281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 30, 2023, 03:17:38 AM
Second of Galatasaray's goals from Hakim Ziyech trough free kick unbelievable with Andre Onana miss it and Manchester United failed with three points achievement last night.
Ziyech have two goals from two unbelievable mistakes of Onana, not only from that free kick. Manchester United had good advantages in both matches against Galatasaray but they ended those matches with one defeat and one draw. Their biggest problem is from defense system which failed to defend good advantage created by attacking players.

Quote
Manchester United have one thing for qualifying to next round, get three points against Bayern Munich and match between Copenhagen vs Galatasaray must be draw, if one of both team get three points automatically over for Manchester United qualify to next round.
Get three points from Bayern Munich, it sounds an impossible mission for Manchester United. I guess they will have only one point from Bayern Munich and this means Manchester United will have to play in Europa League again. Even with a second team, Bayern Munich will be able to create troubles to Manchester United in the last match.

Arsenal always plays very well at home. Good game for Arsenal to ensure their qualification as Manchester United fail out from the competition. Havertz scored again for Arsenal after his winning goal for them against Brentford in the premier league. Scoring like this is good for him, because it was about time, he started bringing his contributions to the team.
Playing in Champions League is very important for big clubs because firstly it is helpful for their finance with very good income from Champions League. Second, tough matches in Champions League will help their players to improve quality and mentality which will be helpful when they return to domestic league. Arsenal are on a way to become one of strongest competitors in Premier League and their performances in Champions League are improving too.
282  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The fate of mixers. on: November 30, 2023, 03:02:12 AM
There is an endless discussion that involes freedom of speech and freedom of privacy. Mixers are good but can be used by criminals and North Korean hackers. Is "bad people use it" enough to prevent actual privacy seekers? I for one would like for mixers to continue to exist, and in a utopian way, only be used by good people.
Seems like Lazarus group is a root cause of all mixer seizures recent years. Seems like Lazarus group is a favorite target of many governments and authorities so that if any mixer is used by Lazarus group, it will be automatically put in a black list of governments, authorities and will be in list of seizure attempts from governments.

The quote is interesting but it is true. Recent weeks, there is a lawsuit about Tornado Cash. A source code, a service is considered as a criminal tool but is it true by laws.

284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin transaction time reduce in future? on: November 29, 2023, 10:04:19 AM
Anybody can launch a proposal or create a (hard) fork themselves (to see if the majority of the network will switch to their version).
Those forks are dead.

How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!!. Surprised because many of those forks (hundred) are dead.
https://forkdrop.io/how-many-bitcoin-forks-are-there

Quote
The clash resulted in only a very limited amount of people following the new fork, 1 BCH =~ $200 whilst 1 BTC =~ $37000
If they are not dead, like BCH, their networks are very quick and vulnerable to 51% attack. Bitcoin is the best.
How many confirmations are equivalent* to 6 Bitcoin confirmations?
BCH needs 1060 confirmations to have equivalent security like confirmations of Bitcoin blockchain. It is 181x slower. Anyone like BCH?
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Check if you have any rare satoshi on: November 28, 2023, 09:40:35 PM
It's good to use a multicity VPN for such fun platforms. I see someone has recommended using TOR. But I believe that's not really required to have such complexity.
VPN and Tor are different but if you use VPN for accessing such fun platforms, why use Tor is something can not be considered, really?

If you only want to explore a funny platform, don't want to use VPN or Tor, you can randomly pick a Bitcoin address from blockchain explorers and paste it to check. Check that randomly chosen address and explore the platform. It will not harm your privacy.

List of useful Bitcoin block explorers.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Check if you have any rare satoshi on: November 28, 2023, 02:59:48 PM
For curiosity, use it is acceptable but use it with Tor connection. Security wise.

I agree with you, checking and get some information from it, even you have rare satoshi, it does not make your satoshi has more value.

When I visit the website, its landing page, my impression is it a website to shill Solana.

