All roads lead to SuperNET and NXT. You get burned and learn this the hard way.

What was that quote about those giving up their freedom in exchange for protection and not getting either of those in the end, forgot the dude who said it

Smells like the infamous "blood-in-the-street" time begins.

Crypto currencies are designed so people can be their own bank. Do not store cryptos at centralized exchanges or centralized wallet services.

You really shouldn't consider investing in coins not in Top 10 on coinmarketcap.com unless you want to gamble with an extremely high risk.

1) at least 1-2 months of blockchain run; 2) development progress, regular commits to repository, features being implemented more or less on schedule not just talked about; 3) features that allow for unique use cases of the crypto;

Pumps and dumps happen all the time in every market until it finds the proper range to stay in for longer term.
Pump and dump scheme is illegal in wallstreet stockmarket right? Is it illegal in bitcoin too? Wallstreet stock market is not a free market. Why do you compare them?
|
|
|
We hit 330 again now.. Lot of dumping as usual on BTC-e
effects on Altcoins ?
Cryptos are in the transition period that coincides with the first bear market for Bitcoin (to last 12+ months), effects on altcoins are multidirectional, chaotic and unknown. Better stick to something with good fundamentals and try to buy more of it on dips regardless of where Bitcoin price is heading, and diversify too.

I love coming back here every time I see the BTC price slip more and more but the people here still are convinced gold is doomed. LOL.
They are convinced anything but Bitcoin is doomed. Even Doge is bad now, and it's as pure PoW as could be, wtf, I understand PoS worries as PoS requires a paradigm shift in thinking but Doge? Blind bias hasn't ever got anyone very far, I guess they're soon to find that out from personal experience, and learn that diversification is the name of the game.

Crypto currencies won't go up significantly before QE4 starts, which will be larger than the first 3 QEs combined. It should be a less than 12 month wait for the next QE as world economy is falling to pieces and they will try to pump it up one last time with an unlimited QE this time until the entire fiat system is reset to something else. They will try to bail-in bank depositors at the same time. That will be the environment in which crypto currencies will blossom in 2015(16)-2020.

Well why dont you guys give Nxtty a try while waiting for GEMS and then compare them both.
They are probably afraid to get used to Nxtty so much that they won't even look at GEMS )
|
|
|
Lol.. Every alt users are bitcoin users. Why spend time on lower class coin when you can join the bigger bitcoin ship. If by 'user' you mean someone who needs bitcoins to exchange them to other coins, then yes, almost every alt user is a bitcoin user. If you mean that every alt coin user also has bitcoins, that's not so. Bitcoin is still the fastest way to get alt coins, that is one of its main functions, remove that function and utility of Bitcoin is not that large.

Damn. I have like 10 different coins in there and the last thing I want to do is install a bunch of mysto software on my computer.
You're asking for trouble by storing coins at a centralized exchange, SEC or not.

Hey guys let's not argue which is better, GEMS isn't released yet, so we can't evaluate really. Nxtty is pretty basic too at this point. But it's still cutting-edge technology, and everyone should try both apps, I believe.

|
|
I'm waiting for GEMS to come out I'll try both
