281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 29, 2017, 10:31:13 AM
Yes, for sure digital currency will play a major role in the future. Here in the Netherlands, everyone is used to pay with their debit card. I even think it's used more then cash.

However, paper money will not be gone for a long time, since there are always people around who don't want to adapt to new things.

When digital currency is more a usual thing, I don't think it's gonna be bitcoin. The fees are simply too high to be adopted worldwide.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Next "dot-com bubble"? on: August 28, 2017, 11:56:59 PM
Funny thing you're mentioning this 'bubble'.

I remember talking 2 years ago with some friends of mine about bitcoin, when the price was $300, after falling from 1000+$. They told me that the 'bubble' is over, but I guess they're proven wrong.

I don't think bitcoin is over at all. It isn't even a bubble.

Click on profile -> stats. Now you see a number in the address. That's your bitcointalk account number.
284  Other / Meta / Re: How to unfollow a topic? on: August 28, 2017, 07:42:17 PM
You can click on 'unwatch' for it to not appear in your 'watchlist' anymore. By doing that, you can select the topics you're wanting to follow.

Thanks for the kind words all. I appreciate it.

For this time being, I thought that bitcoinvideocasino has huge house edge on their blackjack games -snip-

Anyway are you going to put more sites for other games? It seems there is still so many new sites out there. I do not see any plinko games here or may be slots

No, bitcoinvideocasino doesn't have bad rules compared to some of the other sites.

Yeah, I'll add a cathegory  called 'other' in which I make a list of sites like bustabit.
I'm not sure about plinko, but I think I want a cathegory of slots as well.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: August 27, 2017, 12:57:08 PM
does anyone has login issue? i tried to login into bitdice casino,, but there is say internal service error.. i have tried clear chace and cookies,, restrt router and pc but still dont  work. actually im using chrome and torch browser, both didnt work
Works fine with me, actually I never had any problem every time I access my account.
Maybe you have a connection problem in your area, when there is no announcement like maintenance that means site is working.

In fact, the site was down for a while, but it's up and running again.
287  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 25-08-17 on: August 27, 2017, 11:07:20 AM
Is there a gambling site that i can earn without investment just like free spin or atleast faucet. Thank you

As you can see, there are plenty of sites that have a faucet. Just take a look at the 'faucet' column.
288  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 25-08-17 on: August 26, 2017, 09:02:52 PM
@veleten already have Stake on my list. Please read it carefuly. And yes, please pm if you run into something.

@Samarkand thanks for the input. I will not be adding a bitcoin cash cathegory though. It is just an altcoin, and should be treated like that. If a site inplements it in their site, that's fine, I'll just add 1 more coin to the 'coin' cathegory.
289  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christians think they are the most persecuted religious group... lol on: August 26, 2017, 02:49:38 PM

There is zero evidence that "Jesus" ever existed... even as a normal person, non-god

The guy was a carpenter for 30 years and not a single person saved a table/desk/chair/door or anything made by Jesus?!?

Not a single person wrote about Jesus within 30 years of his death... not one... zero contemporary historians wrote about Jesus... zero eye-witnesses wrote about Jesus... many of the writings containing the name Jesus have been proven forgeries (ex. Flavius Josephus' Testimonium has an added paragraph about Jesus around 300AD... 200+ years after it was written... obvious forgery)

There have been books written by well-educated scholars disputing the historicity of this Jesus character (i.e., claiming he never existed)
https://www.amazon.com/On the Historicity of Jesus: Why We Might Have Reason for Doubt
I mean... 700 pages... pretty much proving Jesus never existed (as well as you can prove a negative like "god doesn't exist")

I obviousely can't read the whole book, but as far as I can see the description, the author doesn't claim to have proven that Jesus has never excisted, but tells that we need more evidence before we can accept that he really excisted.

Also, most people who have knowledge in this area, agree that the historicity of Jesus is 'effectively certain'. Read this on a.o. Wikipedia. I know Wikipedia is not a good source on itself, but that site has some great references as well.

For example: Michael Grant (a classicist) states that
Quote
In recent years, 'no serious scholar has ventured to postulate the non historicity of Jesus, or at any rate very few, and they have not succeeded in disposing of the much stronger, indeed very abundant, evidence to the contrary

FYI, Wikipedia is the most accurate source of encyclopedic information on the planet... there is no better source for accurate information... only a complete idiot trash-talks Wikipedia (for some reason 100% of Wikipedia haters are Christians... coincidence?... perhaps you simply hate science and truth, not Wikipedia itself?)

Perhaps if you spent more time reading Wikipedia, you could spell words properly... seriously, 3 spelling errors in your first sentence?

As I already stated, there IS ZERO NON-BIBLICAL EVIDENCE FOR JESUS

There is NONE... PERIOD

If you have some evidence, link a source

The lack of evidence implies non-existence...