Next it is like a website to shill Ordinals. If you want to buy rare satoshi, there https://magiceden.io/ordinals/marketplace/rare-sats
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: November 28, 2023, 11:14:35 AM
Of course I wont, although I do gamble with loan money some times but I am still able to control myself and knowing my own limit.
Knowing the limit how much to get a loan based on my own income and how much should I spend on gambling.
Many reminders like "Don't trade, don't gamble if you can not afford to lose your money". It is about your own money and if it is a loan money, it's worse. Generally it is terrible to do trading or gambling with people who can not control themselves in emotion and psychology. If they feel themselves are uncontrollable in emotion and psychology, don't trade and don't gamble is the best.

You do it but you are safe because you are good at control yourself and you can have expertise in gambling too. For other people, it is very risky and they should not do this.

Quote
Based on your experience, I'd say that you make 2 mistakes here.
First is that you take a loan but you did not calculate it wisely and 2nd mistake is that you use all the loan for gambling.
Actually the main problem here is not about "gamble with loan money" but it is more about "addiction" which make you lose your own control.
Losing control can cause a small loss to bigger losses like losing own money to borrow more money and repeat same mistakes to revenge and cover the initial loss. The ending is like losing more and even losing a chance to correct mistake.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: November 28, 2023, 11:01:56 AM
It is obvious that no good thing that come easy and when you are not lucky in gambling you are not lucky and a lucky person in everything he tries might still be a lucky person on gambling
Even your post is like a mess and you must write it better.

Gambling is for everyone, rich and poor, they are all welcome in gambling industry. Each person has different reasons to join gambling. It can be because they want to entertain but also try luck to win with money for more fun. It can be because they want to get rich with small money they have. The second type of gamblers will have more risk. Because they will likely gamble irresponsibly and will lose all money and assets they have.

Gambling sites have their reminders like "Gambling Responsibly" but the second type of gamblers will nearly not mind about that reminder.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 27, 2023, 04:21:17 PM
Rodrygo in his last 3 matches has always looked stunning, of course this is a good sign for Los Blancos.  Likewise with Jude Bellingham who completed the final goal as dessert. He has collected 11 goals and placed  himself as the top scorer in La Liga, a promising first season.  The top of the standings was taken over by Madrid from Girona but this result could change again because Girona has 1 match  remaining namely facing Bilbao today.
Rodrygo received a lot of complains about his poor scoring performances in this season and this match is his answer. Two goals and one assist, he made an excellent match. Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. will continue to be two important players for attacking system of Real Madrid.

This victory also welcomed Jude Bellingham after his injury and this match gives him chance to get another goal and he is the only midfielder who can join best scorer list in history of Real Madrid for the first 14 matches. Only Jude Bellingham is in this list and other players like Puskas, Cristiano Ronaldo are all attacking players, strikers. This season witness a very considerable change, upgrade and growth of Jude.

Last night Sevilla also suffered another defeat after they were unable to overcome any attacks from Real Sociedad and the score ended 2-1. Even though they were two goals behind, Sevilla actually still had the chance to equalize, but unfortunately they could only score one goal in this match. The game between the two teams looked so fierce that it was not surprising that there were so many fouls and that was also what resulted in Sergio Ramos and Jesus Navas getting red cards at the end of the match. I don't think they need to do that, especially since the team is already behind and the possibility of defeat is in sight.

Sevilla must be quite disadvantaged with two of their players having to miss the next two La Liga matches due to sanctions from this red card. Sergio Ramos continues to be a bad boy and he is a player who is often sent off with 29 red cards throughout his career since the 2000s.
Sergio Ramos already made a La Liga record of sending off player years ago in Real Madrid. Leaving Real Madrid, he continued to make a new record in PSG and now Sevilla. This is a very solid record that is hard to be broken by other players in future.

First a player wants to break it must have a long career and have many appearances for his club so that he has enough chances to be sent off by referee.
Second, that player must have a very tough playing style like Ramos.

