:04:54 PM
It's possible but I haven't seen an implementation to date.

As far as I can tell, it ought to be possible - you trade having forks for having the network stop producing blocks until a consensus is reached.

So, would you say that as a general rule a block time of say 20 minutes will produce less forks that a block time of say 2 minutes?
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NTRN] Neutron - New Nucleus wallets released! - Next developments soon! on: June 21, 2015, 07:47:39 PM
I have five masternodes running and staking like they should...
No problems guys...

Regards

Goldmaxx

How do I know if my masternode is running correctly? I can only see mine in the Nucleus Network tab? Do I just wait for the staking reward?
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BITZ] 10% Proof-of-Stake ** A Currency for your Digital Future ** on: June 21, 2015, 07:39:33 PM
Here is a Sunday update again:

C-Cex de-listing:
I am fully aware that C-Cex has marked Bitz for de-listing on 02/07/2015 due to low volume. I am trying to get the volume up and will continue to do so in the next few days to make sure the average is 0.2BTC per day for the last 30 days. This will keep Bitz on C-Cex for another round I guess. I have to say that being on C-Cex is not essential and if Bitz is marked for de-listing again I will let it run out. You can trade Bitz at Cryptopia (will never de-list) and YoBit. C-Cex is mainly a pump-n-dump exchange and has a bad reputation amongst some people and I know from feedback that many people don't like trading there. I will keep working to get Bitz onto as many exchanges as possible and I keep contacting people around the crypto community and I keep searching for opportunities.

Coinsource Verification:
I had plans to get verified through Coinsource as this will help to get listed on Bittrex but money has been tight. After the recent controversy over Bitstone and some baseless allegations that Bitz is fraud has pushed this ahead I guess. So, on Friday 19/06/2015 I paid my $50,- to Coinsource and sent over all my documents. As it was Friday night and I am in London and I was working late and they are in LA we were unable to do the interview. In the interest of transparency I have copied in the initial conversation I had with Coinsource. They are not doing verifications over the weekend and I will do the interview tomorrow and post the verification.

I also want Earlz to review the code to get an independent view and see if there are any issues that needs to be fixed. This will have to wait a bit due to little money.

2FA wallets:
I want to make the Bitz wallets super secure and I want to have 2-factor-authentication for transfers as an option. It seems that at the moment there are mainly Google authenticator and Authy and neither are very good to implement. The whole issue around 2FA for wallets is tricky and maybe this is why nobody has done it yet. So, I am drawing up some different concepts for 2FA that does not require a third party. This is on the drawing board at the moment. It's a tricky task.

Block Explorers:
For a second Block Explorer I have considered Coinplorer or Presstab. Both are really good and I will decide in the next few days. This will mean that in addition to the master seed node, there will be two other permanent nodes and two sources to make sure the network is healthy.

White paper:
I know there was some critique of the white paper in some posts by members who clearly didn't understand the paragraph about anonymity. In the white paper I talk about network anonymity and anonymous transactions on the network and whether Bitz should implement anonymous transactions like say, Boolberry or Dash. There is nothing about the anonymity or not, of BCT members or anyone else. BCT user "charlieSeen" raised some questions which I answered and he then did not comment again.

We are also doing some work in the background around getting an Android wallet out. There are a few options available and we'll decide soon on how to do it.

I know that we are one of the smallest communities in crypto but rest assured that we are working towards our aims. I have a full time day job (I work shifts) and work on Bitz is sometimes in bursts of activity and sometimes there is some downtime due to other commitments.

Watch out for the Coinsource verification and stay with us.

I do not believe in thread censorship like some others do and again I welcome any questions and I will try my best to answer. FUD and hate-speech is what it is and most people will see through it.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NTRN] Neutron - New Nucleus wallets released! - Next developments soon! on: June 21, 2015, 06:23:53 PM
I tried to set up the masternode but the command doesn't exist in my wallet, I am running a Mac...

Looks like dev didn't build the new wallet for OS X yet...

Edit: I compiled it for you: https://mega.co.nz/#!AYB1wKqS!eZxX_m-4GSRSUd59Z-JKI6YZE9Y0wMVeg1IgO3NMZYM
Watch out that they don't alter the link when quoting my posts!!

Grin - Great, that seemed to work and it looks like I am running a masternode now, I can't see any others though, yet...

Thank you ....

Now, I got 25,000 NTRN, so how do I get a masternode? There is no info in the OP?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1037272.msg11484124#msg11484124

I read that, does it have to be exactly 25,000 NTRN that is transferred, or at least 25,000 NTRN?

Exactly 25 000 in one input.

if send from an exchange need send 25,000 plus the fee.