There is no evidence for unicorns, because they don't exist
There is no evidence for leprechauns, because they don't exist
There is no evidence for gremlins, because they don't exist
There is no evidence for faeries, because they don't exist
There is no evidence for Jesus, because he didn't exist

Please take a look at this website: https://www.biblicalarchaeology.org/daily/people-cultures-in-the-bible/jesus-historical-jesus/did-jesus-exist/

Even if no one wrote about him (which is not the case), that still wouldn't proof the idea that Jesus didn't exist.

If you'd search on google, there are some sites that can help you out.

2 of them are https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and https://blockchain.info/pushtx

Edit: you sent not that much fee (200 sat/byte), so it can take a while to get confirmed by just waiting.
292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christians think they are the most persecuted religious group... lol on: August 26, 2017, 01:49:08 PM
2017?
That is such a weird number, I wonder where we got it from. Was it 2017 years since Earth existed, since humans existed, since we figured out medicine or agriculture?

It's the number of years since their christian god was born.

2000 years later, we know no such god ever existed.  But what do we do?  Change the year?
Don't want to go off topic here, but there was a guy who lived 2000 years ago, who was in fact Jesus from Nazareth, so '2017 after Christ' is still corect (since Jesus is also called Christ).

Now wheter or not he was a God, is a different matter.

Where can make a bet? in btc

There are plenty of sites who offer this bet. Check out my signature for a review of them.

I just added the review of some sports betting sites, with NitrogenSports leading the way! I have reviewed them on the odds that they offer, as well as on how many different games they offer.

If you feel like there should be more sites on this list, feel free to reply here, or send me a PM. I am always happy if you guys give me input.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 21-08-17 on: August 25, 2017, 10:02:55 AM
Where is my favourite sites? https://bitcasino.io/ and Freebitco.in <high house edge>? They are not the best, but they are some of the oldest websites around. Freebitco.in is not just a faucet site, because it's core business is gambling related. They are also Provable Fair < yes, even the Lottery > ^smile^

Please rate them and add them to your list. Thank you for the effort and time that you spend to do this, it looks great.

What category does Bustabit type games fall in? < Unique concepts >
That's right, I forgot about bitcasino. I'll add them later after I've looked into them. Freebitcoin is not a gambling website, but a faucet, so it doesn't belong here.

Thanks for the kind words Smiley

Edit: games like bustabit will be added in the future in the cathegory 'others', since there are some games around which does not fit in the typical cathegories.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange with most coins on: August 24, 2017, 10:30:59 PM
As far as crypto-crypto exchanges go, I'd join the other above me, and say Bittrex has plenty of markets available, plus they are decenly trustworthy.

For fiat exchanges though, I'd go with kraken.com. I have been trading there for a while, and I think they are pretty good.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 21-08-17 on: August 24, 2017, 09:16:24 PM
Yeah, SafeDice has a low house edge, and their site has been around quite some time, so I do think they deserve a high rating.

On the DuckDice topic: I do agree with DuckDice if they give the 2BTC back. I don't know all the details, but as far as I have read, I think DuckDice doesn't deserve negative trust (although mistakes have been made).

I disagree, if you were able to place some bets on the website and you won, you should receive the appropriate payout, no manouvers, no settlements.
Final post about this topic, since it's getting offtopic.

He made a profit with bonus money. Since he cancelled the bonus, the money he won with it is cancelled as well. It's as easy as that.

In the casino business it is very common that you play with your own balance first, and after you have bust that, you can play with the bonus balance (unless you've cleared it already). If you lose all your own balance, and then cancel the bonus, you obviousely have no money left.

Just my two cents. You might disagree, but this topic isn't made to discuss about this subject.

I am willing to participate in this, but first I'd like to know if there is any space and/or if I'd be accepted.

In that case, please contact me, I will send the required information ASAP.

its a good list, yes you do it for free, yet you didn't forget to put your reflinks in Smiley
think cryptogames has 1% dice, also I do not agree with many of the ratings, but this is very subjective
duckdice and safedice were given very high rating, bitvest and primedice ,IMHO,recieved lower ratings than they should have
coinrool and zoomdice and kingdice have very very low number of players, kingdice should be scoring around 4 out of 10
hope the list will get updated and include some new casinos and dice sites as well

Yeah, I'm trying to change things every day if I need to. Thanks for the input  Smiley

Well, SafeDice does have the lowest edge around (not counting 999dice  Cheesy)

Also, DuckDice has a pretty high rating considering this

Ok op what do you mean under table cash? There is a signature campaign which is allowed by the forum rules, each campaign had various conditions. In all this time, I have first time seen someone accuse them, and it's sad cause for me they are the best casino, and Alex the owner takes his work seriously. In case he hasn't replied to your query it's cause he's busy with Ico. So now tell us how much and where did you loose.
Give us more than words, some image some link.

What he's talking about, is my signature. I have an overview of a lot of bitcoin gamlbing sites (more to come soon). In the dice section, I rated bitdice the highest, becuase I think their website is the best out there.

He claims that I took money to place them on #1, which is not true.