Frankly to say, it's very difficult to find such a player in future but every thing is possible and record is made to be broken by new players.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 25, 2023, 03:22:21 AM
Finally, after everything we heard about Arteta and what he said after the game between Arsenal and Newcastle, he decided to start talking. Recently we saw news about the Japanese player of Arsenal, Takehiro Tomiyasu leaving this team but Arteta said they want this player to stay because everyone in Arsenal like to keep Takehiro Tomiyasu keep in this team.

Tomiyasu has good contributions for Arsenal and they give the player good respect and fair treatment. However, a club has to change and upgrade their squad if wanting to improve their squad strength and become more competitive in big competitions like Premier League. Tomiyasu can stay and can still be used by Arteta but I believe Arteta and Arsenal also need another player who can create pressure of competition internally for a position in the squad with Tomiyasu. It will force the players play better together and in some situations, Arteta will have to make substitutions and tactical changes to find goals and points for his team.

It would be easy to tell the difference between the two teams if they had performed the way Liverpool did last season but Liverpool have improved their performance this season compared to last season so it is difficult to predict what will happen in the match between Manchester City and Liverpool. The match will be held at Manchester City's home ground in which case Manchester City may have some home advantage, apart from the benefit of home advantage if all other factors are discussed then there is not much difference between the two teams.
The match will give a chance for Liverpool and Klopp to boost their mentality stronger if they can beat Manchester City in this direct match. If they win it, they will have a free booster for the whole club and will confidently move onward as a biggest challenger against Manchester City in Premier League this season. A fact is within last six seasons, only Liverpool managed to take Premier League trophy from hands of Manchester City.

Quote
Manchester City have lost quite a few matches this season against relatively easy opponents so it is not impossible for Liverpool to win against Manchester City. Liverpool have a chance to get 3 points if they can perform well against Manchester City on the field but I am favoring Manchester City to win considering the home ground.
It  is unrealistic to have perfect results in a long season and it is very hard to see invincible team during a very long season. The record is held by Arsenal in the 2003 - 2004 season with Arsene Wenger as their coach.

Manchester City dominated Premier League last six seasons but they could not repeat the unbeaten record of Arsenal. It's enough to prove that it is quite difficult to achieve even with a dominating team.

You can see the Terms and Conditions to know about KYC. We do not always ask for KYC but sometimes we will ask for KYC from our site users

If you have any other questions, feel free to message us  Wink
Because as a user does not know when the advanced KYC card will be pulled by the company compliance team, for sake of safety of a user fund, it's a safe approach to don't store big money in an online gambling account. I hope you see my reply right, I am not against your Terms of Service because I see it is common on centralized platforms.

So the advice is very general too and good news is a reliable platform does not arbitrarily pull the card to damage their reputation.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: November 23, 2023, 11:28:21 AM
Nope, we're crap. I'll put all my money on us not getting out of the group, no matter what kind of group we get.
We had a great midfield that covered both the shitty defence and slow and static attack, now our midfield is horrible as well.

Modrić can't keep a consistent level, Brozović is awful and Kovačić is decent, but never really excelled for the national team.
We're without Perišić, with Kramarić as our only reliable offensive option, and with Šutalo in horrible form we don't know who'll be playing with Gvardiol in defence.

We lack directness, width and depth all across the pitch, I'm not looking forward to the Euros at all.
Croatia team should not rely on Modric or Perisic too much because they are very old players. I can not deny they are great players with magical skills and massive achievements in their career with clubs and Croatian national team but ageing does not avoid any player.

Croatia can use those players at appropriate times when their coach see those players can maximize their appearances with best effects they can do. With less appearances and less contributions from Modric and Perisic, Croatia is a team with serious lack of creativeness in attacking. The team have a good system with players unite together as an actual team but to have goals against opponents, they need creativeness and deadly key passes from players like Modric and Perisic.