I'm going to try that now, there are a few NTRNs in the wallet already but I'll send exactly 25,000 and then go through the procedure and see...I hope it works....

This is not about any one coin, you do it to a lot of coins.  And I read your thread about BitStone- I do believe that was corrected and you stated you would stop the FUD.  From what I can see, you started with additional FUD after that- you lied.  What about your criticism of Circuits- you accuse people of getting paid, state same developers, and ask for others to identify themselves.  More of the same on Twelve and the list goes on.  I do recall you asking Private Investors to Show their identity, but you will not.  I think you accomplished something with BitStone but you continue attacking it and Circuits.  Who would invest in a coin where the Dev is more worried about others coins and not his own.

I was curious as to who is criticising me and so I had a look at your contribution to crypto and this forum. So you have posted 285 posts and whats interesting is that most of what you post is off-topic and asking for giveaways and you have posted an identical post 64 times in "★☆★ 777coin.com - The Modern Bitcoin Casino! ★☆★ [Free 2 mBTC][Get Yours Now!]" - "Username: WillyBTC, daily. thanks."

Could that be to get a higher status?

What qualifies you to assess and to criticise cryptos? What coins have you worked on?

As I said I appreciate constructive criticism and I will reply to that.

Lol this is the bitcointalkforums man. Nobody needs a crypto *criticize* license. haha while we are at it let me criticize the dev that doesn't know how to spell.

So what if someone cannot spell, are you a child?  It is not a positive or progressive thing to highlight the shortcomings in people in the way you have.

Look, I can spell, it's Gumbork that is ignorant to regional spelling variations in the English language and he is trying to get at me but comes off as the dimwit himself.

need more volume market at c-cex....
  Embarrassed

I'm aware that C-cex has marked Bitz for delisting, I wouldn't worry to much, we'll sort it out and there is always YoBit and Cryptopia. I will get us onto Bittrex as well in the the near future. I am doing the Coinsource verification today at some point and that will help a bit and I'll see what else I can do to keep Bitz on C-Cex.

People will invest wherever they want I guess

dev go ahead and get coinssource verified please. I think we have called you out to be pretty hypocritical of yourself. time is ticking, and the more time that goes by the more you look like an idiot. It took you months to write that pos whitepaper that is super scammish and shaddy. [size=20pt]we need you to verify your developers too, how do we know you aren't just the same person on the other account?[/size] you said it yourself people buy accounts. the fact that you use that to try to defend yourself even sounds kinda scammish. its like you are waving a red flag saying you follow people that sell accounts, why would you EVEN say something like that. the bitstone dev is a newbie account, how does that look like they bought it. you are a flaming idiot bro.

HELLO PLEASE ADDRESS THIS PLEASE!!! I SPENT THE TIME READING YOUR WHITEPAPER AND WAS ABOUT TO INVEST. HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO THIS?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

Hi, the dev is legit. If you read this thread then you'll think that too...

Yeah right man.

I was thinking about buying some of these but wtf is up with the whitepaper? You have some very alarming things in here, that are so contradictory its screaming scam!

Allow me to expose you, and I await your reply.

First Alarm~

Why do you like to operate like that? Why don't you want to be open with your community?

Second Alarm~

If you don't want your community of users to be anon, why do you the devs get to be?

Third Alarm~

Let me get this straight, you understand being anon can hurt your coin and community? Who wrote this crazy scam writepaper? Has a bunch of bs about you floating around in my head Huh

Forth Alarm~

Well, I guess you think everyone is just plain stupid huh? Looks like the whole community here is just stupid as heck to believe that this guy is legit after reading that whitepaper. You say in your whitepaper that you want to be transparent, but you are looking pretty contradictory in every sense.

After reading this, and seeing how you act in other threads as I was looking over your post history, I will be reporting this thread to coinssource and having them contact you to become verified. If you choose not to they will post that you declined, and will be broadcasted to the crypto community that you are being very shady.

You say:

we need you to verify your developers too, how do we know you aren't just the same person on the other account?

I only have one account, which other account are you talking about please?

You seem to be a bit emotional and ramble on, you talk about a premine but there is no copy from the source code to back up your claim.

I obviously didn't say that the newbie account had been bought, I say that others account, like yours maybe, could have been bought. I wasn't aware of this problem until recently. You really need to read things better and understand before you start shouting as you are the one that will be seen as the idiot.

You are not able to distinguish between the properties of a crypto and transactions on the blockchain and issues around identity of users on this forum.

I have addressed all your concerns now, please post copy of the source code where the premine is set and the name of the other account you are referring to?