So far in Croatia, I hardly see young players who can replace these two legendary players.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They accumulate bitcoin but how about you? on: November 23, 2023, 01:08:57 AM
Unfortunately 99.9 percent of Bitcoin Talk members can not afford what this top list you show can.  Who in the world can buy SO much Bitcoin?  Too few to be a realistic goal.

But we should accumulate.  I agree.  It is never late.
It is the bottom line I would like to share in this thread.

We can do the similar accumulation like those investors and except nations seized bitcoins from criminal activities. We as small investors can do accumulation with Dollar Cost Averaging and become bitcoiners with diamond hands. We only have such diamond hands if we understand about Bitcoin's Controlled supply and some basic of its blockchain and use cases.

How is the 21 million Bitcoin cap defined and enforced?

This is always what I am saying to myself every time I am planning to buy Bitcoin or just afraid to buy Bitcoins. Like if these companies/people can buy millions of worth of Bitcoin why me just only a few less than a hundred - hundred worth of dollars just to buy Bitcoin?
These companies and people are inspirations for every one of us to own Bitcoin even only a few.
I can not disagree with you.

The magic of bear market is it lasts long enough (more than 2 years) so that it gives people time to accumulate bitcoins especially people with not too big capital.

Below are charts for addresses with balance > 0.01, 0.1 and 1 BTC. They both have upward trends but a most interesting chart is the one for 0.1+ BTC addresses as it shows a very steadily upward trend. 0.01 BTC is like too less and 1 BTC is like too much for small investors. 0.1 BTC makes more sense and magically the bear market helped many small investors accumulated enough 0.1 BTC for their portfolios.

There are smart people, groups, entities that are smart. They saw potential of Bitcoin and decided to accumulate Bitcoin a long time ago. They have accumulated a lot of bitcoins and owned a lot of bitcoins.

You can follow them to buy bitcoins and a good way to do this is Dollar Cost Averaging.

Before consider DCA and apply it, let's discover big Bitcoin investors.

Above are graphics and you can get details with two websites for Bitcoin Treasuries

Before following them, you must have knowledge to build up your belief in Bitcoin and start investing with DCA. I introduce to you a good one to read.

Yes, the prediction thread is run with our knowledge and approval.  All prizes awarded within the thread are credited to the winner's CoinRoyale account.
Thank you for clarification.

An excellent question, but I am still convinced that if you were torn by curiosity, you could write to me and ask.

I assume you are familiar with me and the way I do business, and I can assure you that without my knowledge, no one on this forum would promote the project that I oversee. This also means that if the user you mentioned announces weekly competitions, he was instructed by me and acts according to the template that was compiled in conjunction with the CoinRoyale team. Therefore, I believe that you have nothing to worry about. But I appreciate your observation.
I know CoinRoyale is a very old casino and they run their business for years already. I have no doubt about legitimacy of the business and surely I have no doubt about your professional and management skills. Thank you for the reply and let's head towards success for the business.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 21, 2023, 05:48:59 AM
I would not even go as far as to compare Bitcoin with altcoins, lol...
Because it does not worth to compare them as no reason to compare Diamond and Coal.

Quote
I admit to trading altcoins to leverage my Bitcoin sometimes but I deeply believe that the only reliable and trustworthy store of value is Bitcoin.
Altcoins only less risky in bull market and when Bitcoin starts to show signals of a bear market, it's time to cash out all altcoins and don't touch them for about next 2 years. Why next 2 years but not shorter? Because a Bitcoin bear market usually last 2 years and the third year will be time for warm up and recovery before a next bull run.

We are counting down to the next halving and next bull market.

Could I know why the contest is hosted by that user Peanutswar?

I don't mean it is bad but I would like to know more information about this. Like is Peanutswar a member of CoinRoyale team?

Or was is hired by the team to host the contest?

I guess the second possibility is slim because if Coin Royale team hire a Bitcointalk member to host it, they can go with icopress or they can simply host it by themselves with their representative account in Bitcointalk.

The information is very needed, to avoid scammers open a thread, host a contest and run. It will be harmful for CoinRoyale reputation.
